Bare Vanilla Decadent

I don't usually go for body mists, but I've purchased this one because of the great recommendations. I've tried it in-store before buying and the vanilla is just beautiful. It's warm sweet vanilla with some musk & amber, perfect for the cold weather. Longevity and sillage are expected to be short for a body mist, but I don't mind as I layer this one with other vanilla perfumes or I can top it up during the day.

Third fragrance I've tried from the Bare Vanilla series and this is by far my favorite. However I really do wish the projection was better. It smells perfect on its own and also on layering. Not too sweet/cloying like how many vanilla scents tend to get. The performance is so much better on my BV La Creme though so I'm disappointed in that regard. This is just a skin scent on me even though I had sprayed tons.

I like it. This is a baby powder with vanilla. Not sharp, not woody, this is almost neutral, maybe...relaxing, it remembers me the easter sugar almonds when we open the pacage that sugar smell that comes up, or the sugar powder that we put on the waffles. Altough i don't think as it a sweet fragrance, is more powdery than sweet.

The cream smells more like vanilla and the mist more like amber, the combo gives the most beautiful winter night time smell . Love it !Bare Vanilla -DECADENT is perfection ! a perfect Vanilla scent mmmmmm

I’m surprised with this body mist is really nice, smell like sweet wooden vanilla, very subtle, simple, elegant. For me perfect for any time of the year. Definitely I gonna buy more of this one.

Ooooohh I like this! I bought a bunch of BV flanker decants, and I randomly plucked this one out from the stash tonight. Woody vanilla goodness! Looking forward to getting a full bottle.

It's been a hot minute since I purchased a VS fragrance product but Bare Vanilla Dacadent is the perfect base for my woody vanilla scents. The vanilla starts borderline syrupy but the amber, which is reminiscent of the amber in Baccarat Rouge, balances out the sweetness nicely. Really nice quality for a VS frag.

It reminds me of root beer, it smells like newly opened can of root beer. It's fizzy, sweet, creamy, and not cloying.

This has that “syrupy vanilla and smoky wood” thing that a lot of frags have nowadays (Vanilla Woods, Fresh Cream Warm Cashmere, By the Fireplace, Cheirosa ‘40). I think what makes this a little different is the bright fruity (guava? passion fruit?) opening and the touch of amber and musk in the drydown. Not super long lasting on skin but ok on clothes! Not a necessity if you have the frags mentioned above but still nice and an easy wear. EDIT: The day after, I can still smell it in my hair .. and I’m picking up on something reminiscent of BR. I hate BR, so I’m kinda grossed out. Thankfully, it’s not super prominent.

Decadent is a very good name for this mist as it is HEAVY. Light and sweet vanilla backed by a rich and heavy amber waiting for you to walk out into a cold winter's night. While basic, can be perceived quite sexy and sophisticated if worn right.

This is a like not a love, it’s a very smoky scent, I think I’ll have to layer with sweet perfumes to balance it out
