Basic Pumpkin

I just got this today and I fell immediately in Love. What a great scent! It starts of with a real pumpkin scent, then it'll become spicy for a few seconds and then it'll turn into the exact same scent you have when carving a pumpkin. This is so unbelievable real, it's really the exact same scent. Then it becomes slightly spicy and settles in a lactonic and sweet scent. The longevity is unfortunately not great, I could not smell it after a few minutes anymore. Which is sad because this is such a good scent. I really was looking for something with a real pumpkin note being prominent without being overpowered by spices.

This one smells like real carved pumpkin! I mean the real fresh pumpkin, with a hint of whipped cream. Unlike those artificial spiced pumpkin cream mixed with cinamon or musk, which gives a spicy hot kinda edible vibe, this one is definitely a more floral like (or vegetable like) smell. However the longevity sucks, it lasts for 2 hrs on my skin. It’s also discontinued. I do love this one more than other pumpkin scents I have like PUMPKIN CUPCAKE or MARSHMALLOW PUMPKIN LATTE .

I got this on sale for 3 dollars and I'll never forget it. This was truly one of the very best pumpkin scents ever, and as mentioned before me it really does smell like an authentic pumpkin during carving. The "latte" note is present but not overwhelming without threatening to turn this into a coffee scent. Since this is several years discontinued, if you're buying this now or later the expiration date on it should probably be honored, my 2 years past date bottle was mostly providing alcohol by that point and while you can still sample the notes it is not the same experience as when it was new.

VS Basic Pumpkin smells like a lighter and musky, but still balsamic BBW White Pumpkin and Chai mixed with Marshmallow Pumpkin Latte without the heavy unisex latte effect and the heavy toasted smokiness of the latter. Basic Pumpkin becomes very cupcake-like with a licorice-almond effect at the drydown similar to Simply Pink Pink Sugar Aquolina.
