Bombshell

I really don’t understand the hate. Here’s the thing: I wear a different perfume every day, and given the number of perfumes I have, it doesn’t get repeated very often. 50 perfumes, 30 days in a month, you do the math. But each time, and I kid you not, each time I have worn this particular perfume, he has turned around and asked me, “Whoa! Which perfume are you wearing today?” I’m sure if I were to ask him to pick a favourite from my collection, this is what he would land on. Bombshell, without a doubt, is a sexy perfume. But it is young woman sexy, if you know what I mean. Bombshell is a 21 year old on her third, or maybe fourth night out to the club with her friends. She’s slowly starting to realise that being sexy has got nothing to do with how short her skirt is or revealing her top is – after all, she’d spent the last nights tugging at her skirt and pulling up her top. She stands in front of her mirror and looks up and there – right there – in that tilt of her chin, in that smile of hers, in that mischievous sparkle in her eyes – she finds that elusive sensuality of hers. It’s just a wisp of a feeling right now, a teeny little spark, but one that shows promise. Bombshell is wedding night perfume, very sexy, yes, but also with just enough of that little something to keep it from being truly foxy. It is white satin sheets and lacy curtains and pink pillows as opposed to, well, red. I think too many people have negative associations with Bombshell - late night clubbing, friends smoking while smelling of Bombshell - but this is one perfume that I will never tire of.

This perfume to me is nostalgia in a bottle like another reviewer said. Not super nostalgic, like for example Gucci Rush or older fragrances, because I was in high school when bombshell was released. I remember when I first bought this perfume. It had been out for at least a year, but I got my driver's license, and where does every teenager go when they have their license? Yep, the local mall. I went into VS and smelled the classics - love spell, pear glace, the pink scents, and did my lap around the beauty products, stocking up on the lip glosses. and then I saw the travel size body mist of Bombshell. I was going to the gym every day at 4:00AM at that time in my life (oh to be young and have no responsibilities but high school and exercise), so I thought it would be perfect to toss in my gym bag. It was such a clean, fresh, light weight fragrance. It became my go to gym perfume, and I ended up getting the perfume a few months later. It smells like a clean, fruity, shampoo. If I can remember, it gives me the same vibes as Dylan Versace the new purple one. Like a clean, girly, happy inoffensive fragrance, also in the same vein as the classic Ralph by Ralph Lauren. Simple and straightforward, like being a teenager. I am going to get a bottle of this for the memories.

I found a website that sells designer inspired perfumes that are note-for-note the exact same, I have now bought 11 perfumes from them and they are ALL 100% spot on the same and I kid you not some of them are 2 and 3 dollars and the most expensive one I’ve seen was 21 dollars, it’s insanity in the best way! Anyways I had always wanted to try this but there is no VS stores in my city or surrounding areas AND the prices online were outrageous so when I found this for $4.39 for a 100mls size-it was a done deal! So it smells deliciously sweet, it’s fresh like shampoo or body wash without being overly generic smelling, floral in a light way and fruity in a sweet way. It’s so nice and inoffensive that it would make a great blind buy. It’s girly and clean smelling and while it would make a great summer and spring staple, it can absolutely be worn year round without coming off smelling out of season, if that makes sense! It doesn’t last the greatest amount of time but for less than five bucks spray again and again and again....I would love to have a body wash and lotion of this because I think layered it would last longer!

this was the first perfume i ever had. I got it for my 11th birthday along with a DVD of the first hunger games movie. the first time I smelled it was in the van nuys budweiser factory tour that my dad dragged me to along with our family friends. my mom and I were trailing in the back while I huffed hand lotion from her purse bc the smell was so abhorrent to me when to my surprise, an Angel walked past me — in the form of our friends' gorgeous and awesome older sister in college. this was her signature scent, and she was happy to let me wear it in what marked the early ages of my deep gratitude for my olfactory system. and the beginning of my life-long disdain for light beer <3 later she gifted me her old vanity desk, jewelry box, and makeup.. oh how she taught me to perform femininity! to me, VS bombshell is so fun and flirty and it always will be. bombshell, they could never make me hate you!

Such an easy reach. Boring? Yes. But it’s perfect for day - to day wear, especially in the summer when you want a light & uplifting fragrance. It’s not too overpowering and will still have you smelling sexy & clean at the same time. The only thing I was disappointed with is that I don’t get any of the fruity notes that are listed. At all. I don’t smell pineapple, strawberry, passionfruit, or tangerine. none of that. It’s just straight up aquatic. If you want a basic everyday perfume and smell like you’ve just walked out a shower, I’d say get this because this is a pretty sophisticated perfume that makes you feel uplifted & put together, but if you’re expecting something with more depth and fruity, I’d recommend bright crystal by Versace instead. They’re very similar, except bright crystal has a pomegranate note that brings a juicy fruitiness which is what I was expecting with bombshell.

To me, this is a fragrance that exudes confidence. The sillage wafts & floats all around; people WILL smell you even if you’re only using the body mist. It’s fresh, happy & unafraid to command attention. I think that in itself is good enough reason for this perfume to be called “Bombshell”. It’s not sexy in a traditional deep, sweet or spicy way but I think that’s what makes it so popular. It’s extremely wearable. Every man, friend or otherwise, has loved this scent in my experience. Not saying that’s the reason you should wear it, just something to note. I’m not surprised this is so popular & has stood the test of time. I’ll always love this perfume. I might pick it up again after not having owned it in a few years; the only thing is.. if you wear this, someone WILL ask “are you wearing bombshell?” Because it is so widely recognized 😆

Apparently Margot Robbie wore Bombshell during the filming of Barbie to prepare for her role. She didn’t specifically say that, but from an interview with her and the director Greta Gerwig, Margot mentioned that she wore a specific (quite popular/famous) perfume to get into the role of Barbie. When the reporter asked her, which it was, she said she won’t say the name.. “it’s a secret.” Then Greta chimed in and said “Oh you smelled like an Angel!” So I figured ..secret .. angel ... it must be something from VS.. and what’s the most iconic fragrance from the VS line.. of course Bombshell! I thought. So yeah I just wanted to share this little info. If you wanna channel Margot Robbie’s version of Barbie, this would probably be the best fragrance to do so.

The perfume my sister used when she was in primary school. My mother had given it to her as a gift. For me, this perfume is a sweet and cute perfume that a sweet girl sprays before leaving home before going to school. There were a few ml left at the bottom of a bottle my sister was using at the time and I found it by chance. It must be a very old bottle. Its smell has become quite bitter. A few minutes after I sprayed it on my wrist, the bitterness of the perfume disappeared. My sister is 19 years old now. But this scent reminds me of her more childish period 7-8 years ago. I have a feeling she'll walk through the door soon and tell me how she played football better than the boys at school. I love my sister so much. 🙏😊

I get more oakmoss than what people have voted for in this note breakdown! It’s a note I wouldn’t have been able to detect when I bought this fragrance in high school. Since then, I’ve smelled it in more compositions. And I have to say—there’s suuuuch a tasteful dose in here. Oakmoss can get overbearing and inky pretty quickly, but in here it pairs so well with the fresh tropical fruits and grounds them in something substantial that isn’t vanilla or amber. No, this isn’t a warm/sweet/deliberately sexy fragrance. It’s mesmerizingly shower-fresh and exacting, to the point where I could see this fragrance come across as intimidating. For some reason, that warrants the ~Bombshell~ name in my book. 8/10 :D

This perfume will never go out of style. It smells like the epitome of the 2014 tumblr days where we were all obsessed with PINK and VS and all we could smell is Bombshell. It smells like the equivalence of the Victoria's Secret striped pink and white pattern. It smells like the OG VS fashion shows. I love this fragrance. It's aquatic, lush, green, clean, and fresh. It also smells expensive. Bombshell is one of those fragrances that people can pick out of a room. It's so nostalgic and memorable. I always have a bottle of Bombshell. I throw it in my work bag, gym bag, etc. You can wear it anywhere and know you'll smell amazing, and you'll probably also get a compliment or two from those around you.

my signature scent... for a while I kind of tried not to love it as much anymore and you know why? all the reviews I was reading about VS perfumes put me off and made me think people would think I smell cheap... I tried to love more expensive perfumes, I own a few and I really like them, but none of them give me that feeling like...me! well, I've decided I won't let this happen anymore as fragrances are not about price, but about the way you feel when you wear them... all that snobbery about perfumes won't effect my choices anymore and I will feel free to wear my signature scent proudly and to feel myself and happy!

I used to wear this perfume in my teenage years (13-18). I'm 20 now, and still have it on my shelf. I have probably had 5 bottles of it, haha. Smells very fresh, very fruity, not overpowering -- perfect for a teenage girl who wants to smell nice and feminine. People say it's generic, and I can feel why -- nonetheless, this is an easily recognizable and very special scent to me, personally. I will continue to restock every now and then because I want to try to layer with other scents I have. I would say this is a safe blind buy, especially as a gift for your younger daughter. :)

This is a review for the body mist, which I actually prefer over the perfume. This performs surprisingly well on my skin especially for a body mist. I have trouble with even strong perfumes fading or turning on my skin after an hour, but this body mist lasts so long on me, and smells fresh for the entire duration. To me this smells like the pretty girl in school or at the mall who smells like she just took a shower. It’s fresh and clean without leaning masculine. I also love layering this with the new Pink by Pink eau de Parfum.

A beautiful clean freshie, nothing sexy about it, completely unisex. A compliment getter especially in summer. Bonus point: it keeps mosquitoes and wasps at bay, and I mean it: I am usually prey to all sort of bites, bit this perfumes simply works! Not a single bite every time I wear it, no matter where I am outside in the summertime. Office friendly, it opens with a fresh passion fruit zing and develops floral and woody with a light sweetness, which is never too much. 10/10: a must have.

WOW! OKAY! I just got this for christmas today from my mama. it's the mini body spray version and it's amazing! It's a perfect blend of fruity, floral, and creamy. I love it! It's very girly, I've been really adoring the coquette style as of late and I feel like it fits that pinky vibe. She is divine. ugh, I love it I feel like if you're a 2000's girl, this is also for you. I get Pam Anderson vibes too!! Just love her, juicy, fruity, sweet, almost tangy

I love the fruity freshness of this scent. I use it when I am shelling to keep mosquitoes and no-see-ums from biting me (Amber Romance is also a great mosquito deterrent). I find it to be more effective than bug spray against no-see-ums on Sanibel Island. The one year I didn't bring Bombshell and relied on bug spray, the no-see-ums went after me like I was the most savory turkey leg from Disney World. I can't travel without it!

I have been putting off purchasing Bombshell because of all the bad reviews but got myself one finally. I have to say, I am pleasantly surprised. I mean, yes the fragrance is basic AF but very sensual. It is a sexy fruity, fresh and floral scent. It's an effortless "man-pleaser" scent that goes with all outfits. I have it in the body mist version too. Life is too short to pretend that you don't like VS bombshell.

This is one of the cleanest perfumes I've ever smelled. It reminds me of a very nice fruity shampoo or body soap. I smell mainly passion fruit, pineapple and peony. It has the right balance of florals and fruits, while being fresh at the same time. Perfect for spring and summer, I always feel so clean when I am wearing this. Longevity and projection are very weak though, you need to reapply through the day.

Literally my favourite scent ever! I get super bored of perfumes, even if I love them, after like 2 or 3 weeks. Been using this for a year and a half now, could never get bored. For reference, I'm a sweet and gourmand lover and VERY picky - this isn't gourmand yet I adore it. Every single time I've worn this I've been told I smell good - had 3 compliments in the last week and I've only worn it twice.

Bombshell is my favourite fragrance from Victoria's Secret, I love fruity and floral fragrances and I love the combination of all the lovely fruity floral notes in this. Bombshell is fruity sweet but not too overpowering, the floral notes of jasmine and peony complements the fruity notes and adds a bit of elegance to the fragrance. I love this fragrance so much and I wear this often.

I love this scent so much, I never get tired of smelling it, it's so feminine and fun and fruity/floral, it's balanced and to me it gives fresh fruit salad vibes. When I wore it tho, it really did not last long, I really wanted it to, but after a few wears I realized it just disappears at some point, also it might smell generic and not that unique, but I still think it's veryyy nice.

Well, no matter how many strange and quirky niches I own and love to use, Bombshell will probably always be my darkest filthy little secret and guilty pleasure which I somehow deeply enjoy-when I’m home alone or just to spritz it over my gym clothes. This blend works magically with my skin chemistry to create something very fresh, crispy clean and surprisingly lasts like forever.

this was THE scent of the early 2010s, think 2011-2014, everyone (or at least, middle aged women) was wearing this. I just loved 2013, so this scent is an instant reminder of happier times - I will always love the smell of this perfume. Back when Justin Bieber, One Direction, Carly Rae Jepsen, Lorde and others from the era played in the radio. A reminder of... simpler times;

This is nostalgia in a bottle for me 🌺🍊. Makes me feel like i'm young again. I know we can't get younger, but I certainly need to have this scent to bring back memories. No one can tell me otherwise. this perfume is so 'girl' 'woman' 'feminine'! Victoria's Secret Bombshell, yeah it's going to be the quintessential womanly fragrace. Floral and Fruity, inoffensive just delicious. I love it idk why I never really smelt it sooner tbh. This is a good perfume to wear when you don't know what the vibe of the day is or what/where you're going. good longevity

The first time I smell it at the store, I knew I NEED it. The packaging was elegant and quite okay. The smell is great, doesn't really last too long, I love how the smell is not too strong since I can't handle very strong scents due to problems with my stomach. I don't really smell any plastic strawberries like what the comments said.

i feel like this is a very teen-girl type of scent, very fresh for the summer and it doesn't feel strong at all on my skin. i do get a lot of tangerine! it's like the main note that is always there for me, and for some reason this reminds me of aqua kiss but way more intense since aqua kiss disappears after 5 mins.

bought a travel sized bottle of this just in case i ended up not really liking it, but i really do enjoy this fragrance! im a sucker for sweet smells, so this was right up my alley. it has this soapy aspect to it that i cant really get enough of. once i run out im 100% buying the full bottle ^_^

Reminds me of the pink dove beauty soap bar a bit. Feels like you’ve just used a really nice flowery soap in a porcelain bath, and have stepped out and put on a fluffy bath robe. I’m infatuated by this gorgeous scent, can’t recommend enough. Got for half price in a gift set on the VS sale

VS Bombshell is my favorite among all VS fragrances. I have Seduction, Love, First Love and all the others but bombshell is the best. It is the best smelling perfume of VS. It lasts long on me as long as you spray more than once. You will smell lovely esp. if you spray it on your clothes.

I got the best Christmas gift this year, Bombshell soirée, a special Holliday edition 2025! Bombshell is one of my top favorite perfumes, but this one, it is differentiated. Silage is great! Warm and not too sweet, preferably for night-outs, or even maybe some kind of a "dressy" occasion.

Used to be one of my favorite fragrances, as I had original 2010 bottle. Got now new bottle and noticed fragrance is not strong as it used to be. Could feel it on myself much more and it lasted more than 12 h before. Now moderately feel it and lasts not so long. Very upset.

i LOVE the smell of this, i wish it lasted longer and the citrus came through more. i smell all the florals, and then some grapefruit and strawberry on the dry down. only lasts about a hour on me 💔. smells like a lotion your aunt would have when you were younger

got a small 3ml bottle as a gift, and oh my god. it's so good. it's fruity, tropical, and for me, even a little bit green, but in a good way, like if i was walking through a garden it's definitely for the younger crowd, but i am a part of it, so ╮⁠(⁠^⁠▽⁠^⁠)⁠╭

I bought this as a small travel vial, and DAMN it is good, smells like a really nice bath and body works body wash. Unfortunately, it lasts a bit longer than a body mist would. Would totally purchase this full size on a Black Friday sale or something.

This is STRONG! Bombshell was my go to when I was 16 (now 20), and for the time it was heaven. Silage and longevity is insane really, perhaps to a fault! I remember complaints on the bus about the strong smell. Perfect for teens or a y2k baddie

Usually reach for this one so I believe I've found my signature fragrance...for now! It's got a beautiful energizing, fruity, juicy opening and lingers on with heavy grapefruit and floral musk. It does make me feel sexy and myself! 10/10

My friend had the mist version of this on which is much less concentrated, very weak in comparison and they smelled so so good. Highly recommend this. Rare Hidden Gem, that is not mentioned by any of the male reviewers.

just sexy and fun. a bit immature and simple but who cares?? i like it idk im a sucker for a fresh feminine scent and it stays well. it doesn't dry down into a different scent. i wish i could find the atomizer but alas

The most gorgeous nostalgic scent. The epitome of girlhood for me! City lights, pink lip gloss and lace bras. Even with my collection of niche frags I wear bombshell when I want to feel both sexy and deeply comforted.

After years of collecting many different Designer and Niche Fragrances I will still always have Bombshell. There's nothing that smells like it to me and I get all day wear with moderate projection.

I love this fragrance so fresh and fruity and light... after a while it becomes so chillingly cold too..it is that fresh it reminds me of that ice note in bright crystal by Versace.

I really enjoy this scent by VS. Its very fresh, clean and sweet. Its perfect for every day. Its definitely a crowd pleasing scent. I wish more people would talk about this.

Smells like a typical high school teen girl. Personally i love it. It became my it scent for the summer. I often combine it with the Chloe Chloe fragrance. I like it.

I LOVE THIS it smells so good, it’s sweet but not cloying and smells like listening to music! But it only lasts an hour on my skin which is not good.

This is one of the very few perfumes I can wear in Brazilian summer. It's so freshly sweet and makes me want to drink a cold passion fruit smoothie!
