Cherry Desire

Delicious sultry cherry fragrance much stronger when layered with the body lotion as well! Smells like a dupe for lost cherry! I will be repurchasing!

Oh wow this thing smells exactly like artificial candy cherry! It's not a heavy smell whatsoever, very light and sweet. I'm used to most cherry fragrances leaning much more seductive and bitter and not being so playful but it's not bad! Kinda giving maraschino cherry. I agree with everyone saying it smells like fruit punch, very heavily disagree with the person that's trying to compare it to other cherry themed perfumes. Not every cherry perfume is meant to be a dupe for Lost Cherry so please stop treating them like they are please.

With so many Tom Ford Lost Cherry dupes out there this one doesn’t really stand out or have anything that sets it apart. It’s a pretty basic cherry fragrance. It does remind me of other body mist dupes like Sabrina Carpenter’s Cherry Baby, B&BW Oh Cherry, and Target Fi’nery’s Not Another Cherry. I think this one is a little fruitier and less complex than other body mist counterparts but I’d personally only get this one if it was on sale and I had run out of the others and couldn’t find them.

Smells like a cherry flavored sharpie

Delightfully succulent maraschino which dries down rather quickly toward a dark chemically preserved 'varnished' cherry, leaving something synthetic around the bright fruits edges akin to a newly unboxed toy or PVC pool liner. This brings to mind oddly specific images of expensive plastic toy candies being vacu-sealed with mentholated cherry blistex wrapped in latex and drizzled with ominous dribbles of dark glistening cough syrup on a neon lit set, heating and projecting the entire scene. Edgy, cheap, creepy, weird, fetishy and yes, reminiscent of common bases found in other cherry scents some 20 years ago. While Cherry Desire shares a hyperrealistic Maraschino, there is no beloved bitter almond opening ('crime scene detox' nodded my kid sagely) as was present in Bath & Bodyworks' Sweetheart Cherry. It's quite unlike Fine'rys Not Another cherry as that's a sweet honeyed witchy brew Cherry Desire's 'blush amber' smoothness feels poorly pulled from Amber Romance and is far less custard than generally sour cherry similar to that of Bath & Body Works Black Cherry Merlot, but this note isn't the star here; it's a carrier of this casket to the final stage. Super subtle artificial, medicinal accord. Soon this passes into something similar to that cool yet heavy magnolia-laden tonka in BBW's Oh Cherry which we found aged, stifling and offputting (it's an 'angry' cherry, my daughter said grimly). I suppose that effect is the 'laquered woods'. It doesn't remind me of any kind of actual wood or wooded scent in fragrances I've ever come upon so maybe this is suggesting furniture shellac or fresh pleather which is not a scent I detect, but much closer concept than anything else. Since most people these days read anything with depth as 'fire, smoke' (nothing like actual fires, smoke, incense, woods, etc) I am sure we're going to hear a lot about how 'smokey' this is which couldn't be further from the composition. Overall reminiscent of hot car seats, dazzling cherry treats and trips to the county health department. Nostalgic for some I guess? Delightful to spritz all over and then repeat every 30 minutes chasing the first burst of fleeting fruit like a waning high. And appropriately as the day wears into night, find the remainder suggesting all manner of sultry, strange offerings.

This doesn't give lost cherry vibe at all to me. At first it's a sweet punch-flavor type cherry, not sharp and sour like lc. I don't really like this one. I would say it's more powdery than smokey. In general terms I wouldn't be able to find a place or time I feel like this would be a good scent to wear. Which is an odd thing for me to say because I will wear whatever whenever wherever.
