Dream Angel Eau de Parfum 2019

Soft, sweet, slightly musky vanilla scented white florals upon first spray, with a touch of marshmallow mixed in for good measure! Sweet, on the vine Jasmine is what grounds this flirty concoction - it's not indolic, heady, or abrasive. It's peaceful and ethereal, like taking a walk to the mailbox on a humid, spring, Floridian day! Don't let the white florals scare you; this is very much a sweet, girly, flirty scent! But she does have depth, and is far from boring:) There is something slightly zingy lingering after the initial spray; I detect pear, and slightly tart, darker berries! They're not sugary and juvenile - I'd call them thirst quenching! 5 - 10 minutes into drydown: Musky, tart berries wrapped in a smooth, cocooning vanilla appear. Nowhere in the life of this scent do you feel like you're visiting a dessert shop; the vanilla has depth, but it's not going to give you a cavity from lingering bits of crystallized sugar. Dark, muddled berries flirt with the sweet, innocent Jasmine bouquet in a sea of warm vanilla; this is your drydown! The berries become more tart, and the vanilla gains more sensuality and depth as the scent settles. It seems that we have the amber to thank for this happy ending! Also, I do not detect any woodiness. I do get hints of Love Spell, but please take this lightly! This scent has Victoria's Sceret DNA through and through, as if you took the best scents in the store and sprayed them all together (sounds awful, but it happened in my purse on accident and.....it was a happy accident!). The major negative here is the longevity isn't great. It does project well with 3 sprays on the skin for the first hour, maybe an hour and a half (sticks to clothes amazingly well, though!) You'll be able to smell yourself well, as well as others around you, for the first hour :) 2nd/3rd hour it's an intimate skin scent, but I promise you you'll be able to smell your clothes and yourself! Longevity: Weak - 1 hour of potency. It sticks around awhile, but weakens quickly. Projection: Moderate - I feel that due to the slight muskiness / amberyvanilla base the throw is VERY strong for that first hour! After that, its a skin scent. Sillage: Lovely scent trail if sprayed generously for the first 1-2 hours of wear! Like, take a bath in it and mist your clothes, in addition to atleast 3 sprays on your body :) To summarize: It's a lovely scent, and hard not to like! It's girly, sweet but not sickeningly sweet, fruity but not shallow and soulless like a boxed juice, and a hint of a youthful floral to please everyone! I feel pretty and put together wearing this, could definitely see Paris Hilton rocking it in the early 2000s! Would be much higher on my list if it lasted longer. I know this was a long one, but this juice surprised me in the best way possible, after multiple wears, and gets slightly more addicting each time! It has been discontinued, but I found mine during a semi annual sale - 1.7 oz for around $29.99 :)

Love! This is interesting to me. First, I adore the faceted rainbow bottle and the box. Second, the notes at the store were listed as jasmine and amber only. I was surprised how light and airy it smells out of the bottle. On first spray, it is almost nose-burningly sharp. Then, as it settles down, it seems "sparkling." The red berry notes dance around, hinting at strawberry or raspberry but it's hard to tell. The vanilla pops out, making this smell like a sparkling confection without being overly heavy or cloying. It doesn't have the heavy, almost-cloying white floral/cupcake aspect of Viva La Juicy Sucre. It kind of reminds me of a cross between Ariana Grande's Sweet Like Candy and Ariana Grande's Moonlight. Somehow Dream Angel has its own light. I have Bombshell Holiday 2019 (pomegranate, jasmine, birch) on my other wrist. If the comparison helps, Bombshell Holiday is smoother, not sharp at all, less sweet, slightly masculine, and almost... watery in character? It's good but I like Dream Angel better. ETA: I still like this but not feeling it as much anymore. My nose is getting spoiled by niche and other designers LOL

The first thing that comes to mind whenever I smell this is a Victoria's Secret Angel in white-and-gold robes. The body mist even has the prettiest shimmer, which makes the whole experience feel even more angelic. 🪽 I totally understand why people describe this as a woody vanilla. It's not a gourmand vanilla at all. Instead, it's a soft, elegant vanilla wrapped in smooth woods with sweet white florals. It leans more sophisticated, and to me it's the perfect balance of feminine, classy, and just a little bit sexy. I'd def wear this to work and meetings. It smells polished, professional, and put-together. It's one of those scents that makes you feel confident in a blazer or a crisp white blouse while still feeling soft and approachable. I actually bought the body mist because I couldn't find the EDP anywhere anymore—it has been discontinued, and it's almost impossible to come across now. Even the body mist I found had already expired in 2025, but I'm using it in 2026 and it still smells absolutely beautiful. I'm really glad I managed to get my hands on it before it disappeared completely <33

Very addicting, when I originally was going around VS and testing their perfumes for the first time this was the only one besides bombshell passion that stood out to me. I sprayed it on my arms and the rest of the day I was addicted to smelling it. Vanilla with slight florals and fruity berries, warm but also upbeat and youthful. The florals are really creamy and blended so it doesnt really come across as a overly floral scent. it smells super nice and addicting but is a great everyday perfume at the same time. It lasts pretty well on me, nothing amazing but not as bad as everyone is saying IMO. It has good projection and I can see it being great for winter and summer. It smelled better in the tester (that only had a very small amount left, the rest werent near as empty, maybe this one is more popular?) than it did straight out of the box when I first bought it. I think all perfumes when you first buy them need time to sit a bit to get rid of the alcohol smell when you first open it up. A lot of my perfumes smell better weeks after I bought and sprayed them for the first time.

I fell in love with this scent the first day I smelled it at Victoria secret. I remember buying the small spray bottle and went back the next day for the larger bottle and I’ve had it in my collection ever since. I love pairing it with the lotion, I bought the perfume as well but felt like the body spray lasted longer and smells better. This scent projects well and lasts a good 7 to 8 hours on me. This fragrance on me is a warm vanilla + amber with some berries and maybe white florals? I know this is going to sound weird but it always reminded me of a woman at the bar smoking cigarettes all night mixed with her favorite perfume, it just has that vibe to it. I also got lots of compliments from men when wearing it.

I bought this awhile back but didn't remember too much about it. I was going through my perfume collection and sprayed some on my arm and ohhhhh my goddddddd, it was BEAUTIFUL! I put on a nice dress and sprayed on some more on my shoulders and neck. The finely blended creaminess of the vanilla and flowery scent were sooo amazing on a new mexico hot desert summer day. The projection of the perfume is decent and would fit the profile of an elegant woman who is always put together but likes to relax on a yacht on her day off. My man loved it also and literally kept smelling my neck and giving me kisses. Will definitely wear this more <3 Edit: Finished my whole bottle and will be purchasing another, it's sooo good

This is one of my favorite fragrances Victoria’s Secret has to offer. It balances Jasmine and red berries in a lovely way that is very hard to do. This is my go-to at work, and customers do always mention I smell nice, which turns into a nice selling lead. It sticks very well, sinking into fabrics so you’ll smell it all day. It’s also one of VS’s stronger perfumes, if I wear it, I can smell it every time I turn my head. I’ve also gifted this to a few people, and their boyfriends always tend to thank me.

Feminine, sweet and warm. I think it's being discontinued which is a shame because this is one of Victoria's Secret's better perfumes. It's very versatile and can be worn for all occasions and year-round. It's pretty long lasting. I'd say about 6-7 hours and the sillage is moderate. All of the notes are well blended and it's just a beautiful, intoxicating scent. I keep sniffing my arm. :-) My only regret is not getting a bigger bottle.

It’s not often that I smell a fragrance and I’m just blown away. I like a lot of different types of fragrance, there’s not a lot I generally don’t like, but this is one of those “wow” ones. It just smells pretty. It is sweet but not too much, fruity, amber-y, it’s so good. My husband, who usually only says “that’s nice” when I ask him to smell, said he really enjoyed it. It’s a good one for every day wear as well.

ıt smells very expensive and long-lasting but sillage is not that much powerful or maybe I get used to it and cannot fell it.ıt stays 3 days on my clothes. in my skin, the most felt smell is a woody smell which makes it very dark and deep perfume. But also it contains some naive flower so that you still smell like a young lady rather than a powerful business woman

This doesn't smell anything like an Ariana Grande fragrance... at least to me. I don't get sugary sweetness from this like I would with Ari's fragrances. From this, I get a sexy jasmine-amber combo. Some might say that this is a "generic perfume" smell, but it's so beautiful. Highly recommend if you love jasmine. Works year-round for any occasion!

Fresh, fruity, sweet and pretty. Starts off strong with red berries (raspberries to my nose) and jasmine and then softens to warm vanilla and amber. A gourmand but surprisingly not cloying or a cheap floral like you'd expect from VS. Addicted at the first spray of it. I carry a little body spray in my purse now because it's such a lovely scent.

Dream angel is pretty, feminine and soft. The vanilla allows it to work well in Winter, and the jasmine and berries allow it to work well in Spring. It's casual enough for every day wear but also flirty and fun enough for a date. It only lasts about 90 minutes which is upsetting for the price.

It’s creamy vanilla + enticing berries with a touch of charming white florals 🤍 Dream Angel is my most complimented fragrance. You can get decent silage if you slightly overspray. So pretty and timeless. Boyfriends I had throughout the years always complimented this one 😅🙈

This Parfume was a blind purchase that paid off with the joyful experience of wearing this glow of love and rainbows surrounded me. My husband immediately grabbed me when he came home after smelling such joy in a bottle.

Hey, I've tried a bunch of vanilla fragrances, but they were all too juvenile for my taste. This one, however, has just the right amount of vanilla. Gave it away whose into sweet vanilla fragrances.

This perfume is amazing! Its youthful, sweet, fruity fresh and dries down to a jasmine vanilla cashmere scent. I tried it on at the store & an hour later went back and bought it!

this is my moms signature scent and its so comforting, i love it 💗 i know a lot of people dont like it but i think its a really sweet and flowery scent.

Y'all, it's on clearance on VS's website *crying face* the good news is the price but bad news is that it's going to be discontinued :'(

This smells like a mix of Thank U Next, Sweet Like Candy, and a hint of Cloud. It lasts really long too! About 5-6 hours on my skin.

I agree with the other reviewer that said vanilla cake - it's a nice gourmand vanilla cake scent baked with dark red berries (maybe cranberries and raspberries?) combined with amber, jasmine and woods. Imagine you're strolling deep through dark ambery woods and you come to an oven: baking inside is a rich berry vanilla cake. That's what this smells like lol It's a nice scent for any season - the summer heat illuminates it, the dark red berries and warm woods are comforting in the winter. I only have the rollerball (so I don't have the cute bottle☹️) but I've noticed it wears off rather quickly, at least in rollerball form.

I'm surprised by all the reviews saying that the longevity is non-existent. This perfume lasts 6 hours on me, easily! It's also a really nice gourmand scent that isn't too sweet, sugary, or cloying. The vanilla note adds a nice creaminess to the scent as well, so that it doesn't smell too bright or youthful. While I do enjoy this scent, it isn't really remarkable or unique, and I do think it is a bit light for me, personally. This would be a great starter perfume for a teenager, or for someone who likes gourmand scents that aren't sugar bombs.

This scent is so creamy. Definitely got the amber and vanilla notes but I don’t smell any Jasmine (for now). I did purchase this mist for my aunt but uh — i May have to err — maybe keep this one. 🥹 My only gripe is that this scent does not last at all. It lasts about 20mins. Even for a mist, I’ve had some of VS mists that are strong and last way longer than this. I don’t mind the softness of it all, I just wish it lasted long. Maybe I’ll get the EDP if im lucky but I’ve read it’s been Discontinued?! ☹️ so that may be a problem.

This is the best Victoria's Secret perfume, in my opinion. I'm not usually a fan of amber vanilla scents, but it's definitely more fruity and floral than the notes would lead you to believe. A lot of Victoria's Secret smell the same to me, kind of sickly sweet in a way that just smells like the mall, but this one is probably their most complex. Of course, being VS, it's not a particularly mature scent, but IMO it's a good option if you're a family member looking for a blind buy fragrance for a teenage girl relative.

i’ve bought rollerball version of this perfume . im more fan of sweet vanilla scented perfumes , not really into floral scents but i liked this one personally. personally at first when u put it, it gives more jasmine-white floral but when u let it set on ur skin u can smell vanilla- amber notes

🌸This smells almost exactly like CAN CAN by Paris Hilton but better. It smells like fruity, but powdery sweet tarts on me. I have been buying lots of VS roller balls lately and so far they all smell wonderful. This one is more youthful and fun than sexy, but I adore it 🌸

This smells like vanilla cake with floral notes in it. It smells almost gourmand and it has a natural sweetness to it. I can see this fragrance being used everyday, all year around. If i smelled this on someone i wouldnt think they were wearing perfume.

If somebody asked me to imagine a stereotypical perfume scent, this is what I’d think of. Very safe for any situation but that comes with being a very boring and forgettable scent. Still nice, just nothing special.

I have a small body spray of this. I have really been enjoying the this vanillic jasmin scent, don’t know what rainbow accord is but this is very nice little scent. I have also received compliments.

Unfortunately I blind bought this a few days before realizing that I sometimes don't like jasmine notes in perfumes lol. As much as I love a jasmine flower, in perfumes the note often takes over to my nose, and this is a prime example. I smell almost none of the vanilla and berries in this, nothing that could be described as sweet or fruity until it opens up a few hours later-- then it starts to smell quite nice and better balanced. Still, on me, this is a straight up white floral for most of its wear, albeit a light and pleasant one that leans "young" -- a rarity for white florals, imo. But I know I'll never wear a perfume that I only love after 3 hours lol, so I won't be keeping it.

Bright, citrusy, bergamot/grapefruit opening (very common in VS frags), followed by a sweet-tartness from the red berries, some florals (reads more generic floral than true jasmine), basic vanilla, and a little warmth from the amber. The florals fade the fastest .. I’d say the dry down is mostly vanilla and tart berries. Unfortunately, there’s a bit of a screechiness throughout the entire wear. (Again, common in VS frags to me.) As others have mentioned, it’s light and doesn’t last long. It feels very familiar ... It’s fine but not special. I’ll finish my rollerball but won’t be purchasing a full bottle.

It was ok. It's deeper and darker than Heavenly. I like the dry down more. I wasn't in love and got half way finished with it before I gave it to a friend. It was frustrating to use when I couldn't attach a sentimental emotion to it and the notes weren't making fall in love with it. It's very sweet and woody and mysterious and I think it reminds me of an Aries person lol.

I used to wear this in middle school and i remember overspraying and a teacher commented that someone was wearing too much perfume. My best freind instantly looked my way. Embarrassing... anyhow. Its alr. Not something crazy. Its kind of a dreamsickle like scent. Now I just use it to make other things slightly sweet. It is... very sweet. If you're into that.

Fun and fruity fresh! I get lots of tart strawberries and fruit punch, mixed with vanilla that's not overly sweet. A balanced mix of sweet and tart. I can see why people like this!

Exceedingly mid. It's like the perfume version of a polyester robe that's trying to look like silk, which seems right given the brand.

A fine enough fresh vanilla scent but too one dimensional in my opinion! Won't be repurchasing after my roller ball of this runs out.

my friend gifted me this in middle school, and I used to wear it all the time. not sure how, though, considering how i noticed the weird salty musk scent that ruins what could've been one of vs's best fragrances. i guess i just didn't pick it up as strongly as i do now.

I really, REALLY loved this when it was first released and it quickly became my go-to scent. It was so... heavenly. Light and sweet, perfect for every situation. The scent began to break down over the years and became an off-putting citrus bomb. Another disappointment from Victoria's Secret, as most of their fragrances seem to break down over time.

Either this is a very, very light scent, or I must be mostly anosmic to Dream Angel. I smell just a hint of muddled, jasmine-dominated white florals, then a very faint trace of sweetness, then it is gone. It is about 5 minutes before reaching an undetectable level. I tried Dream Angel several times each on clothes, hair, and skin, and the same occurred every time. It is like trying to smell something with a stuffy nose. Based on the reviews, I am likely just anosmic to whatever accords of which this fragrance is composed. Maybe this is another molecule-based fragrance like MFK Baccarat Rouge 540, Ariana Grande Cloud, or Bath & Body Works Kaleidoscope. I just read that a whopping 50% of Americans cannot smell the new type of synthetic musk the industry has been churning out. Might try Dream Angel again in the future to rule out nose fatigue.

Dream Angel is a very beautiful, soft pink, sweet, cozy fragrance. The initial opening spray smells like Ariana Grande THANK U NEXT (pink heart bottle) - but without the pickle juice note. Once it has dried down however, Dream Angel smells like a lighter version of VIVA LA JUICY by Juicy Couture. Dream Angel is a very faint fragrance, almost a skin scent, with a soft sillage that stays pretty close to the skin. UPDATE: Dream Angel also reminds me of Ralph Lauren BEYOND ROMANCE as well as Marc Jacobs DAISY LOVE EAU SO SWEET and Ariana Grande SWEET LIKE CANDY.

I have mixed feelings on this perfume. It smells really good in the air. You get mostly the vanilla and some amber. But when I spray it on my skin all I get is full blown jasmine and I’m not a fan. I don’t really get any berries. Take this review lightly if you love jasmine because my body chemistry does not do well with it. Overall it’s a good scent, I just wish it smelt better on me!

This smells heavenly indeed. initially, it didnt stay long. but funny enough as at today that am writing this review, I can say for a fact that it has really performed well. I sprayed in the morning around 7, topped it up around 9am and it is still smelling on me. I love it. Its saddens me that I have had this since 2019 and am now paying attention to it
