Fleur Elixir No. 07

I smell different notes come forward depending on the weather, and they include: Rose (primarily), Cassis, Strawberry, Caraway Seed, Celery Seed, Savary, Pepper, Hazelnut, Caramel, very light Cocoa, the green components of Mint without the menthol, Pineapple. This is masterful. I can't believe this is a VS fragrance, as they are usually all over the map in performance. I wish they created an Eau de Parfum of it. I spritz this from my nightstand to wake up every morning before I even open my eyes. My first few breaths are filled with gratitude for the beauty of this incredible blend. It smells like it was created by a distinguished European fragrance house, not a company in the same umbrella as Bath and Body Works. Did Victoria's Secret make a happy mistake releasing this? I received it as a gift, which I am more than shocked by. It has a sweet, gentle spice in the drydown, which reminds me of the softness of Aquolina Pink Sugar, Jean Marc Paris' Sexy Secret or his Femme Noir, Dior Rose N Roses, and maybe the gentle musk with much less of the syrupy sweetness of Lolita Lempicka's Sweet or So Sweet. If you like any of these, I recommend this. This is not a Powder Rose, nor a Rosewater scent. Not an Aquatic Rose. It feels warm without being potporri, because it still has a fresh green note, and some spices in the mix ground it without becoming a woodsy rose. It does very well in high humidity 70% or more. I prefer it in Fall, but I use it all year. The green notes emerge more in the summer. Spices emerge in winter. Sweet musky rose in spring and fall. *** Side note: DOES ANYONE KNOW WHO CREATED THIS!? I am a complete fan. I'd love to follow more of their work. What a nose they have! Please message me !!!!

At first whiff, pretty generic rose-floral scent with initial top notes of fruit; ie. strawberry and red berries. I believe the top note is pink pepper which gives it a very sweet and tart berry fruit kind of vibe. This is a light and fresh but strong scent for a VS perfume. At times reminiscent of PINK. The rose is in there but there is also an iris note which is much more full bodied. It's powdery as it progresses. The scent lingers sweetly and dries down to a warm musk. I also detected amber and vanilla but in small doses. This is very nice but nothing amazing or complex. I like to wear it when I can't think of anything else to wear and it's terribly casual for your every day errands. I would say that it has a slight formality so it may work on a semi formal clothing like to go to the movies dressed up nice. It's girly and youthful so definitely for the 18 to 20 crowd or anyone that likes these kind of innocent scents. Longevity is poor and lasts less than an hour or two. Sillage is good and can be detected by anyone around you. Just an ordinary fruity rose musk. I like it.
