Heavenly Eau de Parfum 2019

To me, this doesn't smell much different from the original. It's fresh, innocent, and pure smelling. Kathleen Lights describes it as a bridal perfume and I couldn't agree more. It's romantic and has musky, powdery, sweet yet floral vibes to it. It's ladylike but sexy. I get so many compliments on this, especially from the fellas lol. It's familiar and very feminine. I don't automatically see it as masculine but I see some people saying it could be a mens scent. I don't think so, but if a man had it on, I probably wouldn't be mad at it, since it is inviting and sexy. It's one of my favorite smells. And the bottle is really cute, looks like a vintage expensive perfume on your vanity or dresser. Great first date perfume ladies! Buy it when they have the sale, as it is pricey for a Victoria secret perfume. The body spray packs a punch too, so it would work to settle for that.

This is my personal favorite fragrance. I own a lot of perfume but I always find myself reaching for this. I've gone through countless bottles. I wear it day, night, all seasons, to work and on a date. Truly my perfect signature scent. I mainly smell the Peony and sandalwood, but white florals and vanilla are not far behind. The fruity opening described comes off as an orange-y smell when you first crack open a new bottle, but I wouldn't say it's a true note of this fragrance. It definitely disappears once you've used a bit of the juice. In general I love floral fragrances, unisex and aromatic scents. I haven't noticed a major change in the formulation over the years, this one still takes me to a happy, confident, sexy place. Definitely buy this during the year end sales to save some money!

I hate perfumes that just smell like, well, perfumes. When heavenly sets on my skin, it smells a lot more like a pleasant natural scent rather than an artificial scent which I appreciate. The sillage starts off very large, I sprayed it in my car and you could smell it EVERYWHERE even with the windows down, but after a few minutes it goes down very drastically, which is nice since I prefer more subtle scents. I really enjoy the powdery notes, which personally for me comes off very strong. I don’t smell many florals though which is a bit disappointing, but I don’t mind. My mom is NOT a fan of many perfumes as she is a very picky woman, but she loves this scent, especially on me. I feel like this is a very unique scent and very attractive.

musky, spicy, floral deliciousness... and boy, does it stick around! it may be the positive association i have with this fragrance but my goodness... heavenly is a perfect name for it. it dances the line of nearly androgynous in a most glorious way. a wonderful after the shower scent for me, as it reminds me of aftershave, or men's old spice with a dash of white floral. this is one i would've never picked out for myself, as my mother got it for me sometime between 2019-2020. <3 as it's sweetened over time, it just gets better and better. p.s. if you're not looking to drop 50+ dollars on this, consider avon's barbie eau de toilette. trust me on this!

I love this fragrance. I’ve loved it since I was pregnant with my beautiful daughter, 14 years ago. To me is smells cuddly, soft, feminine...with a hint of excitement. It’s the the smell of the first snowfall, or the butterflies of an upcoming event. Don’t get me wrong, I am enjoying this 2019 version, however, I love it least of any of the tweaks of this formula. This one is paradoxically oilier, yet soapier. The frothy, bubbly powdery notes are hidden behind stronger wood notes. I am disappointed because I really, really loved the 2014 edp and mine is all gone. I’m enjoying this, for sure, but I miss the heavier white musk.

I love this. I think it is a nice scent to wear to work. It is not too strong nor too light. I find this one to be a very versatile fragrance that is easily worn for everyday use and for a multitude of occasions. It works for all seasons and the cold or warmth will bring out the different notes. It is has a creamy, lightly sweet, lightly floral, soft vanilla, powdery, and a little bit of musk. Very sophisticated scent. There is this softness about it that makes it comforting, a little alluring, and sensual. Very grown-up sexy scent. I just love this. It truly is heavenly. I prefer it in the body mist.

I have loved this fragrance since it was launched when I was in college. Never bought a bottle until right before I got married as this is what I chose to wear on my wedding day. I just bought the newly launched bottle style. Smells good but I don’t believe the longevity as what it used to be but still not too bad. More like an eau de toilette than an eau de Parfum. For the price, you can afford to spray it liberally and the lotion and body spray are nice as well. The new bottle is gorgeous. I have one of each style and I think this is my favorite.

I own this and the previous version in the slim bottle. I always loved heavenly. Although there’s been many versions of it, I’m glad it’s stayed mostly the same. It’s a musky warm vanilla with a hint of freshness. It’s soft and pure. It almost reminds me of a baby shampoo or detergent. There’s this man in my life that means alot to me. He can be so funny but also a bit thick headed haha. He’s complained about other perfumes I’ve worn, but never this one. I always wear it when I’m with him and it will always remind me of him now. :)

I've got the body lotion and mist in sale. Is a vibe that i found it familiar, and after "memory" search, found out that lotion can be layered well with Chanel no. 5 EDT. By itself, the lotion fragrance is not very long lasting on my skin, but when added the No. 5 EDT, the end result is a 9 hours for the EDT. Same effect I got with the Classique EDT from JP Gautier and Tease body lotion from VS. Can be my skin chemistry, but so far is working. Always you have to keep an open mind, because sometimes you can find a winner combo.

People are too judgmental with this perfume. For me, I absolutely love it! On my skin it leaves a nice woodsy and floral soft finish. This was a blind buy and when it arrived I was a little disappointed because I don’t really like woodsy perfumes but THIS is phenomenal. I really like it. Also at first I thought it smells like a mens cologne or something but I judged her way too early! I really like it

I love heavenly, it's not a common scent, very clean in a creamy, slightly spicy, and soapy way, just beautiful. my brother says it could pass as a men's cologne, I don't agree but I see where he comes from, modern women perfumes are not usually woody and spicy, this combo of notes is way more common in men's cologne, as I said this isn't your generic women's perfume, it's elegant, fresh, and mature.

My signature scent! Everything I want in a perfume. It's soft, a bit powdery, warm with vanilla notes, and a bit musky. It's sophisticated in a youthful way, though it doesn't have much projection, (which I happen to like!) I'm also surprised that people find the longevity to be poor; I can smell it on me for hours!

i got this scent back in 2021 and i wish I had gotten more, the new 2023 version is missing some of the soft florals this version of heavenly has. I have the new version and been trying to pair it with vanilla scents to try to make up for the lost sweetness, mayb one day i'll get another full bottle of this vers!

Take me back to 2009! I'm so happy this fragrance is back, I was heart-broken when it was discontinued. The formula is almost exactly like the previous one. Feels so elegant and dainty. A scent you should wear with a pearl necklace and a pink ribbon on your hair.

Finally, I got a rollerball of Heavenly 2019 Eau de Parfum. This smells to me almost the same like version in yellow ombre box with the sparklies. It's so beautiful, clean and fresh, with right amount of powder, perfect for summer. Definitely it's worth to try :)

A little less sweet than the scent I remember, but so soft, creamy, intimate and intriguing.

Found this for a cheap price. I tested the newest bottle (2023) version in-store, as apparently the vanilla-spice-sandalwood combo is somewhat similar to Old Spice Hawkridge antiperspirant. Heavenly is not the same and hard to describe for me. It is certainly powdery, soft, clean, semi spicy, but not sweet at all to me. It has a soft sense of comfort , but I think I would layer it with a sweet, plain vanilla to enhance it. To be frank, this acquisition is more for the faceted bottle than anything. ETA: Never opened it. Going to return it to someone who will use it. Pick up this bottle while you can, if you like it

This is an odd one. I had the previous formulation back when it first came out. I bought it because of fond memories of a powdery, musky, floral, woody, cozy scent. The initial blast is nothing like I remember...it actually smelled like a vetiver/citrus unisex freshie. GIVE IT TIME. Once it settles down, it becomes all of the things i remember. It sits close to the skin and I use more sprays than I would usually due to its lack of sillage and longevity. No regrets re-purchasing, though. I'm glad I gave it a chance! Affordable.

I got a rollerball of this for Christmas. It lists the notes as gold musk, sandalwood, vanilla, and white peony. I mostly get a light musk and floral; it's a very inoffensive scent and even my mom who doesn't really like perfumes appreciates it. It's similar to Philosophy Amazing Grace or Pure Grace in that it's a clean, almost soapy musk grounded with sandalwood. A very nice cozy scent; I wear it to bed sometimes. Decent lasting power, stays fairly close to my skin but I feel like it would be more noticeable as a spray.

Bought for nostalgia; I remember giving this set to my mom in the 90s so that's what the scent evokes for me. It's soft, musky, a little powdery but from sandalwood and musk, not purple flowers. I've not reached for it once, even though it's a categorically easy reach. Someone on TikTok said it smells like ginger-ale, and I don't think it does but for some reason, now I have this weird association. It reminds me of flat ginger-ale, not the way it smells, but the way it makes me feel. Hmm...

This fragrance is very intricate. Either you like it or you don’t. I like it, It’s sharp, woody, crisp and fresh (which is why I consider it unisex, leaning towards the feminine side). It’s clean and mature, not that teens or 20-somethings can’t wear it, but I doubt this will be their first pick. Out of all the Victoria Secret fragrances, this one is top 3 for performances. If you like grown & crisp/cool scents, this should be in your consideration pile

It is straight baby powder. A more sophisticated ‘Loves Baby Soft’. It’s my nostalgia scent, and was my wedding perfume. Just don’t pull this one out a lot.

Really nice smell. Kinda smells like peanuts, not in scent, but the way it leaves a trace.

I knew this scent was reformulated but i didnt realized just how much. I remember smelling it years ago and it was sweeter and more powdery. Now, its very very light softly powdery musk-vanilla is very faint so its not very sweet at all. Projection is minimal and I have edp. I think this is a good scent if you like very light fragrances or can't wear heavy perfumes to work etc. My husband said it smelled like soap lol I don't find it very soapy but I think its has that "clean " feeling so perhaps thats what he was thinking. Bottle is gorgeous, but Its way too light for my taste. I really wish it was stronger

Smells nothing like the original. I should’ve known better.

I loved the body spray version of this so i bought the EDP version and hated it. it smells much stronger so the mature notes came out way more, its very smothering and almost cough syrup like. kinda smells like cologne in a weird unmistakably feminine way at the same time (which i enjoy). not a fan but this could possibly work on an older woman. like much older. definitely not a blind buy.

This scent smells almost exactly like baby powder to me. I dont exactly enjoy it but it smells quite powdery, clean, and natural so i think itd be great to layer with another floral based fragrance to tone it down a bit. I can see why people would enjoy this fragrance but i personally dont feel like it works for me.

I liked this the first time I smelled it, then it started smelling like soap to me after a little while of owning it. Think I will give this one away to someone I know who *really* likes it. I just don't see the appeal in smelling completely like a regular bar of soap, not even a nice soap bar.

It is like a 90' s musky perfume. Its headache inducing. No sweetness, no peony detecting. I thought it will be a modern musk.

Not the same Dreams Angel Heavenly I used to love. The new Heavenly is totally different, giving me a headache!

NOPE NOPE NOPE!!! I have the original Dream Angel's Heavenly and wanted to get a bigger bottle so I smelled it in the stores this past weekend. The top and middle notes are very similar to the original Heavenly, but the dry down is very masculine. It smelled like aftershave, so I'm super disappointed. I'm off to search eBay for the previous formulations.

Reminds me of Fabreeze in a cleaning product sort of way, not like fresh laundry.

I see here that a couple of people said they smell cardamom and I have to agree with them. Even in the description above it says, “It opens with a hint of effervescent fruits.” Cardamom has been described as being effervescent with hints of lemon. From there florals come in followed close behind by sandalwood with hints of vanilla and musk. At this point is when it becomes slightly powdery. This is not very sweet and can be considered more of a skin scent than anything else. For this reason, I think this can be worn year round anytime, anywhere, for any occasion. One reviewer said she used it as her wedding scent and I can see that. It does have a romantic quality to it and would also be great to wear for a date. You will need to overspray just a bit to get some sillage since this is a skin scent. It can be used daily too for work, meeting friends for lunch, running errands, relaxing around the house, or even as a bedtime scent. It can be that versatile. Longevity is decent. I sprayed this on before going to sleep. When I woke up, it was still there. Results can vary here for a variety of reasons so best to test it out to see how it wears on you. This does reminds me of Emporio Armani Lei...a lot! I found Lei online a few years ago at a very good price and picked up a few bottles of it since Lei was being discontinued. Now that I’m running out, Lei has become more expensive and I’m looking seriously at Heavenly for its replacement. They’re not exactly the same, but very close.

I love this! I don’t know if I’m just going through a phase or what, but every time I am wearing a different perfume I wish it was heavenly lol. It’s almost like an aromatherapy type of thing to me. The mist is way better than the perfume in my opinion, they last about the same amount of time but the mist is more feminine and doesn’t have as much of a sharp opening as the edp. I know the notes say peony and sandalwood and I can definitely smell the sandalwood but to me it smells like lavender and vanilla powder. It’s not very sweet and I think it’s an equally cool and warm type of scent. I also smell cardamom which isn’t in the notes for this newer version but I can definitely smell it. I really like it, it smells pretty. I can see how people think this smells mature or masculine, the edp smells like Barbasol shaving cream when you first spray it which is sort of unpleasant, that’s why I like the mist more. My favorite way to apply this fragrance in the edp form is to spray it on a wooden hairbrush and brush my hair with it, it lingers all day; It’s beautiful and not overpowering it also helps with the weird masculine opening. Longevity and sillage is amazing. I think this works for all ages, I’m 17 and I like it, I don’t think it’s too mature for me, and I wouldn’t mind smelling this on my mom or anyone older than me :)

This smells like the formula from 2013ish (the Dream Angels Heavenly with the pleated white box; lowercase, bold, non-italic "heavenly" on box and bottle), but it fades super fast. It does not reek of alcohol like the 2014 formula. It smells great, for a few minutes; sadly, the longevity on this 2019 formula is very poor. Dream Angels Heavenly is a staple in my collection, if not my signature fragrance. I own several bottles of each formula made, and I have reviewed them all in-depth. This 2019 scent itself is nice and better than the previous version launched in 2014, but it just doesn't last more than half an hour. Like the reviewer before me stated, it is more like an EDT or body mist rather than EDP. The 2019 description above mentions notes that aren't in the previous formulas ("fruits", "gold" musk rather than white musk, "bourbon vanilla" rather than plain vanilla, etc.) VS has a new habit of listing outrageous-sounding notes & accords in some of their fragrances rather than the real ones... like "rainbows", "California sun", "pop music", and so on. It's all just marketing. I can't attest or contest any of the new Heavenly notes, except to say there aren't any "fruits" (there is a tiny bit of mandarin only in the original formulas).

Comparing the OG formula (tall skinny bottle with the white heart cap), against the newest release (available now in VS stores): OG: - cardamom takes center stage throughout, and mimics somewhat of a subtle saffron or curry edge; makes it feel like something to wear on a chilly fall night - the other notes are blended so perfectly that it's hard to tell what else is in the background other than something soapy, musky, powdery, "cashmeran", and cozy - all notes remain present during wear CURRENT: - no cardamom is present, which is the biggest difference; this takes off the "spicy" edge and leaves the fragrance feeling only clean, soapy, fresh with a subtle, sweet musk in the background - smells like a "sexy soapy" fragrance - suitable for wear anywhere, any time of year, any time of day or night - if you love "lactonic baby wipe" fragrances, you'll love this FINAL VERDICT: - while I do love the OG formula, I actually prefer the current over the OG - OG's spice feels too intimate to me for something casual, and also seems like it wouldn't work as well for spring/summer - OG's spice does give it a special, unique, and alluring feel, that would be perfect for special occasions

I smell warm bread dough rising, with a touch of creamy old fashioned oats, Madagascar vanilla (my favorite vanilla), nutmeg... It's one of my favorites among my (embarrassingly excessive) frag collection. For reference, some other favorites of mine are: Cherry Delight by Be Layered Gucci Envy Me Marc Jacob's Daisy edp and Daisy Twinkle edp Tommy Girl Calvin Klein Euphoria Molinard Figue Molinari Violette Heavenly smells so scrumptious to my nose! Longevity, projection, sillage...all poor sadly. But I carry a mini body mist and an edp rollerball for a touch up on days I wear it.

Wow. Stunning. A real class act. I remember an older version of this that was always hanging around in my mom or sister's bathroom and I'd use it when I went home to visit when I was in college in the early 2000s. While my memory of that old bottle isn't perfect, when I smelled the current version of it I was immediately brought back to that time, so to me it is very similar. It smells like warm cardamom. I think it's one of those that's timeless and ageless. I don't think anyone will associate it with teens or more mature women in particular, it's just a beautiful smell.

I just bought this for the first time, I've never smelled the original. This is nice & I have been enjoying it. I've been testing for 3 or so days and I think I like it best when layered with fresh white musk by body fantasies spray. It just gives it a little something extra. Then I came on here and noticed multiple reviewers who have tried the original saying they miss the musk so I'm sure the original was just perfect. It is soft & warm and feels like a cold weather scent I'll be gravitating towards!

I once smelled this on an older woman and I had to ask them. I immediately recognized the baby powder scent. It is less starchy baby powder and more scented feminine baby powder if you understand. It swept me back to the 90's. In a good way since the 80s-00s were some of the best decades. I dont like VS, never liked them and still dont, their sprays come off cheap and offensive most times....but this is lovely. I immediately purchased it and it smells absolutely delicious scrumptious delectable on me

I love this one! It's such a soothing calming comforting perfume. It's very simple and the musk is super gentle and soft. It smells fresh and clean but very cozy, warm and comforting at the same time. The vanilla is very muted, but it's def there. I would not say this is a gourmand at all. The sandalwood is also soft and not sharp. It's a perfect creamy, soft vanilla floral. I think this is a great going to bed scent it really has a calming effect IMO.

I bought the new Heavenly Mist. I don’t like it at all. I understand the comparison to diapers that I once heard somewhere🙈 Of course it might work well for some people :-) But I really don’t like the smell, I tried to like it, but it’s a no. It also stays mostly the same during the drydown. I will try to sell it.

my daughter started wearing this and i fell in love. Why? Because for SOME reason - even though notes do not line up - it smells very similar to Naturally Fierce by Abercrombie and Fitch. Which I LOVE.

A really lovely sweet floral feminine scent 😍 quite delicate with gorgeous heavenly aura of fragranced gardens with the lotus to give a touch of aquatic freshness! Divine!!
