Island Rush

(Ill try to give as detailed description of this as i can). At the very start it literally smells like a nice pina colada, you can really feel that pineapple scent in there. I saw some comments saying that its a sickening pineapple scent, but i dont really agree, although it could be kinda sickening if you are not into sweet scents because in my opinion its a pretty sweet pineapple, tho a bit sour too. Although on my skin and on my clothes the pina colada and pineapple scent kinda goes away, and all you can feel then is that light coconut. I saw some reviews saying that this smells like heavy creamy coconut, but to me its more of a light coconut, not heavy and i wouldnt say its very creamy. To my nose the coconut in this is almost the same as Coconut Passion. The scent of this mist on my clothes or skin smells really similar to Coconut Passion but it makes sense i guess cuz Coconut Passion is a beachy scent too, tho weird how no one else has noticed the similarity to Coconut Passion in this (maybe im the only one). Overall i personally really enjoy this, it does smell like a pina colada, i believe this would be a perfect room spray too. Its very very light tho, i think pretty perfect for summer, and since its very light i can say that its not sickening in any way and its just really a fresh, kinda juicy scent with more of a warm aftertone to it. Its a really nice blend, i would say its deffinetly worth it! Just that it doesnt really last long.

Along with Coastal Bliss (pink one), Island Rush is a great performer. It lasts over 7 hrs on my skin. A gourmand floral, it opens with delicious pina colada. There is a distinct citrus note in the opening that is very short-lived. The drydown is creamy sweet coconut and white floral. As time passes, more of the tiare comes out. I never detect woody base notes. It is a great floral for gourmand lovers! If I spray too much, I go noseblind but others can smell it on me. It can be a bit cloying in the heat from the sweetness. If you want more citrus opening, try layering with the Pineapple Shea mist too. I honestly think it is a little redundant with Coastal Bliss as they're both creamy, sweet scents. Coastal Bliss is much more fruity and lactonic, and Island Rush is distinctly floral in the drydown with a denser creaminess.

this smells to me like a pineapple, but I have asked some other people that have said it smells nothing like pineapple, the package says it smells like coconut and everyone I have asked are saying it is definitely coconut, but for me it is only pineapple. anyway, for person that hates both pineapple and coconut, I kind of like it because it is also diving sweet notes.

This smells like a pina colada when you first spray it. but as it dries down you are left with a very similar coconut to Sol de Janeiro cheirosa 39 (cococabana). Island rush might feel a tad fruitier but it's the same coconut, wich is unfortunate as it's not my favorite interpretation of coconut. I do think I prefer the scent of Island rush over cococabana.

The dry down smells exactly like coco paradise by bath and body works

this opens with an almost cleaner-like (unlisted) pineapple note that i lowkey cannot stand. sometimes it smells like a pina colada candy but other times i get that cleaner smell and i just don't vibe with it. luckily it fades for the most part in the drydown to just a woody floral coconut (with just sweet rather than sharp pina colada touches) that reminds me a little bit of synthetic pineapple + coco paradise from bath and body works, which i also didn't love. overall, this was pretty disappointing tbh just bc it was hyped by reviewers and it's just a like, not a love for me. it performs and lasts surprisingly well for a summer fragrance though, and i could see this potentially growing on me with some layering experimentation.

Headache-inducing type of coconut fragrance.
