Lost In A Daydream

I love this fragrance - it's definite apple and hazelnut. Perfect for fall. Fruity but warm, nutty and woodsy. Slightly gourmand and slightly mystical. Reminds me of a recipe I saw (and plan to make) for Apple Hazelnut autumn muffins. It's the first fragrance I tried with hazelnut and I loved it so much more than I was expecting. The longevity (on me, at least) unfortunately isn't as good as Harvest Moon Gaze, another scent in the same collection. If you enjoy hazelnut, VS also came out with "Merry Mocha" for winter (which isn't in the database) and is described as a caramel drizzle and smoked hazelnut scent. To me it's the winter version of Lost in a Daydream and I love both of them and would recommend both.

The FFM starts with fresh, crisp balance of apple and roasted hazelnut. I do not like Apple scents at all, but this one is very lovely, autumny without being overpowered or piercing. The apple fades into a sweet but fresh and crisp scent with hints of praline and the roasted hazelnut becomes creamy, but still fresh. It's a very fresh, autumn air like scent. I got many compliments for it. Really unique and by far my most favourite VS scent.

This is the best body Mist I have ever smelt in my life. It's fresh, clean, refreshingly sweet and crispy, a lovely sparkling scent. Picture having a brisk shower on an autumn morning, outside its a bit chilly but sunny, that's exactly how lost in a Daydream smells like. I absolutely adore it!

I’m so glad I picked this up (had to buy online as my store has ran out). I fell in love with this as soon as it smelled it. This is such a fresh, light, airy fragrance and the hints of the apple (which is not artificial either) make it a very refreshing scent. When combined with the nutty, almost creamy hazelnut makes it sweet but not too sickly. I would recommend this mist for all seasons as the apple makes it a more summery/spring scent but mixed with the nut notes, gives it the autumnal winter mist that works very well during the morning and day time. It doesn’t last on me as long as other scents from VS, but I am glad to have added it to my collection which is a bit of a downside as i feel like I have to overspray it - also struggle to find any lotions/perfumes to layer it with? Any recommendations. Overall really nice mist :)

The opening is fruity sweet scent like apple gummies or apple jelly but over time, it similar to the last scent of Velvet Petals. It's yummy little sweet scent of nuts.

What a shame, I really wanted to like this one. Whenever I spray it, something in it is quite suffocating/powdery... making me cough.
