Love Me

There is nothing like Love Me and I have tried countless of perfumes and mists. The closest to it at this point would be Dossier's Marshmallow, its white floral bubblegum sweet part much lighter tho and minus its marshmallow candy sweet part. Another in this bubblegum or marshmallow indolic white floral genre, but more milky by the milk-cacao notes and more bubblegum-like from the tuberose/jasmine blend, almost to the point of being almondy from its ambrette seed and tonka notes, is Blanche Bête by Liquides Imaginaires or DUA Milkylicious. Love Me was an underrated pioneer to me in the pure indolic white floral genre. The neroli is a citrusy note - nero means water in Greek, maybe it has to do with its name who knows.. and it has a honeysuckle sweetness at times and so it lends its much-needed citrusy freshness and bubblegum sweetness here so dreamy and dewy and pairs well with the heady pure scent of narcissus. My nose didn't trick me once again because Floral Marshmallow's dewy white floral ambery part, the neroli-honeysuckle with its bubblegum sweetness, reminded me of VS Love Me's white floral amber sweetness and indeed Love Me also has amber and neroli too, but it lacks the intense candy marshmallow scent of Floral Marshmallow. Love Me is deeper, far more floral and bolder than Floral Marshmallow. Love Me was the first perfume I smelled to have this amazing almost almondy bubblegum-like floral sweetness. Prada Candy Kiss was the second. Floral Marshmallow after 4-5 hours on the skin smells quite similar to Love Me, but Love Me is more ethereal yet deeper, dewy and heady. Love Me is a one-of-a-kind perfume with nothing like it and sadly discontinued. Nothing can replace Love Me, but Floral Marshmallow has the bubblegum indolic white floral element of Love Me and it's just a more gourmand marshmallow version of Love Me. Love Me's characteristic was its ethereal dewy, but bubblegum-sweet white floral vein and the saddest part about it is once I left it in the bottle for too long, it disappeared from the bottle, even if I transferred it to other bottles, it simply evaporated from there too so I have to keep the bottle tightly closed. I hope paradise has this scent in a bottle stored for me.

Well shoot, this was another VS fragrance that made me do a double-take. The first time I sprayed this on my skin I loathed it, I mean, hated it intensely! I tried and tried to scrub it off before I got a worse migraine than had already set in. And folks I don't generally have issues with migraines and perfumesm(my migraines are stress induced). I have over 200 perfumes in various genres, so clearly I'm not picky. Well Monday there was a sale on rollerballs, 3 for $30 and I had a coupon. Well, I own every perfume that VS currently offers aside from the 3 I purchased that night and Rapture (I dig this fragrance it's just super seasonal to me),and the original Angel (smells too similar to Coach Poppy which I already own) so I was kind of limited on choices. I went with Love Me More, Scandalous and Love Me just to fill out the 3. I wore Love Me today. It started out with a hit of the narcissus, which I both liked and hated. From there it seemed pleasant enough but a bit generic. A few hours later though she morphed. I turned my head and caught a glorious sweet, almost marshmallow like aroma wafting from my hair. I was so impressed! And it lasted and lasted. Long story short, I must have already had a migraine starting the first time I tried this delight. I am notorious for hating a perfume the first time I smell it and then, like a fool, trying it again only to fall in love. Love me is unique and warm with a gourmand surprise a few hours in!

Now THATS sexy! Only 3 notes for such an amazing scent? VS has stepped up their game. Havent bought a VS perfume since 09 and with this one they convinced me to invest in a bottle. I haven't smelled anything more amazing than this. As time passes by it gets better and better on my skin, every stage of this perfume is beautiful. Im a lover of white flowers, I honestly cant pick any notes, I treat this perfume as awhole. First time I smelled it I was in love. Update: This has been one of my very few real favorite scents because of how unique it is. Its my number one date scent, if I want to smell divine. There is nothing like it, just like Rihanna's Kiss is also a very unique scent with no equivalent. If I were to go to paradise I'd wish that I take Love Me with me, a scent like this suits an angel no joke. It really smells like a garden in paradise would smell.

I'm so happy with this one. I was super tired with all of them smelling the same but this one is generally different it's not all super sweet and fruity as the others have been. At first it's semi intense and strong but then calms into a somewhat berry wood smell with a your skin but better smell. It also had this indescribable grape smell. Not the artificial but the grape fruit and somewhat of a cherry tree leaves. Fabulous. I also advise you to try their other love me products like the spray and lotion. They both are so different. The spray is more sweet and semi intense and the n the lotion is very fruit like and sweet.

I have this but the body mist. I fell in LOVE! This is sweet, warm but fresh at the same time. Mood lifting and just nice! Such a basic scent but with a little sexy spark in it. I bought two full bottles straight up! As I would take this whenever I go to the gym, sweet and yummy scent! I dont like the perfume, I hate the bottle. For perfume, I would rather go and spend my money for something more sophisticated like Flowerbomb or Prada candy. But the body mist...... YES.

At first Love Me reminded me very much of Noir Tease, but once the initial sweetness calms I smell a truly lovely, feminine, slightly floral fragrance that I really like. I can't pick out neroli clearly, which disappoints me a bit since I love neroli, so I am thinking the daffodil must be the dominant floral note on my skin... Kind of clean, but still warm. It's not much of a departure from their other fragrances, but it's really nice. I would happily wear this.

This is stunning. I did not expect something so wonderful from victoria secret. I could not stop smelling my wrist after this. First off I find the bottle very cute but the scent is even more lovely. It is the perfect amount of sweet with a sexy amber. The floral notes keep it fresh but still it is very warm. I really want this but for now it is too expensive. I will keep my eye on it during sales.

I previewed this a few days ago and fell in love with it, and I just bought a bottle today. At first, it's sweet, but once it dries down it's very lovely as it mingles with my body chemistry. It's light and stays close to my skin. I feel young and happy when I wear it.

Very warm and lovely scent. At first, I felt like smell a tea's scent, and then it turn out that it was honey. I feel like drinking a honey tea when wearing this perfume. Anyway, only in my little imagination I smelled ginger on it.

I love this scent so much! The neroli reminds me of the incense I would burn as a teenager.

I broke down and bought another of this when VS had their perfumes for only $25 a bottle before Christmas. I just opened it, and this time my sprayer works. Yay! I really love the smell of this, and unlike a lot of VS perfumes, it has pretty decent longevity. The sillage is decent too, as I sprayed hours ago, and can still smell it. I find it to be somewhat unique smelling, and I like it for that reason. I smelled the flanker of this, Love Me More, and I definitely prefer this original due to it's uniqueness. I still wish it didn't have the bulb atomizer, as they tend to break, and I also think the perfumes tend to evaporate out. I have another VS perfume with this same sprayer, and I'd barely used it, but it's one quarter gone now. I suggest if you don't wear it often, to take the atomizer out, and replace it with the travel cap that came with it(I have to hunt mine up, and hope I saved it). This latest perfume, Love Me, didn't come with the travel cap, so evaporation is a worry.

My husband got me this as a surprise, and it was a surprise all right, as the sprayer does not work at all! I've had decent luck with these VS sprayers in the past, but was always worried because I've read a lot of reviews of people that have had issues with them. Mine wouldn't work right out of the box, and all my fussing with it only produces a couple sprays, then even that stopped. Now, I'm familiar with how you have to twist the top, as these sprayers generally have an on/off type twist top, but mine is just clearly defective. I do really like the perfume, but my bottle is going back to the store, and I'll test the next bottle before I walk out with it.

I remember when this came out in 2015. I LOVED it at the time and found it so intoxicating. In 2021 I bought a bottle from the SAS, and I revisited it. It was what I remembered, but I had grown up a bit. It’s a very simple fragrance imo. There’s a leather note, a spicy-sweetness and a floral in the mix. It’s a bit damp smelling to me, like someone sprayed perfume on a leather jacket and sat in the rain. I like to wear it only at night, or only to the club. I don’t wear it often but when I do, it moves with the night. I really like it still, but it’s nothing revolutionary to me anymore.

Smelt this is the store the other day.. smelt really good so I spritz some on my arm.. I have NO idea why but i smell anise in here and its not even in the composition... almost smells similar to Loverdose on my skin... so weird. Love it still.. could be used for layering, LOVE the mist, very strong and can bring it with on the go!

I really enjoy this perfume, it reminds me a lot of Loverdose but softer, sweeter, and more sensual. Unfortunately for me it sits very close to the skin and only lasts about 2 hours- it's like a fleeting dream. :) Love the smell but am disappointed with its longevity.

Sexy and lovely! Feminine, yet slightly edgy. The amber isn't heavy, just warm and lovely.

Picked this up today from the VS semi annual sale, 50ml for $15 I sprayed & tested so much perfume that when it was this turn to spray, it didn’t wow me initially. It has a medicinal scent? Something about it turns me off.

On paper this is very similar to Armani Code however on my skin...just no. A couple of others have mentioned this phenomenon. The dry down has something going on that is not pleasing. It honestly remind me of acetone and that isn’t exactly what one goes for in wearing perfume. Zero projection but oddly it holds on to skin for dear life! Several scrubs with dish soap and I could still smell it up close for a couple of hours. The sprayer misbehaved too, the little notch wasn’t aligned / straight and it kept getting stuck in the downward position. If only it smelled as good on me as it does on paper. Maybe others will have better luck.

I bought this blind after reading about the notes and reviews, and also it was recommended by VS's scent finder. Unfortunately the initial smell is sugary, sickeningly sweet to me and just does not work. Good thing I went with the $18 rollerball.

I know most VS Perfumes are considered generic scents with poor longevity, BUT... This one is SO good. It truly smells amazing and has decent longevity and projection if you spray on both skin and clothes. It's a highly addictive, warm, sensual scent. My husband loves it on me. I actually really like the bottle aesthetically speaking. It gives my vanity a visual boost with the bottles retro/vintage vibe. I really have no complaints considering I scored the bottle at 65% off during their semi-annual sale. I was surprised to discover it only has 3 notes because it doesn't smell basic, boring or linear. It must cycle through the notes individually on me just perfectly or something because in the opening it's very floral, middle warms up and balances with neroli, and a hour or so into the dry down a beautiful honey drenched amber scent kicks in to sweeten it up further and add even more warmth and sex appeal. I like VERY FEW VS scents. And the few I do like, I don't even like to admit it. lol They're like my guilty pleasures in the same way that Juicy Couture Gold and original Juicy Couture are hidden in the back of my perfume cabinet. But this one really is a winner. I don't know that I'd pay the 68$ asking price for a 1.7 but it's CERTAINLY worth the 20-something bucks I paid for it. It's really nicely composed and if you were to "blind test" it without seeing the bottle or knowing the brand, you'd literally NEVER guess it to be a Victoria Secret scent. Even with the sugared amber note in it that I feel like they use a lot, you'd still never guess it VS because it's composition is just so different from their typical, boring, barely a bump up from body fantasies body spray scents. Try it. Really. I am not a perfume snob necessarily, but damn close. lol We will call it a sensitive/refined nose. And I dig it big time.

I sprayed this on my hand in store during the semi-annual sale (75% off), and thought the first spray was quite pleasant albeit super sweet, but as it was under $15, I grabbed it and checked out. About 30 minutes later, it turned on me. In the dry down it smelled like faint but stale cigarette smoke covered up by a laundry smell. By the time I got home an hour later, I had already decided I would return it. I asked my husband if he was getting the same thing. He said he didn't necessarily smell the cigarette smoke, but he did smell the laundry smell and that it was nothing special and kind of smelled cheap. It may be my skin-- although it seems like a fair amount of reviewers are getting an off note in the dry down, so it's probably a good idea to test this one before buying. The initial spray is great, but it's definitely not a keeper for me.

Sampled this one on paper, then left the store to go browse elsewhere. I kept taking the tester out of my pocket to sniff it, and each time, it smelled better. I went back to VS, purchased it, plus the fragranced cream. I have to say... after having it on my skin... it smells different. On paper, the floral notes pop out beautifully, more so the neroli. On my skin, I detect something sweet and gourmand. Like a burnt sugar or caramel, along with the floral notes that I like. I do not like this gourmand note! It ruins it for me. So far, I'm only using it at night after showering, hoping that this gourmand note grows on me. I have to say though... the fragrance cream feels nice. The bottle is quite small, but you don't need a lot. Leaves your skin silky... it just glides on due to all the silicones used in the ingredients. Feels quite lovely!

I am not a fan. I now know I definitely prefer fresh/clean smells as opposed to this, which smells to me nauseatingly sweet and spiced like potpourri. It reminds me of overly scented cleaners commonly used in elevators. It does not at all surprise me that this fragrance is composed of only three notes, it does not smell complex to me at all. Maybe this appeals to you, and I wouldn't mind if gym lockers or bathrooms had this smell, but it unless it really mixes well with your body chemistry and you like very heavy warm smells, I'd skip it. And I agree with the person who noted it smells very different on paper than on skin - I too am a fan of the smell it left on my paper.

VS is having a sale on their fragrance mists for $10, regularly $25, so I picked up 4. I had 3-$10 Secret Reward coupons to use and only paid $13.20. That's a savings of $94.80. It's really hard to determine scents at their store because of the sensory overload with all the people spraying left and right. I went into a little corner and smelled each test card carefully before choosing. When I got home, I was pleasantly surprised to smell the Neroli first, then the amber. I don't really like Narcissus but I don't smell any lingering scent of it. This kinda reminds me of L'Occitane's Jasmin & Bergamot. And if it behaves on my skin, it'll be a winner!

Just a little review to share that Victoria's Secret LOVE ME reminds me very much of PINK SUGAR SENSUAL. To my nose they both share that minty intoxicating vanilla tonka bean accord with a hint of black licorice - giving the scent that mysterious, nigh-time, coy, distant, uber-cool, IT-GIRL, vibe. I would also say it is almost a "distant cousin" of Britney Spears FANTASY, but without the cupcake note.

I got this perfume as a gift for my friend. And I loveeee it. The only 'real' perfume from VS that I got (fantasies series are not a real perfume in my opinion eventho it has the EDT version - and don't get me wrong I love those series) was Noir Tease. They are both sweet. But compared to Noir Tease, Love Me is less playful. It's more... mature and warm. It's still sexy though.

Starring the signature VS amber note they have been using for years. They had an amber based line back in the 90s and this reminds me of it, but it's softer for today's modern woman that's afraid to offend anyone. Almost an edible amber and I do like the bottle with the exception of another darn pouf atomizer. Come on Vic! Get it together.

Marvellous. I can't stop smelling my wrist but if only it stays on my skin.. Whenever I put on a Victoria's Secret perfume- yes even perfume, not edt- it just vaporize instantaneously! I don't know if this is just sales girl theory but but my skin doesn't match wit this perfume. Am I the only one suffering from this?

Wow this has a lot of good reviews! I smelled it in store and didn't really care for it (smelled musk) but I should of tried it on I guess because I LOVE amber... instead I went with Love Me More. Will give this another try some time (I have the mist of LMM).

Light fresh floral scent suitable for spring season.I am excited wear this perfume but love me had very poor longevity. Maybe Victoria secret must remake this scent with long lasting longevity.I am sure this perfume will be loved by everyone

To me, this is full of honey and amber, and maybe a touch of neroli. I don't wear it often, but in winter I find it sticks to the skin and wears a lot longer than in warmer weather. Very sweet and very warm.

Smells like honey and a light amber to me, gorgeous and fresh but has warmth too. Not a heavy fragrance but has nice lasting power.
