Mango Temptation

This is my favourite night-time fragrance. It's so calming and sweet and puts me in my happy place right away. I couldn't understand how mango might make me sleepy, but I realised later - it's the chamomile. It lends a beautiful sweetness to this concoction, making the tarty mango smell like candied mangoes - but not in a sickly sweet way; rather a mellow, fine manner. Absolutely love it! It needs about 2-3 sprays to give decent lasting & sillage. But it's still more sillage than most other body mists out there.

I've never tried the original version, so I'm not sure how this one may be different. Regardless, this is pure, fresh, light, mango-y goodness! The perfect scent for right out of the shower or a quick errand. I have this Herbal Essence Mango & Aloe leave-in that smells divine, and I've been searching for a matching fragrance ever since. This is the one - so happy!!

A simple fruity delight. This mango is ripe and juicy and leans away from gourmands without losing sweetness - chamomile and aloe ground it to be herbal, terpenic, humid, steamy. I love this after a shower on hot summer nights, whether at home or outside. A body spray classic.

Loud mango! ... thats all! You need to know that it isnt very sweet, is more on the bitter-sweet side, dont gent me wrong, its totally delicious! I love it. Fresh and clean for spring or summer! Wear it with the body lotion so it will last longer. (4-5 hours)

Another VS that I love!!! Other than Coconut Passion and Strawberry Champagne, this is a must have for my every day wear. I am living in tropical country so it is suitable to be sweet all day long. Sooo yummy! Feel like eating myself after I spritz it!

This mist smells soooo good. Really smells like mango. It smells fresh, så it's like i get a boost when i wear it haha. It doesn't stay very long but if you have it with you in your handbag or something like that, this can be fixed ;)

Pure, sweet, tart, summer mango! I don't know about this aloe vera, hibiscus, chammomile stuff, cuz all I get is yummy ripe juicy mango, and lots of it! Perfect for summer, and lots of skin spritzed with this bright summer scent.

SUPER SUPER delicious and fruity, this scent smells so yummy almost makes me want to drink the entire bottle, perfect scent for the beach.

Mango Temptation is a ripe, bright Mango juice... It is pretty linear, but in a good way. I honestly have no idea how hibiscus smells, so maybe it is there. But the Mango note is prevalent and is not synthetic at all. As I said it smells ripe and juicy, just like when you slice a mango... Lately, I ́ve been a lot into the magical meanings of scent notes thanks to an online artisanal perfumerie, and I found out that Mango increases male libido. And the Mango note in this one is deliciously sultry, ripe, yet sprightly and bright...so I guess it is a Mango Temptation after all.. Many VS fragrances tend to smell kind of synthetic, plasticky or just plain fake, but this one is spot on. Longevity is not great, but if you layer the body lotion with the fragrance spray, you'll get better results. If the EDT version of this ever comes out, I would definitely buy it.

smells nice! ..not my favorite though as the combination of notes resembles most of VS body mists and i find it too sweet for everyday use.. could be boring but i love spraying this on bed sheets. but recently, i gave it a try on one busy day at the office, surprisingly i got complimented on this 6x on that same day! i can't believe that both boys and girls, even our seniors would appreciate this lovely gem! they commended that it smells so girly and youthful. makes them feel delighted so i am too!! since then i stock up few more bottles. :)

Definitely a mango candy scent but later starts to smell like I put syrup on and it doesn't smell as good anymore. As long as I don't spray it all over my body then the scent won't be as sickening. This is a fun fruity scent for going out day and night. I am personally not a girl who loves strong feminine floral scents so as long as its sweet or fruity scented, I will wear it whenever I want. I usually spray a bit on my clothes for it to last longer throughout the day without needing to reapply.

This is nice...a cute cheap thrill. As much as I love eating mangoes, I normally do not like perfumes with mango notes. But I like this body mist. It's light, fresh and succulent...sweet but not cloying. Smells like a mango dreamsicle. Fun and perky. Not my favorite VS body spray, but I like wearing it around the house. It has good longevity too for a body spray. Puts a little smile on my face, it reminds me of summer evenings, beach parties and tropical smoothies.

A very fresh and zesty tropical escape, uncomplicated and delightful to the senses . Fruit lovers: this is indeed a Precious! I have been gifted the body spay while sick and though I was in a bleak space, this scent took me away to the Bahamas. It is not a meaty or heady mango but a bright and fizzy one. Thumbs up for a lovely scent that wears easily , lasts long and gets many compliments. It reminds me of NYC (but sweeter and fruitier) and Be Seduced. A love!

A singular mango note. Great for summer, for a light spritz of scent when its hot and you don't want anything overpowering. This is simple and sweet but not as sweet as I'd thought it would be. I think this would be a good one for layering, just because its so simple.

As a kid, my older sister used to have this and I loved it, so, I begged her for it. Imagine: juicy ripe mango, purple florals, and soap. ONE of my fave Victoria’s Secret body mists. However, after the age of 20, it kind of stopped hitting for me 😭

I really like it! smells so yummy, sweet and fresh. I don't expect it to last long, but it's feminine and not overwhelming on the skin, ideal to use on hot summery days or to refreshing at the office midday.

I love this so much :) its pure mango, so sweet and have gotten many compliments for this :) downside: lasts too little ... wish it lasted longer. but I still love it and Ill layer it with my body butter :)

Before i even smelled it i was for a long time afraid that it would smell to sweet, but now after smelling it, it smells perfect :) Just enough sweet and perfect for the warmer weather :)

SO GIRLY, SO FRUITY, SO SENSUAL. MY BOYFRIEND ALWAYS SAYS HE WANTS TO BITE ME AND EAT ME WHEN I SPRAY IT))) VERY CHILDISH, WHILE SEXY, REALLY TEMPTING. YOU MUST TRY IT AT LEAST ONCE!

So fruity! Tropical and fresh, hibiscus is well done here. The downside: it lasts so little...But I like it anyway.

Not for me personally, but if you're into fruity tropical scents then this is dead-on.

Mango and Aloe vera, simple and tropical!

I got another great deal that I just couldn't pass up even though it was a blind buy on this one. Based on the reviews before purchase, I honestly thought I would be getting this for a friend who is a super sweet fruity scent lover. To my surprise and as an absolutely NON fruity sweet person, there is quite a bit more going on with this fragrance imo. Expecting a sickly sweet scent, I was pleasantly surprised to find it very much muted down by the woody note, a hint of floral and instead of "sweet fruit", I get a hint of sour citrus instead (there is a sweet element but nowhere near what I expected based on notes and reviews). I do find this fragrance to have more depth than reviewed personally, not just on myself but on clothing and a whiff straight from the bottle even too. It also has a sexy, alluring feel and in the short time I have had it, I have received very nice compliments from both men and women. I feel the woody note is higher than what is said which seems to give it its sex appeal. With having a quickly growing collection, this likely will not be my first go to but it is a very nice fragrance all around; a perfect date night perfume that I know both my fiancé and I would enjoy.

Ok wow I have the fragrance mist. I really should have got the lotion too because it has poor staying power. I bought it last year because it was a limited edition and it looks like they added it to their permanent line. (Repackaged of course) It smells so much like mango and I love it. Normally I don't like fruity florals but this one is fun. Sweet like fruit but not sickly sweet. When I smell this I think of Hawaii. Again staying power is almost non-existant by itself. (Please keep in mind I am reviewing the body spray. At this time they don't have an EDT) I would layer with lotion for lasting power.

I was completely obsessed with this back in high school, I couldn’t get enough of it! But now, it just doesn’t hit the same.

I blind bought this item online, and I was a little bit disappointed to find it smells nothing like real mangoes. Instead, it smells like a cheap mango scented air freshener. I thought the aloe would have been a nice addition to freshen it up a bit but I can't smell the aloe at all. If you're looking for the smell of a real fresh ripe juicy mango, this is not the way to go! It seems these companies can't capture the sweetness of mangoes without going to candy sweet.

my second review of this:i smelled this in a store and before i sprayed this on myself i had tried a lotion with mango and papaya that smells like heaven! and when i sprayed mango temptation it must have got mixed with this lotion...because when i got home and ordered 2 of them....it smelled nothing like when i smelled in the store! so overall it smells like mango,and very warm, but it somehow reminds me of clean laundry wich i hate. i just want mango!

im in LOVE!!:D ive seen this so many times and was afraid that it would be sour...but today i smelled it in a store where i finally found lots of victoria secret bottles! and i was completly IN LOVE with Mango temptation. it smells so sweet.. so tropical so fresh so fruity. not to heavy,and not too light its so perfect!! i have to buy this!

If you like this scent, make sure you buy it soon because this scent (as well as strawberries & champagne, pear glace and be seduced) will be discontinued and at the semi annual sale (JUNE 12). I work at VS so I just wanted to tell everyone now :) UPDATE: This will NOT be discontinued!

This scent is so sour for me and I hate it. A lot of people like this scent and I understand why but on me, the scent turns really sour and nasty on me :( It's also disgusting to me when sprayed in the air. Unfornately, my coworker loves this stuff and sprays it everyday :(

This is way too sour for me, smells more like passionfruit than mango... This is "sweet & sour". It kind of sparkles, like a freshly poured soda in a glass. In Sweden we have a soda that`s called "Apotekarnes Passionsfrukt", this body spray smells just like that soda.

This smells a little too fruity for me. I'm not a really big fan of fruity fragrances. And it doesn't last long at all. :/

It's too sour for my taste, so I don't like it. It also has weak longevity :(

Again i will say the same thing i said when i reviewed Miami Glow (Jennifer Lopez). Mango Temptation smells tropical and is indeed a summer fragrance, but not for every summer. I live in Brazil, at the coast, and our summer is REALLY hot, with temperatures boarding 38oC, sometimes 40oC (something like 104oF). With that kind of heat, Mango Temptation becomes sickly sweet, overly fruity and totally cloying. Is probably made for cooler countries's summer. I bought this one thinking about summer, and almost choke when sprayed it all over my body. I tried spraying just a little a few times later, but nope. Could't stand it. But then, i tried this at winter, and at fall, and finally at spring, and this one turned out beautifully in all of those seasons, most on fall and spring. Is fruity and sweet, with that flirtatious vibe that reminds us of a Summer Cocktail at the beach. Reminds us of sun, laughter and drinking with friends while checking out hot bodies. Keeping in mind another VS Body Sprays i have (like Coconut Passion or Amber Romance), this one doesn't last that long (only a couple of hours, maybe 3), but projects quite nicely. Not a blind buy, really fruity (and i know some people don't like that). (also, i think the body lotion smells better, more creamy - for obvious reasons)

I have no eloquent, or amusing review for this. Just a simple statement of what it smells like: Juicy mangoes with a pound of sugar. Or, if Kool-Aid made a mango flavor, it would be an exact dupe for this. No flowers, no musk, no illuminating others (despite what the notes say), just mangoes and sugar. I like it, better yet, I more than like it. There's something about it that a *tad* bit too sweet and juvenile about it, but that same "it" is what keeps me wearing it. It makes me feel youthful, fun, carefree, and just a young lady on the go who doesn't take her fragrance too seriously. Sillage: 5/10. Wears loudly the first 5 minutes, then dries down to half of the sillage Lasting Power: 2/10. Lasts literally about 1 hour. On clothes, you'll get a solid 6 hours however. The EDTs for the new Garden Fantasies from VS is supposed to launch Spring of 2012, so I am hoping I'll get better lasting power from layering the EDT, the splash, and the body cream.

It starts out with a beautiful juicy mango and a hint of banana (not listed but definitely seems there!) - but dry down comes quick and unfortunately the mango seems to be overpowered by the aloe, which almost turns it into a cucumber-scented mist because of that. It also disappears within minutes. Not sure how previous releases compare, but this is one I'd skip. (This review is for the 2022 release of the "mini mist exploration set".)

This smells just like the discountinued Escada Rock in Rio , wich is great =) I do agree the staying power is poor compared to edt or edp , when I layer with the lotion the scent remains for 3-4 hours , so if you want a Rock in Rio dupe try this with the body products ( 5 for 30 on the website) it will be cheaper than the original Escada on ebay

I adore mango notes but i don't like how the Hibiscus overpowers the mango in this. The mango is there in the first spray and stays on for a couple of seconds and then the crisp hibiscus tone makes its way, this is a perfect perfume for a typical walk at the beach by 4 pm. Picture perfect if you have sliced mangoes and a hibiscus in your ear.

Very sweet and also a bit sour. I relate this to lust, sexy, night clubs in summer vacations near the beach... I think this formula works well with my skin because on me it lasts almost all day but with a very soft sillage. Sadly, I don't identify myself with fruity scents.

This has been discontinued !! but I managed to find it at a dicount store today I like it It smells like pure seduction but with fruity mango in it The frutiness of the mango tents to tam down the extra sweetness of the pure seduction base Perfect use for the gym

my friend used to bath in this scent when we were in highschool. she literally introduced me to the art of gatekeeping cause she would NEVER let anyone touch this but because of the scent association i have with this i can't wear any mango scents.

There are no notes of aloe vera or chamomile!! In ANY of the body sprays!! Those are just extracts used for skin softening, they don't have any smell to them in the body spray! XD

I love this one. I spray this one for a quick pick me up and I'm almost finished with the bottle. I love this one more than the other sprays and it's very fruity and pleasant.

I remember trying this a few years ago and really liking it. However, I tried the rollerball recently and didn't care for it. It's mango mixed with alcohol.

Ok/good mist but I dislike that it used to be so overrated - just like love spell. I don't consider this being one of the top best body mists by VS.

Compared to other VS body mists, this one seems overrated imo.
