Nightsip

on my skin, this smells like grand soir 15 seconds after spraying

I'm wearing this now and I really love this one. At my age, I should know what violets smell like, maybe this is it? My skin usually amplifies cedar notes in a not great way, but here I don't get a lot of cedar. There are two Victoria Secret body mists that I just really like, the other being Peony Amber. I think both of these that I like might have been "one and done" scents for them. I'd say Nightsip and Peony Amber appeal to me because they are more mature and perfume like than their normal fluffy or sweet smelling sprays they keep cranking out. I'll have to try more scents with violet in them.

There’s definitely a tad bit of a sweetness that I guess is the champagne note and the violet is more like a candied violet to my nose. Lots of cedar in the base and not a long lasting scent but would be great for layering. Nothing to write home about, just okay 🙂 **Editing to add that this smells similar to the VS fragrance mist that came out a few years ago called Orchid Santal I think it was in the green bottle. Almost smells very similar to that scent

This is a first impression review, so I may come back to change it after wearing it longer. Initial spray smells like candied violet sorbet by B&BW which I love. Then it turns into an old spice masculine bar soap scent. Then it dries down into a more woody scent. This smells way different in the cap vs on my skin. Please test it on your body! On my skin I’m getting lots of wood & pickle juice on the dry down. :(

it smells like a parma violet...I don’t smell any champagne or woodsy note. i still like it though. overall it’s a good scent, just maybe best for a teen / young adult!
