No1 Feathered Musk

WOW! This is the most beautiful and most unique VS perfume I have ever had the pleasure of smelling. An absolute stunner and apparently a compliment getter. I just recieved it today and picked it up from the P.O. on my way to the gym. I couldn't resist the urge to open the package in my car and spraying once on the back of my hand to test it, right before running to the gym class..... The very first top notes that hit my nose are those of pure cherry deliciousness. In fact these first few seconds smell a LOT like Escada cherry in the air. This only lasts for a few minutes and then it moves on to the chocolate that blends seemlessly with the dark cherry. I do not detect the musk until the very end when small dosages of it seems to add to the already existing cherry and chocolate and wraps up this beautiful olfactory experience. .....A few seconds after spraying on the back on my hand while sitting in my car in the parking lot, I jumped out of the car and started walking towards the gym. I walked along side a mature gentelman who was also on his way to the gym and he couldn't resist commenting on how beautiful my perfume smelled! (and this was from only one spritz on the back of my hand remember). Now, where I live literally no one ever comments on another persons perfume! We are not much for complements and a kind of an introverted bunch, so this for me is very big news as in never happens :) Feathered musk simply smells amazing and judging from my first day of wearing it, a crowd pleaser. The overall olfactory experience of it reminds quite a bit of one of my favorite layering recipes of all times, which is Escada Cherry in the Air layered with Al rehab Choco Musk. No big surprise there as the names suggest: cherries + chocolate + musk, which are indeed the three notes listed in VS Feathered musk. So if you happen to have Cherry in the Air and Choco Musk in your possession, definitely try layering them and see if you like it. If you don't have them, or if you do and like the combination I would say VS Feathered Musk is a must have for you! EDITED 20.02.14: I love this more with each passing day. I'm seriously sad that this is a limited edition. Why oh why?! :(

I awaited the arrival of this limited edition collection with great anticipation. Fall is my favorite time of year and I generally really like, even love, fragrances released during this season. Plus I was excited to smell a fragrance from VS that isn't a flanker for one of the already established perfumes. I tested all three today and I have to say I AM IN LOVE. All three are gorgeous! There is a scarlet thread of a warm feel connecting all three but they have very distinct characters. Feathered Musk is the one I am wearing on my skin right now. It is very vanilla like in that it is smooth and lightly sweet. The cherry gives a little playfulness and a rich fruitiness that is not your typical fruit note - doesn't become candy like and overtake the rest of the notes. Not sure why the note pyramid has "tuber" listed since the other notes are feathered musk and whipped truffle... Regardless, this is a warm, playfully sensual smell. Not what I would call outright sexy, but definitely could draw people in. Its lasting power is pretty good too compared to a lot of the other recent releases from VS. And for those of you wary of musk fragrances - this isn't heavy on musk, and definitely isn't animalic. Love love love. Just delicious.

They should totally bring this back. I purchased a bottle off of eBay a few years ago for a relatively expensive price, but I knew I loved it because a fellow Fragrantican gifted me this as a sample in a swap. I know I love a scent if I go through a sample eagerly and quickly, and this was one of them. Only "Feathered Musk" was written on the label, and I was very shocked to find out it was a Victoria's Secret scent. Kind of like a wet tobacco scent with musk. Somehow it's very "clean" feeling, but also cuddly and warm. Also, maybe a little gross, but it's a great sweat scent on me...meaning that when I'm doing chores or working out, this blooms beautifully. Bring it back!!! :)

I'm not sure if I already did a review on this but even if I did, I want to write another one! This scent is a winner for me! The chocolate and cherry combination is amazing and I smell so sexy and seductive with this on. My boyfriend never complements me on any of the perfume I wear but when I wore this, he was like "wow you smell really good"! That's a good sign right there :) Plus the lotion for this scent is awesome and its super moisturizing lol so I'm keeping this on my vanity for as long as possible and will be stocking up when the semi annual comes :)

I love this fragrance!! One of the first cherry and chocolate perfumes when cherry wasn't the it note. Way ahead of its time. Very long lasting even with body mist. It smells so elegant that you won't believe it's a Victoria's Secret fragrance. Edit: still till now no other fragrance smells like this one. It's so unique i'm so glad i have it in my collection. It actually says on the perfume box: Wrap yourself in weightless warmth Lush and seductive but purely ethereal, Cherry Noir Whipped Truffle Feathered Musk

I am really enjoying this fragrance. It isn't necessarily gourmand or foody, but it has an almost cranberry like tartness enveloped in smooth, creamy warmth. It brings to mind fall baking - the way a pie in the oven just smells warm. This is cozy and delicious, perfect for the crispness of the approaching fall months, and will continue to be appropriate into the winter. Just wonderful :)

This is definitely my favorite out of the three and I can imagine that a lot of people will love this sexy scent for the fall & winter :) EDIT 9/5/2013: Still loving this scent and this actually lasts on my skin (most VS fragrances dont!). Too bad this is limited edition :( I wish the new Victoria perfume was limited edition instead of this :/

Gorgeous fragrance! No notes in here are overpowering. This fragrance is beautifully combined together. Such a unique scent. The cherry and chocolate is combined as one then the vanilla skin musk shows under the fragrance. This fragrance needs to come back!

Tried it in store and fell in love with it! Really want to buy it. Super bummed that it's limited edition, wish it were in their permanent line!

This is the most beautiful fragrance ever created. I still have an empty bottle to sniff for nostalgia. I really wish they'd bring it back.

Smells really good! And lasts which most vs perfumes do not . And now its 40% off I'm going to stock up before they discontinue this !

Tobacco? I smell tobacco in this, somehow. My husband knew I'd liked the smell of this in the store and he surprised me with a lovely bottle of it plus the lotion. I do like it but I can really smell something very much like tobacco, maybe cherry tobacco, in this. My Mom smelled it on me, and she agreed it did smell like a cherry scented tobacco. Does anyone else get that vibe off this? I still like it but I have to admit I wish whatever scent note making it smell that way wasn't there. I'm probably going to get the Amber one in this same line of fragrances. I wasn't a fan of the third scent in this line, it was too floral for me. Update 9/14/14: Feathered Musk is indeed the best of the three in this series from VS. I still think it smells like cherry pipe tobacco, but I still really enjoy this perfume. Why must the good ones be limited editions? I guess there is always Ebay, or maybe at the next SA sale there will be a few stragglers.

This is a yummy chocolate cherry perfume with a clean light musk. As the note pyramid indicates I do get more cherry than chocolate. The cherry is like a maraschino cherry, it is not dark in any sense to me, it's very sweet. The chocolate smells like a sugary milk chocolate, hershey kiss kind of chocolate would be a fair comparison I think. The fragrance is not all together too long lasting. Just comparing it to the last two days where I wore two different hanae mori perfumes on my shirt the difference in quality is very clear. The hanae mori perfume stayed on my shirt fabric the entire day, whereas feathered musk faded away in 4 hours. The scent is nice still, I think it's worth picking up if you can find it on the cheap. I did not smell tobacco vibe in this, I think it would be awesome if they had added it though.

The most beautiful scent i smelled this year..an extraordinary joy wrapped me the moment the SA sprayed this on my arm:" I'm in Heaven Protected with Angel Wings Feathers..." Total coziness, softness and comfort. Yes i smell tobaco heavily!! When you try these Fall collection you will deeply Fall in Love ♥ but this one was the best one on my skin when i tried all 3 yesterday.i couldn't help purchasing all the range of feathered musk. I hurried to Fragrantica to see the notes that made this wonderful scent, i was sure i will find tobaco because it was the prominent note till the base, but all i found was 3 notes that are not present in any way on my skin!!! I read reviews to find if anyone had the same experience.i found only 1. It is a matter of chemistry and mine goes wild with this...love love and love.. Edit: i was figuring out what this perfume reminds me of and i found that it is very close to Givenchy Pi for men!!! Weird but still a very beautiful perfume and i still Fall in love head to toe everytime.

Beautiful cold-weather fragrance. As others have mentioned, this is not a musk scent. It is a deep, rich, sweet, ambery tobacco-type scent. It has amazing longevity and sillage. It could easily overpower those with allergies or other nasal sensitivities, so my opinion is that 2 or 3 sprays is sufficient. I could understand how someone could see this as a "Britney Spears' Fantasy plus burnt sugar note". I get no cherry from this. Seems a man could wear this, actually. This to me was like Prada Candy. Not the notes, but my expectations. I was expecting spun sugar, and instead it is a complex, mature gourmand. This is more gorgeous than Candy, though. I haven't gotten the chance to test in cold weather until now. I would not recommend this scent in warm temperatures. This scent is getting extremely hard to find.

This is fantastic for a Victoria Secrete perfume! Does not remind me of VS at all, in fact I think it smells more niche that store brand. The scent of tobacco, chocolate and Narciscio-esque musk are unusual for their line of fragrances. It smells alluring and also comforting, like the proverbial blanket you want to wrap yourself up in and cozy up to. My husband smelled coconut from this, and I kind of did, too. Not a lot but I love coconut so it's not a problem. The cherry note, well, is not my favorite aspect of this and it kind of reminds me of the black currant note in Tribu from Benetton. Not a deal killer. Unfortunately, this was a limited edition so if you can find it grab it while you can.

This is my favorite perfume now and I haven't had a favorite in years. I love this scent, everybody including men with enough guts to ask always ask what this scent is. I have random women say wow you smell good. Ive only had this many compliments happen with this perfume and about 2 other scents in my life. Feathered musk lasts for at least 7 hours, even more if you layer it correctly. Now that it's cold out, it seems to last even longer. Love this stuff. By it being Limited Edition I will probably buy 5 bottles. It's now my signature scent.

I was pretty let-down with this one. I tried it today, and it was straight-up cherry, with nothing else to ground it. Full-throttle fruitiness, which was very reminiscent of cherry cough syrup. Once again, we got a promising arrangement of notes that just don't quite deliver like they could. The only one of this collection that I liked was the Night Jasmine one, because it was a sweet, classy floral that didn't rely on fruits to make it stand out. Sheer Amber was a fruity let-down.

this was my favorite of the three. I am not sure why its called "Feathered Musk" because musk is NOT prominent at all in this scent. I get more of a heavy sweet cream with candied cherries. Reminded me of those fruit tarts that they sell in lot of French bakeries? I like it a lot and considering getting a bottle. Lasting power was better than lot of their other scents. One spray on my wrist I could distinctly smell for about 2 hours after which it was mostly skin scent.

Victoria Secret’s Feathered Musk smells nothing like the notes listed, at least in my opinion. To me this smells like a cinnamon roll – it’s very gourmand! I get cinnamon, graham cracker, and vanilla frosting. I swore up and down that I would never purchase another VS fragrance, but I’m glad I made an exception for Feathered Musk. It’s delicious!

I recovered a unopened bottle I had stashed for some time. This is niche level sophistication. Very smooth, well blended, ahead of its game. We were lucky to have this way back before niche fragrances were a thing. I knew what I had when I had it. Now we gotta convince VS to bring it back so I don’t hoard this ten year old bottle. ;-p

This looks and sounds FANTASTIC! There's almost no way this isn't gonna smell great, and it's very nice to see such unusual notes together.
