Nude Coconut Fig

Very soft and unintrusive. After 1st few minutes and into dry down, reminds alot of a low intensity L'Instant. I wanted something bolder but forgot about the "nude" part. Just a nice smelling skin scent. Update: Right about the 1 hour mark, I start getting whiffs of Crayola crayon from this one. Hangs around for awhile then drifts into a wonderful but short lived sweet amber dry down before it disappears completely.

This is indeed similar to BBW Brown Sugar & Fig, but shockingly I find it less complex. It is beautiful but simpiler. The fig is less pronounced and it is just a smidge less sweet. The coconut is warm and custardy, like there is a milk or sweet cream note that isn't listed. Edit: Just had to add that this one gets compliments!! My perfume picky friend said "What are you wearing today? It smells so warm!!"

Nude Coconut Fig is a rich, cool-weather fragrance. Like others have pointed out, it's basically a higher-quality duplicate of Bath & Body Works Brown Sugar and Fig. VS and BB&W are owned by the same firm. Once in a while you might expect they are going to come up with a dupe or near-dupe based on the ingredients purchased for fragrance production, or maybe owning the rights. That's just a guess. And to me, it's not really something to discredit a fragrance. This isn't a skin-scent at all. I have to disagree with the "Nude" part of its name. There's nothing bare or scaled-back about it. In fact, it's a bit overwhelming to me. It's so rich and sweet -- in a sophisticated, feminine way. The fig definitely is more pronounced than coconut, although I've heard that fig alone can smell similar to coconut. This has about as much coconut as Brown Sugar and Fig, which is "maybe there if you look hard enough, really go looking for it, or interpret it that way." If coconut wasn't part of the name, I wouldn't have thought it was a note. Sillage can be explosive and longevity is impressive. Even if you think this is a skin-scent, please be careful. Now, in its own right, even without the coconut being a star, it's a great fragrance. Deep, very feminine, and reminds me of a confident yet warm-hearted woman. I think this fragrance just didn't work for me or my chemistry. It was too loud for me, even with a spray or two. It kind of just sat on top of my skin and didn't really meld with me. But it's a goodie anyway.

Very similar to BBW brown sugar and fig, kinda wish I woulda went with something else from the line, as I feel like I've owned it before.....
