Patchouli Coconut Musk

Hopefully I will have more to say later, but for starts... This goes on with a very natural and true patchouli. If you have ever smelled real patchouli extract, that is what you will get from this. The coconut is there the whole time also quiet natrual smelling, it sort of sits behind the patchouli for the first minute or so. The two mix together really nicely actually. It starts out a dry almost balmy effect, but the coconut sweetens, becoming more custardy, and it loses some of the dryness. I really like it and can't say i've ever smelled anything quiet like it.. It will layer really nicely with the Nude Coconut Fig perfume, or maybe one of my more balmy dry fragrances like Nicole By Nicole Richie.

Seems like this fragrance is polarizing! I’m in the love-it camp. It’s an unusual offering in the beach genre, with the very realistic coconut and the musk. The patchouli for me is barely there, but enough to elevate this perfume and set it apart. I would put it in the same scent family as Yves Rocher Noix do Coco and Amouage Beach Hut Woman.

Even if I realize that the quality is not good I found the smell itself cozy. But absolutely the only occasion while I had wore this is when it’s 20 C minus ouside, I have to have a lot of clothes on when going to sleep and I just want some cozy scent on my clothes which I wish to have been disappeared until the morning comes. Maybe nice scent for teenagers but not this kind of niche fragrance addicted middle aged woman. 😅 This is a one purchase when I didn’t have my nice evening scents with me and I just bought quickly something cheap for sleeping. Anyway I don’t find this cloying at all, just soft musky coconut scent. I don’t notice patchouli so much. Thank you for reading, I hope my review was helpful. This was a scrubber, only I sprayed it at the mall where I found it in the clearance section. I had to wipe my arm on whatever was handy (don't ask). The only thing I got here was a really synthetic (like sickening) coconut. This is the kind of coconut I really dread. It did not work at ALL for me.

At first spray I got a beautiful, meaty, natural coconut. Then I got the overwhelming stench of stinkbugs and I couldn't get it off me fast enough. i cannot. My husband also thought it smelled the same and I didn't even have to tell him what I thought it smelled like. He knew. This is a do not buy for me.

Maybe I received a bad batch but this made me nauseous. I had to wash my arm immediately and that didn't even help. The patchouli is very reminiscent of cheap Avon, not modern day Avon but like 20 years ago Avon. Strong synthetic patchouli and synthetic coconut. No thanks. Really gross

Nice fig scent, but the dry down gets a bit heavy with the patchouli note.
