Ravishing Love

Natural, juicy blackberry scent with a sweet and creamy element. As you'd probably expect, the lasting power leaves a lot to be desired, but what really surprises me about this scent is that for a VS fragrance, I would have expected a muddled and generic "berry" scent. But the blackberry here is so natural and well-done in my opinion. There is also a cool freshness (aloe vera?) that keeps it from being cloyingly sweet. For me, this was one of their best scents. If I ever find it again, I'll definitely repurchase.

This & Mood Succulent were the fragrances that launched my blackberry scent note hunting obsession. They both were sublime to wear. This blackberry note is so pure and the lilac note beautifully rounds it out. Not near lasting enough IMHO. This was the daytime queen and Mood Succulent was the nighttime seductress. Oh I so wish I could meet up with both of them again!!! B&BW's Black Raspberry Vanilla was a very distant runner up and much younger smelling, nice but nowhere near as compelling.

One of my favorites from this line. I missed out on this while it was available as EDT so I only have the mist, and accompanying lotion and shower gel. Even with layering, this scent is very faint. But I love the fruity sweetness with a touch of floral, just wish it was stronger. It is mostly sweet berries, with the floral only noticeable at the beginning. I wish VS would bring this back. It really is a fun, warm, sweet cozy scent.

The VS Fantasy line for me is great for work. Most of the scents aren't overpowering but still smell nice. Most of the nurses I work with either use BBW scents or VS scents to smell nice, but not suffocate patients. LOL This is pretty good, especially if you like blackberries. Ravishing Love reminds me of summertime; sweet, flirty, carefree. It doesn't last very long, but it's a fun to wear scent.

This was my very first VS scent. I bought the Body Spray while on holiday in the US in 2009; back then VS was not available in Germany like it is now. The bottle is almost empty. Sad because it is discontinued and I cannot find anything similar. A sweet but not cloying fruity-floral combination but with terrible longevity.
