Rush

I love Victoria's Secret "Rush" fragrance mist. I was a huge fan and repeat buyer of VS Amber and Coconut Passion but wanted to try something new. So glad I blind-bought Rush based on reviews. The winter season can be rather depressing for me, so I've been using Rush this winter to lift my mood. I typically use such scents during the warmer Spring, Summer, and Fall months. If you are a fan of amber, then you'll love this mist. Some people said it lasted the whole day (meaning 8 hours), but this was not my experience. I got about 2 hours out of it and maybe smelled a hint of it at the end of the day, just because I had sprayed it on my top in the morning. If you want it to last, carry it with you (or a travel-size version) to top off during the day. It has a nice, fresh, floral, opening that settles into a warm, creamy finish (the amber). Within the first two hours, you'll leave a pleasant, clean trail that should not be overwhelming unless you're super heavy-handed with it. Please do not spray this mist (or any fragrance really) at your desk, since this might irritate others with sensitivities to fragrances. Spray it in the restroom e.g. over your lunch break and give it a few minutes to dissipate/settle before going back to the office. It's sure to be a winner, even with those who are sensitive to perfume, as long as they do not experience it at first blast. This will definitely be a repeat purchase for me!

This review is for the 50ml EDT version! Apparently I'm a fan of amber and didn't even know it. The fragrances I've been recently buying all have amber in it and its very noticable. But it's something about this particular fragrance that had me head over heels. Fragrantica only list two notes: one of them being amber but I feel like there's a hidden note that maybe no one can detect. I'm not sure what it is but this fragrance is soft, inoffensive, fresh, and sexy. I get about a good 6nhoura with this fragrance on my skin and 3 hours of projection. The 8.4oz fragrance mist actually has a good projection and moderate longevity as well which surprised me. You could wear one or the other and it'll get you through a good portion of your day or you could wear both and it'll probably last you all day. Any female who buys Victoria Secret fragrances probably owns this fragrance but if you haven't tried it, I recommend you do.

My review is for the 1.7 oz EDT of Rush. This is another one of those unique scents with a simple composition. I feel like there are more notes to this fragrance than what's being listed here because i can detect amber, but there's something more complex about this fragrance than just white flowers. Whatever it is, it's amazing. As this dries down, i start to detect this Britney Spears Fantasy DNA in the background, minus the kiwi. It's not too much to where you could compare the two side by side because they're totally different, but it'll definitely come to mind when wearing this. I get about a good 4 hours on my skin and the sillage is okay. The more you spray, the better it projects. The bottle is very cute. I have 2 bottles left that i barely use because this may never bw available as a EDT again. Scent: 8/10 Packaging: 6/10 Performance: 6/10

I am in love with this - I really thought nothing much of it when I bought it and was nudged along by the shop assistant who raved about it being her end of day indulgence. I got home and had a shower... went and put the lotion and a couple of sprays and was like... Oh wow... I totally get it. This is a fragrance you can easily overlook because of the cloud of perfume soup surrounding you at VS, you might just say sickly sweet, run of the mill and miss out... this is sweet, it’s gourmand but it’s really something else. If you like Pink Sugar range, Prada Candy, even the original Guess fragrance in the tall brown bottle... give this a try. Personally I would be just as happy owning the lotion and nothing more. The lotion is perfection for gourmandise-sweet dreams :)

this makes me smell EXPENSIVE. i know they changed their packaging but i really hope the formula stays as good. will definitely repurchase after i finish my current, except that i own too many mists and perfumes for that to happen anytime soon. back to the body mist, i think this is good for everyday use, perfect even. i wont really consider this as a date night scent, though it does makes me smell sexy, i just feel like its a scent nothing too unique. i still do love it as much though, but i agreed with a review that says to not blind buy, this is definitely a “hate it or love it” one. for me its the latter.

At this moment this is my favourite VS body mist! Wow i would never guessed that this is a gourmand scent! Its warm white flowers with sweet amber, but its somehow smells like hot chocolate or just chocolate. I dont know, i wouldnt say that it smells like Britney Fantasy...i would say that i can understand who thinks this is Mugler Alien. Not 100% Alien but i get the resamblance thanks to the white flowers. Its not that screechy or loud. Its creamier and more fresh than Alien at the same time. Its long lasting especially if you spray on to your clothes or on your hair.

Out of all the VS mists this has got to be my favourite one. I smelled it on my friend initially and decided to buy it for myself. I had it at work and it caught my colleague's interest. We both felt it was a shame that it doesn't have a perfume version (or that I don't know of) because I think it would be a good sell. Compliment getter for sure but like it is with all mists - it lasts for an hour max and needs several extra sprays throughout the day. I've also gifted one to my sister in law. It's probably a nice mist right after the shower in the evening.

My favorite vs scent! Everyone's speaking about the flowers and the woods but I think the mandarin is the most outstanding note. I've never taken this scent as woody or floral, it's more fruity and gourmand for me. It's sweet and very very fresh, it feels like taking a bite of a tangerine in a rain forest. Very fitting for summer. Not a blind buy though, always test it on your skin. (I also saw a review saying this smells kind of soapy, and I kind of get it. When you focus on a sort of a clean soapy note, you smell the flowers.)

best victorias secret scent out there for me. i've had my eyes on this since november 2024 and I'm glad I've finally bought myself a bottle of it. kinda wish I got it earlier, before they changed the look of the bottles, but in my opinion, it smells the same as it used to. can't wait to wear it as my signature scent. also, this scent can be worn all year round in my opinion, and that is exactly what I'll do! the longevity isn't the best, but the sillage is great. glad it's not discontinued as I thought it was.

I dont understand why people compare victoria secret rush to fantasy. Im sorry but rush and fantasy are not the same, they smell different. I prefer Rush more. This is a citric, amber and fruity perfume. If i could find a perfume of this i would use it forever its so good.

Love this for summer with the lotion. I get fruity, possibly tropical fruits, tangy with some florals, very fresh and yummy. I love these Victoria's Secret mists in the summer. I crave my more concentrated scents in fall and winter.

That was a blind buy. It's one of the best VS body mists. I use it when I don't want to wear something heavy. Performance is not good but it's normal for a body mist.

i think i will repuschase a fruity spray especially one with more mandarin notes but id buy it if theres a scent that appeals to me more its not a must have

I was expecting it to be a fresh, clean scent like aqua kiss. But no. On initial spray, yes, it smells fresh, but it quickly dries down to a fruity, woody, vanilla, smoky scent. Not a masculine woody and smoky scent, however. This spray is very girly, so don’t be fooled by the blue bottle. To be honest, I think the notes are misleading. Sultry woods and midnight mandarin. I can’t smell mandarin at all. I can smell blueberries, but not mandarin. I get the sultry woods in the dry down. Before I got this mist, a lot of people mentioned it reminds them of Britney Spears fantasy, so I had that in mind when I first sprayed it. And I can confirm it’s almost a dupe. Except rush is more sweeter and not as musky as fantasy. Another scent rush reminds me of is Sol de janeiro 59. The woody & smokiness does that for me. But i wouldn’t say this is a dupe or the exact same scent as 59, just similar, so if you like 59, you’ll like this. Again, this is extremely underrated, and I don’t understand why. It’s the perfect sweet mist without being too nauseating or synthetic. Smells like a blueberry muffin.

I absolutely love floral scents; especially white floral and amber. This mix is very versatile and unique. I do see this as a youth one and not for mature ladies, but it's up to your preference anyway. This is my daily scent for school. The sillage is moderate and the longevity is good enough. I'm finishing my 250ml body mist soon so I do like it a lot! I'm not really a fan of the other Victoria Secret's body mist which are too floral for me but this one is nice.

i can’t decipher which note i get the most, i guess it is a citrusy note, but it’s not clementine. I guess that it’s similar to blueberry candy? But i’m not sure. On my skin, it’s very sweet and also powdery, once again i relate it to blueberry candy for that reason. On the dry down, when i apply it to myself, I don’t get woodsy tones.

Quite an old fragrance, something someones suburban mum or grandma would wear. a sweet millennial scent. I personally don't like wearing it but its pleasant, good for the workplace and professional settings, very sweet and not too punchy of a floral, quite warm. good for cold and rainy weather or spring

I love this. I really love amber though, Most anything with a strong amber note I will love. Its lasts a very long time, surprising for a mist. I could smell it on my skin when I woke up the next morning.

It's really pleasant, soapy. Smells like fresh laundry detergent in the best way. Flowery, aquatic, soapy and slightly vanillic. An easy reach for casual days when you just want to smell fresh.

It smells sweet and lightly oriental. I do not agree with the notes. I don't feel white flowers neither amber...I feel sugar toffee, frangipani and watermellon.

A YouTuber recommended this as their favourite scent of all time... so I bought it having never smelt VS lists before. And it was definitely not my favourite. I think I smelt ‘romantic’ in store after buying and that one was definitely my favourite but now I think it’s discontinued for some reason annoyingly. But anyway, this scent is very very fruity to my nose, no white flowers or amber... just straight up fruity fruity scent. It’s pleasant, but I moved it to my car as a car / body refresher but I don’t drive often and when I do I forget it’s in there anyway so I don’t smell this very often. It’s just nothing special for me really, I would like to smell it again to get a refresher because it has been a while but it’s just a very forgettable scent for me unfortunately 🤷♀️

I bought this perfume bc I wanted aqua kiss and thought this would smell similar. At first it smells kinda like cleaning product. I also get some like citrusy blueberry note? Some time later, it smells like white flowers. And then, when it dries down, it smells like a woody vanilla. It's not my type of smell so I barely use it, but I have to admit it's really compatible with every season and it's such an elegant scent. Honestly wouldn't repurchase 7/10

Bought this a few months ago and I'm only half way through! It's okay for the price but I won't be buying again only because I like the scent but I don't absolutely love it. It gets a little boring after a while. It's pretty sweet at first but settles once on clothes/skin and reminds me of the Pantene shampoo smell 😂

Too weak. The opening is very citrusy, kind of smells like orange blossom cologne at first but then settles to a more mature amber smell which i like, but its so so so much faint. This is like a whisper but fragrance. I wish the settled down scent would be stronger

I could barely smell the white floral notes, maybe they emerge in the dry down. It has a slight mandarin orange scent. I like how it smells on me at first, but I gradually dislike the dry down.

Bought the lotion and at first I thought it smelled like playdoh lol now I get the white florals and some sweetness. Still like Midnight Bloom better but this one is growing on me.

Given to me as present but not my scent, though I like amber but not this kind, like its burnt. First sniff has given me slight dizzyness maybe because of the white flowers. This is my first whiteflower fragrance. I usually like roses accord. To use it, I'd just like to spray it to my lower limbs.. not too near in my neck or wrist as this will cause a sure headache especially when during travel.

failed me so bad but totally cuz of my personal preferences. it smells like caramel-ish sweet musk with citrus and i’m not a fan of those two notes together. the white flowers add to the acidity which causes the scent to be nausea triggering imo

I go to VS occasionally to smell/buy their eau de parfums. I bought the Rush lotion a year or two ago. In the store, I was like, wow! I tried the spray, too. It's a cotton-candy scent with a "cooler" edge. I usually won't buy any new Fantasies products, because honestly they're garbage compared to 5 or 10 years ago. Now they smell like cheap drugstore body products. I thought Rush would be different for some reason. After a few uses at home, it started to smell really synthetic, really artificial. It legitimately made me sick to my stomach. I should have known better. I had bought some body mists along with Rush lotion and they all ended up as a synthetic mess after my nose adjusted. The nearest VS is 20 miles away but I had to return these. They were too expensive for the quality. I hate returning anything unless there is a defect in a product, but I have no use for fragrances that make me nauseous. I'm surprised to see comparisons to Britney's Fantasy. I don't get this comparison at all. The only thing Rush and Fantasy have in common is sweetness.

I've been having some weird sort of chemical imbalance lately and i cannot stand my perfumes at all. Basically every fragrance gives me a headache. Victoria's Secret to the rescue. The only thing i wear at the moment is their body mists. I'm wearing this one (Rush) right now. It's sweet, tropical and sexy albeit a bit generic (very reminiscent of Britney Spears Fantasy before it got reformulated). I quite like it though and will keep on wearing it. People seem to like it too.

Most Vs mists are fruity sweet ,this one is gourmand sweet I Was expecting alot more notes in it ,like cupcake or cotton candy or sugar :) Initial spray is lovely, amazingly sweet. kindda like fantasy perfume as one of the reviews mentioned But it has no dry down :) it just vanishes ! Perhaps a layer of its lotion will do the trick Perfect for work & gym... .I'd say its a winter scent due to its high sweetness A must try

If you love Pink Sugar, Midnight Fantasy, or Fancy, you'll probably enjoy this. The reviews below are accurate - sugary musky, toasted marshmallow, ambery - soft and fluffy. It's just a bit too synthetic and flat for my taste. The toasted notes also smelled a little burnt to me.

This is a scent that doesn't scream Victorias Secret, honestly I can't detect the notes or write a fancy review on it, but it's a decent body mist, and has good longevity when paired with the body lotion (which I usually do).

Another discontinued classic. I’m sad that it’s gone, as I loved it a lot but grew tired of it too quick. Smells sugary with a little bit of white floral in the mix, kinda like blue cotton candy and gardenias in my opinion.

When I sprayed this I thought of CK Shock for her straight away. When I checked I could see it was in the reminds me of section. It does remind me of BS fantasy line. It's alright not bad.

This is so much sweeter than these notes give it credit. There's almost a candy like note in there and I definitely don't get heavy woods. It's a sugary sweet mandarin but it's good.

Would be divine if only I could smell it for longer than 5 minutes. Few hours later I can still tell it's there if I bury by nose in it, but it's barely noticeable, what a shame!

Fruity gourmand. Smells identical to Britney Spears, Fantasy. Sillage and longevity is ok, for $7 online mist sale, 8oz bottle. Great deal.

its really good and i loved it but for some reason mine smelt like pure alcohol for the first minute so i coudlnt use in school

This is sooo good and it smells so familiar. It's very similar to Sweet Like Candy from Ari.
