Strawberry Dip

I actually reallyy loved this and thought it was pretty unique, & I have a pretty big VS collection. I know it has mixed opinions, and when I first sprayed it, I definitely got a weird, waxy chapstick-kind of smell, but it faded after a few minutes, so it wasn't a huge issue for me. Now it just smells straight up like strawberry syrup, & there's a creamy vanilla mixed in as well that gives off a vanilla ice cream with strawberry syrup vibe, & I mean VERY SYRUPY. I think if this was any stronger, it'd be a bit overpowering (coming from someone who likes super sweet gourmands scents and uses them daily). Luckily, though, it's nice & light. Once it fully dries down, it turns into more of a sweet fizzy candy smell. The bottle design is also super cute!! I feel like most people aren't giving it a chance to dry down because this is so good what?? 😭😭 I already want a backup

If you wanna smell like Strawberry Chapstick - this is your choice. It’s waxy. I find some of Victoria Secrets representation of “Strawberry” is more on the waxy side. It doesn’t stink per se, but can come off synthetic. However, i find layering this with VS Juicy Strawberry lotion (Which is accurate!) go well together. I don’t mind it as it’s not a long lasting fragrance.

The base notes listed above do not match what I am smelling. And I would add butter? To me, it starts off as strawberries and a few minutes later I smell Ice cream with a buttery note. That's it. It is ok.

Syrupy sweet strawberry candies🍓🍬

A very waxy strawberry that’s like strawberry candle wax or chapstick. It’s just ok,it doesn’t smell lactonic and creamy nor like “shortcake crumbles “. The waxiness I think is from it being a fizzy candy note. It does remind me of the slightly waxy flavor of strawberry “sour power”( that’s what we called them in my day) candy. Slightly disappointed that Victoria’s Secret lists the notes as Soft serve ice cream and shortcake crumbles when this is all sour strawberry candy.

Smells like graham crackers. Maybe the strawberry candy smell is in there too. It's not a gross scent or anything and it really smells pleasant and lasts a while. Wouldn't write home about it but glad I bought it. For a better strawberry scent, I think BBW Strawberry Soda is the best. Strawberry Dip is more like a Princess Peach's birthday cake vibe.

This smells like plastic medicine. Nothing sweet or strawberry about it. It's hard for me to find a gourmand I don't like but this is just awful. Definitely regret blind buying this. I read the notes and thought I'd love it sadly.

I have the new one, and yep. This has nothing to do with the yummy notes writed on the bottle (soft serve, shortcake crumbles, candy coating) , the scent is neither candy-ish nor strawberry scented. This is soooo synthetic!! it even reminds me of sweet like candy by ari with a minty note, it's synthetically sweet and weirdly minty - fresh. The worst disappointment ever, coming from a strawberry lover and collector...

Gross, haven't worn it once since blind buying online.

Smells like strawberry carmex....very dissapointed. It could have at least been strawberry lip gloss or lipstick 😭😂 Where’s the cake crumbles? Soft serve? Nope, not here. What’s crazy too is that I was 99% certain this one was going to be my favorite out of the four summer faves collection but this is actually probably my least favorite.
