Sunset Gelato

The perfect summer gourmand. I purchased 6 mists & 2 lotions. The lotions almost smell better than the mists, but the mists are obviously still absolutely amazing. I love how the pistachio is not off putting, like some pistachios can be to me. It is so perfectly blended with the caramel, with a beautiful beachy quality. You can still wear this all year round as it’s not something as summery as pineapple or mango per se, but I can’t wait for this scent to blossom in the heat. 🍨 ☀️ 🏝️ edit: I sprayed pink suede around the room the other day, and when I walked back into the room it smelled like sunset gelato. They have a similarity, but by no means a dupe at all. I’m not sure what is making them smell similar, as they share no notes. 😫 but pink suede has been compared to sunset glow, and sunset glow has been compared to Cheriosa 62, & this is a dupe for cheriosa 62 so I guess it makes sense but I wanted to add that in there. You can also love one & hate the other because they are still different (pink suede vs sunset gelato) because I want to smell like sunset gelato for the rest of my life but pink suede is probably my least favorite mist in my collection

This is vanilla ice cream with a nutty cookie on the side. It is a cozy and relaxing scent that I can wear to bed. And at the same time it is playfully sexy but appropriate for daytime. I usually do not wear body sprays outside of the house but this one I will. I get about 4 hours of wear when layered with the matching body cream. The projection is about an arm's length and the silage in a warm summer breeze is beautiful. I understand the Sol De Janeiro 62 comparisons, they are in the same family. But Sunset Gelato is airy and cooler. While SDJ 62 is very dense and creamy. Victoria Secret came out with another spray, Pistachio Creme. It has similar notes to Sunset Gelato but the execution is very different. Pistachio Creme is a nutty custard or flam with candied almonds on top. (Still good just different). I know that this is probably the most obviously layering combo to ever exist, but I paired this with Kayali Yum Pistachio Gelato to make a mouthwatering summer gourmand. I was addicted to it this last summer. This was my favorite release from Victoria Secret this year. If this comes back for the sale I will have to get a backup. 8/10.

this is a good fragrance and it is definitely similar to cheirosa 62, but i think i just don't love those kinds of scents as much as i want to think i do lmao. i wish the pistachio note was a little toastier and the caramel more present, but i do think this makes a wonderful summer fragrance when u want something gourmand-ish but not cloying in the heat! longevity and sillage are both pretty average for victoria's secret's mists lately, maybe slightly on the lighter side. edit: i think my nose has changed recently because a lot of fragrances that i used to just like are now loves for me, including this. if you're looking for a true bakery gourmand, you'll be disappointed, but this is beautiful if you can appreciate it for what it is. it's a creamy, nutty fragrance with a soft powdery quality that keeps it smelling clean and a saltiness that gives it a bit of beachiness.

It took me FOREVER to get my hands on this that also wasn't from an overpriced reseller.. So glad I finally got it!! This does smell pretty close to the EOS pistachio / Sol de Janeiro 62 mists to me, like other people mentioned, which are scents that I adore, so of course I also love this one. It might be a bit boring to some, but if you love pistachio scents, I'd say it's a really safe blind buy, perfect for summer. I personally get a lottt of the salty, summery pistachio (no caramel) with creamy gelato. And it's a nice balance of notes, not super sweet. Although it's not listed in the notes, I swear I also get a bit of a woody smell almost because it has like a warmth to it in the background? Super yummy, though, and decent projection/longevity for a Vs mist

A clear Sol de Janeiro 62 dupe. The DNA is immediately recognizable: warm, creamy, caramelized sweetness with that familiar gourmand-summer vibe. If you enjoy SDJ 62, this is exactly like it, the only difference is a very subtle floral twist, but it’s barely noticeable and doesn’t change the overall character. For the most part, it wears almost exactly like the original. At a much more affordable price point for those outside of the US, it delivers the same cozy, addictive sweetness without feeling like a downgrade. Overall, a great alternative if you love SDJ 62 and want the same experience for less.

probably the most intense body spray at PINK right now. this smells more like dark chocolate and almond to me than pistachio. definitely a fab dupe for cheirosa 62 from sol de janeiro. especially when it fades, it's basically identical. i will say theres something in this one thats a little more rich? or cozy? i guess? than the sol de janeiro. not as sweet and light. i prefer it tbh its cheirosa 62 if she had a myspace account and wore foldover leggings

Slightly creamy vanilla ice cream with drizzle of caramel and nutty topping. I don't smell anything masculine nor floral here. I get a good 3 hrs since I am in a tropical country.

this smells like cheirosa 62 and hypnotic poison had a baby. not really an exact dupe of cheirosa 62 whatsoever if that is what you're expecting.

This is a beachy, vacation, coconut baby girl. I layer it with the lotion. Love it.

A refreshing take on a gourmand for the summertime, although it could be worn any season. The opening smells more like an almond cookie, but also has the cool essence of gelato. Caramel & pistachio notes eventually come through with light projection. Similar to a sunscreen scent just w/ a pistachio twist. It's vaguely reminiscent of Kayali Yum Pistachio (without the soapy accord). Personally, I would not compare this to SDJ..

This is a Cheirosa 62 dupe with some slight differences. This is lighter with a more salty beachy vibe. I really pick up a lot more sea salt in here than in my Chairosa 62 which is way sweeter, better projecting and lasts longer. If you can’t justify sol de Janeiro prices this is a good alternative but I definitely prefer my Cheirosa 62 over this.

Cheirosa 62 dupe LOL I love it though. Try to catch this one when they have the $6 sale again. It's very strong upon first spray, on skin it lasted about 90 minutes before it began to fade. I think it's worth buying over the Sol De Janeiro tbh based on the price difference (during sale) alone. When there's another sale, I'm gonna stock up.

Kind of pleasant! Doesn't last, but nice for what it is. I don't get that much pistachio, so if you want a D.S. & Durga dupe, go for the BBW Pistachio Glaze instead. This little mist is unique and inoffensive. A great choice for work or gym. And doesn't SCREAM gourmand.

This perfume smells like a dupe of Sol de Janeiro's '62 perfume, has those same caramel and pistachio notes too it, but honestly I would argue for lemon and woody notes too. A sweet perfume but still very summery.

This body mist really performed well for me. This lasted all day. Sprayed on my body first, then resprayed lightly after dressing. Enjoyed the scent and good performer, win, win.

Got this on sale a while ago, I'm glad I waited to write this review. I needed time to think this one through. (not joking lol) I have never had Cheirosa '62, and I've wanted to test it to see what the hype was about. I can't speak on how 62 smells, but to my nose, this smells like coconut. The review after mine mentions a lack of caramel but to me, this comes off as very caramel heavy. Then there's a bit of sea salt, and maybe sandalwood or driftwood - idk just some kind of wood. Now back to the coconut. First of all, you can't tell me this doesn't smell like coconut. You just can't. Now that that's established I want to specify that I do not hate coconut, it's just not for me. I do have a close friend who despises it to the point of making her violently ill, so I've sort of come to dislike it by association. Anywho, my grandma used to make the most amazing cookies. Her long-time secret ingredient was a tiny dash of almond extract. Sometimes she would make these cookies she called Haystacks, they were little balls of toasted coconut flakes topped with a light sugary glaze and little crushed chunks of pistachios or almonds on top. The pistachio smell was always very faint, they mostly smelled like toasted coconut and caramel. The warm aroma would fill up the house and we'd know when they were done because you could smell it from upstairs. We'd sit there munching on the cookies and sipping our hot cocoa, or coquito if we were lucky enough to get our hands on some before the adults finished it. These are warm Christmas memories for me but it's still what would be considered a 'summery' scent. It lasts quite a while, I sprayed it on my hoodie and it still smelled fresh the next day.

Literally identical to sol de janeiro for a much better price

I thought I was going to love this based upon the reviews, but it smelled like a soft, sugary powder scent. If I wanted a scent like that, I'd grab PINK Candy Hearts. I was underwhelmed. It also does not last as long as the other PINK body mists nor does it project much.

this smells like hairspray to me?? on my skin all i could pick up is a sweet nuttiness, like coconut and not pistachio.

Yes. This is Hypnotic poison (without the rootbeer) and cheirosa 62. Also Yara. You know what it smells most like? trader Joe's dupe of 62 lotion. With the tiiiniest bit of cloud. I'm still not sure how I feel about. I'll circle back.

How's nobody gonna talk about how this smells like Hollister. I own sol de Janeiro 62 and yes it's similar but there's an Abercrombie Hollister smell like men's cologne

This is very bad for me ( i don’t like cheirosa 62) for me it’s not gourmand that mist didn’t smell like cake or ice cream it’s a masculine perfumey mist.

I went through 2/3 of my body spray, and it smells like Sol de Janeiro Cheirosa 62 but more faint and plastick-y
