Tease Candy Noir

Beautiful, sweet, warm, feminine, sensual, seductive, fruity, floral, playful, flirty, luscious, dark, deep, sexy, earthy, slightly spicy, enchanting, dreamy, cozy On me this opens with sweet, dark, and playfully fruity with raspberry glaze, earthy, and velvety floral Iris, and a warm vanilla/tonka scent. As it dries down the vanilla/tonka and Iris take the center stage while the raspberry glaze melts into the overall scent. I feel like there’s also a golden amber and softly spicy patchouli in the base with a bit of powdery musk too. This is a really sensual and sexy scent that’s warm, darkly sweet, and velvety. I love it! This is very lovely and sophisticated, not just some typical fruity floral that some people tend to associate with VS fragrances. I personally enjoy quite a few of their fragrances, but especially older ones like Vanilla Lace, Pink (the OG), Dream Angels Heavenly Stardust, Dream Angels Forever, and Seduction Dark Orchid (this last one is actually somewhat similar to Candy Noir imo) just to name a few. It does also remind me of YSL Mon Paris, as well as just somewhat of VS Scandalous and D&G The One Desire. This is elevated and overall pretty crowd pleasing. It’s sweet, but not too overly sweet. It’s not something new, or especially unique, but that in no way makes it any less of a wonderful fragrance. The bottle really gives the right vibe of this scent... dark, sexy, flirty, and feminine. I think this is best suited for the colder weather of fall, winter, and early spring, but could also work as a nighttime fragrance year round. If you’re familiar with Tease Créme Cloud, this basically has the opposite feel to it. Like how Crème Cloud is in a white bottle with black accents, and Candy Noir is in a black bottle with light pink accents. I’ve been a big fan of the Tease line ever since it was first introduced (I still even have my original bottle with the hot pink atomizer!)! I own almost all of the line, and my top favorites are Noir Tease Temptation, Crème Cloud, Candy Noir, and Sugar Fleur. I get great performance with Tease Candy Noir. The longevity is really good, it lasts throughout the majority of the day on me. The projection is nice, it radiates out about an arm’s length from me. One of my favorite Tease flankers! A darkly sweet and sexy scent! Tease Candy Noir reminds me a lot of Dolce & Gabbana The One Desire, which I also love! I blind bought both Tease Candy Noir and Tease Creme Cloud and am really very impressed with both! I don’t find any of the notes to be overly prominent, but more well blended. I imagine that the sweet scent comes from the raspberry glaze, the warmth from the tonka bean, and the soft floral scent from the Iris. I feel like there is some vanilla in this too, but I don’t see it listed as one of the notes, so maybe from the tonka? I think this is an easy reach, especially during the colder months of fall and winter. I don’t think it’s quite as suited for spring and summer. To me it’s a darkly sweet and sexy fragrance. If you remember VS Seduction Dark Orchid, I found that to be a deep, dark, and very sexy fragrance and although I think there is a slight similarity between the two I think this one is a decent amount softer and sweeter, but still sexy! I typically get great longevity with fragrances (even body mists) and Tease Candy Noir is no exception, it lasts the entire day on me! The silage is good too! It can be smelled within about an arm’s length of me! Just for reference, my favorite Tease fragrances include the original Tease, Tease Temptation, Tease Crème Cloud, and Tease Candy Noir! Some of my favorite gourmands include Kayali Vanilla 28, Gold Sugar, Philosophy Fresh Cream Warm Cashmere, Burberry Goddess, The 7 Virtues Vanilla Woods, Nest Golden Nectar, and JHAG Vanilla Vibes!

I've been a Tease lover for years. I had just ordered the mist for Tease Crème Cloud and was OBSESSED. So when I went back to buy the EDP, Candy Noir had just launched and you could purchase a trio of all three current Teases. When I first applied Candy Noir I was very conflicted on if I liked it or not. I just sprayed it again on my wrists and inner elbow before browsing this site. I am radiating this scent and it's so lovely I want to purchase a full size! To my senses, it's a very deep, rich, fruity, dark scent that is well rounded with my chemistry. It's like a super sweet scent that's very grown. I feel like this is appropriate for anyone in their late 20's and up. It's very comforting. I assume it's nothing revolutionary, but this to me could be for work, family gatherings, and even sexy date nights? My partner enjoys it and I'll be very excited to add a full bottle to my collection soon! I also want to reiterate that upon first sniff I was very unsure. I can now say it's a new favorite. If you didn't like it initially, maybe give it another go!

I think the fragrantica reviews on this perfume are completely overhated. If it had been released by Dior instead of Victoria’s Secret, I doubt it would’ve received this much hate. I can understand why some people get a plasticky or synthetic vibe from it, but if it works with your body chemistry, it’s actually a beautiful night scent. It’s outside the typical sweet and simple VS line, it’s deeper, with a well-done tonka and iris blend that gives off a quality patchouli-like feel. For a designer fragrance, it does exactly what it promises in its ads. The only real issue is the performance. In cold weather, it turns into a skin scent on me, and I have to drench myself in it just to get some projection. But in cool spring weather, the performance is much better. Aside from maybe Narciso Rodriguez For Her EDT, I don’t really think it resembles any of the perfumes it's often compared to.

this scent opens with this soft jasmine that doesn’t scream — it just lingers, i feel like not everyone catches that jasmine note, but once you do, it’s addictive. the raspberry is my favorite part. it reminds me a little of burberry her — that juicy, playful sweetness — but it’s smoother here, more grown and mysterious. the warmth that follows is what really pulls you in. that cozy blend of tonka bean and something a little musky, like the air after a late-night drive with the windows down. it gives “sneaking out to meet someone you shouldn’t, but can’t resist.” the kind of moment where you’re shy but thrilled, nervous but glowing. it’s the mix of butterflies and comfort like his jacket around your shoulders while your perfume lingers on him after you hug goodbye. candy noir isn’t loud or overly sugary. it’s soft, warm, and a little flirty.

When I first tried Tease Candy Noir, I didn't like it. I came back to it a couple months later and fell in love. It projects VERY well on me and I can smell it all freaking day (yes, just ONE spritz on my skin; It is a strong perfume just don't use 80-thousand sprays at once). I get tons of compliments when I wear it. More compliments than I get on my signature scents. Definitely gourmand. I don't get "old lady" from this. It's sweet, maybe not super youthful, but definitely not old & dusty. On me it's sweet, warm, and somewhat floral but not too much. Almost smells like doughnuts (: They're discontinuing this, which is sad...

It smells EXACTLY like the launch ad with Madison Beer. If you watch the video on YT, it smells like that video looks haha. Its very nice. I love it so much and I am dying to get a bigger bottle but you cant get it in the Netherlands and it is expensive for how long it lasts. Really pretty Tonka, sweet, jammy raspberry and Iris/violet dream with a clean smelling, coolness kind of vibe like the OG Tease. The DNA is there. OG Tease- day time Candy Noir- seamless night time transition. Potential headache inducing if you're sensitive to florals

This is way better than la Nuit tresor. It's sweeter without the nuttiness and bread smell that overtakes la Nuit tresor. I find that the temp needs to be under 70 degrees Fahrenheit for this to perform. I love it sooooo much! So much that I try not to use it a lot cuz I don't want to use it all up! I hope that when the temps drastically drop that this will still be as intoxicating as it is now but we know how that goes... Some other note will pull stronger and change the scent significantly in the winter months.

Sniffed it, bought it. There’s nothing complex or unusual about this; it’s indeed dark red berries and tonka, with a vanillic sweetness to it. I don’t get the iris so much, but I suppose it lends a glamorous powderiness. Definite boudoir vibes, deep berry and wine colored velvet and silks, champagne and French macarons on the dressing table. It doesn’t hang around too long (a couple of hours), but its warm, sweet simplicity keeps me sniffing my wrists while it’s still here. 4.5/5 for me ❤️

To me, it smells like raspberry, reminds me of into the night from bbw. Also reminds me of bombshell magic. Granted bombshell has a few extra notes to it but they are similar and layer well together. It's not a bad scent but doesn't last long so layer it with something else. I got it on sale otherwise I wouldn't spend 80 bucks on it. It's not worth the price. Bottle is super cute though. But bombshell magic is better. Smells good layered with wicked and into the night.

I can't believe they managed to produce this magic with only 3 notes. (Is that really how VS does their products? They only ever mention 3-4 notes). This is what I always thought Pink Sugar would smell like. People were describing it like it's this great amazing signature cheapie you just need. THIS is what you need. Especially if you like "dark". Feminine, seductive, and crowd pleasing. I would definitely wear on a date night. I love this!

I recently bought this and love the smell. The vibe is similar to mugler alien. Not very long lasting but smells amazing and the smell doesn’t die down/disappear completely, it becomes more subtle throughout the day. Live for this perfume. I love that it’s sweet. You’d never guess it was quite cheap (got mine for ~18€ at Müller Germany) from just smelling. I find it to be fitting for all seasons, depending on the vibe you want it to give.

Tested the perfume, bought the body spray. Neither are long lasting, but the longevity on the body spray is abysmal, obviously...spray it on the skin, it projects louder. ~3hrs for the EDP. I really think it's a fantastic composition of notes. The iris is perfect here. Honestly, if I didn't already have 20+ perfumes, I'd save up for the EDP. Gorgeous scent, just sexy...

it's a dark fruity scent. i cen smell the juicy raspberry mixed with iris and tonka bean. this perfume is fruity but with dark vibe so it can give you mysterious vibe. suitable for night occassion but somehow when you wear this at afternoon, it's still okay because it doesnt give you nauseous feels i like this perfume a lot!!

I got the roll-on and it packs a punch! It's a fun, pretty, happy scent that's perfect for celebrations. It reminds me a little of Black Opium, but Tease is more powerful and it also reminds me of I Love New York For Her in the bright pink bottle. The berry note is delicious, but not immature. Really enjoyable scent.

So, I owned a 1.7 fl oz bottle of this scent and absolutely hated it. It did smell like plastic and lasted for about an hour. I also happen to own a mini bottle of this and the scent from it is quite lovely. It's super sweet and lasts hours. I was surprised by how good it smells when comparing it to the large bottle.

Gorgeous rendition of the og Tease. The raspberry is definitely more syrupy to me than fresh. The iris is sexy and the tonka base adds that dark vanilla sensuality to it. I love this and this is definitely one of my favorites from VS.

this perfume is so hot. it has a black opium vibe. it is heavy, and formal. only for nighttime. and such a fall/winter scent. it smells like menthol, soda again, the color purple. id say its boozy and perfect to wear to a jazz club.

The whipped body cream is the best product from this line ... The scent is wow I agree with the comment below, it has a patchouli feel to it. That's why I'm layering it with patchouli scents...

This is a sweet, sexy scent. It's playful and unoffending. I sometimes wear it right out of the shower and before bed. Calming scents help me relax after a long work day.

This. Is. Amazing. One of the best releases by Vs. this is soooo good. So warm sexy fruity and grown. I love this. Perfect candy scent. Sugary sweet and sexy.

Sometimes it smells like chocolate. This fragrance is just amazing. Smells like raspberry first then becomes a kind of chocolate raspberry

The whipped body cream was one of the best products with this scent. I love this so much. Deep and sensual for sure

Fleur de nuit by La nuit Tresor- Lancome are layering great

This was a blind buy. It’s good, but nothing more . The longevity is mild & sits close to skin ( good for those who don’t like loud scents) The first initial sprays are nauseating , patience is definitely necessary for the nauseating initial sprays to simmer down. It is pretty & feminine it’s just not a fave of mine. I’m glad to have her apart of my fragrance collection though. Sometimes I’m in the mood for a skin close scent & this fits for that. Tonka is very bold in her ,the iris is present aswell just not as potent as Tonka bean. The raspberry is lingering in the background . Projection is not something you’re going to get with this fragrance besides the first few sprays. It does linger nicely on skin as I’ve mentioned. I paid $90 for this Canadian , so I do feel this is a little expensive for the quality you get. I will enjoy her, & am glad to have her while she lasts but unfortunately I will not be repurchasing. S e xy little things Noir tease was a million times better. Why on earth would they replace that classic with this instead? It’s like a watered down version of my favourite previous version. Don’t get me wrong I Like her just not in love with her . Don’t blind purchase this one. Try it first ! 💕

Upon first spray, this comes off fruity, sweet, and peppery. I was not expecting the spiciness. The initial spray almost reminds me of Soap & Glory's Original Pink perfume, with that same fruity peppery scent, only a bit darker for the VS version. Upon dry down, you can pick up on the tonka bean and some residual spice. It is ever so slightly powdery, likely due to the iris, though I do not think this is a floral perfume - I can hardly detect it. As an earlier review mentioned, the dry down smells very, very similar to YSL Mon Paris - tonka / warm vanilla with some depth. Longevity is decent, but projection is fairly close to the skin after the first hour. I don't mind this entirely as its dry down is a tad heavier than the opening, but it is a bit disappointing considering the price. I think its name fits pretty well, it's sweet but also dark. Not sure if this will stay in my collection for a long time, as the dry down may be a bit heavy / generic for me, but I am enjoying it so far. ETA: I will likely be returning this. Longevity actually is not as great as I had first thought, and the dry down is a bit much for me. Will likely be returning. If you like Mon Paris, you may like this. Unfortunately, I do not.

It’s a pretty straightforward scent, with juicy raspberry for the top note, powdery iris in the heart, and tonka giving it a touch of sweet stability and warmth. The notes play together really well in the drydown; it’s addicting, I can’t stop sniffing. I bought the body mist and rollerball in this scent (rollerball was on sale for $9) and they were worth every penny. I didn’t expect crazy sillage or longevity at that price point, although it is decent. It’s a nice feminine scent for colder weather — it would probably be too much when it’s warmer. I enjoy these VS cheapies for just wearing around the house. Feminine and sweet. I could see younger women using this, but I’m in my 30s and I’m enjoying it too. It’s not particularly “dark” and works well during the day as well. I might grab a full bottle with my $20 off coupon next week, but I wouldn’t pay full price for it. These Tease bottles are so gorgeous; I’m tempted to buy them all just because they’re so pretty.

Sweet, sexy, and surprisingly well-balanced; candy noir is the perfect name for it. I agree with other reviewers that there’s some patchouli vibes in this, I suspect the earthiness of the iris and tonka is contributing to that. I don’t like strong patchouli and thankfully it isn’t strong at all. Someone also said it reminds them of a chocolate raspberry dessert and I can see why. Definitely no chocolate in this but the dark-chocolate-like earthiness, jammy raspberry, and vanilla-like tonka give that vibe for sure. I bet this would be good layered with a chocolate scent. The longevity is a little bit lacking for the price though, not sure if I’ll repurchase.

I mainly get the raspberry and iris, a bit more fruity than floral on me. It’s not that sweet either so I can see this being a good spring/summer fragrance. Actually reminds me a bit of Arianas Ari from how fruity they both are, but that one is a bit sweeter than this one. It lasts around 4-5 hours until I have respray and it doesn’t project that much. It is a very light scent so you may want to overspray, but be careful when doing so because this scent can easily cause a headache (like most perfumes lol but for me this one very easily can give me headaches)

Haters gonna hate. The only reason they underrate Tease Candy Noir is that it is not their typical vanilla. I own both fragrance and body mist. Tease Candy Noir smells like 'succulent' & 'deep violet', and that is a love from me. This scent stands out from the rest, not in any way juvenile or sugary. Better than the screechingly sharp Mon Paris, this one is rather a close relative of Scandalous and Midnight Rain, with a soft woodsy tone underneath. I use it whenever I crave violet fruit refreshment goodness.

i like it! like a lot of people i was expecting it to be a lot more sweet than it is, but its still sweet-ish. i smell no nail polish whatsoever lol, its a nice scent! i smell plenty of iris and a little raspberry to give it some sweetness, but not really any tonka bean. but to be fair, i am relatively new to fragrances and i couldn't tell you what tonka bean smells like. it's nice for when you take showers at night and like to smell good, especially if your night is gonna be busy hint hint lol. 8/10

Yep, this definitely smells like candy! One-dimensional and generic, but that's not a bad thing. Everyone should have a sweet, simple fragrance that isn't challenging or weird. I won't be purchasing this one for myself since I've found other fragrances in this category that I like better, but it would make for a great gift. To me, it smells like whipped cream and licorice. It's sweet, but not overpoweringly so. Definitely leans more into nighttime, but casual.

Overall, it has a very beautiful iris note shining through. I'm not sure if I'm the only one who is picking up on a zesty note? I don't know if it's coming from the raspberry but it's almost as though it has a smooth orange scent to it. Besides that, it still smells really good. I wouldn't really recommend this fragrance for a middle school girl. This is definitely an elevated Victoria's Secret Perfume.

Unapologetically feminine. This is first VS scent that I like, usually they smell extremely plasticky to me. It reminds of Nanette by Nanette Lepore, very sweet, but with a strong woody backbone. Raspberry note not is not realistic, more like a lollipop version but it works here. Sweet woody scents feel very comforting in fall-winter season, hadn't I already have Nanette, I would picked it up.

Definitely my favorite of the Tease collection. While it’s similar to the original tease, this one is much sweeter, hence the name - Candy Noir. This scent also reminds me of Into the Night from Bath and Body Works and I love to layer the fine fragrance mist with Candy Noir. This is definitely a “going out” scent and I think it fits best with winter time.🖤 🍬

I don't get how people are calling this a dark berry scent but that could just be my nose (Rip covid nose). To me it's a fresh blackberry with warmth (Probably the Tonka) and a (very) slight syrupy smell to it. The iris is definitely there with the a slight powdery scent that lingers after the rest has gone away.

Really really pretty. More night time feel to it. Like the name says, very sweet. The tonka and raspberry shine the most to me. Gives me La Vie Est Belle vibes but younger, sweeter, warmer, less serious almost like it mixed with Ari. It has been done before and doesn’t last long but it is really lovely.

I actually quite enjoy this smell, but it is too generic to me. I already got several others that smell too similar to justify buying this with the poor longevity ratings. That being said, if I did not already have several similar fragrances- then I would toooootallly buy this lol!

This scent gives me dark, sexy vibes. It's deep yet the raspberry gives it a playfulness. The iris is the star here to my nose. It's not a very long lasting fragrance. I like to use it for layering to add depth to other scents I'm wearing. Definitely a cold weather scent.

simple, nice, and non-offensive. lasts quite awhile which is nice. I think I need to let it macerate a lil bit or something because it smells a lot different than the bottle i tried at the store. Creme Cloud is still the best tho

Smells like a safe trustworthy older woman, seems like it’s due to the iris note. The raspberry note adds a very light fruity smell to it Personally I wouldn’t wear it as its smell seems too mature for a teenage girl

This is a really good dupe for kat von D sinner. It's less soapy but very very close. It's dark, sweet, fruity, some patchouli, really pretty. Very fem but I believe all fragrances can be worn by men and women.

It may be my imagination but I also get patchouli after the other notes have worn off a bit. It's like a raspberry Coco Noir. Will definitely be layering this with patchouli oil for even better effect.

This smells exactly like Diesel Loverdose Red Kiss. It has a nail polish remover undertone, due to a heavy patchouli note. This is way too screechy with a hint of old lady for me. Hard pass.

This reminds me a lot of Narciso Rodriguez For Her and Her. Very feminine with a lightly sweet, fresh, musky scent profile. Easily one of my favorites from VS.

Raspberry and a soft iris combo. Very pretty. I enjoy the Creme Cloud version better though. I think a lot of people sleep on VS fragrances for some reason.
