Vanilla Amber Bourbon

Not as amber heavy as I thought, to compare it - midnight amber glow is more amber heavy also with vanilla & bourbon notes. This is very boozy & sweet, hard to pinpoint vanilla exactly but I’d more so say there’s some creamy note that one can compare to vanilla - but this is amazing, I have nothing that smells like this. It’s like thick, extremely sweet syrupy caramel with a mature kick. It’s almost edible smelling, but everything you could ever want in a more mature gourmand. I bought two lotions & two mists and I’m so happy about this product. So far I’ve layered the lotion with the berry santal silk mist & that was a delicious combo. I smelled like caramelized almonds. I highly recommend this although it might already be sold out, I wish I got more than two sets because we know VS doesn’t tend to repackage their stuff. It was an instant love for me as soon as I smelled it, I knew I needed to order more. It’s very heavy though and you have to be okay with that to wear it. I’m also thinking of pairing it with midnight amber glow, pumpkin pecan waffles, vanilla mocha martini, maybe even in the stars. Gorgeous fragrance.

this isn't what i was expecting but it's soooo good! i thought this would be similar to cozy vanilla bourbon from bath and body works, but this is fruitier and it's really unique (in my collection at least). i'm not sure if the orchid in this is just pulling very sweet and tart or if there are unlisted fruity notes, but there's a cranberry note or something in this scent. normally, i'm a fruity fragrance hater, but this is so addictive. the vanilla bourbon and amber just make this fragrance so silky smooth and the bourbon note is so true-to-life. i don't get a distinct/dominant vanilla or orchid, but i'm sure they're just sweetening up the scent and adding some nuance. longevity and projection are pretty solid with this mist too! this is such a sexy boozy scent imo, perfect for winter and fall :) this is basically what i expected sweet whiskey (which i found super screechy) to be lol

I was pleasantly surprised when I received this scent (blind buy purchase). The initial scent that I picked up was on the floral-fruity side, which smelled almost like a sophisticated jam/jelly. After spraying, the scent dries down to a boozy-vanilla scent, which I've found smells slightly different depending on the individual wearing this fragrance. The scent's overall vibe is sexy from the bourbon vanilla, yet still playful with the fruity notes. Also is very long lasting (compared to other body sprays), and sticks to clothing very well. I really love pairing this scent with the Olay Black Currant and Orchid body wash, and the B&BW Warm Vanilla Sugar body cream. This is my current fall/winter fave scent, really hoping Victoria's Secret brings back this scent someday so I can buy a whole bunch <33

This was one of my most often worn and loved smells for this winter. It is sweet, warm, boozy and heavy. I could pick the underlying vanilla and bourbon scent plus a warm, addictive, almost fruity one. I ordered it along with the candied bare vanilla which is sweeter and cakey and was the most hyped, but, come on, this was much more interesting. Lets say the candied one ended up for my daughter and the vanilla bourbon for me. Ordered 2 more bottles. As soon as we entered spring though, it went into the drawer to be used for next winter.

I saw this is Mom's room and had to smell it because I liked the bare vanilla from VS. I enjoy this scent, it's very sweet and the amber note overpowers the vanilla notes. If you like sweet scents and amber, you'll like this one. Used they brought this back.

I LOVE THIS I’M OBSESSED AND I NEED A PERFUME DUPE FOR IT IMMEDIATELY. it’s the right amount of boozy and sweet and it’s so luxurious and i hate that this is discontinued. i’m afraid of using it still

Adore this scent for all seasons! I was never much of a perfume wearer until I tried this one. Stays on all day and holds well on clothes. So sad they discontinued this one :(

Warm, dark, cozy, moody, boozy, sexy and not too sweet. Mature, beautiful, ambery vanilla.

Tbh smells like Vaseline cocoa lotion a bit synthetic a bit fruity but after 10-15 you can get fresh kind of amber rather than dark I think that’s why it’s giving fruity vibe but yeah vanilla is they and yep after settling down this definitely smell like Vaseline cocoa lotion but better quality

this smells incredibly sweet and boozy. this doesn’t have a bourbon vanilla note thought , it has a BOURBON WHISKEY note and a vanilla note. this along with midnight bloom are in the top for longest lasting VS body mists for me.

this is my favourite vs mist. too bad it smells exactly like toasted sugar from bodycology which i already have. might get this after i run out of the bodycology.

I love the scent but it has absolutely NO longevity or sillage. Disappointing. Update: a/o April 2026 it’s a little better. Maybe it’s gotten a little stronger.

It's a very boozy, sweet scent. Not as strong on the vanilla for my tastes but definitely amazing for date nights in summer

Not vanilla, not gourmand. It's literally a typical fruity fragrance that you find every now and then from any brand. The name and the notes are hugely misleading because this is not a vanilla at all!

This is a fruity fragrance, don't be fooled. It's like an apple or cranberry covered in vanilla. That bourbon note & definitely present but it's like sweet whisky.

Thought it would’ve smell like cozy vanilla bourbon (love that one so much) but it’s actually fruity and not my cup of tea at all . Was expecting a nice warm boozy warm vanilla and didn’t get that at all very misleading

I just ended up buying extra as it became available on clearance. Still there as of sept 23rd. At first spray i get some fruit that is in buttery sugar. But it stops quickly. It is not a strong amber. Which i appreciate. Because amber can be overwhelming if done too strong. Definitely can smell the bourbon and vanilla. Its sweet. Not too strong. Actually may like it more now than I did 2 years ago. Layers beautifully with very sexy night. Smells similar to good girl supreme. a better version when layered together. Not the same as not the same notes but gives off seductive expensive perfume vibe. Not as strong but similar berry vibe. I love it. But that perfume made me break out. This combo does not!

Can we PLEASE get the fall and winter 2024 releases listed?? They have dropped alot in the last couple of months and for some reason, they are never listed on here!

This kind of (about 20%) reminds me of Dream Bright by B&BW I think it’s the Orchid and Vanilla. But it’s a fantastic winter scent, and very sexy for the night.
