Velvet Petals Shimmer

Velvet Petals Shimmer smells SOOO good!!! It's the perfect mix of sweet florals and creamy almond, making it smell incredibly feminine. The sweetness is soft and pretty, but not in a childish way. It smells like a woman who's, fun, cheerful, and effortlessly pretty all at once. This was actually the very first Victoria's Secret fragrance I ever owned. If I could only choose one VS body mist forever, it'd honestly be this one. I still remember walking into a Victoria's Secret store as a teenager and absolutely falling in love with it. I was begging my mom to buy it for me because I was just so amazed by the whole experience haha. It was definitely one of those phases where all you wanted was to feel like a grown woman, and owning a VS body mist somehow felt like the ultimate dream. The only downside is the sprayer. Since it's a shimmer mist, it doesn't really create a fine mist—it kind of squirts the liquid instead, so the application isn't the nicest. But it's sweet, feminine, timeless, and honestly one of the best body mists Victoria's Secret has ever made. 🩷

Personalmente uno de los mejores body mist que tuve de Victoria secret, tiene un olor a rosas muy agradable como si estuvieras oliendo desde la flor directamente se siente la almendra cuando se deja reposar en la piel y lo huelo un poco atalcado, muy dulce pero no llega a ser empalagoso, femenino y sobre todo muy delicado, si sos muy femenina y te gusta la onda coquette lo recomiendo totalmente, en mi opinión va para cualquier ocasión pero mas que recomendado para una cita, lo que más me gusta también es que me lo halagan siempre en cualquier lugar que vayas vas a destacar

Basically the same as Velvet Petals but with fine glitter! Maybe a lil lighter? Or closer to the OG from late 2017? Bought this one as an eighth year anniversary of getting my first Velvet Petals bottle when VS had that Wild Flora collection (and when me and my fiancé were a new couple) *happy tears* where did the time go? I’m getting married this year so I want to make sure I am always sparkly! Lmao probably won’t use this as my wedding fragrance but I’ll try to use it often for outings.

At first, I thought I was noseblind to this, especially immediately after smelling the OG. This is way milder and less fruitier/sweeter than the non shimmer one. Almond I get leans to be more floral than gourmand. Smells clean and gives off spring vibes. Sillage and longevity is poor but I don't mind reapplying/overspraying it. Velvet Petals Shimmer is something that can be worn in the early mornings or at the gym. Nothing offensive.

get sooo many compliments when i wear this, definitively one of my most complimented fragrances which is weird because its a cheap bodyspray but a win is a win. when first spraying it super duper alcoholy, but after letting it sit it turns into this nice sweet almondy floral. dont think its suitable if you enjoy more sensual perfumes cus this radiates girly cutesy energy

this smells just like girl baby shampoo and i personally LOVE IT!! so girly and feminine! doesnt suit women over 25 tho! extremely juvenile

I am wearing this right now...you get a strong note of almond,with some florals...I also love the shimmer.

I usually don't like floral scents but this one is very nice; feminine, delicate and a bit fruity? It reminds me a lot of pure seduction, velvet petals is like its older, more mature sister. it’s sweet and you can def smell the almond note. I recommend buying glitter mists from VS cause i think they last longer than the regular ones but the spraying can be a bit annoying cause they have thicker consistency.

sparkly, floral creamy almond. ♡ I do agree that this one is milder than the original. I'd wear this whenever I go out with my friends. I slightly douse myself with it to last a bit longer.

shes feminine and sweet. obviously not long lasting or with big sillage at all lol but the smell itself is nice.

Mine smells nothing like the notes from here 😭😭 I expected a soft, powdery gourmand floral scent. Except I just got a strong smell of (exotic ish?) fruits and something vaguely floral. It smells just like those baby girl shampoos which makes it too juvenile for my taste. Smells clean but not in the way I expected.. and the shimmer particles are nice but don't last too long on skin. And I don't get any nutty notes at all. 🥲🥲 Everything is just wrong with it

It's a mixture of nauseatingly artificial almond and something vaguely floral. I really, really dislike the scent. However, I couldn't put that I 'hate' this because of the bottle. It's STUNNING. The entire line is. As much as I hate VS as a misogynistic, transphobic company... Some of their products are very pretty. I only buy mine second hand on eBay, as to not add to their revenue - I'd never give them sales. I'll still collect the 'shimmer' line because it looks so pretty on a dresser.

This is amazing 😍 I have the newer bottle design of 2023/2024. I actually had to shake it and then it smelled incredibly beautiful girly sparkling feminine amazing 😱😍✨ To me it smells similar to the non-shimmer version, it is the same scent <3 and the bottle ist just gorgeous with that shimmer ✨🌷😍

Originally from the Wild Flora collection and it was almond glaze with creamy sandalwood, but now it's a slightly gourmand almond fruity floral. I prefer the non shimmer version.

I am still torn about this scent. it feels very juvenile and way too sweet but at the same time I feel feminine and put together when I wear it.
