Velvet Petals

Ummm okay wow. This perfume smells of warm florals and almonds. It's sweet and comforting and definitely makes me feel feminine and girly. I don't know what praline is in perfumes but I do get a gourmand touch to this it's smells almost chocolatey or cakey (probs the praline). It does have sillage I can feel it wrapping around me. With 5 sprays four on the clothes and one in the middles of neck it lasts for about 1 hour so far 10:30am to 11:30 am with moderate sillage however I can definitely smell it on me. It's not completely intimate as some people are saying well at least not to me. Well my body warms up alot so it definitely projects and last longer because of that especially when I am moving alot. 🥰 It projects for 3 hours max but not intensely but the scent sticks on the clothing for hours. Its def something you would carry in a purse for touching up after 3 maybe 4 hours but it is well worth it as the smell is super yummy and inviting. You have to spray more than five time though and maybe you will get better sillage. It is nice to refresh clothes as it just sticks on you after that 3hr mark of moderate sillage and then it slowly mellows down and you get hints of the scent every now and then. It definitely isn't beast mode but hey it is a body mist after all. It's a good scent for causal day and places where people may have sensitive noses such as closed indoor settings as it projects well and mindfully. 🥰

a safe option for floral lovers. i tend to find body mists very alcoholic and synthetic but i haven't found that to be the case with this. i blind bought this because i found it for quite cheap and im really happy with it. it's very floral, i get hints of roses and orchids. there's this lovely nuttiness in the background that kinda makes this a perfect balance between floral and gourmand. it's pleasing without being overly sweet; it's like an edible flower almost. the notes of this are soooo lovely i would love to see this as an actual perfume rather than a mist; it uses notes that i personally love so much and have blended them to combine so well with each other. obviously as a mist this can only go so far in terms of projection and longevity. like i said before, i'd love for VS to make this into a perfume with a stronger formula. the way they've blended florals with notes of praline is so gorgeous. as a mist, i didn't really expect this to last long or project far. velvet petals is girly and sweet with a gourmand dimension without being cloying. i definitely think this is a good layering mist and i will be using this often!

I’ve been wearing this fragrance since early 2018 (When VS had the Wild Flora collection). It reminds me of the first time I met my fiance and all the lovely dates we went on. Til this day he always says I smell good when I wear it. It’s floral and has a gourmand touch. It’s definitely a compliment getter for me. My first bottle reads: “Sexy-warm woods, A touch of cozy gourmand. Wrapped in desire.” Couldn’t have been described better. Edit: I have noticed the regular (not shimmer) has more of a fruity opening than the OG Wild Flora version, I feel maybe the shimmer is closest to WF. But they all smell the same. I have three bottles of VP. My first being the Wild Flora, second being one I bought in 2021-2023? And third being the shimmer version I bought in Jan 2026. Maybe my first bottle has just macerated since then, but it has a more woody opening and dry down. I’m surprised the WF hasn’t gone rancid but I have kept it in a cool place away from sunlight. I’m glad VS decided to keep this fragrance from the Wild Flora collection.

Mmmm~, an absolute love 💝 I’m a gourmand gurl so I never picked this up because I didn’t want to smell too floral. It wasn’t until I smelled it on someone else that i finally saw the light. The other reviews are spot on. It’s very soft and girly. Like I can’t overstate that enough lol, a pretty girl fragrance, and my husband really likes it! To me it smells pink, glittery, soft. It’s not loud, it’s not pure seduction. It’s much fresher than something like Bare Vanilla, and wayyyyyyy better than Warm Vanilla Sugar. I also didn’t understand the lactonic note people are talking about but I realized this just manifests as a creamy enveloping feeling 😅 I wear this when I feel my girliest and want to exude softness and flirty, but a coy flirty. Like batting eyelashes lol. Btw this is nothing special and quite basic, it smells similar to any “soft” “cashmere” “snowflake” thing out there. But still a masterpiece to me. A perfume would be ideal, but i’m happy as long as this is never discontinued.

I feel as though this is an underrated VS body mist but it's one of their best. I can't get enough of that delicious opening spray. The scent smells so familiar but I can't remember what it reminds me of. It definitely doesn't smell anything like brown sugar and fig by BBW. They're not similar at all. I'm hoping tease heartbreaker is a deeper EDP version of this because the longevity and sillage for this mist aren't that great but the scent is to die for. I can't believe I'm just discovering this. Edit: I figured it out! This has the dna of la vie est belle/flowerbomb without patchouli and almond blossom as the star. I found a scent break down after scouring the web: Top notes: Almond (sugared), Starfruit Heart notes: Coconut milk, Lotus (blue), Apricot blossom Base notes: Sandalwood, Musks, Vanilla (Madagascar). This scent does smell very complex and I am desperate for something similar that's in EDT or EDP strength. If anyone has any recommendations, please share!

Sürdüğüm her an etrafa misler gibi kokular yayılıyor. Çevremde bu kokuyu bende çok seviyor. Bazen kurabiye gibi kokuyorsun, bazen çiçek gibi kokuyorsun iltifatı alıyorum. Genel beğeniye çok uygun bir koku. Bazen bare vanilla ile karıştırıyorum ve onunla da çok yakıştırıyorum. Kalıcılığı maalesef çok güzel değil, ama yemin ederim, o kadar güzel kokuyor ki asla dert etmiyorum. 3 4 saatte bir tazeliyorum ve herkes çok beğeniyor. sıktıktan 2 saat sonra tene yakın kokuyor ama o halini de çok seviyorum. her zaman benimle kalmasını isteyeceğim bir koku.

as someone who prefers more vanilla heavy scents, this mist is so gorgeous! the floral notes are so smooth, it's like a milky, light, cute sort of scent, perfect for all year round. i didn't expect to like it because of the florals but wow!! it's well blended, such an easy grab, if i wanna smell good without thinking too much this is what i go for! it's a crowd pleaser and non-offensive. for me, it lasts the whole day, but i've had a bottle for over a year now, and i find that sprays that i use a lot just tend to last longer as time passes. i do also smell it on myself throughout the day so i think it has strong silage! it's clean and fresh as well as being a little lactonic and milky, and i'd totally repurchase it when i run out - 9/10 ❤️

Velvet Petals has been a staple for me ever since it came out years ago! It’s nostalgic, sweet, soft, feminine, powdery- in the best way possible. It’s like a floral almond but very much skin scent. The almond adds a lactonic-ish note that pairs surprisingly well with fruity cream lotions. IMO it wears and matches super well with Strawberry Dream by EOS, however it’s not an exact scent just similar and blends so well together. The only thing about this mist is that it doesn’t last long, at least not as long as Warm & Cozy, Coconut Passion, Love Spell or Pure Seduction. It’s way less offensive than those lol. Perfect for work settings, working out, etc. I highly recommend this. I’m still looking for an edp that smells similar

I just discovered Velvet Petals this year and I'm sad I didn't pay it any attention before!! This one it's simply ✨️DELICIOUS✨️ I thought it was the going to be the most floral of their entire core line and I'm not the biggest dan of florals, but I find it more of a light, girly and lactonic gourmand, it's not cloying at all, it's just soft and cozy. I don't have the words to express how pretty this is although a basic and linear scent, it's such an easy everyday wear. The only problem is that it doesn't last at all. Bare Vanilla lasts up to 5 hours on my skin and on my clothes until the next day, this one disappears from my skin in 30 minutes. Not even the body cream makes it lasts.

This is a creamy almond scent, with just the right amount of sweetness and just the right amount of floral. The notes are " Lush Blooms and Almond Glaze" .To me the creamy milky sweet almond is the star of the show. It's a warmer scent, that is not too warm/thick/heavy/gourmand-y. It is not too nutty either. It's just right. This is great for the fall and winter months, and maybe a casual date night in the spring. This is a very feminine scent and will garner many compliments. Probably lasts about 3.5-4 hours, but its normal to have to reapply body mists. I always keep perfume in my purse anyways. People will smell this on you. Its not a skin scent at all. One of my favs from VS

Velvet Petals is honestly one of the prettiest scents Victoria's Secret has ever made. 🤍🌸 The creamy almond blended with soft florals smells SO good. It's sweet, feminine, and comforting without ever feeling sugary or gourmand. The almond gives it this smooth, almost velvety creaminess, while the florals keep it light, airy, and elegant. I owned Velvet Petals Shimmer first, and the glitter made the whole experience feel so much more fun, I have to admit the original is much nicer to use. Since it's just the regular body mist, the sprayer creates a fine. It just feels smoother and more satisfying to spray. This is def my signature scent when it comes to Victoria's Secret. 💕

Pinterest made me buy this. No regrets! I imagine drinking a glass of warm sweetened, almond milk in a field of white florals. This lasts the whole day on me but the sillage is weak. Regardless of how many sprays/reapplications you do, it doesn't leave a trail. Its sweetness doesn't go sour nor cloying on me (I live in a tropical country). Depending on the weather, sometimes almond/praline notes or coconut milk notes dominate. Either way, the floral notes remain minimal. I love to layer this with my white floral fragrances to get that sweet, floral scent. I get how this is likened to the Ariana Grande Cloud. They both give the sweet, milky vibe, but they are NOT THE SAME.

I wanted to try wearing a new perfume that wasn't too loud but was still pleasant and this scent is exactly that. I'm not a huge fragrance person but I will say this smells REALLY nice. After reading the reviews I thought it would be a really heavy gourmand scent with barely any florals but that's not true. The almond milky notes definitely run the show but the florals add an innocent femininity which makes this such a pretty scent. This leans more towards winter but you could get away with this all year round. It's a very natural scent and people will think you just normally smell nice and not "is she wearing a perfume" 10/10 fragrance :)

I bought this hoping it's gonna smell similar to BBW's Pink Cashmere (which my discontinued favorite from BBW) but this one smells creamier, almost lactonic. I LOVE IT! This is such a simple, easy-to-reach scent when I want to just smell good, soft, and pretty. It smells very smooth and so soooo girly. I like using it with a vanilla perfume oil on my pulse points and this mist all over my skin and clothes. It creates the prettiest, sweet, and creamy scent bubble. <3 I find this impossible to overspray because it doesn't trigger my sneezes and headaches no matter how much I spray this.

my friend has this and it smells INCREDIBLEEE okay i know that it's a victoria's secret body mist and you can tell, but this just smells so good. it's definitely sweet but it smells really really nice. as someone who is very new to the world of fragrances, i cannot tell whether or not it is high quality. it just smells really nice. it definitely suits teen girls and not adults, so i think that this would be a nice gift for a teen girl who you don't know very well. it just smells incredible, and it's pretty affordable so it's a great option if you want something for everyday use.

This is my FAVOURITE Victoria's secret fragrance, I wish it had more longevity and sillage😭😭 It smells so feminine and sweet, the perfect combo of sweet girly and seductive sexy vibes. It can literally be worn everyday and any season, it's a very universal smell. To make it last longer consider buying a Victoria's Secret velvet petals body lotion and applying it to your neck and wrists before spraying the body mist. The formula is so simple yet smells sophisticated and amazing, we lack such scents nowadays. PLEASE someone make it an actual longlasting perfume, I BEG🧎🏼♀️

Sweet almond, sweet almond ,sweet almond! And some floral note. This one is perfect!! Can be definitely worn all year around,all day,yet Can be a -little- heavy for day,but perfect for the night. Smells like an expensive floral with the right amount of sweetness ,perfect is too small of a word for this. Only downside is it is more like a close to skin scent that doesn't project much,doesn't last that long either 2 hours in an I find myself forced to dig my nose into my wrist to smell it,but reapplying isnt much of a problem for the scent I get,This is quite beautiful

To me this smells like a fresh, sweet pink floral. The flower smell is not strong or overbearing. It has pretty good lasting power and projection for a body spray. I sprayed my mattress topper with it before changing my bedding this morning and I can smell the delicate fresh smell at the end of the day. There is a bit of a powdery makeup smell too. I wish I knew the notes - not just “floral and praline”. VS should def make a perfume with this scent. It smells like there could be roses and violets in the mix. Definitely love this and will keep buying. ❤️❤️❤️

Its weird how theres comments saying that this smells very bad even tho i used to love this smell so much and i still do. I tried many VS mists and by far this one is my fav. I mean im more into sweet candy like scents so it makes sense i guess. Although my taste in perfume seems to be pretty childish to me since i prefer kinda weak not overwhelming sweet scents, but this one is a bit stronger, so it really feels like its not only for young girls, but i can also imagine grown ups wearing this since its a pretty elegant scent. Anyways, i reccomend it!

Went to the store to smell all VS offerings, and this is the only scent that drew me in. I've never made the decision to buy a fragrance so quickly. Very feminine and gentle, lightly sweet. Creamy, powdery and nutty base covered with soft, sheer flower petals. This is great for spraying on after an evening shower while the weather is chilly, it's so cozy and comforting. I feel like the longevity is perfect when used this way. I think I was partly drawn to this because it smells a bit similar to the drydown of Lalique l'Amour.

i would never reach for this in the store simply because of how its advertised. ive never been a floral perfume person and the name ‘velvet petals’ isn’t something that would usually catch my eye. but i was gifted a body lotion of this for christmas and i HAD to buy the spray because its just so so good. its so milky and fresh at the same time . quite literally the most perfect spring scent EVER. i have a hard time picking apart the exact notes but the vanilla goes perfectly with whatever flower is in this. i love it

by far the best VS body spray offered (except those old PINK square body sprays, those were heavenly lol). I have been using it for a few years and i’m still not tired of it lol. I even walked in the room after my cousin sprayed it and asked what smelt so good, not realizing it’s a body spray I use nearly everyday lol. it’s simple and sweet! the body lotion also layers well with floral scents. I would say this is my #1 mist and bare vanilla is my #2 (that lotion is great for layering with gourmand, vanilla scents!)

This is one of my favourite scents of all time. It's a dreamy sweet, creamy floral. Super feminine, comforting, PINK! I am very sensitive to scents and florals usually give me a headache, but this one does not at all! This is a crowd pleaser and a safe blind buy. I can't think of why anyone would dislike this scent. I'm still looking for a perfume version of Velvet Petals that smells like this, but stronger. The longevity and silage of this is abysmal, which is the only downside to this mist.

absolutely love this one. i didn't own it until now since i have snowflakes and cashmere, which is very very similar, but this is just a bit fresher and more floral. it's a perfect year-round scent that's got enough depth for cooler weather but enough floral freshness for spring. it smells a bit generic but it's also got a creamy depth and a general coziness that's hard to dislike. longevity and performance are on the stronger side for victoria's secret's mists surprisingly.

Atp my signature scent, I get so sick of other fragrances but not this one! It’s so feminine, it reminds of a sweet girly girl who favorite color is baby pink and is the sweetest person you’ll ever meet. It’s perfect for year round, last quite a long while on me too while paired with the lotion. Out of all the VS mist, this one is by far is my favorite. My husband loves it too, and he’s picky with fragrances! Not too floral, not too sweet, just perfect!

I absolutely LOVE Velvet petals! It’s my number 1 body spray from Victoria’s Secret besides: Pure seduction, Pure Seduction unwrapped, PINK Cool and Bright, Moonlight Bloom, Tease Heartbreaker and Passion struck. Velvet petals is a sweet and warm and gourmand smell. And it smells SO SEXY. And I always get compliments on it when I wear it. It lasts me awhile too as long as I spray it on both my skin, hair and clothes., I would 100 percent recommend!!

This was my signature scent for a really long time, it honestly felt different every time I sprayed it on. A nice blend of sweet and floral, a perfect soft girly smell. I reaaally wish this was a perfume though!! It would benefit so much from being a little stronger and longer lasting! If that were the case I'd probably wear it for the rest of my life... I hope to find a perfume similar to this because it's just such a nice signature scent

UGH I LOVE THIS SMMMM!!!!!! WHY CAN'T THEY MAKE A PERFUME OF THIS genuinely one of a kind smell it was love at first sniff which never happens to me I always put this on whatever I'm wearing and people always ask what it is I just wish it would last longer :((( can't blame it though it's a mist, I'll will always repurchase this. Smells like a sexy, flirtatious popular girl in school who radiates effortless charm and constant laughter.

I love this fragrance so much, it is a beautiful sweet gourmand scent, that literally smells like a dessert. It reminds me of a delicious strawberry cake with vanilla frosting and topped with a generous heaping of powdered sugar. It smells great and is never sickeningly sweet or cloying, just light and breezy. Silage is good, and it lasts for around a few hours, which is typical for most Victoria’s Secret body mists.🤍💗 Rating: 5/5

I just love this scent so much. I wish it had an Eau de Parfum counterpart, or at least one somewhere by another brand that smelled just like this. For now I’ll have to layer with Good Girl Blush or Yara. Sigh... (if any of you find it, please let me know! :) It’s the perfect balance of sweet, floral, clean, powdery, a tad nutty. Very soft feminine, very dreamy, and as the name implies, a very “velvety” and smooth fragrance.

I have had a fair few of the vs body mists and this one is by far my favorite, as with any body spray the longevity is not great, but just be sure to moisturise your skin first to get the longest time out of it. Such a sweet and creamy scent, great for layering with perfumes if you want to sweeten them up a bit, I've had my bottle for over a year and there's still plenty left so I think its good value for money.

I like this scent, barely used it before. But I appreciate the florals and the sweetness. It’s just right, I hope there’s a perfume version of it! Today, I fell deeply inlove with it when I layered it with Sol De Janeiro’s 62. It amped up SDJ a bit and made it more floraly and brighter. I think it’s my new routine now. :) Now, I’m so tempted to get its lotion and excited to smell the wonders of the combo!

But regardless, the notes blend amazingly well together. It’s not juicy sweet the way Love Spell and Pure Seduction are. It’s more in the Bare Vanilla / Amber Romance camp of soft, comfortable scents. I’m in love. 😍

Well rounded warm creamy floral scent. Upon initial spray I do get only alcohol, but when it sets down after 30 seconds or so, it's a beautiful scent. Warm, floral, sweet. I love the fact that it's not sharp at all. So airy, yet lasts a moderate time. This is my 2nd favorite after midnight bloom from VS. Can be worn all year round. Epitome of Girly, feminine body mist!

milky, floral and nutty <3 i absolutely adore this i think i'm done being a bare vanilla girl after this. upon the first spritz i get a heavy dose of coconut as well before it settles into a chocolatey perfumey glazed almond piece. i think even though it's good in warmer weather, cold weather will really let it shine. i intend to layer this with this is her by z&v.

I wanted to find a perfume that smells like this so I gave it a nice test and realized the closest thing I already own is actually Cloud by Ariana but remove the ambroxan / you might go nose blind to it issue and amp up some more florals and make it softer. It's that. It's a candied floral. Creamy, sweet, sugary, lightly floral. It's perfect for me!

Perfect for spring or summer!! Nondescript florals, lactonic and sweet. A very feel good scent that lifts your mood and makes you feel nostalgic for weekends spent in the mall with your friends, but also translates easily to any age. Not strong so I douse myself in it. Layers really well with other perfumes and lasts best on clothes and hair

This scent reminds me of warm spring days and clean laundry. I don’t smell praline/chocolate at all! (Thank god!) Instead I perceive a distinct, comforting solar note, mixed with vanilla, powder sugar and spring flowers. The smell is so comforting and warm. I often use it as a room spray in my bedroom. I also love spraying it in my hair.

Velvet petals is the best body mist from Victoria secret! It's smells more like an actual perfume than a body mist to me. It's fresh and youthful but also deep and feminine. The only problem is the longevity. To me it last about 2-3h. I will have to reply soon. I wish it was available in a au de parfum or in a au de toilette.

Very girly and sweet, but not too sweet either.I love this.It is my everyday go-to scent.I like the praline note in this and although I expected it to be very floral, it's actually more of a sweet scent with a floral background, at least on me.Longevity is good too, lasts about 4 hours on me, which is good for a body spray.

This is a fav for me! Velvet Petal strikes the balance of sweet, uncomplicated, but "clean." I've gone through several bottles of this in the past 5 years. I don't get gourmand at all- if anything it feels soapy. Easy blind buy if you love cheap body spray and layering with other fragrances in the sweet and clean realm.

I love this mist SO much it's sweet and floral but not overpowering usually I don't like florals because they usually smell synthetic and overpower all the other notes but this is just perfect I don't even know how to describe it but it gets me so many compliments its so light and feminine every girl needs this

Velvet Petals is my first blind buy from Victorias Secret and it was successful. It's very creamy sweet and floral, but not sharp type of floral. I personally find most of the floral scents very sharp and intense but it was very nice and rounded,kinda gourmand. Worth buying. And mass appealing.

my go-to perfume and i use it almost every day in daily basis night and day.. it's sweet but not overwhelming just right amount of sweet.. i dont really love gourmand scent but i love this one its smells like caramel and a little bit of floral.. this scent suits for all ages and occasion

It smells so delicious to me. I will say that it is not very long lasting and I felt myself having to respray this multiple times throughout the day. I also have to spray A LOT to actually be able to smell it. However, that could just be me going noseblind or something?

A wonderful gourmand. To me it smells like vanilla, nuts, sandalwood, amber, fruits, and a bit of rose. This scent is so lovely. I fell for it as soon as it came out. The body mist last a decent time for the price. I do wish they would make a EDT in this. A+

I love this scent. It is so sweet and feminine...A light, airy breeze of florals and creamy praline. It smells very milky and smooth. A very solid love for me - personally, I think it is the best of Victoria's Secret. I will definitely be repurchasing.
