Very Sexy for Her

My mom gave me her bottle of this and it still smells exactly the same. I was thinking about selling it for collectors but it just smells too good, I can’t part with it. If i could only pick one night fragrance forever this would be it. It really makes me think of the victoria secret makeup line they had. Super smoky eye looks and nighttime vibes. I’d smell this from the bathroom and lancôme juicy tubes when my mom was getting ready to go out for the night. Such a vibe ✨ I really smell every note in this 😻

I felt so grownup wearing this. My mom gave it to me when I was like 14 or so. Rich, a little syrupy, dense, but not cloying, spicy, amber coffee flourmand. I'm not sure what made this so spicy but that adds to the mystique. A little piece of heaven. I haven't smelled the newest formulation, but I have a feeling it would just make me sad, considering the new one only has like 4 notes and is twice as expensive now. Going to grab a vintage bottle while I still can.

I have the original formulation mini version that i got in a holiday edition gift set and it's truly just as the name says: a sexy, musky, sensual, and warm concoction that just screams passion. Just smelling it evokes desires of wanting to put on your best, slinky dress, dress shoes or heels, and going out on a romantic night on the town. It's a perfect Valentine's Day (or rather night) perfume, if you can make it last long enough on you.

O my gosh. I just realized that they changed the formulation. I just bought a bottle of the 2007 one from ebay. ; ( I thought it would smell exactly like this one...oh well. All I know is that this perfume right here has gotten me the most compliments out of any perfume I've ever owned. Guys love it! But so do girls. It was fresh yet sexy!!!

Very Sexy for her... yes it is! To my untrained nose I get the initial citrus aroma for about 30-45 minutes then she goes almost straight to the sultry, sexy base of musk and amber. I don't get much of the fruity smell that people are talking about. Sorry I couldn't be of more help... Victoria's Secret, Very Sexy for her... the name fits!

A complete & utter mistake for VS to reformulate this gem. When this initially released, I wore it every day. It still is to this day, the one fragrance that netted me the most compliments from men & women alike. It just clicked with my chemistry. Sexy, feminine, & refined all at once. I miss this (original formulation) tremendously!

I used every last drop of this perfume. It was such a sexy smell. I definitely made lot of memories while wearing this perfume :p I wore it when from ages 21-25 or so. Its very strong and I wouldn't recommend wearing any time except in the evening and on cool days. It definitely gets strong in the summer.

Love this perfume. This has been my signature perfume for yearsss. Its one of the few perfumes that i could finish a bottle and baught extras. Its a perfume perfect for Night out with your girls or going out with your hot date. Just one smell of this puts me right in party mode lol

This is an all-time favorite of mine. This is a warm, cozy floral with hint of spicy seduction. Alluringly feminine with a nice amber & vanilla dry down. Later versions are more developed and complex, but I’m glad to have found the original version again.

Very Sexy for her .. This version is the best .. I totally hate the pepper in (Very sexy 2007).. It smells fresh spicy, deep and musky, this is the star of summer nights with the best lasting power & sillage over all VS scents.. lovely !

This scent is very woodsy, musky, and warm to the point of being hot. Whenever I wear it, my boyfriend cannot keep his hands off me. He absolutely loves it and requests I wear it all the time. Very Sexy indeed. :)

This was an absolute favorite in high school. It made me feel so mature! Good times. I used the very sexy body mist later on and it wasn't quite the same but yeah... good times.

Used to love this smell 😊 when it first came out

This is one of the first perfumes I ever owned (and still own). I can think of a few perfumes that are more sexy than this one, but Very Sexy is very wearable. On me, I smell a light fruity sweetness with just a hint of spice. After smelling other fruity florals, I noticed that Very Sexy has a similar light aquatic quality that slightly reminds me of the opening notes of Cool Waters. It's subtle, and unless you've tried other fruity perfumes you probably wouldn't notice it, but it's there. The floral notes aid in the building of what I consider a lucious aroma--preventing it from being too fruity and too syrupy. The end notes, to me, are a staple in my choice of perfumes. The combination of vanilla, amber, and musk is always a plus in my book because it allows the perfume to achieve a tenderly sweet, well-rounded sexiness. This is my favorite of the Victoria's Secret line.

I have the body spray to this and when I say it is strong, I MEAN IT! More than two spritz then you'll be choking on the fragrance. I made the mistake today treating Very Sexy for her body spray as any other and drenched myself in it. I ended up tasting the scent in my throat! On clothing it lasts as long as a modern EDT. Note wise, I do not get cappuccino at all. All I smell is a shit-load of florals and the clementine. Believe it or not but my dad bought this for me when I was in middle school. I imagine that every time I wore this to school that I smelled like I was about to turn tricks around the corner.

This is a nice scent, as are most Victoria's Secret fragrances. I don't love it, but like it and think it could be easily worn around others. It is quite musky, about at my musk tolerance limit, especially later when the top/middle notes have dissipated. Unfortunately I don't really detect the top notes actually, cappuccino and clementine? where? Maybe since my bottle is an old one they have died out? I do smell florals, especially mimosa. So it mainly comes off as a powdery, mimosa musk. Pleasant enough, but not a favorite of mine.

I have a love/hate relationship with this perfume. I wore it for the first time on a trip with my ex-boyfriend in the Dead of winter to Canada so it will always remind me of that trip. I don't like it every day. It smells like something my grandmother would wear thinking she was smelling young. But when I want to feel sultry and warm, this manages to creep its way to the top of my choices. A good evening staple. For Her 2 is much younger and fresher smelling and better for daywear.

I had this back in the day, it definitely was a great scent but I couldn’t exactly remember what it smelled like! I am trying to curate all my fragrances through the years and managed to find this version for sale and picked it up! It is still exactly as I remember! Such an interesting combination, clementine and cappuccino. Then some rose, vanilla and amber! It’s a unique blend and definitely a sexy scent. I’d personally keep it for the cooler months but this is a great one!

Why on this earth was this discontinued or reformulated? I have never owned a fragrance with cappucino note and this is amazing on opening with the cappuccino (barely there though). Mimosa, the note I associate with sensuality stands out most from 30 mins into fragrance till hour or so. And the drydown is luscious with musk, vanilla and amber. Somehow I smell leather too in it. This is gem of a fragrance. I love it!!

I disagree with this being for an older woman, other VS perfumes might be (Breathless) but this one is "all ages" IMO :) I quite like it, not my favorite, but will definitely wear it on occasion. Hard to describe the scent, it reminds me of couple Avon perfumes actually, suitable for fall / winter, both day and night.

A sexy perfume for sure, but it's not really a perfume that is unique or sets itself apart from others of this type. I don't get the coffee note that is supposed to be in this one. Instead, it is musky with a dab of vanilla.

Although I do like it all I can get out of it is clementine. I could rub Cuties clementines on me and wouldnt know the difference. I only paid 50 cents at a garage sale (new .25 oz) though so I am not that dissapointed :)

This is the first and only perfume I own that has the word "sexy" on it :). It's sweet and vanillic. I'll say it's pretty lovely, but it's just not my scent. The name sexy is suitable. Night time perfume.

This perfume is SEXY, and would definitely work with someone if they had the right chemistry. Unfortunately, on me it turned into something slightly metallic - warm musk, spices, even citrus, but with a screechy metallic note in there somewhere, as if a green perfume was accidentally thrown in into the drydown. :( BUT it's very wearable, but I can't imagine a teenager wearing this unless they wanted to seduce someone!

When I got this one... It was a blind purchase... just smelled it on the paper strip and seemed really sweet so went for it... Later on when i personally used it... well firstly it doesn't even stay for a couple of hours...then the sweetness was kinda sticky.. So I had to use it as an air-freshner to finish up the bottle :-P

to me this is just a big powdery mess...I don't smell the fruit in this at all. I did have a friend in my hometown who would wear this and it smelled completely different, it did smell sexy on her, but on me this just smells like fresh baby's bum oiled and powdered.. Not my favorite VS sent and I LOVE some others

I had this during my college days. My best friend gifted it to me for my 20th birthday. I remember it as being *seriously* musky. It was great quality (meaning one or two spritzes was enough; three might kill somebody). I liked this scent, but it wasn't a love. It was a little more mature than what I was used to at age 20. I thought I liked my perfumes strong, but this one could be easily overdone. This is a heavy scent with the most noticeable notes being musk, cappuccino, amber, citrus, and more musk. :) V.S. simply doesn't make their fragrances like this any more. This was, no doubt, made by a talented perfumer. The issue I'm having now is whether to buy this. It has popped up for a great price online. I suppose if I don't like it, I could re-sell. But I kinda want this scent to stay back at age 20 for some reason. I'm also a little afraid the muskiness will blow me away again. EDIT 1/17/2018: I recently bought this again, just for old times' sake. It smells just like I remember it, but the musk seems less exaggerated now. This fragrance just doesn't work for me at all. Neither my body chemistry, nor my nose, nor my personal taste is suited to this whatsoever. I let it wear on my skin all day, and it never really become "one with me". It just sat there and stayed very linear, maybe even became sharper. I did not want to go out in public wearing it. To me, it smells nothing like clementines, or any fruits at all. The floral and cappuccino notes are the only thing I can smell. Like someone else mentioned, this is like an expensive leather. Not necessarily the smell of leather, but the feel of leather. I do stand my ground that this is a very fine and beautiful scent. I appreciate this fragrance a lot, and I know it smells so enticing on other people. Just not me. Oh, and if you're wondering, the later Very Sexy versions aren't the same. That's been established here by the reviewers already. There's no doubt. With each repackaging, the scent loses certain qualities and certain notes. The scent gets further and further away from the original with each new bottle. The one I smelled in the store a month ago was just a ghost of this vintage version. Just a shell of its former self. Smelled like alcohol, and didn't have the personality or the beauty of this one.

Fragrance Review For Very Sexy For Her Victoria's Secret Top Notes: Clementine Cappuccino Middle Notes: Mimosa Camellia Base Notes: Musk Vanilla Amber I have nothing but love for the Victoria's Secret fragrances. Back when I was newly turned 18 (not saying when that was lol) these fragrances were my life! Between ages 18 and 20 while working my own way through college I took various sales jobs in perfume department stores like Macys Nordstrom and Sephoras. And Victoria's Secret boutiques. Very Sexy Eau de Parfum was their best seller. Very Sexy spawned a number of flankers: Very Sexy Attraction was one of them as I recall and Very Sexy For Her the frag I'm reviewing here. I did enjoy the original Very Sexy but this is a delicious gourmand coffee scent. The cappuccino note is to die for. It's the biggest accord in this fragrance. Every note in this well-crafted scent matches up. That clementine plus cappuccino plus vanilla are suited to each other. This scent smells of clementine at first but it's not sharp nor too citrusy for me. It develops into a vanilla cappuccino smell right away. The mimosa kicks in soon afterward and a light floral note of camellia which is more of a rose fragrance. I enjoyed the scent of the cappuccino and the vanilla. The dry down is a light amber. This is very sweet and delicious. I would still wear this. I haven't in a while but rediscovered it recently. Ah, memories. This smells so good and it's sure to induce compliments from even strangers on the street. If you like frags like Lancôme La Nuit Tresor this is for you.

The Best Of Victoria's Secret VERY SEXY This is a classic as far as VS fragrances go. It takes me back. This was my 1st VS perfume. At the time the Victoria's Secret boutique took itself seriously and could be found in upscale shopping districts not inside malls. Also, teenagers did not enter into the VS boutique. It was always women in their' 20's and 30's. This fragrance and Rapture comes from a time when you could go in the store, look at lingerie, feel like a VIP because the sales ladies were so helpful and lovely instrumental music would play as muzak. Very Sexy opens with a citrus courtesy of clementine. It's also a bit of a mimosa. It smells juicy and delicious and then it gets better. A cappuccino with cream emerges. It's very realistic to the scent of cappuccino with cream. But it's the vanilla pulling it off. It's a creamy deep vanilla. It's delicious. This led me to think that this fragrance was probably meant to be worn with a cocktail dress which can be sexy but for dinner dates. This is not a seductive boudoir lingerie scent. It's sweet and creamy but suitable for an evening with a special someone. Mature? Definitely. This was never a fruity berry scent for babies. It was a woman's perfume when VS fragrances were selling to women. Sexy vanilla cream. Love this perfume! My boyfriend Stephen also loves this fragrance on me. It has helped to spice up our love life. So many of my perfumes can do that.

On me this is a sweet delicious cappuccino with vanilla scent. It's supposed to be sexy and I have yet to try Sexy Attraction but the VS perfumes are lingerie bedtime scents. They soothe you and comfort you and help you to sleep. I have matched up VS perfumes with VS lingerie and it works. Depending on the guy they should like this but it's really more about you liking it. This opens with a citrusy sweet clementine and then becomes a floral with a camellia rose combo. Camellias have no fragrance so perfumers give it a synthetic scent which ends up smelling like a rose. It's a pink rose. I love it. The vanilla shows up in the dry down and it smells so good. If you like vanilla the dominant accord here is the vanilla. The amber is also there and it smells warm and still citrusy from the clementine. This is just a sweet fruity caffeine scent. The musk gives it a unisex aspect similar to the woods in Victoria Secret Night. If you liked Night this should also be to your liking. It's musky but it's expensive musk that wears almost like leather. Elegant and warm, sweet, coffee.

I love the vintage original fragrance. It's undergone many changes and moods but the perfume that was first launched as Very Sexy was and is my favorite. In fact it was my very first perfume. I remember saving my money from my job at the age of 17 in order to get my hands on this perfume. I didn't care about the Victoria Secrets "sex" appeal thing. I'd sampled it and wanted it so bad. This is still selling out there by the way even in vintage form. I have 4 bottles of it. The fragrance opens with a sweet gourmand scent of orange flavored cappuccino, clementine and vanilla. These sweet notes are not cloying or sugary just sweet enough and definitely gourmand in nature. Foamy cappuccino, vanilla, a rose or camellia, and a definite vanilla dry down. There is musk in this scent as well and while others are saying it becomes very musky or mature, I never doused myself with this and with only one/two spritzes the sweetness of vanilla comes through, not musk. Beautiful, playful, fun, easy to wear. I love this perfume and wear it out of pure nostalgia.

This edition, the first one, really was sexy. I felt like a WOMAN wearing this. It's a shame they only make their 3 note wonders now. This one had complexity, it was ambery sexiness! I remember doing my makeup, getting ready to go to the clubs for the night, putting my tiny dress on, then spraying this on myself-outfit complete! I was ready for the night and I knew this was a favorite with both men and women. I wish they would get rid of their current Very Sexy and bring this gem back! Or you know, just bring this back. I loved the Sheer sexy mist of this the most. I could really douse myself head to toe in that stuff! Okay, just bought myself a 1 oz bottle of the EDP on ebay. I'm ready to feel like it's 2004 again. Edit: It was old and smelled like s***. Luckily I was able to return it. Sigh, not to quote Rose from Titanic but, I guess she’ll only exist in my memories now.

I don't care for most of the Victoria's Secret scents. I don't purchase any of their lotions anymore. This is a nice one for me though. I definitely pick up on the berry accord, but it's not foody. It was also not very spicy on me. It reminded me of what someone's hair would smell like coming out of a high-end salon. The scent also reminded me of dressing up in heels and a slinky outfit for night on the town, so I guess it does lend an air of sexiness in that way.

I was given this perfume as a gift last year and it was so great after the first time I tried the perfume.this perfume is a great mixture of many differnt herbs but the vanilla that is in the perfume brings everything together for a sexy feeling.this perfume is for women of all ages.it doesn't matter what age us women are we all want to feel sexy for ourselfs as well as that special someone. if you want a self esteem boost this is a good place to start. I recently inherited fragrances from my grandmother. This beauty was in a mini set of 6 or so fragrances from the early 2000s. It was perfectly preserved because it came in a velvet box. My eyes lit up when I saw this and ‘Heavenly’ were included. Took me way back. Smells just like I remembered. A time capsule for sure. I didn’t realize at the time there was a coffee note in this, but I pick it up for sure now.

I bought this the other day and I really LOVE this scent.....I just can't get it to stay more than twenty minutes or so. Maybe I need some lotion to help lengthen the wear....I don't know though. Tons of the most is overpowering....maybe I should wear the lotion and just two squirrel of the mist.....I'm not sure how to wear this...its either overpowering or disappears...but the smell is pretty sexy. I like it.

There are a million variations of the 'Very Sexy' line and my sample was not marked with a year or anything to tell it apart. I tried to use my nose and listed notes to figure out which one it was but by this point all I could smell was a musky fruity floral in my nostrils, the combination of sniffing one too many extremely interchangeable fragrances. I'm sorry I can't be more helpful.

I don't remember exactly what this scent smelled like, but I remember how it made me feel! I bought a little black dress from the Body Shop and purchased this scent from Victoria's Secret to wear to my high school graduation. I felt like such a mature, *very sexy* adult (or at least as sexy as you can feel as an awkward 18 year old)! I'd love to smell it again now 20 years later.

When i think of sexy, i think of warm, sensual and mysterious so i would never consider 'Very Sexy Her' to be 'sexy'. It is a citrus based fruity floral (the clementine note is very dominant), a very playful and light fragrance which is better suited for casual wear than for romantic interludes. "very flirty" would be a more appropriate name.

This is the only perfume worn that has recieved a compliment from a man. I guess they reformulated this into Very Sexy? Yes, the BF just confirmed it. He said the 2002 smelled better than the newer version. Said it was stronger and better w/ my skin chemistry. Sigh guess I'll have to find older bottles.

This is a decent fragrance. It is a bit strong on the pink pepper though! I wear it every so often when the mood strikes me. I don't find it overly sexy though but maybe men do? If you like pink pepper you'll love this.

I got it yesterday. It simple, modern and fresh. I don't see older woman wearing it though, it's too flirty...although those hot 40's, 50's and 60's can be pretty flirty these days ;)
