Very Sexy Now Beach

This smells like a mixture of MK Island Hawaii & sunscreen. I actually very much like the scent a lot but unfortunately it dissipates into nothing very quickly. At least the roller ball sure does.

Smells like monoi oil. Orange blossom smell is strong. Not as coconut-y as I would like. Longevity is very poor for an eau de parfum.

It smells kind of like a nice smelling sunscreen but better. It's a very summery scent. It smells so good and I love it.

Another update: A matching body mist is VS Capri Lemon Leaves in the blue bottle, and there is also lotion. Pretty much a dupe for VSNB, though CLL has no longevity. === Update: Nooooo longevity, more like a body spray. I sprayed it on my spouse to cheer up his winter blues, and he hardly detected it. Maybe I will get a bottle of lotion. You can get a big one cheap. Wish there was shower gel. Red/pink seems like the wrong color for the bottle. Even more cheaply, you can get a similar beach effect from Calgon's Hawaiian Ginger. === I am going on vacation soon and am in the mood for this kind of warm weather party scent. Luckily I got a half bottle dirt cheap online. Creamy beachy lotiony goodness and also fresh salty notes. I also have Wild Palm which is a great cheapie if you like Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess; Beach has less of the tiare flower, which means it is better blended, to my nose. Now I see there are many more versions, wow. They could stand to make these stronger, but maybe they are aimed at teens. Cute bottle with the attached leaf.

I have the rollerball version of Very Sexy Now Beach and Wild Palm and I have to say that I'm pleasantly surprised by the Beach scent because I typically hate orange blossom and neroli dominated scents, but this actually smells pretty good to me. I'm getting a heavy dose of orange blossom, but the coconut and 'sand' element are there, tempering the orange blossom a bit. As it's drying down I'm smelling more of the orange blossom and it has a sort of candy-coated sweetness to it and I'm finding it interesting rather than repulsive (LOL). I would never pay full price for the large bottle of this (currently $55 bucks on the VS website), but if it goes on sale for half off then I would consider purchasing it.

Okay, another review after wearing this or rather, attempting to wear this. For the first few minutes, it really smells like a nice, promising coconut beach scent. Then the neroli comes into the fore and covers the whole thing with the most sickeningly sweet, synthetic bubblegum smell and it's all over for me. I can't recommend this one unless you truly like neroli heavy scents, but even then I have to warn that this is incredibly fake smelling, nothing natural about this neroli at all. Actually made me queasy and I'm not usually that sensitive to scents, but phew! >.< I don't know what aromachemicals were used for this, but throw the whole formula away!

Clean, fresh, pretty. Like a vacation in a bottle. I can't imagine anyone not liking this perfume. It's very soft and feminine and the bottle is to die for. I actually bought this for my beach loving sister-in-law, and the packaging and presentation are STUNNING. (Minus the goofy name.) For me, this lasted about 4/5 hours. I can still smell it on my wrists, and I can detect sandy notes with a hint of orange blossom. The coconut is there, but it's very linear. Perfect for sunny and carefree days by the seaside in a white dress and floppy sun hat.

I couldn't resist buying the mini bottle set of Very Sexy Now Beach and Wild Palm for $15 at VS. Beach starts off with fresh and sweet orange blossom. I'm really loving anything with orange blossom right now. That fades after a while and then you get a soft sand note with the slightest hint of coconut. I prefer this fragrance over Wild Palm but it is so very light. I may buy the matching body lotion to help with the longevity and sillage. This will be a fun scent to wear this summer on the weekends and while on vacation.

This not bad but I am not a huge Gardenia fan and I get a lot popping through on my skin. I know Gardenia is not a listed note but I get zero Orange Blossom. It smells like Gardenia or Monoi flower. I don't detect coconut like I do in Very Sexy Now Wild Palm which is much warmer and more tropical in my opinion. I bought a roller ball to try this out and I am glad I did because though it's nice I don't need a full bottle. If a come across a good deal on Ebay, sure it's a nice vacation scent but the Wild Palm variation is more my speed.

After trying Wild Palm, I felt I liked this one better. I waited to nab it during the SAS and scored it for a cool $13 for the 1.7fl oz bottle. ...wow, it wasn’t even worth that much. It smells really nice like a sexy summer night on the beach for about 15 minutes and then it is almost completely excluding a “bug spray” note! The dominant note is the orange, I get the sand but very little coconut. I don’t know what is going on with the quality of VS fragrances lately, but they really need to step it up. The only ones in-store right now that have a good longevity of 6 hours or so are Wicked and Eau So Sexy. You’re wasting your time if you buy any of their other fragrances at full price at this point. I really hated this fragrance and sold it on ebay to get my money back. This is incredibly headache inducing—this coming from someone with a huge collection of fragrances.

This was a blind buy for me during the SAS and whew, I hate it. It smells nice - just like suntan oil with a hint of orange blossom - for about 15 seconds. After that it turns into a strong chemical smell that is reminiscent of cheap cleanser. I get zero coconut, a decent amount of orange blossom and a ton of neroli but- again - it's very synthetic. And frankly, it's jarring. This is definitely my least favorite scent I've ever actually bought from VS. I feel very grateful for the generous return policy right now!

Don't even bother with the parfum. It's very fleeting. You might as well make it into something fun and useful and get the cooling lotion

First spritz, I get a hint of something sweet. Then it’s light gardenia or maybe tuberose; an overall white floral feel to this. What I am NOT getting is any coconut or sand. That’s a disappointment, because those notes were what prompted me to buy this. This is a pleasant fragrance in its own right and it will be a nice, inoffensive choice when I’m in the mood for a lightweight, not too cloying floral scent. On me this has low to moderate sillage; not in-your-face but not a skin scent either, and stays detectable for 3 to 4 hours (after which it IS a skin scent). Not an award winner for longevity, but not bad. My latest perfume obsession is the discontinued Bath Body Works fragrance, Island White Sand, which features coconut (coconut water is the official listed note), “island driftwood” and “sheer sands”. Whatever coconut note is included in VS Beach, it’s nothing like the one in Island White Sand (and in fact, is entirely undetectable to me) so if, like me, you’re searching for a salty, sandy, woody coconut scent, I’d give this one a pass or at least try to test it first before buying. If you like mild, white florals, with a hint of something else (perhaps the orange blossom?), this is worth checking out. The bottle is beautiful, and the scent is nice enough that I’ll use it from time to time. I wouldn’t repurchase it, but no regrets getting this bottle.

Almost bought this online without smelling first since VS has a really great bundle deal going on now and the bottle is just gorgeous! Really glad I waited to smell it in store first. Surprisingly, I actually like this one better than the "Wild Palm" version, since I don't like anything with coconut in it as it reminds me of sunscreen. It turns out I actually don't really detect the coconut in this version, whereas in the other, there's a heavy "tropical oil" smell (I assume the monoi oil) that makes me think of sunscreen. In general, both versions smell cheap, heavy, and generic to me. As someone who lives in the tropics, these sorts of summer fragrances always just smell like cheap tourist shops filled with overpriced items made in China. Absolutely the sort of scent you wouldn't want to have on you anywhere as hot, sticky, and humid as any place in the tropics.

I dont know if the notes are wrong or if VS swapped the juice in my bottles? My green bottle smells just like Jennifer Anistons Near Dusk, All sand and coconut. My Red bottle smells like mostly floral. Which looks like the opposite of what is listed? So im a little confused. This one smells ok. Its basically light floral. It also doesnt last but a few minutes and its totally gone. Really both are disappointing. The green one smells like Anistons Near dusk, so its already been done. And this one doesnt last.

I got both VSN editions in the small bottles yesterday as I always check out their summer editions. The Wild Palm is strong and bold and this one is just, not. I really wanted to love this one but it's so soft and the notes to me are indiscernible. I do like it for the tiny amount of time that it lasts but it's gone as soon as it's on pretty much...I will update in a few weeks to give it more of a chance.

No doubt a very nice fragrance i recently purchased it but wnever i sniff it smell so familiar n i kept thinking n suddenly i got to knw wt it reminds me of ... definately hypnotic poison by dior mixed wd gucci bloom

I love the smell of the perfume. So light, sexy and fresh. However, the bad side is it is non lasting. Can only smell the perfume during spraying. I don't think the scent even last for an hour.

They have a sale on vs 2 of the double sided sexy now & sexy wild for $20. These smell so good I feel like I’m at the beach.
