Victoria Secret Very Sexy Platinum Him (2013) Three notes: Oakmoss, Violet Leaf, Sichuan Pepper Very much like my British favorites from Dunhill and Hugh Parsons. This time instead of Lavender and Black peper it is Violet Leaf and Black Peppr. The use of Violet and Sichuan Pepper offers a classic open that is very, very appealing. Kind of a subtle Oak Moss Touch so that it is not too candy-like. It just does not last that long. Open is really fast--dry down as well. The reviews on this site are very favorable. I am now doing alot of Travel size transfers and bought some new Travel Size that have a check valve. You remove the spray tip from the "mother bottle", stick on the bottom of the refillable Travel Size and start pumping!! This is so, so much fun. I can now enjoy fast openers, short duration but amazing scents, weird scents that change over time. I really think this scent is fun, affordable, super appealing. It is meant to be sprayed generously. However, you simply must transfer some to a travel size. This open is so nice it is worth boosting at regular intervals.

It's sad because this scent smells incredible but the longevity and silage are pretty much next to nothing. I can even spray it on my shirt and have my girlfriend smell it and she won't smell anything. Had I put curve, or bleu de Chanel on my shirt you can still smell it days later. The longevity is a joke. This is also pretty much a clone of fierce by a&f and their longevity is a bit better. Would have been my signature scent had it had at least decent longevity. Scent:10/10 girls will love you for about that good 15 minutes. Longevity:0/10 pretty much gone before I even leave the house Silage:0/10.. what a joke :/

I found and blind bought a brand new 30ml of it from second hand market and was so excited, it smelled AMAZING! Gave it to my father since its a men fragrance. Sillage and longevity is sick 10/10! I didn't expect this from VS. Probably one of the best men's fragrances, I wish there were more to buy or I wish there was a unisex version this attractive. This is a GEM Recently I found a 50ml one for 29 box and immediately bought it. My dad is about to finish his 30ml one so why not stock up some?

I purchased the 3.4oz for my man during Valentines and have never regretted spending the money on it. He doesn't care much for colognes but this one he will actually wear (and not just because I bought it for him!) and often. Oh god it makes him smell so strong and sexy and cool and mysterious. I just can't stop sniffing him when he wears it. It's incredibly erotic and a huge turn on matched with his body chemistry. This scent is definitely for a man. It is a very lust-worthy scent!

Crazy enough Victoria's Secret has always made my favorite fragrances the best one being 2001 very sexy but I love the Platinum this is the same juice that's in the newer platinum bottle it lasts 4 to 6 hours projects at least an arms length maybe a little bit more and just smells phenomenal I'm pretty happy with it I would definitely recommend trying it!!

This isn’t discontinued, they just changed the bottle design and did a close out for old bottles. Folks, just because something goes on sale doesn’t mean it’s discontinued. The frag is nice; simple, clean, not too synthetic nor sweet. Hard to seriously dislike this one. Good for about any age range. Performance is poor, 3-4 hours with mild projection.

I like this one better than the original very sexy for men. it has a sexy masculine vibe to it that I love. The ladies love it so I'm with this one. when I review a fragrance I go by if it gets compliments or not and this one gets compliments so I keep coming back to it. It has three notes nice and simple clean fresh you can't go wrong

This Cologne smells just like Montblanc Legend and Abercrombie Fitch Fierce. Unless you are a perfumer, it is almost impossible to identify the difference between them. If you like aromatic, warm and spicy, I highly recommend one of them. I also suggest trying all of them to see which works better with your body chemistry.

I have hundreds of scents in my collection designer and niche. This is one of my favorite and most versatile fragrances. Can be worn all year long it gets compliments and has longevity. Cant go wrong with this one very safe for all ages young and old. VS nailed this one. Simplicity at its finest

It's unfortunate this doesn't project more or last longer because it smells so good. My buddy wore this about 6 years ago and it seemed to be nuclear compared to the bottle I have now. Nice to spray to bum around the house but you get an hour at best.

I have probably gone through at least three 50ml bottles of this in the last six years. It is a very good juice, but the body spray was actually far superior in every aspect to the actual edt. It’s a shame they do not make it anymore.

I love this, it smells like the inside of Abercrombie or Bath and Body Works Mahogany Teakwood. My favorite scent for a guy, its cool yet spicy and sweet. Very inviting, I could sniff it all day long.

I love this scent. Its amazing. If only it would last longer and project better. If this was a nuclear performer, i would legit pay over 100 for this. You will always get compliments with this.

ABERCROMBIE & FITCH FIERCE. That is all. Fierce is exactly the same smell, only better longevity and strength than VS. Fierce is an EDT, VS is an EDC and it shows. Get the Fierce.

If you get this for your man just be prepared .Because it will cause any woman to stop what they are doing just to start sniffing him like a coke head snorts cocaine.

It's a good cologne, not great! I like it, not love it! It's somewhat underrated and possibly forgotten about by many frag lovers! It's in the Hawas Rasasi vibe fragrance. I don't know about Fierce and never owned one. I can't only compare it to Hawas because I own one. It's possibly my least favorite fragrance out of 30+ that I own. It's collecting dust somewhere in my bathroom bottom drawer. The bottle has about a quarter of juice left it in. Probably won't be able to use it up anytime soon.

this smells great. a bottle can be had for less than 20 dollars at the semiannual sales, so i got one for my love. a versatile scent and it also makes a great linen spray

I think that this is my favorite mens fragrance at VS because I feel like its more unique than the other two fragrances for men.

I bought this as a blind buy based on the notes and having heard good things about it. I've owned Very Sexy and Very Sexy 2. Both were quite nice frags but didn't have much in the way of sillage or longevity. I still enjoy both of them in spite of slightly weaker performance. Let me say that this one so far as performance blows them both out of the water. Sillage was easily 4-5 ft. The longevity lasted me 8-10 hours or more with only 3 sprays on skin and clothes. Good performance all around. I enjoyed the notes in the fragrance. I enjoyed the smell of the fragrance quite a bit. It's nice! However to be perfectly up front about this scent, something in it became 'too much' and would induce a headache for me. Every time. To the point I had to scrub it. Don't let this turn you off. It's a nice fragrance. It did get some compliments when I wore it from the ladies. They really seemed to enjoy it a lot. I thought it smelled quite nice - but for some reason it caused a headache. Not knocking the frag one bit but I want to share my experience. For the price and performance I'd say check it out. It's going to be mass appealing. If you can - sample first. It is well worth the money considering the performance. It's lovely, but definitely a sweeter fragrance and the early versions of this fragrance were nearly nuclear performance. Later versions are much weaker but still smells good. If you like the notes, give it a try. It is popular and enjoyable for most people. Well worth looking into.

Got this for Christmas years back. Wasn't very impressed with it back then. It smells okay, but not one I like much at all. The few times wearing it, however, have gotten very good compliments. Don't know about the other comparisons, but it smells similar to Burberry Men for me. It's a pretty safe scent for any occasion and seems well received by most. Longevity was about 3-4 hours.

I had my first taste of all three Very Sexys a few months ago, while visiting my friends for a wedding. One of my friends told me she loved the original Very Sexy on her father, so I decided to give them all a try. Of the three, this had the most attractive aroma. VS went with a more contemporary approach for this 2013 fragrance. Platinum opens with a fresh, creamy, fruity, and patchouli combo. It's a sharp, strong scent, but it's not intruding. Soon, you'll mostly find pineapple and apple with an underlying creaminess. Unfortunately, this perfume seems to fade in less than an hour. Although it was a nice fragrance, Very sexy Platinum was also unremarkable.

A local shop offered me a bargain price for this over the counter. Victorias Secret perfume for MEN? Let's do it! Super sweet synthetic caramel scent, pro-diabetic fragrance. This is so far the sweetest smell my nose encountered in a fragrance, and I'm afraid carpenter ants might attack me within the 10-meter proximity radius for just a single spray. I said sorry I will pass. Maybe next time...

This reminds me of Mont Blanc Legend, which is not really a good thing. At first smell, I thought I liked this, but once I actually sprayed it on, it was too sweet. It has a cloying overly sweet synthetic pineapple note, which is what I also dislike about Mont Blanc Legend and Legend Intense. This is a dislike for me.

Alright, let's get right into it! VERY SEXY PLATINUM - For Him In stores when I first sniffed this scent, I initially thought "Eh, just your typical dude scent.....strong, smoky, nothing special." Definitely not for me. Then a week or two later, I was dressed very nice for something, and happen to stroll into Victoria's Secret and decided to give this cologne another shot and sprayed it on before heading to my event. I spritzed it on the back of my neck, and luckily I hadn't sprayed anything else earlier that day. At first I thought nothing of it. As I was walking to my destination in the blazing sun (dressed very nice) I couldn't help but notice these random bursts of intense, erotic aroma. It was coming from my neck. Every time the breeze hit my hair just right, I got a whiff of the irresistible sensation that is Very Sexy Platinum. I immediately recognized its similarity to Abercrombie & Fitch's FIERCE. I owned Fierce in High School, and know of its power - its a very attractive, desirable fragrance that is dripping with masculinity much like the marketing suggests. But the fragrance carries a note of immaturity within it, at least for me probably since it reminds me of when I was a naive punk in HS, but I truly think Fierce just smells so juvenile, much like AXE. Then comes Very Sexy Platinum, which I now own thanks to my lovely Valentine. It's FIERCE, but Fiercer. Without trying too hard, or coming across pretentious. It's indeed Very Sexy, but tastefully refined. It's quite strong, I'm gonna have to be careful with this one. A little goes a long way, and it stays even in the heat. If this cologne were a person, he would be very clean-cut in appearance, and he'd have quite the smoldering personality. He's professional in the day, but daring at night. He's good-hearted, yet bad when he needs to be. He's got it all - the looks, the car, the job, the lover, the money, whatever he wants - he gets. Cause he's a charmer, and he knows it. If this doesn't sound like you, don't worry, create your own personality when you try the fragrance. Use your imagination. When I spray this fragrance, I feel like the character I described above. I feel sexy, confident, more mature, smarter, sharper than ever before. Like the cologne's package states, "Take the lead." If this fragrance doesn't make you feel like you are becoming a stronger, better person... Then you should keep looking. Best of luck, The Boy Next Door

I really gotta stop buying fragrances based on other people's reviews. And to the people griping about the projection, silage and longevity - well, duh - it's an EDC. What did you expect? To be fair though, it is a pleasant scent, although cheap-smelling, something like Coty would make. And I certainly don't get a masculine vibe from it. I just don't know why VS makes all of their men's fragrances in the EDC concentration. Not that it matters, because the ones before this sucked. This is the only one worthy of being an EDT. Ah, well. Maybe it will take a couple of wearings before I come to appreciate it, as a couple of others have said. I doubt it though. Edit: It just hit me. This reminds me of Twilight Woods for Men from Bath and Body Works. I paid 60 bucks for the 100ml VSP at VS. So if you want to try this, go to Bath and Body Works and get yourself a 100ml bottle of Twilight Woods for half of that instead, and save yourself 30 bucks. It's pretty much the same thing. Oh, and the Twilight Woods is an EDT I think. Still doesn't last though, and also smells cheap.

Women love this fragrance more than any other. I guarantee it! I haven't met a woman that hasn't smelled this and said there are better fragrances. Funny thing is my sister told me the other day that this is her favorite scent for men. Overall, I don't reach for this one, but the scent is very pleasant. Wearing this fragrance is not how I want people to perceive me if that makes any sense. It's a tough world out there. Dog eat dog. I smelled this on my uncle without know what it was. From the smell, I was 50/50 because it smelled of cheap lavender. It created a nice scent trail of fresh and clean. I discovered it was Very Sexy for him. When checked here on Fragrantica, it didn't have lavender note but saw its compared to Fierce by A&F which is similar to Legend by Mont Blanc! It hit on me that it smells like Legend, sharp cheap lavender. I can see why people would hate this...best used at home or running errands.

It seems like this and the original very sexy for men are getting discontinued as they’ve been moved into Victoria’s secrets websites clearance section :( Also visited a store the other day and there was no more in display...maybe it’s getting a new bottle design, but ultimately I think they’re letting the 2 go. A pretty generic scent but it smells really good and I loved wearing it on an ordinary day.

At first this does remind me of A&F Fierce. A few minutes later the violet leaves peer through to make the overall difference of the two scents. This one, to me, smells like a more floral version of Fierce. Sexy and masculine. I picture all of the VS models got together and tested colognes until they found the perfect one...lol. After reading reviews here, I decided to buy this. It is the most awful smelling fragrance that I have ever experienced. Cheap, nasty and too feminine. I have a cheap adidas cologne and that yielded more compliments in one day that this has in weeks. Victoria's secret should stick to making lingerie. I will try to resell or just use it to clean the toilet. Thumbs down

Delicious. At first I thought "What the heck, a Victoria Secret perfume for Him?" First time I smelled it I wasn't really impressed, nore was I the second time. But then the third time came and wolah! It satisfied me completely. Nice opening of warm sweet woods. Felt good wearing this. Longevity is probably not the best. Try it.
