Victoria’s Secret Angel Dream

This is one of my all time favorites. I keep alot of high end designer as well as niche fragrances in rotation so please know this comment comes from a place of honest high praise. An absolute winner from VS. Nothing high school, cheap, or generic about this frag. And the ridiculous online pricing just goes to show. I first smelled this in 2013 in VS store and had my then boyfriend buy me a bottle as an early Xmas gift. I had to have it then and there. That's a rare feeling and my enthusiasm for this scent hasn't dissipated in the 9 years since that first purchase. The one thing that truly impresses me is how well blended it is, my nose still to this day has trouble pulling out a single note to identify so I just trust the notes listed here because to me it's just lovely. Eventhough this has a pyramid formulation, it wears very linear on me. What I smell on initial spray is what I smell hours after dry down. And I love every second of it. I've recieved nothing but complements for almost a decade, recently one of the most memorable being "you smell like a bad bitch" 😂 I couldn't agree more. There is something undeniably sexy about this scent but also luxurious. It smells expensive, and nowadays it is. It projects just enough so people complement you when you get in their car. I've been through multiple bottles since 2013 and have several backups. I will always keep this one in my collection.

I LOVE this! My expectations weren't very high, despite the fact that I adore the Angel line from VS fragrances. I have the original and Angel Gold, and I wear them quite regularly. I'm smelled a couple of the seasonal ones, but I wasn't impressed...But I was very excited to smell this one. It's very fresh and sweet...but not in a fruity or gourmand way. It's a very crisp, floral freshness, like crushed violets. The blackcurrant is very evident, giving the violet fragrance a very crisp, dark fruitiness. The sandalwood is there, but it's mostly in the background, giving a slightly oriental sweetness. This won't change the world, but it's certainly pretty great to my nose. If you like fresh florals with slight fruitiness, you won't be disappointed. It's very sparkling and slightly icy, and I think it'll be fabulous in cold, dry weather. This'll be a nice break from my usual winter fragrances, which are heavy on the spices, patchouli, and woods. The description uses the word "sheer," but don't let that make you think this is incredibly weak. It projects considerably well for a VS fragrance, and lasts several hours. I'm willing to forgive VS for the disaster that was "Victoria," because of this wonderful new fragrance.

This is divine, I think it is one of their better scents. I don't get some of the bad reviews here, but I don't really care as I am impressed. The SA recommended this one when I said I need something strong as perfumes don't last long on my typically. She said she loved this one and I agree for me too. It smells sweet, but not too sweet and crisp, fresh and clean. I haven't been at VS lately but I have been into their scents lately and went on a buying frenzy on their 50% off of their boxed sets after xmas. Longevity and sillage is very good for me.

I love this scent...starts off sharp and green.....drysdown to a powdery floral almost soapy. VS has their eau de parfums on sale for $25....great sale price...nice projection and it lasted about 6hrs...and as usual my VS cheapie received many compliments ***update**Ladies this is a man magnet...not sure what the guys are smelling but they are going ga ga over this...all ages/all types...my teen even wore this to school and got the same reaction from the boys. if you want a sexy scent get this one

You haven't smelled it, yet it's "not different enough?". I like that the bottle has an iridescence to it. There wasn't much innovative about Angel Gold, though, and it was still pretty damn good :p My point is, it's best to save the disappointment until after you've smelled it...that way, you won't be missing out on something awesome because you THOUGHT it wouldn't be great. I've learned to lower my expectations with modern parfumerie though, so I guess I have a weird perception of things.
