Victoria’s Secret Angel Dream

This is one of my all time favorites. I keep alot of high end designer as well as niche fragrances in rotation so please know this comment comes from a place of honest high praise. An absolute winner from VS. Nothing high school, cheap, or generic about this frag. And the ridiculous online pricing just goes to show. I first smelled this in 2013 in VS store and had my then boyfriend buy me a bottle as an early Xmas gift. I had to have it then and there. That's a rare feeling and my enthusiasm for this scent hasn't dissipated in the 9 years since that first purchase. The one thing that truly impresses me is how well blended it is, my nose still to this day has trouble pulling out a single note to identify so I just trust the notes listed here because to me it's just lovely. Eventhough this has a pyramid formulation, it wears very linear on me. What I smell on initial spray is what I smell hours after dry down. And I love every second of it. I've recieved nothing but complements for almost a decade, recently one of the most memorable being "you smell like a bad bitch" 😂 I couldn't agree more. There is something undeniably sexy about this scent but also luxurious. It smells expensive, and nowadays it is. It projects just enough so people complement you when you get in their car. I've been through multiple bottles since 2013 and have several backups. I will always keep this one in my collection.

I LOVE this! My expectations weren't very high, despite the fact that I adore the Angel line from VS fragrances. I have the original and Angel Gold, and I wear them quite regularly. I'm smelled a couple of the seasonal ones, but I wasn't impressed...But I was very excited to smell this one. It's very fresh and sweet...but not in a fruity or gourmand way. It's a very crisp, floral freshness, like crushed violets. The blackcurrant is very evident, giving the violet fragrance a very crisp, dark fruitiness. The sandalwood is there, but it's mostly in the background, giving a slightly oriental sweetness. This won't change the world, but it's certainly pretty great to my nose. If you like fresh florals with slight fruitiness, you won't be disappointed. It's very sparkling and slightly icy, and I think it'll be fabulous in cold, dry weather. This'll be a nice break from my usual winter fragrances, which are heavy on the spices, patchouli, and woods. The description uses the word "sheer," but don't let that make you think this is incredibly weak. It projects considerably well for a VS fragrance, and lasts several hours. I'm willing to forgive VS for the disaster that was "Victoria," because of this wonderful new fragrance.

This is divine, I think it is one of their better scents. I don't get some of the bad reviews here, but I don't really care as I am impressed. The SA recommended this one when I said I need something strong as perfumes don't last long on my typically. She said she loved this one and I agree for me too. It smells sweet, but not too sweet and crisp, fresh and clean. I haven't been at VS lately but I have been into their scents lately and went on a buying frenzy on their 50% off of their boxed sets after xmas. Longevity and sillage is very good for me.

I love this scent...starts off sharp and green.....drysdown to a powdery floral almost soapy. VS has their eau de parfums on sale for $25....great sale price...nice projection and it lasted about 6hrs...and as usual my VS cheapie received many compliments ***update**Ladies this is a man magnet...not sure what the guys are smelling but they are going ga ga over this...all ages/all types...my teen even wore this to school and got the same reaction from the boys. if you want a sexy scent get this one

You haven't smelled it, yet it's "not different enough?". I like that the bottle has an iridescence to it. There wasn't much innovative about Angel Gold, though, and it was still pretty damn good :p My point is, it's best to save the disappointment until after you've smelled it...that way, you won't be missing out on something awesome because you THOUGHT it wouldn't be great. I've learned to lower my expectations with modern parfumerie though, so I guess I have a weird perception of things.

The bottle is gorgeous, and the notes could prove interesting. I have Angel and Angel Gold, and I love them both to pieces..so hopefully this one lives up to those two!

I just got this today, and it's really nice. I'm not a fan of the original Angel, and Angel Gold just becomes a cedar bomb on me. This, however, is nice right from the first spray. It's distantly connected to the original Angel. I'm wearing it now, and we have snow on the ground still and freezing temps, but this seems like it would be a great spring and summer scent. It's light and fresh with no annoying notes that stand out(Angel Gold with the hamster cage smelling cedar). The bottle as with all the Angel line is gorgeous. These wings aren't just frosted like the other Angel bottles, these wings are painted with snow like glitter. It's a gorgeous, classy, heavy, nice bottle. Wish I hadn't wasted my money on Angel Gold, but glad to have at least one in the Angel line I can wear.

I smell fresh green notes the first few minutes, but after I smell a little bit of sweet/floral which I love. Nowhere near sickly sweet unless you spray a lot. Mint/sweet combo almost. Hard to describe, but this is a LOT better than regular Angel that is too sharp, due to that awful Pink pepper note. As far as this is comparisons -- In Angel, the plum stands out at first, then it becomes this odd plum and Pink pepper combo I dislike. Not my favorite, but will keep because the bottle is beautiful.

I was lucky enough to get the chance to test this last weekend. I am a big fan of the other two VS Angel fragrances so I was sure this would be a home run for me. The verdict? Yes, I definitely like it! It is very similar to the first VS Angel perfume but I find it less sweet and softer. It is slightly juicy to begin with but mellows quickly. The sandalwood isn't especially woody but it is smooth and adds some nice dimension to the fruit and floral notes. I will be buying this.

I can see how Angel Dream is related to the original Angel. Angel Dream is floral and green, not too sweet. I really love the drydown. It's a soft powdery sandalwood, extremely subtle, and sits close to the skin. This scent is like a personal pleasure. This doesn't project far unless you douse yourself. It's more of a treat for you, only noticeable to someone you allow into your personal space. The Angel line is my favorite lineup of VS flankers. I haven't smelled a dud yet.

Bought it after visiting VS store which had that sent in the air vents. Loved it there but on my skin to me it was just sickly sweet despite the fact that I got a lot of complements while wearing it. I could smell it even after half a day. Very sugary but pleasant in a way. Not too seductive but there's definitely something about it.

Its a very sweet but weak smell, and it's not very lasting. I used to have the roll-on version and I had no problem with the longevity. But when I bought the perfume bottle, the longevity was poor. Still a very pretty smell.

Got this yesterday at VS. They had a discount table for after Christmas sales. It was 75% off, so I tried it. Its very nice. Not too sweet or strong. Good for every day use or anytime of year. So I bought it! :)

I'm not a fan of this scent at all...it smells kind of sharp and not soft enough for my liking. Definitely my least favorite out of the Angel perfumes so far.

Omg this stinks really bad, i hate it, im not to hate victoria secrets perfumes but i guess this is a first !

I genuinely dislike this perfume. Had it for years, it smells slightly sweet, floral and fresh at the start, but after a while, it becomes overwhelming and GENUINELY smells like a floral urine (cat piss) like smell. It gvies me headaches and makes me embarassed. It's a little more tolerable if sprayed in a small dosage.

This is one of the absolute WORST fragrances I've ever had the displeasure of smelling. It's like straight up floral cat piss. Hard, hard pass!

I think asher_jessie's review was spot-on for VS Angel Dream. I bought this a few months ago and I quickly stocked up with THREE back-ups, 2.5 oz bottles. It's so unique and beautiful. The thing I love most is the iciness. "Icy" is a very accurate term to describe Angel Dream. It's a very rich fragrance, but ironically more on the quiet side concerning sillage. It's very rich on the skin, doesn't announce itself, but is discovered. Surprising longevity and quality for a VS fragrance. There's also a lot of musk and sandalwood. I swear I can smell amber, too. Maybe that's "ambrette"? This fragrance has so many different notes - all the way from musk to melon, sandalwood to strawberry, violet to vanilla. Somehow, it works so magically. The Angel line seems to be top-notch quality. I'm glad I blind-bought this scent, because it was instant classic for me. It is discontinued, but you can find it on eBay. EDIT: This fragrance is very strong. I guess I have to recant my statement about it being "quiet"! Even if you can't smell it on yourself after a while, others definitely can. When I wore this regularly, I got multiple comments about what a strong perfume I was wearing. One person actually thought that when their family came over the next day that they would be able to still smell perfume after I was gone. My own mother loudly announced, after I had just applied three sprays, "MY GAWD, your perfume is way too strong!" (And she was very well-adapted to me and my perfume obsession). Don't kill people with this one, folks.

Smells beautiful. Like an angel with sparkly glittery wings. The bottle is exactly how the perfume smells like. To my nose its like a lighter, fruitier and smoother version of... Ralph Lauren hot DKNY pure vanilla Vs live star (more jasmine than lily/tuberose) The body shop moringa If you know how these perfumes smell like u can at least get an idea what vs angel dream smells like. The notes I smell... Melon-cucumber combo Jasmine that tends to be fruity/grape Black currant Strawberry yogurt Light iridescent musk Sour apple candy Vanilla coconut milk Cinnamon bark When I was young I had Ralph Lauren hot. It smelled so good, I specially liked the top notes but to me that had a lot of fig and dries down without thr sweetness I was looking for. Vs angel dream is a real dream come true for being the exact perfume I wish RLH would be like. The fresh candy like top note, the sour fruits that is DNA of angel line and thr sweet milky coconut and cinnamon dry down that stays beautiful all through out. Not to mention the gorgeous bottle. Amazing job vs. I'm in love. 😄 Update the melon/strawberry is getting prominent to my nose.

Victoria Secret Angel Dream has a spicy black currant top note with fresh cucumber and sweet powdered violets. I think it smells similar to Coach Poppy with the prominent cucumber note and subtle sweetness. I think it’s a really lovely fragrance that’s perfect for spring, very feminine and refreshing. I like that all the flankers of the original VS Angel fragrance are completely different scents (rather than just the original fragrance with notes added or taken out) and also the bottle is gorgeous!

this is very nice, it is like the original angel without the plum top note. very soft, sheer violet a *slight* resemblance to mon jasmin noir by bvlgari the sheer, powdery violet purple a little icy, I can see the models wearing this at the vs show. I saw a gift set with the 1 oz perfume and shower gel and lotion for $55 i think.

I have a thing for aquatic and green fragrances, they smell so crisp and fresh that you would wanna spray them daily! It's soft but juicy too, although it does not stay for longer period but the vibe it gives me in the first spray is what pushes me for the day!

I love this scent but so sad about it's discounted. I think it's better than original Angel perfume. I wish VS was continue produced Angel dream.. Angel series bottles are amazing. And Angel dream is best of it. Really sad :(
