Victoria's Secret Heavenly Summer (2015)

I really like this perfume. I think Heavenly Summer is one of the best perfumes, Victoria Secret has released in the past few years. To me this smells like baked goods do to the Orris Water. I usually don't like Orris Root at all, because it can be too powdery, and I think Victoria Secret did it just right with Heavenly Summer. I do smell the Orris Water more than the Bergamot, but it's still noticeable, and I think the notes mix well together. I know people complain about Victoria Secret only putting a few notes in perfumes, but in a way I like it this way, because it's more simple. I would rather have a perfume with 10 notes tops, verses a perfume with more than 15 notes, because the perfume can end up being confused, and change all the time. I would wear Heavenly Summer in late Sring through Summer during the day time. Overall I give this perfume a 10/10. Also this is one of my favorite perfume of 2015 so far.

I picked this up during the VS semiannual sale last year and fell in love with it. It is a powdery citrus scent that makes up for what it lacks in complexity with its uniqueness. It is refreshing and cozy all at once and reminds me of a warm summer's night with the delta breezes drifting through. I found myself craving this scent so often I decided to get a backup bottle on Mercari before I even had put a dent in the one I had. Doesn't last long like all VS fragrances--4 hrs tops. On the up side, it has decent silage for a VS fragrance. Too bad it was discontinued as VS certainly created a gem here.

If you have Prada Infusion D'Iris, you definitely don't need this one. They're 80% similar. Citrus with a lot of powderiness due to the orris note. I love it, but you really have to dig this type of clean, powdery scents to enjoy this one. :) Nice longevity for a VS fragrance. Sillage is moderate.

Woody, soapy, bitter-fresh citrus. It's earthy and translucent, with very little sweetness or juiciness to it at all. The bergamot here has a very dry, woody kind of zestiness—all rind, no juice. It's a clean and crisp scent, but with a rooty minerality as well. Picture doing laundry under a thirsty bergamot tree in the summer heat. Cold, soapy water splashes over the sides of the wooden basin, pooling on the dry, warm, packed-down earth. I remember this fragrances was quite unpopular on the VS website when it was released. It's not attempting to be overtly alluring in the manner of most VS scents. Instead, it comes across as an evocative, natural sort of scent; sensual in its spareness, and fairly unisex.

This gets prettier the longer it stays on.. On my fabric itit'fresh, citrus, dry, floral, delicate bitter, fresh spicy.. Overall clean and light though. There seems to be a bit of a nutty woody note which has come out, all three I have tested tonight are different on skin to my clothing. I had Prada d'iris, I'd say these are I the same family, this one isn't a lovely lush scent... it doesn't have to be, it's more rounded airy, clean, dry, fresh spicy one, which sits lightly, but has good projection. Not sure if I think it's worth the price tag, but its alot cheaper than a Prada, and, isn't your $40 celeb scent either.. I'll see what it does on me.

Sweet, and simple, slightly powdery thanks to the orris. I am getting a delicious Cinnamon Toast Crunch aroma too which is surprising but pleasantly gourmand.

This one is... interesting. I liked it at first, but the more I used it, the more odd I found it. I don't really know how to describe it. It's kind of bitter and salty on me - not much sweetness, not much fruitiness. It actually kind of reminds me of a more wearable Mugler Womanity.

Nah, this one's way too strong with the bergamot. It lingers forever, you can smell it from a mile away! I put mine up for sale right away, and she actually liked it. Seriously, I'm shocked she likes it. Smells like toilet cleaner to me!

I wish I'd never gotten as blind buy. Far from heavenly and 0 musk. Only smelled a faint wood. It just isn't good! Doesn't last either. I figured musk gallore, but no

At first it smelled like sweet white flowers but there is something very distinct - the orris, it has this rooty, earthy sweetness which I am not found of but on the other side this might have the best sillage and longevity from all MS products I have tried, it lingers and fills the room. Still can't get past that distinct sweetness, a pass.

Did I just smell Sprite in a bottle of perfume? But less sugar?

I wish to me this smelled like a orange creamsicle. It would be a lovely fragrance, if it smelled like that. Unfortunately, instead it has a mens aftershave smell to it. Also, smells like eucalyptus...like the relaxing pillow sprays & night time body lotions. I work at Victoria's Secret and even though, it's just released, we have already had several bottles being returned. Most were purchased from online & returned because, they didn't like the smell of it & that it wasn't a summer scent. I agree, I don't get a summer sort of vibe from this fragrance either. One customer said it smelled like a aromatherapy product, which I agree with. Plus a lot of aromatherapy products have eucalyptus in them, which I thought this perfume smelled like. I personally own about 20 or more Victoria's Secret perfumes and usually love them, but sorry to say this one I greatly dislike. So far they aren't selling in my store that I work at either, so it will most likely end up being a discontinued scent.

Not a scent that appeals that much to me, it's a very strong citrus scent and it works on a hot summers day but it almost feels like you poured freshly squeezed lime juice on your skin, fortunately it doesn't last that long, about one hour so I wear when I go shopping for groceries

Bitter cold ,powdery ...remind shampagne :) never thought I will like it . Like coldest river at summer.there is no sighs of berries ,liquor or tizing by seductive fruits -just very fresh but not aquatic -icy smell. Remind a little bit of chanel "cristalle verte "

This kind of reminds me of Froot Loops lol. But I like it nonetheless. It is very citrusy and zesty and has a slight powdery undercurrent.

I recall purchasing this for my mother and using it just as much as she did. lovely fragrance, i'll have to get my own bottle soon.

Fresh n zesty with a hint of powder. Perfect for hot weather and beach days.
