Victoria’s Secret Paris

This is one of my favorite scents and it hurts my heart that it's been discontinued. At least I can still get it on fragrance net. I originally bought Paradiso with low expectations that anything else could come close to Paris. I was right. I sprayed that once and gave it away. In no way, shape or form does Paradiso resemble Paris. Save your coins. Paris is almost perfectly unisex, but it leans 1 or 2 degrees towards the feminine side. The right amount of woodiness. The perfect level of sweetness. Great lasting power. I have a deep appreciation for linear fragrances and this fits the bill. What you get on the initial spray is what you get at the end of the day. It used to come out around Christmas and while it can definitely be worn in the winter, this still works fabulously in 100+ temps. Pre-covid, it was the kind of fragrance that people standing next to you in line would smell and ask what you're wearing (ladies ask that. Guys just say you smell good) I wish I could think of a comparable scent e.g. if you like that, you'll like this. But I haven't come close to smelling this is any other form. I went through so many bottles of this over the past few years and never got sick of it. I still pass through VS several times a year in hopes that they bring it back or repackage it and give it another name (again).

I agree this one leans unisex. Yet it's so freshly beautiful & wonderfully lasting. I originally picked this gem up @ an after Cmas SAS & wore it several times that winter. This one is a little on the edge of my usual preferences. It was really nice, but I usually lean into warmer & spicier scents @ that time of yr. Then spring brings my fave floral & green scents out of hiding. On a whim as I was switching out my cool weather & warm weather scents, I sprayed this loveliness on. It was a very warm & humid day in spring (unseasonably so for Ohio). After that initial cool blast warmed on my skin, the jasmine developed an amazing natural sweetness. I had never detected it in the cool, dry air of NE winters. The scent just continued to bloom & last from there on. It was a smidge heady, but not @ all overpowering. Cool cypress & smooth cedar were still fully intact with amazing freshness in the heat. It lasted surprisingly well too, at least 6 hrs. I'll continue picking up this gem each time she returns in limited fashion. Paris now has permanent residence in my summer collection. She layers beautifully with VS Love & VS Fabulous too!

I tend to ration this perfume because I’m afraid I’ll never get my hands on it again if I ever run out. Hopefully, Victoria’s Secret will bring it back at some point during their Semi-Annual Sale, and I can stock up on it. Bombshell Paris is so pretty. It’s got a cool, fresh woodiness to it that I simply adore. It’s absolutely beautiful in winter. I’ve unfortunately never been to Paris, but the imagery of the VS campaign that evokes “Parisian gardens during winter and the glittery scene of the Eiffel tower covered with snow” is spot on. I see a confident, elegantly dressed Parisian woman stepping out onto her apartment balcony to toast to the New Year with friends and family as snow flurries around the Eiffel Tower in the background. Her coat has a wide, faux-fur lined hood that covers her so prettily, and she’s wearing a red lip with the most genuine smile on her face. So chic and classy.

Picked this up for $25 at the semi-annual sale, and oh. My. Goodness. Where has this beautiful fragrance been all my life, and why why WHY was it ever discontinued? Victoria’s Secret Paris smells of winter and fall, of snow-covered pines and pumpkin-spice candles. It’s somehow fresh but warm, woody and earthy with a healthy dose of sweet femininity. It’s different than most other VS perfumes, yes, but it retains something sparkly that makes me feel like it’s still fairly youthful. It could be considered unisex for sure, but in my opinion it leans on the feminine side. Longevity is amazing for VS; Paris lasted around eight hours on my skin. I can’t wait to wear this in the fall and winter, day and night!

Paris was launched as a seasonal perfume during winter of last year (2016) and is now relabeled as Bombshell Paris but is the same juice exactly. This woody scent is rather dry which makes it versatile for all seasons. It's a breath of fresh air for VS, as most of their scents rely heavily on vanilla and sweetness. The scent smells very clean and classic but modernized. Paris works well alone as a clean woody scent but it also plays well with others. Today I am wearing Bombshell Paris with B. Balenciaga. The cedar and oakmoss from my VS scent and the sweet vegetal peas from Balenciaga are magical together. It's a nice refreshing non-citrus scent for the hot balmy days of Summer.

I got this yesterday! And is the perfect “I do not want to put perfume on “ like when you wake up hung over ,when you just tired of all the perfumes you have and body splashes ! When you just want something soft neutral but that smells nice,something that makes you smell clean but nice!,this is a like an easy I woke up Sunday smell type of perfume. My favorite perfumes morning perfumes to be home are Ellen Tracy (Ellen Tracy)Sundays Morning would be Eau de Cartier Concentree , Delicious Vanilla (Gale Hayman )this for anytime of the day or layering (wich is perfect)I was looking forward to add something new to the (Clean Smell Collection) and found this and I love it!

I wish I had more of this since I tend to use it alot in the winter. More than Bombshell or any other bombshell edition. It does have a more masculine comparison, but with the perfect feminine twist of floral. Searching for a similar replacement. Did not think Burberry smells anything like it. My kids didn't like the Burberrys either. [I'm a fan of collecting perfume, not a perfume connoisseur. I love sweet, citrusy, floral scents best. Some expensive scents give me headaches or rashes. My kids give me the most honest opinions on smells and I will share my honest opinion. In search of something with longer sillage comparable to favorites. Recommendations welcome.]

I've been wearing this perfume for over a year, and have yet to review it, so here it goes. Most of the perfume I wear is niche, yet this makes the cut for me. It's just this good. I've worn it all seasons, and I just can't get tired of it. It's so aromatic, pleasant, uplifting. I've gotten more compliments on this than way more expensive fragrances. I wish this became a permanent perfume for VS. luckily, I bought a backup bottle a year ago.

I have the bomshell paris body mist. Everyone says it's a repackage. Well let me tell you. I'm obsessed with the scent. It's nostalgic, but not dated. Extremely fresh. Unisex but more feminine leaning. It's a strong girl fragrance. But it's not arrogant. I love it soooo much. Every season. It's wintery but also summery. It's summer now so it'll probably remain a summer fragrance for me. Love love love love

This scent is something special. I definitely see this being unisex(though I believe you can wearing whatever makes you happy) with crisp woodsy notes and a touch of floral with the jasmine. I absolutely love wearing this on cold winter days. Very festive and perfect for holidays.

This is my ideal kind of perfume: simple notes that create a stunning fragrance. Cypress and night blooming jasmine are two of my favorite scents. They balance each other perfectly. A lovely and festive frag for winter.

A winter night with a full moon and crisp air. I find it bewitchingly feminine and soft yet cool. It doesn't seem like a "bombshell" fragrance at all. The lotion is nice as well.

The opening of this scent reminds me of something from my childhood. It's pretty similar to my mum's Celine Dion Perfume. I wish they still made that.

I bought this during the most recent Semi-Annual Sale under the name “Bombshell Paris,” but the notes look similar to “Victoria’s Secret Paris,” so I’m assuming they’re the same. So different than my normal gourmand picks but very nice! Starts off with that bright, citrusy (grapefruit?) opening that’s common to many VS perfumes, but it settles into a crisp, outdoorsy scent. I have a hard time with notes like cypress and oakmoss .. They so often smell hematic to me. But this! This is crisp and fresh and cold, not aggressive or overly heavy. A slight, natural sweetness rounds it out, making it feel like a charming, sugared, snowy fairytale forest. It’s definitely for a specific time, place, and mood, though .. I see this working best on a truly cold day while doing something outdoorsy (picking out a Christmas tree, sledding, etc.). Mild temperature days don’t do it justice and will make it feel out-of-place (as experienced today). Unisex but leans feminine. There’s a touch of “old man” cologne, but the sweet drydown helps tremendously. It projects well for about 2-3 hours and then settles into a beautiful skin scent.

A pleasant surprise; no fruits or vanilla and very little jasmine on me, unlike almost every other VS perfume that I've tried/owned. On me it is a clean and cold woodsy scent - the scent of a walk on a frosty morning. A perfect winter fragrance, that fits the inspiration and bottle design very well. It is a close-to-the-skin fragrance, and it has a "meh" longevity, which is a shame. However I still reccomend trying it out if you enjoy clean fragrances, as it makes a lovely daytime perfume, and can be layered with smokier perfumes for the evening (I have a bottle of VS Secret 33 that is perfect for layering purposes).

I have the rollerball. On first application my nose didn’t find any of the notes listed here. Just big LEMON! An hour later I found something light and sweet like a soft vanilla. Together it seemed like lemon merengue. I reapplied 2 hours later to try again after reading this page. This time I found big LIME! I could also get some juniper berries right away. Then it softened to that sweet note, which I think is jasmine but my nose still reads as soft vanilla. To sum up, my nose thinks it’s key lime pie topped with whip cream and juniper berries. 😄

SO this is back and under the name BOMBSHELL PARIS now, and in a NEW re-design bottle with the Simi Annual Sale going on. THIS ONE is unique. As mentioned this scent is a floral, woody, warm scent. I think this one is deff unisex for sure, it is really unique too not the typical VS offering.

Don't let the ingredients of the notes fool you, I couldn't tell what it smelled like, only that it smelled fresh, strong, sharp, and good. Reminded me of White Diamonds; it's a very powerful smell but not invasive. Only way to really know is to smell it yourself.

i think it's the best fragrance of VS. first i searched it on fragrantica and ingredient wasn't my type. but i wanted to buy it anyway. and i got my rollerball it's so wonderful it gives warm, relaxing smell which i can't describe it. it's just beautiful.

I forgot I had this so I pulled it out to try it in the cold days of winter. Well..................I must say, it's a bit more masculine than I remember. Not my favorite of the Bombshell franchise, but I'm glad I have it. Happy New Year everyone!

Bombshell Paris is chill and leans masculine. Definitely outdoorsy and fresh, with a subtle nod to the original Bombshell. It's the perfume you wear when you're going to run into your ex and want to smell like you've been with another guy.

The image of me running in a snowy pine forest came up when I sprayed this on myself. The jasmine adds a little sweetness to balance the woody scents. Without the jasmine note it's a quite good unisex scent IMO.

Nice cypress scent, light and subtle, good for almost all types of weather, but better for warm conditions. It does not last long and that's the only disadvantage.

This is very "woods-y" and very "Christmas-y". Feminine and bright. Outdoor freshness in a bottle. A walk in the woods on a bright Spring day. Love this.

I sampled this at the SAS bottled as Bombshell Paris. It is definitely unique and hard to describe. It’s feminine yet masculine. Anyone could wear it. I am personally indifferent with Paris. It is just an okay, not a wow for me. It’s all subjective of course. It does have pretty decent longevity and silage for a $20 bottle of perfume. To me, this would be better suited as a home fragrance. In fact it reminds me of BBW Frozen Lake candle.

This smells like men's cologne! When it was first released, I walked into a Victoria's Secret to purchase something, and they had it sprayed throughout the store. The minute I walked in, I immediately thought of my husband's Versace Eau Fraiche cologne. I love that cologne on him, but I would not want to smell like that. I was disappointed that this was so masculine-smelling since I really do enjoy some of Victoria's Secret's scents when I want something sweet, fruity, and flirty.

Wow, this is interesting. So the opening was a surprise and it smelled too familiar right away; similar to Burberry Brit EDT without the stale, dusty pear-lemongrass undertone of that one and without being warm and almondy as Brit. So the opening is slightly different from the drydown to my nose. The opening is surprisingly a little sugary as if there is a touch of amber and sugar here, but it must stem from the nigh blooming jasmine which is a sweeter deeper jasmine. The sweet opening is also very woody and rich from the cypress-cedar pairing just like Brit has an intense woody base with the mahogany, it's a vital part of the Brit's vein just like the cedar is here. The jasmine gives a feminine character to this fragrance. It is high-pitched, bright and very sweet in the opening, and slightly tart. Along with the earthy cypress they resemble the lime-lemongrass-sugar effect of Brit, but no sharpness here unlike in Brit. The sugared slightly tart cypress-jasmine opening does not last long because the scent morphs quickly into a much lighter fresher jasmine-herbal scent. The drydown is less intense, more of a skin scent and it is more dry by the cedar. The jasmine is less sweet and more fresh. The drydown is unisex and very mossy and breezy, but still very smooth and I still smell the lemony green, sweet yet fresh Brit effect of the opening. If this is too serious and not sweet enough for you, try 000 by Le Monde Gourmand. Also it smells nothing like Bombshell Nights because someone related them. The lasting power is very poor and it is a faint fragrance, but it is worth it for me since I love Brit and always disliked its dusty and harsh cold lemony and warm sweet contrast, while Bombshell Paris is fresher and flawless.

Have you ever listened to a guided meditation where the narrator describes being in a forest? ... “Close your eyes and imagine walking along a beautiful path... Rays of glittering golden sunbeams streak through the canopy of leaves.... Hear the rush of a nearby stream and feel its cool, calming, refreshing breeze across your skin...” Well VSP is exactly what that imaginary forest would smell like!!! This frag made its way into my collection by way of a deeply discounted clearance sale. Upon its arrival, I test drove it a few times and thought, “Hmm. Not really my thing, but maybe a nice winter holiday scent.” It reminded me of the exhibits you would see at a Christmas horticulture show: hearty botanicals combined with dazzling lights, all enhanced by live seasonal music. (Side note: if you are ever in Pennsylvania, do yourself a favor and visit Longwood Gardens!) And then I promptly stashed it away and forgot about it. That was my first mistake. My second mistake was after I rediscovered this beautiful frag and thought, “I never wear this. Maybe I should surrender it to my friend. It smells like something he already wears anyway.” Well today I’m here to say: Sorry Buddy, I will never give this up now that I wore it in the great outdoors in the unforgiving summer heat and realized that it makes me feel so cool and refreshed. I wear it while hiking or gardening and I like to imagine that the insects and other pests avoid me because they think I am a nature goddess or wood nymph of some kind. This stuff is mesmerizing. <3

One day years ago I asked my friend if she had any spray and she handed me over this but the body spray version of it . The second I sprayed it I was OBSESSED with it . The slight masculine scent yet the girlyness of it is SO GOOD and I sprayed so much of it she was like my mum got it from America she’s so gonna be mad at me OOPS LOL . Then years later I was on a hunt for it but I couldn’t find it ANYWHERE except on eBay but the shipping price was ridiculous until I found it on Vinted weirdly and brought it for only 20 for the 30ml . I only ever sprayed it once and I keep it in my drawer waiting for a special occasion or just to save it forever. I would always look for perfumes or anything that smelt like it until one day I brought both the glossier perfumes the og and the Fleur and I WAS GOB SMACKED this was the SCENT IVE BEEN ON THE HUNT FOR YEARS only to find out it is one of the most popular perfumes that I’ve heard about for ages ... it kinda bummed me out because I thought I was sitting on gold with this because it’s discontinued and no one ever talks about it but happy that there is a perfume that smells like it that I will be able to buy forever that isn’t so expensive and easy to find in the uk . I didn’t even know but this is how I figured out I’m a huge if not the BIGGEST fan of “skin scents” even though skin doesn’t have a scent idk why it’s called that lol but I LOVE THIS and if you love skin scents and are able to get your hands on this TOTALLY buy it’s worth every penny 😭✨❤️

It is a gorgeous, clear, brisk, autumn day, clear blue skies, and you are out for a hike in the forest. The brown leaves crunch loudly below your boots, as you walk along nature's path. Suddenly, a sharp, cool, arctic breeze kicks up, taking with it the piney scent of the cypress tree needles and cedar bark... the serpentine wind whisks and spirals around you and the balsam scent refreshingly tingles your nose. Winter is coming.... You bundle yourself up tightly, wrapping your tweed jacket lapels snugly around you and you pop up the collar of your starchy white crisp cotton shirt. This is what Victoria's Secret Paris (Paris Bombshell) smells like to me... it is exquisite unique, timeless, unisex - and I would even go so far to say that it is masculine leaning, yet of course anyone can wear it and it would smell stunning, crisp, forest-y, autumnal, herbal, woody and intoxicating on anyone. The closest fragrances that I have come across that resemble Paris are: Bath and Body Works SWEATER WEATHER, the men's cologne ASPEN, and funny enough, BOD Really Ripped Abs body spray in the navy bottle. UPDATE: Victoria's Secret Paris (Paris Bombshell) also reminds me a bit of Bath and Body Works FROSTED HOLLY. Frosted Holly has notes of magnolia, grapefruit and sycamore wood - and it's definitely the sycamore wood accord that makes me think of the cypress note in Victoria's Secret Paris.

Paris (a.k.a. Bombshell Paris) is a fragrance that seems unisex rather than exclusively feminine. It is a scent that definitely showcases wood notes. This fragrance is all about the two types of wood listed, the cypress and the cedar. There's definitely jasmine here, and I still think there's some unlisted freesia or another sparkling floral. It's aromatic like a men's cologne, but is still somehow glittering and sexy. I think the key for a more feminine feel is a lighter application. The imagery that comes to mind is crisp, white snow falling on a winter night. On me, this is strong. Don't underestimate it. I have a one-ounce EDP and a full-sized lotion that will surely last ages. A few sprays over the lotion lasts all day. The longevity and sillage are above average. I'm afraid to wear the EDP this summer because of its strength. The lotion by itself is strong enough to be noticed in very warm weather. Great quality for VS nowadays. I'm glad they decided to go with something other than candy or vanilla for this one. They sometimes do unisex/masculine parfums like Beach Angel or Tease Please. If you like Paris, try these (if you can find online them for a reasonable price).

I'm doing a side-by-side comparison of Paradiso on my left hand and Victoria's Secret Bombshell Paris on my right hand. Two sprays each. Honestly they are about 90% the same in the opening. Paradiso has a touch more citrus. Paris has an extra dose of jasmine of the slightly shrill kind. It could literally be a Paradiso flanker: "Paradiso Jasmin." If you wait a few minutes, the jasmine in Paradiso begins to emerge and they smell even more similar. Like 95%. Now I can say Paradiso could be a flanker of Bombshell Paris: "Bombshell Paris Citrus Nights." If you have one, you really don't need the other. Just pre-determine if you want a jasmine-cypress-woody blend with citrus notes or without, though there's a slight mandarinny feeling in Bombshell Paris too and I don't get any oakmoss at all. They are both linear after the 1st 5 minutes so this is a short review. I hope you guys don't mind I'm posting this review in both pages.

I recently picked up this scent (although it was recently advertised as a new fragrance "Bombshell: Paris" with the same notes), and find it to be unique compared to Victoria Secret's other perfumes, and not similar to others in the Bombshell line. I am surprised they advertised this as a Bombshell flanker, in fact. It is beautiful, however - with great longevity. This is definitely a unisex scent, leaning toward masculine, which I find makes this a very sexy fragrance. It's woody with a touch of sweetness, but it's also rich and potent and I found this one easy to overspray. It's not a good one for warm weather, but best suited for cooler evenings. Paris is one of the best and most divergent of Victoria Secret's typical formulations. I'm really impressed!

Bombshell Paris was a nice surprise. I didn't expect much. I smelled it in the VS store, so there were other fragrances in the air swirling around. But, my overall impression was a sparkling, airy, crisp scent. You can pick up the aromatic cypress very well. I could have sworn there was freesia in this one. I would have thought freesia played a major part, but the notes don't list it. I would see it as more of a spring scent than a winter one. I tend to collect the older VS fragrances (pre-2010), but this one I think I may buy.

Nice aromatic..cypress/moss combo,with just enough jasmine to soften it up....woodsy feeling underneath and I even get a tad of pine needles in the mix...and greenness. This scent comes off somewhat "fresh"for some reason.It does have the vibe of Ari Grande's Frankie...but...I sense more floral in Bombshell Paris. Projection/sillage is low to moderate. This is nothing "amazing" or "wow"...but I am enjoying it !!

Overall a very underwhelming scent from Victoria's Secret. I was pleasantly surprised by Intense but this dips back into mediocre territory. Sounds like it would smell pretty woody but unfortunately this is not so. Mostly I smelled a synthetic clean generic jasmine. No longevity or throw. I dunno I'm probably spoiled by my other scents that smell like real wood and real jasmine...

For those who may be interested, I am selling a 3.4 fluid ounce bottle of VS Paris BOMBSHELL. Nothing wrong with it - daughter says she no longer reaches for it. Ebay item number is 273910633362. Just note - it's for Paris BOMBSHELL. There doesn't seem to be a separate page for that fragrance??

Sexy! Cologneish, with a sweet orange dry down. It makes me feel sophisticated, sexy, sweet and girly. Different from most perfumes, but still very girly.

it's woody and masculine, which i love. the jasmine really makes it. it's extremely sultry and seductive. i love it!

Is this the same fragrance as VS Bombshell Paris? Can't find that perfume here...
