Ella

Ella is a beautiful, strong, sweet, fresh perfume, that lasts and lasts, and always brings me lovely compliments. It is beautifully feminine and attractive, and feels good all the time, in any weather. I agree with joliecat, that it is dry and airy - like a blast of fresh dry sweet air. It's gorgeous. And the bottle is super gorgeous too!!

This fragrance is addictive. But actually addictive. Smelling this is like a spring day in a bottle. One of the most beautiful light, non overpowering floral fragrances.

Hi I really wanted to know about how does this perform I cant.find a scent that stays and projects would anyone recommend this one? (Not even alien) new formulation

I only bought this fragrance for two reasons. 1) It was on a considerable discount in one of my country's trustworthy online retailers and 2) My monkey brain just was enticed by the bottle design. What do you mean, there is a mirror with a flap on the bottle, a rubber loop as well as rubber sleeve for better grip, AND a twist-up cap? I HAVE to have it. As if I'm ever going to go hiking with it and with wet hands whip it out midway to check my makeup hahaha. Anyway, it seems they did win some packaging award for this 'innovative' bottle design. The more you know. Now, what about the fragrance? It starts of very fruity floral. The mix of fruity notes and tuberose give it a distinctive gummy bear feel initially with a soft spicy undertone. I guess the spiciness will be due to the ginger note. I perceive it not clearly as ginger, but just powdery spice that might be pink pepper as well. The more the fragrance settles, the more the fruitiness recedes and the tuberose remains bedded on powdery woody vanilla. This vanilla is not a deep sweet cooky dough vanilla. It's more dry and powdery. In the final dry-down I could swear there is musk in the mix too, albeit not listed in the notes. On me even late in the dry down that gummy bear vibe keeps popping up time and again. All over this fragrance's character to me is sweet fruity, floral, powdery, woody, musky. I do like it, actually. It may not be insanely refined, but it makes for a good everyday mood-lifter fragrance. Sillage is moderate, but also heavily dependent on the weather. I haven't quite figured out what climate exactly makes it radiate more. I just know some days my husband can smell me when I walk through the room, other days it's only when I'm basically sitting next to him. One thing that stands out about this fragrance, however, is its great longevity. It lasts 24hrs and more easily on my skin. Quite impressive for an EdT. I really do like this fragrance. However, admittedly I doubt I would have bought it if it had come in a less gimmicky bottle. It's cheery, pleasant and solid in performance, don't get me wrong, but I wouldn't go out of my way to hunt this specific fragrance down again. If you're still curious, get it if you can get a good discount on it like me, or if you got the chance to sample it prior to buying. Solid like from me.

Identical to Burberry and Fancy Love, and very similar to Kathy Hilton's My Secret. Not a favorite for me. The bottle though is a winner! Coolest bottle of all time. If you can stand Burberry (I can't) this one is actually worth buying just for the bottle, considering the $15 price tag on FragranceNet. Edit: I no longer consider it identical to Burberry. It is in fact "Burberry on Steroids." I gave it to my daughter, who made the mistake of using 2 sprays. No exaggeration, the whole house reeked of it for 4 hours. After that, only the room she was in at any moment was suffocating with this stubborn scent. It lasted easily 12 hours! I truly can't even...and I'm a huge Angel fan from back when it made your eyes water. Dear daughter is now only permitted to spray once in the air and walk through...outside.

This is one of the few perfumes that all age groups enjoyed on me. Comments from others on this fragrance include "fruity", "powdery", "sweet", "perfume-y smelling" and I agree with all of those! In a nutshell smells like a blast of litchi and powdery vanilla (in a good way). I can't really smell the other notes too much. Smells super energetic/happy and it smells exactly like I imagine the color fushia would smell like. Performance is better than some of my EDPs (6hr+ on skin, all day on clothes!). Sillage is huge so I don't recommend more than 3 sprays.

When i first tried it 10 years ago it was love at first sniff.It was to die for Velvety,creamy almondy just the perfect fragrance.It was too expensive and rare here so i couldnt buy it and just dream of it.Now i have it,but my nose and akin are probably different because now i dont get so much velvety almond blissfulness ,but more fruity,peppery flower and something little bit retro.What happened.Is the juice the same or probably i am not,who knows?!So when you like something get it soon ,because after some time the spark has gone.

This is an airy, , very sweet, pretty scent that's dry, fresh and extremely strong. Litchi, kumquat, ginger and fig leaf dominate. Rosewood and sweet amber provide staying power. Sweet vanilla and osmanthus are very minor players. If you don't like tuberose, no problem here, as it's barely noticeable at all. On my skin, Ella is intensely sweet, powerful and dry. No powder here, just a blast of fresh dry sweet air. Ella works extremely well in hot humid summer weather. In humidity, the sweet fruits become more prominent and the dryness is smoother, uplifting, refreshing and cooling. Ella lasts forever until you wash it off. Definitely feminine, extremely sweet, fresh and very strong. One or two light sprays work best. The bottle is heavy and unique. To open the sprayer, you turn the wide chrome ring. On the front of the bottle is circle with the name "ELLA" on it. You can open the circle like a compact to find a mirror inside. Cute idea !

This dries down to a gourmand-fruity. It's powerful. The "gourmand" heavy accord gives me a headache. If you like both designer-type "gourmand" fragrances with some hints of fruit, it's worth checking this out. I also wanted to mention the unusual bottle design. The nozzle twists up, and the flap on the front conceals a mirror. If you like unusual bottles, this one is definitely unique!

Opinion based on an original sample I received with another purchase, seems I'm the only person here who despised this fragrance so much. Maybe the sample was off, maybe it's my conflict with the fruity notes, but to me this one was a heavy reminder of what the company is known for, so accessories mostly made of steel. The scent had something metallic in it, maybe even a bit rusty, so I imagined an old knife smeared with thick sweet fruity jelly while trying to decipher the notes. Instant hate unfortunately. Luckily, at least for me, it had a poor longevity.

Got this yesterday from Tjmaxx. As the previous reviewer said and it's true this stuff is strong!! I bought the Mystique Forest one and liked it so much that I went back to Tj's to get another Victorinox but I had seen this one there prior too. So that I didn't go home empty handed, since they no longer had the Eau Florale one I picked up this one. I sprayed it on a Kleenex to test it first but some got on my hand so I went ahead and sprayed more on my wrist but far away. One thing I'll say this is like a Burberry scent you have to spray it away from your skin. It is strong but not strong note wise just longevity wise. I smelled the residue on my bed comforter later last night when I went to bed. I'm wearing it today and it's the drydowm I love and it's what lingers and lingers forever. I get a milky scent but I think it's the ginger maybe mixing with the vanilla. I really like it and it lasts and doesn't change much after the initial spray that is. Glad I blind bought this and I'm really glad I tried this brand, I like the outdoorsy concept of their scents. I think I'll still look for the other one too. Edit: Ok the whiffs I'm getting all day are so good. I don't even know what it smells like lol. I want all the women's scents from this brand!!

I don't know exactly what people mean by oriental floral as I have never smelled it, but I assume that is good because I have got a lot of compliments on this perfume. It is fruity and sweet and smells quite different from the other Victorinox bottles. Also it is a quite strong scent perfume that lasts really long. I am not exactly sure but I think this is eau de toilette so it is surprising that it lasts long. Overall, a very sweet and feminine perfume with a quite charming bottle.
