Mystique Forest

A gorgeous walk through sweet woods for an amazing price. I'm glad I have a nice Swiss fragrance for when I want to feel as if I'm secluded in nothing but verdant nature about to stumble upon a fairy hole. It could be that the familiar male fragrance others are trying to remember is Aspen. It's not exactly the same, but it's similar enough. Aspen is much more floral and sweet and more green that woody, but it's what came to mind when I first smelled it. Great longevity, soft to moderate silage, this is something my son described to me as "like fresh air" (he's nine; cut him some slack for lack of detail). For this girl whose soul dwells in enchanted forests, this was the perfect comforting scent to find. I'm sure it'll turn into a bedtime fragrance for how calming it is.

Why do people put another perfume by the same brand, under “reminds me of?!” It is redundant to me. And most importantly, It ends up bumping other (cheaper lol) brands that small the same, to the bottom of the ‘list.’ IMO. lol I digress. 🥸 —————————- Back to the scent. If you dig pine?! This is your gal. Although pine isn’t in the notes. It for sure smells like a beautiful light pine. If you want to smell like you’ve been in a Canadian piney, fresh and dewy forest the whole day?! Pick er up! 🌲 I wish I had the budget for beautiful perfumes again. Even the cheapies are out of reach to me. Ie: BBW LOL CHEERS from 🇨🇦

Love the bottle and love the fragrance, fresh and invigorating - recently bought two on line. I am pleasantly surprised by the high quality from this brand. Green, sparkling and uplifting and as others have said, totally addictive.

Smelling this scent I get a clear image of a green forest in spring time, the sun is shining, flowers are blooming underneath the trees, dew is dripping, and birds are singing. It's green but also fairly sweet, almost too sweet to my taste, but this is counterbalanced perfectly by the dominant woody and earthy notes. I don't get any pines or firs like others mentioned though, my forest seems to consist of mossy, non-coniferous trees. Victorinox Swiss Army is a rather suprising brand for fragrances and their other female scents are definitely too sweet for me, but Mystique Forest is one of my favorites, a feel-good scent for happy times. Also it's long lasting on me and has a pretty heavy sillage, so I like to wear it when going outdoors.

Maybe because, based on the notes, I was expecting a strong fresh greenish woodsy earthy scent and instead I found just a soft and sweet green apple smell with a very elusive and distant forest reminiscense, I was disapponted. I don't hate it, but I don't love it as I was hoping to. It's nothing to write home about, but it's nice and refreshing, sweet, easy to wear. Suitable for warmer days. On me it sits close to the skin from the very beggining and lasts 3 hours tops. I'll finish it pretty quickly because I have to reapply 3 or more times in order to smell it through the day. I won't repurchase it.

This is wonderful - a spicy, herbaceous top note smells like you are walking through a pine/fir forest, and then later you get a floral smell kind of like a warm rose - must be the magnolia or apple. This is a fresh, crisp scent that picks you up and makes you feel good. I really am happy I purchased this. Also the bottle is beautiful - there are gold speckles/stars all over the top part of the ombre green glass bottle.

Smells like a sweet, wet forest. While being in this enchanted forest, you happen to have a basket with you while collecting herbs. I didn't expect much from a Swiss army knife brand but this had me by surprise. I never smelled anything like this! A fresh, herbal yet sweet scent that's addicting. Smelling this makes me want to take my shoes off, walk bare foot and smile.

This doesn't smell like a forest to me, more like a very green apple. I get the woody notes and a bit of the leafiness, but it's mostly an apple-like scent on me. The longevity is impressive but a bit too sweet to be considered a "forest" scent to me.

This perfume is really unique! It's definitely woody and fresh, like walking through a forest after a rain shower. I get hints of the fig leaf and apple tree in the beginning, which is surprisingly pleasant. The mossy base note lingers for hours.

This is a real hidden gem. It is fresh, watery, woodsy, and green - all without smelling anything like typical fragrances from any of those genres. If you want a refreshing fragrance that isn't aquatic or citrus, you should try this.

What a disaster. This smells like an old gel type air freshener to me, especially at first. I can't imagine an occasion to wear this. On the dry down, it becomes a bit less sweet, but not really attractive, especially for a man. I really don't see this as a unisex fragrance. The one thing I could see this used for is scenting pages in an old book, especially an old fantasy novel or historical fiction. But as a fragrance to wear, I won't give it a second chance.

Oh my gosh, I was expecting the smell of pine, what a disappointment. This is definitely a forest, but not one that you can wear. I will have to use this as an expensive air freshener. 🙁

Well contrary to others, I do smell pine, it was what I first thought, pine and lemon and apple and incense. Though I know the notes don't match. This is not a keeper for me. The dry down is a tad less intense it's not entirely vile. It smells like autumn woods to me I get a smokey woody smell, an incense note it reminds me of the fall when leaves are burning. There is a green note also. It's very interesting I must say I admire the creativity. I walk in the woods a lot and really wanted to like this but it smells too masculine to my nose though the apple gives it a sweetness. It's drying down now and that's not as bad. I first thought it would be a nice fall room spray especially if you've got a fireplace to explain the smokey vibe. So interesting. but I have several loves and this doesn't fit in the rotation. So far I often wear Ralph Lauren Polo Sport Women for casual things like walks in the woods and this would be less welcome. I would rather wear that. I was just curious about this one. I think a masculine woman could pull this off, no offense. anyone could. I don't agree that it needs to be relegated to a room spray either but it could suit that purpose also. Very unique to my nose.

Smells just like my husband's Acqua di Parma Fico di Amalfi at a tiny fraction of the price. Go FIG-ure (comedy punchline rimshot!). It's a cold, wet day, not raining but overcast and humid. Damp decaying leaves cover the ground. Mystique Forest fits that mood with its sweet green leafy feel. There is fig leaf without saltiness or sunshine. Of course fig trees have lost all leaves this time of year, but the smell of Mystique Forest is more wet nonspecific leaves than intense fig leaf. With the apple tree notes it has more of a sweet sap smell like a lumberyard or freshly felled tree. Not pine. It's that deciduous forest smell of decay and sweetness, no camphoraceous conifer scent. Oddly comforting under very specific conditions (cold, cloudy, humid). It's amazing that anyone ever realized women would sometimes want to smell like this. Very refreshing. Moderate longevity and not strong sillage, just a quiet companion scent for murky days spent reading or cocooning. Yes, very much a cocooning fragrance. Makes me think of a woodland tree house such as would have been inhabited by Winnie the Pooh, earthy leaf mould.

Sorry to bring rain to this parade of rave reviews, but when I first tried Mystic Forest it was in a department store (Kohl's). It seemed promising and i was really feeling the green forest allusion. However, the tester bottle I purchased online did not sit right with me. MF became synthetically toned plastic and the cardamom and carrot seed were having a big clash. I wound up giving this one away. It seems to be a bit young to be off, age-wise, and don't want to say I was sold a dupe, but its hard to explain away the disparities between the department store sampling and the tester. I have to echo the sentiments of RB2002: " . . .I was expecting to like this, since I recall when herbal/ green scents like this were popular in bath & body products, and I used to really like them (the original green Herbal Essence shampoo, for example). Maybe I got a bad bottle, but this smelled very strong, cheap and artificial to me? I ended up giving this away :(. . . ."

The only sweet green fragrance I’ve ever smelled. It smells like a mossy forest out of a storybook with fresh molasses in the distance. It is green and sweet which sounds very strange but somehow works here. I like to wear it strictly outdoors in nature as it doesn’t smell the same when worn inside. Imagine smelling your favorite pine/ fir candle mixed in with your favorite apple pie candle. I can see this being perfect for the Halloween season, as well as in the winter when you’re yearning for green. This is very unisex. It’s a mood fragrance that you wear for yourself, to embody a character or a scene. Projection is strong and two sprays are enough to last all day

These reviews are so interesting! Makes me wonder if there's huge batch discrepancy 🤔 I am catching strong fem watery florals. Maybe an apple blossom tree. Pale ethereal Nymph vibes wearing an elaborate floral tiara near a clear rock moss babbling misty spring. This lasts forever and is surprisingly strong. Watch out on the sprayer - basically a windex jet spray hose. Could not begin to imagine this on a man so very surprised by the unisex vote count.

My first Victorinox. At first spray I loved this soft enveloping forest scent. Later I tried again, and the warm fig leaf took away the freshness of the forest. I left it for a while and tried again, and this time I had a warm sunshiny forest and enjoyed the fig leaf. If you want cool fresh invigorating Fougere forest, this is not it. But a softer childlike forest in the summer, it may be.
