It's a hybrid fruit/aromatic fougere that tones down the citrus of the original in favor of fruity red apple notes while keeping the same herbal, floral and spicy notes as the original. It also adds in a slight touch of vetiver to smooth everything out. Sweet red apple, lavender and mint are the most prominent notes here. Older users may not find it having the same appeal as the drier original due to the sweeter fruit note. This is great for warmer weather and outdoor activities. It's pleasant and refreshing as the original but with a bit of deeper nuance. Performance is good and the bottle has a great look that will actually remind you of a Swiss Army utility knife, so much so that I can't believe this wasn't used for the original. This is a pretty versatile mass appealing fragrance that could be used almost anywhere. It's unisex and performs well. Really can't go wrong here. Recommended.

I received this as a gift after wearing the Swiss Army Classic for so many years. However, this fragrance doesn't quite have the same feeling as the original. It isn't a bad scent however, opening with a burst of red apple before taking on a similar path in the sense that it dries down to a wearable, earthy fragrance. I would say it is definitely unisex but leaning masculine. At around £12.50 for 100ml in the UK at the time of review it is not a bad option for someone looking for a cheapie to "chuck on" as it can be worn year-round for any occasion, the red apple note ensuring it is suitable for summer whereas the original performed better in the other seasons. Longevity - Low Projection for 30 minutes, skin scent for 2 hours.
