Swiss Army Forest

Man I love this stuff! This was an instant hit with me because it is as close to Polo Modern Reserve as I can find these days. Modern Reserve was the absolute best flanker ever created in my opinion. I fell head over heels for it back in '08 when it was released to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Polo Green. After it served this purpose, it was sadly discontinued. However, while not an exact replica, this comes pretty darn close in my opinion. I remember Modern Reserve having a bit more spice. A feature I always attributed to the Pimento note. Forest lasts a lot longer than you might think and has gotten me some really flattering compliments as well. In an office setting oddly enough.

This is beautiful and unique. True to its name - really foresty and green. Worth trying !

It's a modern update of the aromatic fougere formula like the original that dials up the green herbaciousness. This is fresh, clean and soapy. It blends herbal, spicy, woody, floral and soapy aromas, and you'll pick up notes of pine, oakmoss, cedar wood, citrus and juniper. The oakmoss is dialed back to a pleasant degree so this won't remind younger users of days gone by. This performs moderately so expect to overspray and respray. While the longevity is pretty good, the projection is the issue as it falls to a skin scent fairly quickly. This is great for social activities but note that if you are outdoors, it may actually get lost in an actual green environment. This isn't unisex, I can't see women using it due to the strong pine and herbal aromas. Recommended.

This is a fresh fragrance that while initially coming across as simple, has some very nice accents as it burns down from top notes to base. If you're into stacking fragrances as I am, you might find this one an affordable, yet fresh base fragrance on which to place another scent, getting more mileage out of it. With a green freshness similar to Lucky You (Lucky Brand) but more complex and sweet, I found myself somehow being reminded of D&G's Intenso. A quick experiment revealed that the two fragrances complement each other delightfully. I'm sure this fragrance will stack well with many other fresh, woodsy scents as well, and my next experiment with this fragrance will be combining it with Issey Miyake's Pour Homme Intense.

This is a great fragrance. It reminds me of carrying fresh cut pine logs over to my outdoor fire pit. Occasionally some of the sap from the pine will get onto my fingers and it has a marvelous sticky pine smell. My wife doesn't care for this because of the pine but obviously it is the point of wearing this fragrance. So I wear it for me and my smelling pleasure. Put some on, close your eyes and escape from your neighborhood and picture yourself in the Northwest woods taking a nap in the woods. Awesome. Fabulous juice. Highly recommend it.
