What a delightful combination! It really is an all time favourite I couldn't possibly live without. Its freshness is an irresistible invitation to feel joy. It's like an explosion of happiness on your skin. A real masterpiece.

Very pretty white floral but the musk here ruins this for me. It's that dirty, sweaty kind of musk, sort of animalic, but not quite. Whatever type of musk they used weighs the floral notes down. I thought this would be a fresh scent from all the reviews, but the musk is having a blanket effect, muting the floral notes and not allowing them to shine through. It could be that being I tried this from a vintage mini it has lost some of its sparkle, but more than likely they just killed this with an overload of musk. Still pretty, though heavy and not refreshing or uplifting at all. Despite one reviewer thinking there are citrus notes here, maybe there were some at one time that had since disintegrated, as I am not getting that at all, nor is it listed in the notes. That's too bad as this could have used a good addition of citrus to give this perfume some much needed lift. As it is now, I can't see wearing this in warm weather though it might work in transitional seasons. It still wouldn't be for me though, as I do not like the type of musk used here.

I had this in the late 90's. It's now thanks to a mini collection from that era that I'm reunited. It's a pity it's discontinued, why? I'm sure it worked for many. I can pick in the opening lotus and orange blossom, the latter can be tricky to me, but it's not heady, on the contrary, very soft, subdued. No gardenia at all. It's dreamy, light and young as a young woman in her early twenties.. The dry-down is still mainly orange blossom, soft jasmine and musk. I'm not a floral kind of person anymore, with very few exceptions, but if you ever doubt about it, just grab it.
