No 5 Jazmim Exótico

It is very hot and humid here right now, so I longed for some eaux that can be sprayed with abandon. Found the aguas from V&L. A steal, in huge bottles. Just received the aguas 3, 4, 5 and 6 (blind buy, I mean, for that price...), And this one reminded me of something, took a moment. The earthy, bitter note, and then I got it: Coco Mademoiselle. Not quite, but certainly a cousin, or maybe a younger sister. So if you like CM, but can't afford it, try this one. I like it. Hoped for something more original, but it is nice nonetheless.

Sprayed it on in the "perfumeria" a few hours ago, at first it is very citrusy, then comes the rose and patchouli and a few hours later the praline is there. And finally they all melt together with a light floral note. Beautiful!

Bought a used bottle 150ml on eBay for a few £. Absolutely a great find and I regret I didn't know it before. Oh sweet bergamot and rose. Where have you been all my life ? The bottle is so beautifully simple, the juice is pink and the smell is pink but in a mature way. It's not EDP but some watered down EDT but it is better than some EDP. Now, it's a sparkly pink champagne in a bottle, but more Dry than sweet. It's very feminine, fresh and flowery at the same time. I am not good in detecting notes but the rose is not cloying like in some other perfumes I have ( See by Chloe or Especially Escada). It's fresh and uplifting, and because the scent transforms after 30 minutes into something really feminine and sublime, I would really say it's a very expensive, high quality like perfume which you could expect from more famous houses.

Used to wear this because i couldnt afford anything else and i loved it, not i find it intoxicating. There is no praline in it and instead a really artificial smell that gives me headaches
