Hedonist Cassis

I have been following the Viktoria Minya perfumes. I have seen the progress and the new perfumes coming out. Till now I have to say that Iris and Hedonist Cassis are my favorite. i adore the iris musky-woody scent. Hedonist Cassis gives me the perfect scent balance. I am not into the very sweet scents. This one is fruity, fresh, I feel the fresh green grass as I apply it, than the dominant grapefruit comes up and a slight cedar hits my nose. It s lovely, pleasant. I ve been looking for these scents for a long time in this combination. I think I found something unique. The bottle again is lovely, like at all Hedonist perfumes.

As a lover of Les Belles de Ricci Liberty Fizz in the 90s, I eventually ordered a bottle of this! The initial spray was all about grapefruit, later I gave myself two big spritz and I started to have a different impression. It seems that Les Belles de Ricci Liberty Fizz was a bit more tart, tangy greener and fizzier, could possibly be the qualities of tomato leaf which can’t be duplicated 100%, but they are almost identical. To me this is a nostalgic scent, a scent that reminds me of my youth, endless summer and poolside parties. Makes me happy. Reminds of the song, Gordon's Gardenparty by The Cardigans.

Visually, this may not be screaming unisex, but nosmically it sure is. I'm surprised to see that it's listed as "for women" – I can think of many a man who would wear this well. Hedonist Cassis doesn't scream cassis either. It's light, crisp, and joyful. There's a hint of black currant leaves, but I don't think I'd pick that out if I hadn't seen the notes or the name of this perfume. Hedonist Cassis is simply springtime in a bottle. It smells like the very first green buds of flowers and leaves.

This beauty works the best in hot summer time on me or on my Mother. We both LOVE this parfume, I gave it to Her for Mothersday and I always using when I’m visiting Her😘. It has a very feminin and elegant but also refreshing vibe what comes the best way when the degrees are above 28. The blackcurrant plays so good with grapefruit and cassis ( my fav. summer note) what is so strongly prominant here. The whole composition is a beautifule sour fruity green dream. ❤️❤️❤️

Light, fresh, sweet, energetic, sensual and exciting. I really love it. Sort of fizzy fruity and fresh. It is full bottle worthy and very soon! I love the black current, but I also get the grapefruit vibe, which I love as a note. It is refreshing and well blended and very smooth. This is an anytime, anywhere, any season frag, but it is spirited yet sensual with an incense dry down slightly with the wood. You cannot lose with this one. It is a quiet winner!

This is something alluring. When I saw the bottle,immediately caught my attention. The scents are amazing, the black current is felt as soon as you apply it. Than a green fresh fragrance comes up with that unique rose aroma. Perfect for spring, but perfect in any season. Another big surprise for me is the crystal in the bottle, REAl crystal. Great estetique taste. Almost everyone around me complimented and asked me about the perfume. Lovely

I purchased this fragrance while on a visit to Prague at Egoist Perfumes. I love! It is a blend of my top favorites though I have to admit. I am all about the blend of green, rose and musk. To me the top spray is like lilac vs. black current. And the bottle design is divine. Purple is my favorite color...maybe I am biased because of this. I do wish the scent lasted a bit longer but love having the FB on my perfume tray.

loved it, i am following this perfumer for a while and saw her in some perfume exhibitions in Italy and i am more and more liking her creations.this Cassis version of the Hedonist series is the second perfume around Cassis i want to have (i bought the sample to check first :)) since YSL’s In Love Again. it surely is a daring creation. i will ask Santa to buy it for me :D

So my bottle has arrived. When you have it in your hands it is even greater. The bottle is just beautiful, it s elegant, gorgius, it lift you mooode. The perfume itself is great , the black currant, grapefruit, rhubarb are indeed the top notes love it. It is fresh, I like that the notes develop in a kind of sequence, adore it. And it lasts long.

A perfume which catches the eternal spring feeling. I love the black currant and musk scents, it hits my nose when I apply it. The bulgarian rose and the fresh green grass gives me that after rain atmosphere, when the sun comes out of the clouds and the vet grass is shining. Above these impressions, an elegant fruity scent.

I have been applying and wearing this for a week now. I have to say it is a pleasant surprise for me. A unique fruity fresh scent perfect for spring. For me grapefruit and rhubarb is the dominant, of course I feel the black currant as well, but grapefruit caught better my nose :)

What fragrantica lists as top notes are indeed correct. I can feel the black current scent as long as it s applied, that doesn t go away. Great longevity. It s super fresh, very fruity , but not that playful fruity, this one is an elegant fruity which you can wear on a date.

I ordered a sample of this, and I don t regret it. A very interesting fruity scent aroma, I love it. I was a pleasant surprise for me. The black currant scent which is the dominant is mixed with a slight of lemon, rose and cedar. Great mix.

I love love love this perfume, totally my favorite smell in the world, but.... a big But... it disappears in 20 to 35 min😔 I use it when I relax in my bed, reaplying every 15 min Gorgeous, smells like heaven!

A friend shew me this, she even shew me her sample. I applied on me and it has been giving me these great fragrances. I adore the black currant and grapefruit. I like that it lasts long.

A green fruity floral for the warmer months, or when you just want to feel summery. In the opening Hedonist Cassis reminds me of Jo Malone's Blackberry & Bay. Same leafy greenery, grapefruit freshness and tart berries. But this one is sweeter and richer with a base of beautiful roses and creamy musk. I don't find the green note in this grassy, which is a plus for me because I am one of those weirdos who just really don't like the scent of freshly mown grass. It's not as bad in perfumes, sometimes it even works, but in real life I find it hard to breathe when I smell it. Cassis is my favorite of the Hedonist fragrances I tried (this, Hedonist and Hedonist Rose). They're all not one bit similar to each other. Hedonist Cassis just a happy and carefree scent. Maybe a bit overpriced, it smells like a mid-range designer fragrance to me, but a good one. Not quite a love, but a strong like. I wouldn't have put this into a purple bottle, it smells like hot pink with green to me. Unfortunately I can't really remember what exactly the fragrance with the most similarity votes right now, Nina Ricci's Liberty Fizz, smelled like. I only know I liked it when I was little. But I do think that bottle colors would be a good match for this scent.

This definitely has cross overs with Les Belles De Ricci Liberty Fizz and that's why I wore it as my signature for a little while after LF was discontinued. It's sharper and crisper and is a strong and very dry rose note, unlike LF which has softer and fluffier florals. All in all, Hedonist Cassis is a lovely fragrance! It has the feeling of vodka over lots of ice... that sort of extreme crispness, so I prefer it in summer and find it a bit too acidic in colder months. Small scent bubble on me with medium longevity, so the price is a bit steep for the performance tbh. I actually find that it smells VERY similar to Miller Harris Lost in the City but it's not showing up in the votes for some reason.

this opens with grapefruit and currant leaf; it's very astringent. then i get some rhubarb and grass. it's super tart and green. a few seconds later i get more of the blackcurrant fruit itself, sweetening things up a bit. i appreciate how realistic and unsweet this is. it's perfect for warm weather when you want just a touch of sweetness. rhubarb can go screechy too, but thankfully here it does not. a lovely grassy blackcurrant that speaks of warm summer days.

A pretty and kinda nostalgic perfume. Reminds me of the fruity fresh girly perfumes I used to lust after while sniffing at the department stores in my early twenties in the early 2000’s. Apart from the gorgeous bottle, this is simply a “pretty” fragrance with not much of a backbone, and most definitely not worth the retail price. It lacks projection, intensity and an all-round oompf.
