Hedonist Iris Absolute

This is the best iris/cocoa fragrances for me. I love iris and have smelled so many, this will always be one of my favorites. I’ve noticed this line isn’t on luckyscent anymore and thought I’d give anyone who is interested the tip of going to scentsplit for samples or bottles while you can still get them in the USA. I hope the hedonist line doesn’t get discontinued.

Just ordered a full bottle, have been debating for almost a year. I kept coming back to this sample. So subtle, intriguing, beautiful. Comforting and mysterious, like all good fragrances (in my opinion) it recalls wispy memories that so frustratingly never full manifest but keep me smelling my wrist to try to remember.

For me it is the best cacao scent in the market! Jes, I have the leathers and the iris but for me the cacao is the main dominant note...hmm...it is very good. Edit: I think it is much more masculine than Hedonist Iris becouse of the leathers.

I am wearing Hedonist Iris Absolute for the first time today and it's an absolute love for me. Knowing that it is only going to get better the longer it sits and recovers from it's journey has me wishing I could speed up the process! I get most of the cacoa in the opening, then the iris and vanilla in the mids. Now that it's entering it's final stage, the leather and suede are emerging, and all the notes have joined together, leaving a gorgeous and opulent scent. It's one of those "I Can't Stop Sniffing My Wrist" fragrances. I may need a backup bottle!

This scent is a lovely, soft suede and leather. Very well blended. No sharp edges at all. This is suede/leather for the sophisticated, and for someone who wants a really good quality scent that is beautifully unisex. The iris is of course there but melds seamlessly with the leather and suede, along with the beautiful cocoa drydown which has a touch of sweetness but is just shy of gourmand. I do get just a hint of BR540 as well but this is by NO means a dupe or anything of the sort. It is just a whisper, perhaps the safriole? I don't recall the exact ingredient that gives BR540 it's signature note but there is just a hint in here as well and I really love it! The whole composition is soft and seamless, like a nice Guerlain. Amazing job, Viktoria. This is one house I can really get behind. No churning out 20 perfumes a year just to do it. There is a real sense of quality over quantity, and even though these perfumes are pricey, they are absolutely worth the price. Sometimes you really do get what you pay for. Absolutely full bottle worthy. I am just in awe of her talent.

I bought this for my mum in 2019 and just thought it was a nice scent. Smelt it this morning 6th Oct, 24 and my oh my! What a gorgeous scent! The cacao was the first note I got, beautifully blended with the suede and iris. My only complaint then and now is its longevity. It starts off pretty strong but dies down very quickly.

A bold and dark start from this one as the smoke and oud initially howls against the powdery iris background. The cacao is dark, bitter and powdered. The rum is strong and there’s a fermented dried fruit note with makes this syrupy sweet. Think of this as an Arabian iris.

This is one of the most perfect iris and suede perfumes that exist. It’s absolutely solid in its composition and the cacao is intriguing. When it comes to niche, this surpasses 98% of what I’ve smelt in the last 5 years.
