Bonbon Cola Fizz

Tested this on skin and test strip at Ulta. I absolutely LOVE the opening of this, it’s photorealistic coke with lemon and perfect for hot weather. Unfortunately both cola and citrus notes leave my skin in 15 minutes. I got around 30 minutes max on the test strip before drying down to a nondescript and one note white floral. The citrus notes stick around a bit longer on the test strip into the drydown. The scent on my skin was gone completely in 30 minutes. So bummed! Will try testing on fabric because I loved this, but honestly my Bath and Body Works body mist with a similar scent profile (I Scream Float) lasts far longer than this on my skin and remains fizzy cola in the drydown. Edit: Went back to Ulta and tested on fabric. Cola scent basically gone in 30 minutes, dry down is white musk after that. I do get small whiffs of the cola scent for a couple hours afterwards, but it’s so faint I almost wonder if I am imagining things... Edit 2: I bought this because I had an Ulta coupon and because I couldn’t get the scent out of my head, it’s become my favorite cola scent for however long it lasts. I did notice the third time I tested this in store that the fragrance smelled much stronger once it had been used a bit, so I am going to let my bottle sit after getting some air in the bottle and see what happens. 🤞

Doesn't scratch the itch of a "true" cola scent, but to its credit the longevity is the best I've tried so far, and the best smelling. This should've been more accurately named "Cola Candy", "Cola Pop" (this one would be a fun little double entendre), "Sticky Cola", something of that nature: the other reviews are right that this smells more like cola-flavoured candy rather than the drink itself. Think gummy cola bottles or cola flavoured Chupa Chups. Still great smelling, and the cola-like notes actually stick around for about ~2 hours on my skin. The base has some vague white florals thrown in there, jasmine? It's soft though, won't irritate most noses. Overall longevity is 4-5h, which isn't GREAT but none of these "cola" scents have noteworthy lasting power in my experience, and more detrimentally, they usually lean masculine. This is similar to Born To Be Unforgettable but without the nauseating base notes (that are present in most male frags) that give me a headache! Anyway, I have to say this is pretty darn good, much respect to Viktor&Rolf. Will probably pick up a travel size, and if it wears even better in colder weather I may commit to a full size!

I want to wear this during the fall season and see how it fares, because in the humidity it lingers quite well without becoming suffocating. I was worried the test strip was getting my expectations too high, but this smells just as good on my skin and clothes! I don't know if I'll buy it again full price, but for the price i got it for, I'm quite satisfied and happy with this. Don't get a cleaning product smell, mainly cola and musk. I was worried the lemon would be too sharp, but thankfully not!

It's opening with a cola citrus-y smell. After a while the citrus is more prominent. I can't stop smelling myself. You can compare it to a Haribo cola candy. It's addicting and I think I will be buying a backup bottle. Unfortunately it's not very longlasting. But that's the only negative thing. I am really happy with this release.

Love this one so much! Absolutely perfect for summer. Immediately got very strong cola notes from first spray. After around an hour faded into a peppery lemon scent. Didnt really get the cleaning product smell some mentioned, 10/10!!
