Bonbon Couture

The better Bonbon! Yes, it‘s similar to the original, but it‘s much warmer, more gourmand and oriental. While I found Bonbon EDP mainly fruity with caramel accents, Couture is caramel with fruity accents. I can still clearly smell the peach and orange, but the main note is a wonderfully creamy caramel. The patchouli and white tobacco aren‘t that strong in my opinion, this is not a patch-gourmand a la Angel. But these notes bring a very subtle depth and darkness to the otherwise bright and girly scent, not much, just enough to make it sparkle a little. The vanilla is a lovely base for the other notes, it‘s noticeable without taking the center stage. No, this is definitely not the most innovative scent on the planet, BUT not everything has to be and this does its thing really well. It‘s more intense than the EDP, but not loud overwhelming. Everything is blended so smoothly, there is nothing screechy in this, no sharp artificial smelling vanilla or scratchy florals, just comforting warmth and juicy fruits. It‘s not a literal foody scent though, it does smell like a perfume. For some reason it reminds me a little of my B&BW Snowflakes & Cashmere lotion, like a more refined version of the same concept. They would layer well. If I didn‘t already have several caramel scents of different kinds, I would get a bottle. If you still need a pretty fruity caramel, I recommend Bonbon Couture. PS: At the moment it has 5 votes as similar to Jimmy Choo Fever. In my opinion they‘re not similar at all and this is so much better.

I would venture to say, it is "darker" than the original. I feel that this darkness comes from the note of white tobacco, a note that also gives this fragrance, depth, intensity and a sensual, addictive character. A note, which I can smell all the time, from the opening to the drydown. It is a scent that makes you stand out - Without shouting it. It is another safe & sweet perfume, definitely a gourmand, but it's not foody or as girly, dizzying and syrupy as the original. Ιt is flowery and smoky. Certainly in colder weather its notes unfold better, but I think it's ideal for all seasons and all hours, except summer. (it's neither light nor fresh) All the ingredients are perfectly blended, so much so that I feel like I've wrapped my wrists with a luxurious, smooth fabric, such as cashmere, or silk. White flowers, dipped in creamy rich caramel, with a few drops of playful peach and ripe orange, with sandalwood crumbs... and this whole girly image is "soiled" by white tobacco and patchouli-and that's what makes it sophisticated and not immature. Εasy to wear and mysterious at the same time.The one who wears it, looks happy and extroverted, but hides a multifaceted personality, that this fragrance invites you to discover. The words about the bottle are unnecessary: Enchanting. And these pastel/matte areas that it has, which the original does not have, show this *extra quality* that the couture offers. Found BonBon Couture @Saks during my trip to NYC. Of course I grabbed me a bottle, which is just gorgeous. I've only sprayed it once, and it's definitely creamier/a bit more of a vanilla/cream and caramel combo this time around. I'm going to compare the 2 side-by-side at one point. It's definitely smoother/blended better, if that's the word/saying. It's not so in-your-face like the super syrupy sweetness of the original. There's definitely a spice/more warm or something to this one as well. That said, I'm not about to say it's groundbreaking or anything. Is it more sophisticated? A bit I guess. It's just not as syrupy/candied as the original. In the end, it's just another sweetie. I have to test it more, but being a gourmand and V&R fan, I just had to have it. 2nd Test: Simply put, it's spicy warm caramel on top, and dries down to a spicy, warm, and woody vanilla/cream and caramel combo for the rest/majority of its duration. It's a simple little thing, like the original. I think it's delicious, which is all that matters right? Haha! Here's to more BonBons I say! PS: I'd love a new Flowerbomb as well, and not just another summer flanker. Let's make that happen V&R! Yes? Haha!

I have tested it in perfume store. This perfume I prefer it on the "original Bonbon" it have more vanilla gourmand delicious sweety in mature way with a little amount not annoyning me of Patchouli instead of Amber. In General, Amber is an ingrediant I prefer existness of it in perfumes, but the "original Bonbon" have more intensive citrusy note spoil the beauty of it, here the citrusy is exist lighter. This fragrance suitable to wear it at night or during the day, in winter or Autumn seasons. It lasts along time. I love to own this perfume in the near future. لقد جربته في محل عطور، هذا العطر أفضله على "بونبون الأصلي" فهو يحتوي على المزيد من الفانيليا اللذيذة الشهية الحلوة بطريقة ناضجة مع كمية قليلة لا تزعجني من الباتشولي بدلاً من العنبر. بشكل عام، العنبر هو أحد المكونات التي أفضل وجودها في العطور، لكن "بونبون الأصلي" يحتوي على نوتة حمضية أكثر كثافة تفسد جماله، هنا تكون النوتة الحمضية أخف. هذا العطر مناسب لارتدائه ليلاً أو نهارًا، في فصل الشتاء أو الخريف. يدوم طويلاً. أحب امتلاك هذا العطر في المستقبل القريب.

I find the original to be too cloying/syrupy sweet and I definitely find this version to be superior. The creamy white florals balance out the caramel and make it just an all-around gorgeous, warm scent. The white tobacco note is interesting/unique and lends itself well to the overall fragrance. Definitely in my top three favorite caramel perfumes! VLJ Gold is another one of my favs but that one is more sexy/playful (berries, white florals, caramel) compared to this one (white tobacco, white florals, caramel). Bonbon Couture is the perfect signature scent if you love caramel because it’s gorgeous and appropriate in any kind of setting. It’s not too loud/overwhelming and it doesn’t smell like something you’d only wear on a night out clubbing. It’s somewhat of a skin scent, if anything, so it would be better for more intimate date nights anyway. ALSO. The dry down is heaven. Wait thirty minutes and you’ll see. I love it.

It is THEE MAC-DADDY WERTHERS CARAMEL gourmand. Plus MAJOR SEX APPEAL. Let's break it down.. Peach lends itself not to a fruity note, but to a lactonic one-- at least on me. The neroli is soft, and the mandarin orange subdued but adds a pretty sweetness. Orange blossom is one of my favorite florals, a bit animalic, and the Jasmine sambac is not overpowering as sometimes jasmines can be. The caramel is a luscious dream of werthers original, but deeper, and the vanilla is expected. The sandalwood is a happy addition and adds more depth and more lactonic nuance. The white tobacco flower is so incredibly alluring and surprising, along with the patchouli. I will always have this in my collection. It is not only my favorite, but my husbands, on me, as well. I would say that it is a very dense scent, that lasts a long time, and projects well. A beast mode gourmand. Highly recommend.

Being a huge gourmand lover and being on a huge caramel, vanilla, dulce de leche, Tonka, praline (etc) binge right now I have to say I love this. Tried both edp and couture at Ulta and went straight o the most caramel-y, warmer, sweeter one. There’s not much to be said, seems like a lot of pp seem to find it generic, boring, synthetic, etc, but to me this is an uncomplicated fragrance that has the warmth and sweetness of caramel that’s just delicious. My skin projects beautiful whiffs of caramel and vanilla as I move around and that, I must say. is exactly what I wanted from this fragrance!! I don’t know what the dry down will be like or how long this will last, will update once I have an opinion on that but so far I love this yummy caramel smell and it makes me happy and comforted!

Hands down the best perfume I have ever smelled. I hate flowerbomb and the original bonbon was way too sweet and cloying. This scent is very sweet but has that hit of freshness that stops it from smelling too sickly. I am a Tom Ford, Chanel wearing girl. So for me to have this as a favourite is a bold statement. It's amazing. Perfection. I have over 40 perfumes and this has blown them all out of the water. This winter (2016/2016) I have been alternating between bonbon couture.. tom ford pour femme.. Prada candy (LOVE IT) and Donna by Valentino. But if I could afford to wear this every single day and keep repleneshing my supply I so would. Safe to say I'm in love. If you like Prada Candy type scents you will LOVE this perfume. 10/10.

I am in love with this fragrance, I love Viktor and Rolfs Flowerbomb anyway, but I'm not that keen on the original Bonbon, its too acidic/sharp and not sweet enough for me. This one is just delicious, at first spray there is a fresh burst of orange blossom, mandarin and peach with just a hint of white flowers, this lasts for about 15-30 mins on my skin. Then after about 40 mins or so, it changes to a beautiful warm, sweet and creamy caramel and vanilla scent with only the slightest hint of patchouli. This addictive warm sweet scent lingers on my skin for about 4-5hrs but a lot longer on clothing 24hrs+! Bonbon couture is another hit for me and the bottle is just adorable!!

This is by far the better Bon Bon; more complex, spicier, darker and more grown-up. I'm a BIG fan of gourmands and a collector of scents (I own about 38 perfumes, everything from vintage Angel to Chanel Mademoiselle), and I've just discovered this little beauty, after saying "thanks, but no thanks" to the edp Bon Bon. My skin amplifies the almond, neroli, vanilla and patchuli combo and projects it like no other! So, if you like Prada Candy, Angel edt (2019), Hypnotic Poison, Girl of Now, D & G The Only One and Poison Girl, you will LOVE this scent. It's intoxicating for me and for many people within a 6 feet radius of me :)

Goodness, this is sexy. I’ve owned the OG for a while now, I’m a lover of sweet scents/gourmands. As much as I like the original Bonbon, it always kinda felt like something was missing. I never got much depth from it, and the longevity is kinda trash. But this blend here... is everything I ever wanted. I still get the sweet yummy caramel loveliness, and I also get a nice helping of patchouli and tobacco in the base notes?! 🤯 It’s like this was made for me. I bought a travel spray to try it out, and I’m definitely gonna need to hunt down a full bottle when I can afford it.

I live in the northenmost Europe, and during this time of year it's cold, cold, cold and dark, dark, dark all around me. It's also the end of the Holiday Season, which always gives me a bit of the blues... So a big Thank You for this beautiful scent! It's delicious and comforting (because of the caramel and vanilla notes) but also uplifting, almost cheery, because of the mandarin/neroli/peach combo. The pathouli (usually a difficult note for me) behaves and doesn't steal the show. A wonderful fragrance to face the winter working days.

my first perfume I ever bought and still my favorite too this day. so sultry, sexy, and cozy. A perfect mix of sweet and mature. I honestly could’ve not told you a single note in this fragrance, I just feel like everything blends together so smoothly and perfectly. anyways, anyone who talks bad about this perfume I am praying for ur downfall >:(

So I've been wearing this fragrance here and there for the past 3 weeks and this is my conclusion: The opening is HORRIBLE and extremely sharp. But 10 minutes later all i smell is gooey peachy caramel heaven. In facht, the drydown is so delicious that i just deal with the horrendous opening over and over again.

I am in love with this one. This scent was just made for cold weather, I can only describe it as deliciously cozy. It garners compliments whenever I wear it. It warms up fast and dries down to what I imagine a candied Granny Smith apple hot toddy might smell like. It's sooo good!

This is my favourite perfume!If you want a dupe,I would recommend Fantasy,I think it smells a lot like it.It’s a nice,powdery caramel scent. Edit: I’m surprised that so many people don’t like the patchouli scent,I think it suits this perfume!

Much better than the original version of Bonbon which I never liked that much. This is creamy, rich and warm. The patchouli and caramel is most prominent to me and it is sweet but not to sweet. The longevity is very good.

Haven’t smelled the OG Bonbon, but I love this. Definitely too heavy for summer, but in milder weather this is beautiful. A part of me finds this to be a generic permume-y scent, but regardless I still really enjoy this.

I love this perfume, better than the Original BonBon, I got it on sale from Hudson Bay with 30% sale. I love how my skin reacts to it.

My favorite Bon Bon is definitely Couture. Caramel taffy with a nice brightness that prevents this from being cloying on me while still not being fruit forward. It is through and through caramel. Yes patchouli is a tricky note depending, but that and the white tobacco were very much needed to make the caramel note last. I love the addition and it’s not muggy. It helps when you don’t wear this very warm weather. The vanilla ensures the sweetness lasts too and the creamy sandalwood blends all the notes while creating a Dulce de Leche effect. Without this base, BB Couture would’ve turned into a skin “baby wipe” powdery musk that caramel easily does like in Prada Candy. I remember trying this last year at Ulta and it was gorgeous on both my skin and the tester strip, which was very fragrant on my table for the week every time I walked by. On my skin, it lasts just as long although it doesn’t project 6+ hours later. I’m not sure if it’s discontinued now because it’s not in stores but I do see it on fragrancenet. Either way, my travel is enough and fulfills what I was missing: a sweet, non-popcorn, unburnt, dominant caramel fragrance.

Ok, so I received this one today. I like it, but I don't love it. Seems a bit generic to me, nothing super special. I saw that mine is manufactured and I hope it didn't go bad before I even open it. So let me start from the bottle - it's pretty, girly, likable. I have the 30 ml one and still looks like a decent size perfume. The juice has rather dark, golden color. The fragrance itself I liked more than I expected. Hardly I can call it caramel scent, but yes, smells like sugar of some sort. I don't sense much florals which for me is a good thing. I was a bit worried that the white tobacco will be suffocating in a way, overpowering - thankfully there is no such thing. But this does not seems like a complex perfume to me. Sure, there is some notes in it other than just being sweet, but maybe I expected more after all the hype. Longevity is so-so, nothing impressive, but not bad either. Overall for now I have relatively neutral opinion about it. Not bad, not great either. It just doesn't stand out to me and I think it's overpriced for what we are getting. Also there are hardly any reviews for this flanker, not sure why.

More for a classy youthful powerful women I’m a guy but sell colognes and this usually leans more towards a younger women it’s as sweet and strong as a teen fragrance but with more depth and a classier sweetness personally I’ve noted us men will tend to like sweeter smells on women as it comes off as a very feminine and enjoyable smell. the box is pink with a purple ribbon and black seal in the middle sorta popping out. And most girls find the bottle cute. It would definitely look good as a gift also it seems this flanker bon bon couture intense is rather hard to find or get might’ve been discontinued, so get yourself a bottle or sample while you still can at a good price I’d recommend this perfume 8/10

Skin test Not similar to jimmy choo fever imo I feel initially this is white floral - creamy and cool, patchouli - added a huskyness plus fresh green earthy touch early on and caramel is also sweet ans rounded - just like og bon bon and viva l juicy. I dont get the peachy yellow fruit in a fruity way. I see alot of other notes which look interesting only i dont really get much of a punch from them. I loke the sillage from this, that cool almost nice plastic, or playdough plus possibly orange blossom. Prada candy is inthe ballpark I eould have to test my OG bonbon, couture is not like the summer editions This is sweet, rounded, creamy, cool

I purchased a travel size of this blindly a few months ago. To me, it's very strong, synthetic, and sweet smelling. It reminds me of La Vie est Belle, which I strongly dislike. It's very generic to the point where I can't pick out most of the notes except for the overpowering sweetness. The fragrance is strong, so you don't need much. More than one spray gives me a headache. Quite frankly, I don't really like sweet perfumes and I don't anticipate wearing this perfume at all. I wish I returned it when I could, but I was still trying to figure out what I thought about it.

There are instances wherein the flanker is so much better than the original. In this case, Bonbon Couture is. This one is more interesting and more complex, while the OG goes quite linear on me. I just love how it smells. So yummy! I thought this has almond note coz it has that Girl of Now vibes. The white tobacco makes this more wonderful. I only have a small sample of this and I'm hoping this flanker will become available in my country. This is kind of hard to find unfortunately. I’d trade the OG for this!

She is Bonbon's big sister. it's more mature and much sweeter. It's a melting and rich caramel. Afterwards, I perceive peach, sandalwood and vanilla. The drydown of this scent is divine, the white flowers mixed with caramel smell delicious and sophisticated. At the opening it's a little bit sour, but it disappears to become smooth and complex. It' rich, creamy and sweet. If you like Dolce & Gabbana The only one intense, Black Opium by YSL etc, you are going to love this one.

I almost fell in love with Bonbon Couture's warm, gooey caramel scent... if it weren't for the spicy tobacco and jasmine notes. Just not my vibe, coming from an introverted 18 yr old girl, lol. It's verrry loud and verrry sweet, so I wouldn't recommend for the faint of heart. It does smell delicious, so if gourmand scents are your thing, and you don't mind a little smokiness, then I'd say give it a shot :) -Scent 7.5/10 -Sillage 8/10 -Longevity 8/10 -Age range 20-39

Bon Bon amplified.. sweet gooey caramel with peach and orange blossom. Delicious and intoxicating! A great scent for cooler months or date night. It also has some depth because of the patchouli and tobacco but surprisingly it doesn’t last nearly as long as I’d like it to. That’s ok, I have also have a purse size spray just so I can reapply. However, I need to stock up on this beauty since sadly it’s been discontinued.

Better Bonbon! Opening is quite lovely! Not too sweet, just right. However, middle and base notes are lacking something 'special' for me. I mean this scent is really good, a lot better than the first Bonbon, but still, I have to say that it's far from perfection. Anyway, if you are looking for a truly nice caramel scent, try it.

Sweet. Warm. Vanilla. Cozy. I absolutely Love this Scent. It’s Cozy; smells better than BonBon IMO; and last longer. Definitely worth a Sample!

I prefer the original over this one. The floral scents take up too much space and it reminds me of a powder that my grandmother use.

Where is the caramel? I just don't smell it... *Sigh* I honestly do think I am totally anosmic to caramel, which is weird because I can smell it SO MUCH in Gold Couture. Bonbon Couture opens up with an extremely sharp note. At first, I picked out lime without looking at the notes because it was throat-scratchingly sharp and irritating, honestly one of the worst openings in a perfume I've ever smelled, but I'm guessing that's the neroli or perhaps the tobacco note. It's so strong it made me feel sick, but thankfully it does soften a little. I'm all about caramel in a perfume, the more caramel the better - I want to smell like a Worthers Original, dammit!! But this is just... Nice. Peachy, slightly fizzy. Reminds me of something my mum used to wear when I was a kid. Maybe a more toned down Gucci Rush, like the distant cousin that you only invite to special occasions that wears turtle necks and rolls her eyes at swear words. They share four notes from memory, so maybe that's where the comparison is coming from. Boyfriend's Verdict: "Smells alright. I wouldn't want you to wear this all the time though, it's a bit much." I asked him if he could pick out any gourmand notes (yes, he's learning!) and he said "no caramel or vanilla, just citrusy smells." Take what you will from that. Oh well. I think it's okay and a nice everyday, inoffensive fruity/floral with a touch of sweetness, but I purchased the sample for mouthwatering vanilla, lush peach and CARAMELLLLLLL!! And I just don't get that at all. Maybe it's the wrong season for this scent, but I'm so glad I didn't buy a full bottle.

Where Bonbon felt delicately sweet, fruity, clean, and floral at first, this feels a lot more saturated in sweetness. A blast of concentrated loud hypersweet caramel and orange blossom. After 5 minutes, it does smell a bit synthetic and plasticy, just like the original, but I'm also smelling more vanilla. It has a lot more projection and strength than the original and is heavier, too. This seems a bit of a "generic" sweet perfume, but that doesn't mean it doesn't smell good, it's just isn't super unique. 15 minutes later, a juicy oranginess starts to come out more, too. Maybe a bit more floral as well. 20 minutes later I feel like I already can't smell it as much anymore, in terms of it's not as super heavy sweet anymore and seems to have calmed down. My boyfriend said "that's a lot" and was a bit indifferent saying "yeah, it smells good," compared to when I first sprayed and he was also overwhelmed by it being "a lot," but liked it a lot more then. 30 minutes later I feel like I don't smell it much past my skin, and it's got much more of a dirty scent to it, maybe the white tobacco and patchouli. It's not very sweet anymore and I'm not sure how much I like it now, it almost smells like someone cooking a savory sweet dish? Boyfriend also agrees now it no longer smells sweet. After and hour, it was significantly less strong, and after 2 hours, I could pretty much no longer smell this fragrance.

This is just ok in my opinion. It's like Bonbon, but less sweet and a bit more mature and complex. I would like this better if it wasn't for the tobacco note that's in it. Some people may like it, but this is what's killing it for me. On the other hand, when my mom sampled it, I liked it much better on her than on me, but that tobacco note wasn't as strong on her. I guess it works depending on your body chemistry and what you like.

This smells really good but I can't get past the underlying baby wipe smell :(

Very weak, not detecting the difference between this and the original Bonbon.

I like the original Bonbon. I like its smooth candy sweetness and milky dry down. By comparison, Bonbon Couture is a much heavier and somewhat sweeter scent. It lingers longer, but isn't as comfy and friendly as the original. Perhaps it's because my skin tends to take patchouli and send it screaming, but on me, Bonbon Couture smells like Bonbon forgot to take a shower. There's nothing wrong with that. In fact, I kind of like this naughty Bonbon, but I prefer the clean fruity caramel scent of the original. Bonbon Couture starts with an initial sweet citrus burst that holds the promise of something fresh - a promise that quickly fades. Once this initial freshness wears off, I get beautifully syrupy white flowers, closely followed by caramel. I love these stages. The final dry down is almost pure patchouli, but thankfully, it's tempered by vanilla, which remains prominent throughout. And the Viktor & Rolf patchouli is much cleaner than some I've experienced. Sillage is moderate and longevity is excellent. I can go through a full day and still smell this on me 7 hours later without having to shove my arms up my nose. Ultimately, this is a sweet caramel-y treat that's hard to dislike (unless, of course, you dislike sweet scents in general, in which case you probably shouldn't be considering Bonbon in the first place), but also hard to love. There isn't much that is special or interesting about it. Like the original Bonbon, it's a safe comfort scent. I wear it on very cold days when I don't want a challenge (Angel flankers are my favorite cold-weather gourmands, but they can make me nauseated), want to feel cozy, and know the patchouli will behave. I also like to mix Couture with the original Bonbon. But the patchouli-free original Bonbon is the superior Bonbon on me. It's far cleaner, lighter, and more wearable (i.e. I don't have to wait for super cold weather to wear it) and still gives me that sweet caramel experience. YSL's Manifesto provides a similarly sweet, vanilla-intensive, but more interesting experience. Also, no patch!

Something in the top and middle is not at all pleasant and smells like a weird, smoky pickle. (Or some other savory thing that I can’t place.) Nothing in the pyramid lends itself to what I’m smelling so who knows... unless it’s the white tobacco, which seems so smooth in the drydown. Is that the yucky note I’m smelling in the top and middle? The drydown is much better ... warm, ambery vanilla, patchouli, and white tobacco. I don’t find it to be similar to LVEB (which I love), Jimmy Choo Fever (again, love), or even the original Bonbon (yep .. love).

If you hate patchouli do not purchase this! I’m so glad I tried before i bought this perfume because the patchouli just overshadows every single element in this perfume. It has flowerbomb’s DNA, on my skin I only get white floral and patchouli. I’m not getting the sweet, caramel, woodiness from BonBon OG. After a few hours it smelled like Mens cologne to me which I assumes is because of the tobacco note present. Not for me ☹️👎🏻

very pretty scent but vanishes IMMEDIATELY after i spray it on me. i smell it for 2 seconds and right when it starts to dry down i get nothing. disappointing.... i wanna keep it because i love the notes, but that's pointless when there's other scents that i'll be able to actually pick up.

This smells like a music festival where everyone is unshowered after a week and you are in line with them at a caramel apple stand. This smells like what all those 90s celebrities probably smell like after a night of partying and sex, all while wearing their cheap designer fragrances. It smells like dirty patchouli, cheap synthetic vanilla that I associate with 90s designer fragrances, and sweet caramel, all of which combine to smell like what I imagine being stuck inside a rave with tweens wearing the loudest, sweetest, most synthetic vanilla VS-type perfumes they can drown in would be like. I really like the original Bonbon so I thought “a darker, smokier version?? Hells yes sign me up!” so I wasn’t cautious when I sprayed it on my wrists and then for the hells of it added a spritz to the back of my neck. Oh sweet Beelzebub make it go away!!! I’ve scrubbed this with men’s Irish Spring liquid soap and coated my skin in scented oil to cover it and IT.WILL.NOT.STOP. I can’t drown the back of my neck in Irish Spring so I coated it with scented oil and NOW MY FINGERTIPS SMELL LIKE THIS SHIT. My nose needs therapy and a shame shower. I am going to send this to my bestie and not warn her and see how long it takes her to speak to me again. Two hours later - After scrubbing a few times, and getting it down to a manageable skin scent, I have enthusiastically sprayed my wrists and the back of my neck with original Bonbon. Yes, I smell like I took a shower it in, but it’s ok, at least I’m at home today and like this one. I know a lot of people love this Couture version, so my assumption is something in my skin chemistry is elevating the dirty patch note which is then making everything else smell rank too. (This morning I was morose about how short-lived Poison Girl Unexpected lasts...I’d take her weak ginger tea over this any day.)

I'm not sure. Do I like it or not? This perfume is definitely a mixture of many styles. There are sweet candy notes, fruity citrus notes and there are feminine florals too. There's deep patchouli and sensual sandalwood. I can't find a dominant side. It's a blend of everything and the result is like the general scent in a perfume store. I asked my boyfriend about his thoughts without telling him my own. "It's too much of everything." Well, that's exactly what I thought! I wonder what it does on other peoples skin.

I have to say I am not a fan. The first thing I smell is an overwhelming caramel scent that is overbearing. To me, there isn't much complexity other than smelling like a glazed donut. If you like really sweet scents then this might be up your alley, but it's just way too sweet without many other elements to me.

I agree with @Breli0 that this fragrance has Flowerbomb’s DNA. The patchouli is over powering on me and almost sickly. I don’t get sweetness but an intense woody and floral scent, but one that feels like it’s stale. It’s a very pungent fragrance but for all the wrong reasons.

This is so nice and girly. I haven't tried the original so I can't provide a comparison, I can only comment on this scent alone. It's gorgeous, soft, and easy to wear. I get loadssss of caramel sweet at the core, but the sweetness is cut with the citrus of orange and the sharp peach. The peach, orange and caramel are prominent on my skin. You also smell the warm vanilla and sandalwood base where it gets its warmth. It's pleasant, girly, super feminine and attractive. Very creamy and silky on the nose. Nothing mind blowing or ground breaking, but not everything has to be. Sometimes a girl just wants to smell pretty. Not everything has to be about being different and making a statement. This is a soft scent I think most people would enjoy. It's well balanced. Not too sweet, not too citrusy, not too floraly. I think it would make a safe gift since it's such a universal scent, and especially since the bottle is a super cute bow. In terms of lasting power it does well on me. I spray it generously at 6am, and I still smell it in the evening. People definetly smell it as I walk by, so thats a plus. This isn't going to offend anyone or be headache inducing, so perfect for school or an office setting as well. All in all this is a pretty soft sweet girly scent that I really enjoy for day wear. One thing to add... my boyfriend is obsessed with this. He comments every time I wear it. Remember ladies. Men are attracted to sweet candy like scents. They LOVEEEE vanilla and caramel. This is feminine sweet at its best. Sweet without being cheap or kiddish. Very sophisticated and a great blend. This is a perfect girly perfume, ideal for day wear, casual date, or a Netflix-and-chill with your guy.

I was looking forward to trying La Capitale by Xerjoff but I was quite scared by its strawberry note since there have been many compositions with it that I have not been able to enjoy because they seemed too synthetic to me. When I read a friend's review mentioning that this perfume was very similar to La Capitale, and seeing that strawberry was not listed among his notes, I decided to buy it. I imagined that caramel would be the most predominant note but on my skin it is orange blossom instead. Of course you also smell caramel, along with vanilla, patchouli and sandalwood. The fruity opening escapes my sense of smell, it is perhaps very ephemeral or my sense of smell cannot perceive it. Unfortunately, this perfume on my skin or for my nose because I am anosmic to one or some of the notes of it, does not work. I feel it with a very soft sillage and for only about 4 hours. From what I read, it doesn't perform as well on my skin as it usually does on other people. Even though I let it steep for a long time after the first test, and even though the aroma is delicious, it was so poor on my skin that I couldn't justify its presence in my collection. I'll stick with Curious in Control by Britney Spears, which has a certain resemblance to it as it is a supposed clone of the Bonbon pillar fragrance. Looks like I'll have to find a way to try La Capitale... I wasn't a big fan of original BonBon (too sweet), though I do like the hair mist, but decided to test this Couture version. To me, Couture is much more complex. The jasmine and orange blossom opening is fresh, and the addition of the caramel and the patchouli really gives it depth and warmth. Couture is a "big" fragrance, though - sort of a modern day equivalent of Dior Poison (not that they are similar, aside from the strong sillage) - so I don't feel comfortable wearing it every day. But for going out in the fall/winter, this could be a viable go-to. Two to three sprays will easily get you through the entire night (and into the morning!) I don't think I will buy a full bottle, just because I prefer lighter scents, but will definitely be using my sample vials.

This stuff is amazing! i think it is more caramel indeed! and its less a syrup to me. I would not call it fresh at all, but still, it is fresher to me than the original BonBon. The staying power is fantastic as well. The older one made me very disappointed, but this one lasts for at least 10 hours on my skin (after 6 hours or so more a skin scent) but compared to other perfumes this is a record. My skins drinks up perfumes and for example Chanel nr.5 or Versace Crystal Noir dont last loner than 3, max 4 hours on my skin. Sillage is good too! my boyfriend gets whafts of it all day long :D <3 Its an expensive perfume, but I am a sucker for it, and I love the bottle too! I think this will be my new signature scent, yum yum <3

Love the subtle sweetness in BonBon...while I do agree it has hints of Sugar Pink, it's not as sweet to the smell. I can wear this perfume all day without giving off the feeling that I took a swan dive in Cotton Candy - (not to say I don't like smelling like a Carnival - I also love Sugar Pink for outdoor days). BonBon is suitable for office wear. The staying power is low, so don't count on it lasting all day. With that said, if you like to smell yourself and be proud of what your wearing for seductiveness (men love Vanilla) then this will definitely be an option! The price point is reasonable for what you get in my opinion
