Bonbon Pastel

I purchased this today after exploring a variety of sweet scents. While the DNA of the original Bonbon is still there, I'd say the sea notes are what really set this one apart from other fragrances. You get that slightly salty aroma in the dry down that adds to the flavor - much like when adding salt to a dessert recipe. It really adds more depth and character to the fragrance without taking away from the sweetness. Longevity is rather average though. It's not the worst and definitely not the best, but maybe that's what you're looking for. I find it easy to spray more and not feel overwhelmed by the scent, but I do find myself wanting more after an hour or so. Scents in my collection I might compare this to at first sniff would be Viva la Juicy Noir (for the fruity brightness of the opening) and Signora Misteriosa (for the more rounded out dry down). Give it a smell next time you're in store if you find the sea note interesting. I'd say the unique combination of the notes make this a nice fragrance for me.

BONBON scent without a doubt but I much prefer over original. This is cheeky compared to the sassy and hefty original - they should've called this BONSHINE. A casual rooftop party during summer's twilight hour 6pm - everyone is dressed in a different style from extreme casual to party sun dress most of them wearing a hat of similar vein, everyone dancing to Pon de Replay - someone is wearing BonBon Pastel and it is sweetly noticed.. Citrus light neroli and Caramel - sweet & fresh any attire any time.

I absolutely love this fragrance. It smells a bit spicy and fruity at first spray but soon dries down to a pretty fruity caramel. My husband loves it and he describes it as an expensive fresh clean soap. I get a ton of compliments anywhere I go. If you are hesitant, get a sample. Other scents I love are Givenchy Ange Ou Demon Elixir and bath and body’s Cherry Merlot. Just thought I’d include these so you get an example of my preference. If you like fruity clean scents, this is one to buy.

This is the fresh version of Bon Bon. It opens with citrus & white florals then I get sweet buttery caramel. It’s also a touch aquatic and as it dries down becomes a bit powdery. A great fragrance for the warmer months, it’s not cloying like the OG or Bon Bon Couture can be. I love both of those too but this one I prefer in the spring/summer months. Wish it wasn’t so hard to find because my bottle’s getting low.

This is my absolute favorite perfume. 😍 It’s the best Bonbon out of the line. It’s sweet but not a heavy syrupy sweet like the original. It’s a much more light fresh sweet with citrus notes. I always get compliments when i wear this. Only complaint is that I find it does not last that long on me, maybe 2-3 hours max 🥲 But I love this scent so much I will continue to repurchase.

This version of Bonbon smells pretty much like an orange hard candy with white florals in the background. It is sweet, but not as syrupy as the original, which I also love. This one is great for the gourmand lover who loves the smell of oranges and is looking for a summer perfume.

This is unique and beautiful. It's long lasting which is great cause the original Bon Bon lasting power sucks. This is like a bowl of Citrus fruits covered in sugar and whipped cream baking in the sun. It's a love for me. It's a definite dupe for signorina misteriosa

This is my favourite scent profile everrr ( Sweet, citrus, aquatic and a bit floral) please if you know of any other perfumes with the same scent profile let me know! (My other favourite along the same lines is Oriana by pdm)

When I spray this perfume, its a burst of salty sea air and citrus! Completely at odds with its adorable bottle, but fun in its own way~ It stays very simple on me, and I'm definitely not getting much of the sweeter notes! But it feels like a trip to one of those cute beach towns up and down the coast of California, and that makes me nostalgic! Its a little too marine for me; I usually go for more of a clean watery aquatic, but this has the grit of sea salt and citrus left on the skin from squeezing it into a summery drink~ While its not at all what I expected from the bottle, it has its own charm and I'll happily use it to transport myself to the beach when its warm again!

Very different to the original Bonbon. This scent opens with a burst of citrus and clean musky notes, but the drydown brings some salty caramel and sandalwood for a sexy touch while remaining fresh at the same time. A paradoxical scent, it wants to be gourmand but stays fresh. Amazing longevity >10 hours with moderate projection, on my skin. Full bottle worthy. Elegant. Love it. But I can see other people not liking the fresh marine notes on top of caramel. Try to sample it first. Ulta usually has this small pens with 10 ml of perfume for an affordable price.

Got this on sale, as I got a sample size a few years ago and really liked it. Everyone is saying this is a warm weather scent, I disagree. This is definitely a fall scent to me. Warm citrus caramel all the way through. It’s VERY pretty. Think Armani codes less spicy, lighter and brighter younger sister. Nice fragrance, however the longevity and sillage are LAUGHABLE. This doesn’t last more than 30 minutes to an hour on me. Which is a shame, because it’s so nice. Probably won’t repurchase, just due to that.

It’s delicious! A lot like Poison Girl EDT but a bit more summery meaning it’s lighter and less sweet than Poison Girl EDT. Citrus, vanilla, caramel. Doesn’t develop into anything- so linear. Doesn’t last long or project much. But I like it anyway! This is the best out of all the BonBons out there. Great designer fragrance. Not a fan of the bottle though. Heavy and bulky but I can deal with it I guess.

I was really excited to try this when I smelled this on paper. It smelled like an aromatic fruity caramel. On skin it started off sweet and citrusy with strong carame and amber. But after a few minutes I started smelling this bizarre medicinal note lingering in the background. I can’t pinpoint what would cause this, I’m assuming it’s something with the marine note. Ruined the experience for me and I unfortunately had to wash it off. Besides that weird smell it’s a really pleasant perfume, but I couldn’t get past whatever that cough syrup nonsense was.

Like others have said, this is an interesting fragrance and I'm not sure what to make of it. At first spritz, I smell the citrus with some sort of spicy note. After ~20 mins, I get the caramel and amber. I'm really not sure how I feel about it. I definitely like the dry down better than the first spritz. ETA: After wearing this for a few days, I have to say that it reminds me of cough syrup and I don't like it at all.

as a lover of the original bonbon, i wanted to try this one out. i didn’t end up liking this one as much- was expecting a sweet salted caramel because of the sea notes, it’s sort of there but just feels too light. smells almost too airy. the original bonbon feels more dense, rich and candylike. this feels very watered down, and doesn’t last very long on me. message me if you would like my bottle!! i am planning to sell it!

astridkh3, you could have wrote my review for me! I wanted so badly to like this. It smells so sweet and citrusy at first (my favorite scents are sweet-citruses), but then it just... turns. I recognize the combination of sea notes and musk and they do not smell good together at all. I'm glad I only purchased the 10mL sprayer. I plan on selling that too. This is a scent I can't get into.

Gosh, this is just a smell I don’t know and have never smelled before .. which is great! I love unique blends. For me, though, it’s not pleasant or pretty. I can’t place many of the notes, but I think I’m getting like a smoky, very burnt sugar with marine notes and some cardamom. I’m excited by the fact that is so unique, but it’s not for me ...

This just smelled like medicine and kids bubblegum toothpaste. Very gross!!! If you want a good smell try the other flanker bon bon couture!

I have every version of this perfume because I love it so much. When I saw that this was a new release at ulta I was so sure that I would love it that I bought a big bottle and had it shipped. It arrived this morning and I don't think I could be more disappointed. I have been trying to where this all day unsuccessfully. For one thing you can barely smell it because it's such a soft soft scent with no silage and must be sprayed every 30 minutes to even be able to tell you're wearing perfume at all. I just sprayed it so I can smell it right now but in 30 minutes it's gone. It does not have enough of the bonbon original character. I'm badd at describing notes but there is a lot to be desired and something definitely missing. I'm going to keep it as an option to where to the office or to some of event where I don't want my perfume to stand out at all. It is sweet like Bon Bon but it smells more like a Britney spirits release then anything. I feel like I just paid over a $100 for a Britney Spears perfume. Same type of smell and same silage ascelebrity perfume. I'm sorry to be so down on this but because of the fact that I have all the flankers and every one of them were exceptional I had high expectations for this 1. Definitely sample before purchasing bury it it could possibly hang on to someone else's skin differently than mine. I just sprayed it 5 minutes ago if that and I already can't smell it all myself.

Bonbon and Bonbon Couture are my absolute favourite fragrances at the moment and I own every single flanker. This one is absolutely delicious and probably the best flanker so far. It opens with an explosion that smells as though someone is melting caramel, peppermint, and lemon in a pot on the stove, and the DNA of Bonbon is definitely there. I do recommend giving this at least three or four tries because at first I wasn't that impressed. I bought a bottle anyway because I'm such a rabid V&R fan, and it has grown on me to the point where I absolutely LOVE this. Every time I wear it, I can't stop sniffing my wrists. It's flirty, fun, and unique. I like this bottle best of all the versions too. So happy to own this :-) PS: Tip: Spray this in the crook of your elbow and it will last for ages.

It's interesting how I love the flankers of Bonbon so much more than the OG which was very boring and forgettable to me. This is a simple and light scent, but oh so lovely. Fruity fresh and sparkly but salty and buttery at the same time. It's nothing remarkable and overpriced (I paid a small fortune to get this in my country), but it will put a smile on your face for sure. EDIT: This is quickly becoming one of my favourites. It's so scrumptious! I adore this scent profile with a combination of salty/sweet and fresh/savoury. The longevity is fantastic for an EdT (better than many EdP:s in my collection). It's not only for summer, I'd want to smell like this all year round.

An absolutely dreamy and unique fragrance that smells predominantly of caramel and orange blossom, threaded with a marine accord that differentiates it from the pillar. This addictive fragrance opens with a burst of citrus and marine notes. Crisp neroli and orange blossom peek through before it settles into a creamy sweet blend of caramel, amber and sandalwood. Longevity could be better, but maybe it’s because I want this scent around me to last forever. And ever. And ever. A STUNNER! 10/10

I like this one! I still like the original the best but out of the summer editions of BonBon. I like this one the best. That is saying something since I'm not a big citrus lover. It is lighter but still has the warmth of the regular BonBon. I just wish it had launched here earlier since it was supposed to be a summer scent and it is fall now. Happy to have it and have been wearing it a lot.

AROMATHERAPY VS GOURMAND?:🤔 This is a very interesting and peculiar scent! When it first hits my skin, all I can detect is citrus-herbal salt! After about twenty minutes or so, I get sweet orange, & a warm salted pretzels, drizzled with caramel! That savory flair lasts throughout the duration of the scent! And while the dry down is quite nice, I am still not very sure about this one!

This is lovely! It’s not cloying caramel, Im assuming the citrus and aquatic notes dry down the sweetness. It is incredibly balanced & I neeeeeeed this 🤍. I agree with Vanillashpice below, bonbon on the beach!!

Ugh so good. Sea salt caramel pretzel in the best way. Orange blossom in here is heavenly. Everything makes sense here. A gourmand with a calming quality I can’t describe, but I’m fixated on.

Disappointed in this one. Sounds like something I’d love because I love sweet scents and it smelled great on my coworker but it smelled straight up like powder on me. Try before you buy it!

LOVE this scent! It has the original Bon Bon DNA but is a more fresh and sweeter. I prefer this one over the original.

Sweet and yummy, while the marine note keeps things clean with an airiness to it. My favorite version of Bonbon.

I cant find this anywhere but I'm dying to try it for its unique note combo!
