Flowerbomb Pretty Peony

Impulse bought this while high on coffee. So I love the original flowerbomb, there’s an accord in the original that I’m addicted to, not sure what it is but some combination of tea, patchouli and vanilla. So anyway, this actually keeps to the original flowerbomb structure and manages to convey the overall feeling of flowerbomb utilising the beautiful sweet notes of strawberry, florals and vanilla. It has that hint of whatever that accord is I’m addicted to in the OG. But it also starts with a synthetic strawberry bubblegum which lingers throughout the composition and there’s also this powdery fruity aura in the air which is very pretty. Got a 100mL bottle for an absolute steal. I think OG lovers will recognise and enjoy this, while those aren’t fond of the OG may also appreciate this interpretation. I think this is fantastic and they’ve done a really good job with it. I love this, it’s an updated version of my old favourite that I can wear everyday. Oh my gosh, as it wears there is this pretty powdery peony. It’s honestly just heaven and my favourite fragrance I’ve encountered in a long time.

In love with this; very quickly one of my favorite fragrances of all time. I am a 22-year-old and I feel this is fragrance is perfect for a young woman like myself. Someone compared this to a strawberry seltzer, and I’d say that’s spot-on. This is a fizzy strawberry with a gentle floral touch of peonies and some creamy, sweet vanilla that blends everything together in a delicious way. Pure happiness and elegance in a bottle. This is going to be my go-to fragrance for all of spring and summer 2026—possibly even signature scent–worthy for me!

This is definitely a floral scent, so if you are looking for a strawberry bomb, this isn't it. Still, it is very pretty. The peony note really stands out on my skin, giving it a soft, delicate feel. Out of all the Flowerbomb creations, I find this one to be the most subtle. It is perfect for everyday wear, since it is not overpowering or invasive. I also think it would make a great layering perfume. My favorite will always be the Nectar, but this one has its own quiet charm 🌸.

I really like this one! Very smooth and soft feminine. It's exactly what you'd expect. Strawberry, Peony and caramel vanilla. I have never liked OG flowerbomb but really love all the more recent releases. Ruby Orchid became one of my signatures, I also really enjoy the extreme, I don't find Pretty Peony to be too close to Ruby Orchid at all. Always great longevity and decent projection with these. Keep it up V&R! I 💖

My favorite of the bunch! Really impressed with how they were able to keep the FB DNA intact while creating such a pretty pink scent. I think this one is pretty widely appealing since its such a dreamy strawberry adorned peony with a musky cloud. Very creamy much like the FB Extreme, but so much softer. The strawberry comes off much like how it does in Miutine to my nose.

Peony lovers rejoice! The perfume pyramid is 100% exact. Simply Strawberries, Peony, Vanilla and Musk. The Peony is so soft and lovely in this one, and the dry down adds just a touch of very clean Vanilla Musk. NO Jasmine. No Patchouli. Just heaven in a bottle. Worth every penny.

What a pretty, pretty parfume!! I’m currently in the airport, I had some annoyances earlier, but boy did a whiff of this just magically erased everything away...I feel like I’m floating in dreamland, on a cloud of fairy dust and flowers. Pure magic in a bottle :)

Easily the best Flowerbomb release in years. The strawberry is juicy and addictive, and it definitely has the beautiful sweet and alluring DNA. I would wear this day and night, it smells like a trip to the flower market with fresh strawberries.

of the three (3) strawberry leading scents i've tried (og burberry, miutine, and this one) pretty peony shot to the top first spritz. perfectly balanced, smells exactly like what is promised.

The opening is fruity and floral as I expected. The dry down does go into the richer patchouli of the original FB and is more mature than expected. It's nice. Not sure I'd repurchase.

This resembles the name. Fresh peonies with strawberry milkshake and crystallised vanilla rock sugar . This reminds me of a fairground , it’s so lovely and fun.

Do you remember what Strawberry Shortcake dolls smelled like? Yeah, that's what this is.

I have a huge soft spot for the Viktor&Rolf Flowerbomb line. I now own four of them, and I’m definitely not one of those people who thinks it’s cool to dislike them just because the line has been around for a while or because they keep releasing flankers. If a scent is good, it’s good. Flowerbomb Pretty Peony is exactly what the name suggests, it’s very pretty. It’s also a major departure from the heavier, DNA of the original. This is a bright, playful twist. On the initial spray, I get a really effervescent, fizzy opening. It actually reminds me of a strawberry infused seltzer or even a fruity cocktail with a tiny bit of a boozy kick. It’s fresh and juicy. As it develops, the peony blossoms into a crisp floral that has a bit of a sharp edge to my nose, but it adds to that overall fresh feeling. There is one very specific quality here that I noticed immediately, it has that "plastic doll head" smell. A sweet, slightly synthetic, barbie doll vibe you sometimes get when strawberry and vanilla musk are combined. That tone stays through a bit of the wear until it finally dries down into a creamy vanilla and skin musk with just a light fruity floral lingering. The performance is decent, about five to six hours on my skin with moderate projection. You won't be overwhelming a room, but others will pick up on it. It’s a great everyday scent because it feels so optimistic and easy to wear. If you’re a fan of the line and want something lighter, I think it’s a nice choice. Is it revolutionary? No. But V&R makes pretty, high quality perfumes that are just fun to have in a collection.

This smells to me like raspberry flavoured Creamola Foam, which is a fizzy effervescent drink powder which used to exist in the UK. It’s fizzy, fresh and zingy. Stronger than I expected, not closely related to the original Flowerbomb, very fresh for springtime. Smells like the taste of Love Hearts. Absolutely not my standard fragrance profile but I think people will love this. I own Mon Paris and it’s a similar happy energy perfume.

I sprayed it today among some other perfumes, then kept smelling it during the day, at some point I forgot about what perfume I had actually sprayed on the spot that I couldn't stop smelling and thinking it is really nice, sweet with a bit of freshness, quite projecting, then I remembered it was this one, nice blend of notes, fruits, peony and vanilla, all freshened up with some note to not to be too sweet.

Has a very similar DNA to the original flower bomb but much sweeter. I feel it is a beautiful spring fragrance that is juicy and bright. The longevity is moderate but not a breaker for me! The strawberry and peony notes are not over powering but definitely center stage. Overall very well balanced fragrance that isn't completely unique but one that does what it says.

From a guy’s POV, this is such a nice scent. It’s very simple, very sweet, but it’s done so well. You get that nice, sweet, almost sparkling strawberry with that nice Peony floral note. It’s linear, doesn’t change but this scent is so nice. I like it, non offensive, just nice and sweet.

Nice! Loooooooove the peony-forward scent body here. Dry-down was kind of TOO vanilla-y/gourmand for me and got kind of heady. Definitely my favorite flanker - at least until I try Ruby Orchid, which I have high hopes for.

“I feel pretty, oh so pretty I feel pretty and witty and bright” Is literally what I think about when I smell this perfume. Soft, sweet and pretty. I feel like this will be a nice perfume for a young woman in her 18-20’s.

Smells like a fresher version of the original. Not so sickly sweet and cloying. I like it much better!

Remember, it’s heading into summer for the rest of the world. It’s not always about America. 🙄

It smells like strawberry x peony candy floss (cotton candy) - it’s gorgeous.

This is one of the most ACCURATE perfumes to all of the notes given. You get everything in this. You get this big, ripe strawberry. That's pretty sweet and a touch juicy, especially in the beginning. The peony is feminine and soft, but constantly coming up behind the strawberries boldness. After ten minutes or so, the strawberry takes a bit of a back seat, so the peony can pull forward more. It gets a touch powdery (nothing crazy or super distinct) it just adds some softness. Kinda like putting a punch of your favorite dusting powder on a fresh peony. As this dries down further, that peony gets more and more photo realistic. The vanilla is constantly there, giving sweetness the entire way. Keeping this a fruity/floral fragrance. It never goes gourmand but it absolutely stays a sweet, fruity floral. The musk is VERY minimal. This is one of those fragrances, that I think would be an absolutely STELLAR choice for a person just getting into perfume, or even a younger woman/girl. It's not entirely mature, but not overly juvenile either. It's got some substance to it, but without being complex or complicated in anyway. Also, this is NOT a loud perfume in anyway. I think it would be tricky to over do it with this one. I honestly imagine this what Elle woods from legally blonde would smell like BEFORE she tried to get serious, and into Harvard law School. Lol. This is pretty, girly, carefree, and totally unserious. My only critique with this fragrance is the price. It's not worth the hefty price tag, not by a long shot.

To me, this is more similar to Flowerbomb Ruby Orchid than the original. There's definitely a hint of Flowerbomb in there, but on me this is more of a candy-dipped fruity floral with a hint of musk to ground it. Someone described Ruby Orchid as almost chocolate-like, and I would extend that metaphor to relate Pretty Peony to a strawberry-vanilla ice cream with flower petals nearby. I do like this and I think I will get plenty of use out of my travel spray, but I get almost no peony. I was so excited to see a mainstream perfume that's definitely going to be popular enough to stay on shelves for a couple of years with peony in the name, but this is a strawberry perfume. If you're someone who wants more strawberry out of Burberry Her or wants strawberry without the BR540 vibes, this could be for you. Strawberry works well in this composition, even in its candied, sweet form, since it clearly reads as berry without having the pissy overtones of currant or the overt tartness of raspberry. I think this could also be great for layering, since it is fairly simplistic (though of course since it is Flowerbomb it is strong and long-lasting.)

I like the beginning of this perfume a lot better than I like the mid and the dry down. In the beginning it kind of reminded me of Caswell and Massey's peony. A rich berry peony with a deep amber accent. But unfortunately as it starts to go along after about I'd say oh 10 minutes or so it becomes more of a dryer sheet fragrance. If you like the idea of a dryer sheet that smells like abstract peony and abstract something that's supposed to smell like strawberry you might like this. I find it okay but there isn't anything of real interest here It just smells like clean laundry. You could go down the laundry aisle at Walmart or Target and find a fabric softener that would smell like this. So many new fragrances are going in this direction. It must be what Gen z is craving. They all want a sweet scented dryer sheet.

This is just - ok. I wouldn't rate it great or bad. Just ok. It is the most perfumey and pretty of any of the flankers. It's really just Mon Paris by YSL but with a little more reminder of the Flowerbomb DNA. I have the Mon Paris line, and I enjoy it far more. This is just a patchouli floral. Not really what I expected. Not bad, but I have again so many things that are better and similar. This will be beautiful for some, but I would definitely suggest sniffing first. If you have nothing like this, it may be a winner.r its a good combo of the Flowerbomb DNA and a fresh floral offering, but this again is so redundant you likely will have something similar (and better) already.

Testing Flowerbomb Pretty Peony from a 1.5 ml Viktor&Rolf official sample. First impression... this is beyond synthetic and artificial! That strawberry has to be the most synthetic and sugary sweet, obnoxious to the point of being cloying that I have smelled in a while!! God, what a disaster of a flanker this is! I don’t think there’s raw materials in this, just cheap artificial, a sickening sweet strawberry and some vanilla. To me, this has to be the worst flanker ever created in the Flowerbomb line. And to think that I considered Flowerbomb Extreme was bad... this is 10 times worse! Cheap, overly sweet and plasticky stuff. No!!!

I was impressed on the longevity with this one. It lasted on my clothes for over 10 hours and projected till I got home and changed. To me, this was pretty linear. It really didn't evolve throughout its wear. Its a well blended fruity, vannilac, floral fragrance. I don't care for florals but this isn't bad. This is a mass appealing designer fragrances. Its office safe but maybe not if its over sprayed. I do feel like this would probably be cloying in hotter weather. Indoors was fine though. Overall not something I would grab for so not something I would buy.

This could've been really interesting but I feel like they dropped the ball on this one. There's a strawberry hard-candy vibe at the top and it slowly evolves into this fresh, powdery peony. It's okay the first hour but it kind of becomes a nondescript baby wipes scent by the end. The peony is the star throughout, but I feel like this could've benefited with more notes to give it more...character. Not for me, sadly.

It smells like Flowerbomb Extreme, Mugler Angel Nova and Lancôme Trésor Midnight Rose. Nova is fruitier, Midnight Rose is woody and Pretty Peony has more floral. Honestly, I feel that Flowerbomb Extreme and Pretty Peony smell much similar. Except Extreme has more projection and longevity compared to this one. This one turns into skin scent in just an hour. They're like sisters. It's pretty though, it's girly.

At first, after you spray it, you really get that nice strawberry note. After it dries down, the peony comes to life which is quite strong and in your face. It has a fresh vibe, but unfortunately that just makes it turn a bit sour on my skin. It's ok, not bad, but nothing amazing either. I can imagine people liking this, but it's not for me.

It's decent, but it doesn't particularly excite me enough to buy it. Ruby Orchid does the profile better, and Tiger Lily is more unique. Not a miss for the brand, but nothing I'd hurry to buy if it was discontinued.....which is why I now have 200ml of good fortune because V&R is getting right of my baby

I have both Flowerbomb and Flowerbomb extreme - This doesn't smell any different to those. I don't pick up any strawberry. It isn't unpleasant but if you have Flowerbomb or Flowerbomb extreme you do not need this. It's like a weaker version of Flowerbomb that doesn't last as long.

At first it was a bit spicy like flowerbomb nectar and had that signature flowerbomb smell, but that faded and it became very rose forward. If you don't like rose you won't like this.

A fruitier, lighter version of the original which is such an iconic DNA - I really don’t think this flanker did it any justice.

She smells pretty, but it only lasted about 2 hours on my skin. I can smell the strawberry but the peony not that much.

This would be a good scent for a candle, for a perfume it is not bad, yet it is a bit disappointing.

Sounds like a spring/summer perfume - why on earth launching now??!!

All I got from this was peony and rose. A bit powdery. No vanilla, no strawberry, no musk. If there was some patchouli in the mix, it’s in the very tiny hint of Flowerbomb DNA that I limitedly noticed. Very limited. This was far removed from any of the previous Flowerbomb flankers. Nothing close to Nectar, as one reviewer compared. Nectar is one of my favorites I like the OG on occasion, as well as Tiger Lily and Nectar. I’ve never been truly disappointed by any of the Flowerbomb flankers, so I blindly bought the travel size of Pretty Peony, but immediately returned it. Floral-forward perfumes are a precarious venture for me. Most rose-dominant fragrances are too sharp to my nose. The peony in this hit like that. It was an aldehyde-heavy, floral soap. Not my preference.

Similar to their extreme version but less powdery and more wearable. In the drydown I get raspberry and not strawberry.

It opened up very pretty, but the drydown was to sharp and strong for me. Not a pleasent drydown for me.

Artificial strawberries and cigs

The opening hits with a very distinct, almost "doll-head" artificial strawberry. It’s nostalgic and playful, rather than photorealistic. This quickly transitions into a soft, floral heart that feels bright and airy. What really caught my attention was the dry down: I pick up a persistent vanilla buttercream sweetness. I also suspect maybe a healthy dose of Iso E Super in the base; it gives the fragrance a velvety, sweet wood effect and provides that characteristic "hovering" radiance, even if the scent itself isn't heavy. Cautions: Because of that buttercream/strawberry sweetness, I could see this becoming quite cloying in high heat or if you’re heavy-handed with the sprayer. While I can appreciate the blend, it feels a bit too whimsical and "young" for my personal taste. It’s a very feminine, safe floral-fruity profile that doesn't offer the uniqueness or complexity I typically look for in a high-end designer fragrance.

This is quite lovely. It is somewhat reminiscent of doll heads mixed with fresh strawberry, leaves & all. It is a VERY close replica, like 90%, of that Strawberry Shortcake EDT from the early 2000s with the giant plastic strawberry as the cap. If you know, you KNOW. That was one of my favorite perfumes (& one of my first perfumes ever), but the lasting power was atrocious. I just sprayed this on me approx. 5 min ago, so I'll come back to update this review to assess longevity. Overall, I'm very pleased with this scent. It's beautiful, juicy, sweet (but not cloying), youthful (but not juvenile), & fresh. I love this! Def picking up a full bottle eventually. 9/10 Edit: it really only lasted approx. 4-5 hours before becoming completely undetectable, but given the type of scent it is, I am not surprised!

This is a beautiful, girly spring summer scent. Can tell it's a flanker of the flowerbomb range. In truth if you already own flowerbomb extreme then I wouldn't bother purchasing this. They are more like twins than sister fragrances. The only very minor difference is. This one is a little more fruity / juicy in the opening as opposed to extreme which is more floral. But honestly on the dry down they are identical twins . You really cannot go wrong with this one. Suitable for young girls and the women who like to feel super girly wearing pink in the summer ( if that's makes sense) Longevity is pretty good for a designer fragrance. On skin not so much , max 2 hours but on clothes I could still smell this the next day

Tried this out in Sephora today, wore it and Ruby Orchid for a few hours and have the same opinion of both, initial spray was beautiful and fruity, clear what it was supposed to be, but both got worse on me after some time. Both settle into very well blended fragrances, but they’re both a little suffocating even with just two sprays. Longevity seems great on the whole flowerbomb line, and nice projection too. I’m a huge fan of the original Flowerbomb and Nectar is one of my all time favorites, but the rest of the flankers are just icky and cloying to me after a while. They all smell fabulous on a tester strip tho

Well at least to my nose I don't smell any Strawberry!! I smell Peony, Rose and Patchouli-a soft one. It is a pretty Fragrance but if you are looking for a perfume where Strawberry hits hard, pass on this one. I would say this one is year round appropriate too. Everyone that was worried about going into Fall worry no more. It definitely has the original DNA in there. It is the original versions younger sister-late teens early twenties younger sister. Anyone can wear it but it is not a "mature" fragrance. It's easy breezy fun fragrance.
