Flowerbomb Ruby Orchid

Sweet, vanilla, powdery, floral, fruity, green, feminine, romantic, sensual, seductive, classy, elegant, chic, flirty, playful charming, whimsical, radiant, luminous, alluring On me this opens sweet and fruity with juicy peach and green vine. The Flowerbomb Dan is still there, but in a much softer way. The sweet peach stays intertwined while the delicate and powdery vanilla orchid comes. It grows slightly warmer once it’s dried down, but otherwise it remains this beautiful powdery vanilla with sweet peach swirled throughout. I usually prefer really sweet gourmand fragrances, but this is one of my favorites that are in the more floral categories. I do tend to like the Flowerbomb fragrances, and own a few others including the OG, Nectar, Tiger Lily, and Extreme. Ruby Orchid is my favorite followed by Extreme and Tiger Lily. This is probably the sweetest flanker, as well as the most gourmand leaning followed by the newer Extreme version. Even if you don’t like the other Flowerbomb scents, I still highly recommend trying this one because it’s got the softest Flowerbomb dna. I don’t see any patchouli listed in the notes, but there seems like there could be a hint of it in the base. I think it’s a pretty safe blind buy for those who like vanillas and/or fruity florals, as well as gourmand lovers. To me this feels effortlessly feminine, and like it could easily suit women of all ages. I tend to prefer this during the spring and summer, summer, and fall, but really it’s suitable for the entire year. This also works really well for basically all occasions from casual to fancy, and including work and/or school. I get great performance with Flowerbomb Ruby Orchid. The longevity is very good, it lasts 8+ hours on my skin. The projection is really good too, it radiates out at least a few feet from me. First off I want to say that I’m typically not drawn to florals a lot, but I really do love the Flowerbomb line (Flowerbomb, Ruby Orchid, Nectar, and Midnight)! Ruby Orchid is definitely a favorite! It has the same dna as the original, but it’s a sweeter and sexier version that’s also a bit warmer from the vanilla, and even has a juicy scent from the peach! There’s just this really beautiful harmony with these notes together! I always buy fragrances for me, not for what other people think of them, but compliments are still always really nice to get! A lot of times my friends will come to me for a fragrance if we’re going out. I had a travel spray of this with me (along with a few others because I like to have options lol!) one of those times and ALL of my friends chose Ruby Orchid! They loved it so much that 2 of them even ended up ordering their own! A sweet, flirty, and sexy take on the classic feminine floral Flowerbomb! I get great longevity and silage with it! I typically wear Ruby Orchid the most during the spring, but it’s a fragrance that I think can be used all throughout the year! It’s still Flowerbomb, but kind of a gorgeous gourmand version! I highly recommend it! For reference, some of my other favorite florals besides the Flowerbomb ones include: Coach Love (2012 version), Coach Poppy Blossom, Coach Poppy Wild Flower, Chloe Love Story, and Chloe. I don’t know if these are exactly considered strictly florals, but also Dolce & Gabbana The One and Sol de Janeiro 59.

Flowerbomb Ruby Orchid is the sweeter, brighter, juicier version of Flowerbomb OG that I initially didn't think I needed, but then later realized its true beauty and had to go get myself a full bottle. I first tried this in store and didn't think it was unique enough for me to get. However, after a few hours, I was back home and cleaning around the house, and I kept smelling this beautiful scent. Turns out, it was this! I was just thrown off bc there was such a big difference between where I sprayed on my skin vs where I sprayed on my dress. It smells good on my skin, but it smells FRIGGIN AMAZING on my clothes. On my clothes, the vine and orchid come thru more, and it's definitely brighter & lighter than the scent on my skin. I think the bright notes that I like so much are just very temperature-sensitive, and the heat from my body makes the scent turn deeper, thicker, and more syrup-y. Also, even tho there's no patchouli listed, I swear the heat also brings out patchouli. For me, I really enjoy the freshness of this on clothes, and this scent is best for me in the cold. Performance-wise, this is ok. It lasts about 3-4 hrs on skin and 5-6 hrs on clothes. I personally don't mind the mediocre performance bc it's been working for me in this summer heat, and I got it for a really good deal, so I don't mind spraying a bunch. However, I'm really looking forward to trying this in the fall/winter, so I wonder how the performance will be then.

Flowerbomb was a huge love of mine back in the days. I have not paid attention to any of it’s flankers to be honest, until recently, when a friend of mine said that Flowerbomb Ruby Orchid is one of her favourite scents. We went together to sample it because I said I didn’t know how it smells and I understood immediately that she’s not wrong about it! For me, this flanker of Flowerbomb is a very linear scent, simple, casual and youthful, but has something intriguing about it. While it is another vanilla fragrance, it has a prominent fruity side and a very strong green leafy accent that makes it unique. I am not going to pretend that Flowerbomb Ruby Orchid is a groundbreaking scent cause it ain’t but I the more I use it, the more I feel in love. And that beautiful, vibrant pink bottle does look really eye catching! All in all, it’s a sweeter Flowerbomb but without the patchouli and the plethora of flowers that the OG Flowerbomb had and with added peach and vine leaf. Lasts quite well, 6-8 hours, with moderate projection. I think it is perfectly suited for spring season, that vine leaf makes me think of the moment when nature comes back to life after a long, dreadful winter.. If you can get it on a substantial sale, like I did, this is a little gem of fragrance. It’s a different type of vanilla scent. For the full retail price, I wouldn’t recommend picking it up, it’s quite expensive!

TLDR; It's well behaved and inoffensive, but allows sweet perfume lovers a way to express something many see as unprofessional in a professional setting. This a nice sweet perfume for the days when you want something a little more playful or youthful, but you don't want something too excessively sweet. It's very much about the natural sweetness of a peach over something a bit more in your face. This is also the rare sweet perfume that's extremely office safe. I think this is the ideal perfume for someone in their early 20s (i'm 27 so not quite me!) that wants to leave behind some of the sweet celebrity scents they doused themselves in during their teens, but still wants to remain in that space. In many ways, this reminds me of a Tocca perfume rather than flowerbomb. It has the light, airy feeling their prefumes have. That said, this keeps the signature "sweet yet floral" Flowerbomb DNA I can't get enough of. This is well blended perfume and it shows. It's a little expensive for the lack of longevity, so I can't say I absolutely love it. In my opinion, Tiger Lily remains the superior flanker but this is a lovely perfume if you enjoy the Flowerbomb's DNA like me it's a great purchase on sale.

I love this. Less of a flower bomb and more of a floral fruit bomb without the dreaded patchouli that ruins most of the FB line for me. This is one of most versatile scents in my sizable collection. It's bright and fruity enough for summer, floral enough for spring, thick enough for cool fall, and red enough for the Christmas season. I don't think I have another perfume that truly suits any season equally well. I find the profile to be relatively ageless as well. Sweet but not gourmand, jammy but not juvenile, this is a syrupy red gem that any woman from 20 to 120 can wear with confidence. Sillage is moderate in normal amounts; it will throw far and hard on the overspray. Longevity is at least 8 hours on skin, much longer on clothes, and even after 8 hours there are still traces on the wrist just for you to enjoy. The price is reasonable imho, comfortably situated between $50 celeb and $500 niche. This has been an absolute delight that I almost didn't even try because I was so put off by the other patchouli bombs in the line. I used my double birthday points at Ulta to buy a giant 5+ oz bottle. Finding this unexpected beauty was the best birthday surprise of my adult life. 🥳 🎉 🎂

Bought this one for my mom as a birthday gift. Was a blind buy based on reviews. My mom wanted something with orchid note. She loved this one. I really like it too. It projects incredibly well, I felt it on her for like 3-4 hours from 1-2 meters away and she sprayed only 2 times on the neck, it creates quite a big scent bubble and it stays surprisingly long time. I sprayed it on my hand once and the smell stayed for more than 24 hours, it's incredible actually. Even after washing my hand multiple times and having a shower, I could still pick it up. The smell itself is very calming to me, this type of smell is for a sweet and kind woman, which fits my mom's personality perfectly. I'm not sure if smells like orchid though, to me it smells like a mix of different flowers (like smelling a bucket of flowers) plus heavy vanilla, and in the opening I do pick up some green note, so I'm guessing it's the vine note. Overall, I think it's a very safe blind buy. The performance is beastly and the smell itself is very inoffensive and calming.

Absolutely blown away by Ruby Orchid! I’ve been looking for a powerful sweet, fruity, feminine, and sophisticated perfume and baby, I found it! First off, peach notes in other perfumes I’ve tested before have been a hit or miss for me, because I’ve found that particular note to come off almost stale and unrealistic. However, the peach note in this smells like a perfectly fresh-picked one straight off a tree. All the notes blend perfectly together and all last on my skin for over 6 hours! Yes, the original Flowerbomb DNA is there, but this to me is the best version. Somehow, Ruby Orchid keeps that same well-rounded DNA the OG has, but without the heavy Patchouli. Another review below said they are reminded of sweet Hawaiian Punch; I completely agree, and would say that Ruby Orchid reminds me of a more mature version of Escada’s tropical Pacific Paradise EDT. Hands down, this is an absolute win!

Finally, a Flowerbomb I can wear that isn't discontinued! (RIP La Vie En Rose flankers) I love sweet scents, and the original Flowerbomb is aptly named - an extremely cloying bouquet that made me nauseous. Ruby Orchid, however, is a restrained gem. I don't really detect peach, but I do get a massive blast of fleshy orchid petals melded with an incredibly realistic vanilla that slowly settles into a powdery cloud of happiness. I can understand why this wouldn't suit everyones tastes, but to me it's damn near perfect! EDIT: I'm not sure if anyone else has the same experience, but this perfume acts very strangely on me. The initial blast is medium strength, it slowly settles but when it becomes a skin scent, there are moments of noticeability. Almost like it flutters between the middle and final stages. Quite odd, but I love it!

a sweeter take on Flowerbomb without the patchouli! 🌺 i couldn't get the hype with Flowerbomb back then because the scent was just so offensive to me the first time i tried it in a mall. then i saw a sampler of Ruby Orchid, i thought i'd like to give it a try - it has the same DNA but it's sweeter and the longer i used it, the more i fell in love. i later appreciated Flowerbomb too but this flanker is more fragrant and fitting to my preferences. i mainly smell the orchid and vanilla, not much the peach. there's also no patchouli on this one! ➤ lasts 6-8 hours ➤ strong projection, average scent trail ➤ 7/10 - elegant ruby bottle design but a bit tacky ‘bomb’ concept this is for nights when i want to smell sophisticated and expensive! ✨

Super sweet jammy flanker. The most jammy of all the Flowerbombs. Vanilla shines in this sweet syrupy decadence. Like making the og into a simple syrup without the patchouli. I love the OG, and patchouli, but this is just such a seductive and sweet romance I don't care that the patchouli is gone. I'm sure it will appeal to those that like flowerbomb but are turned off by the patchouli in it. If sweet isn't your thing, than you can pass this up. I have found it has much better lasting power than I expected and from the reviews below. It's a really beautiful flanker that keeps true to the line while providing the richest, fruitiest, vanilla in the line.

A sample of this arrived today and I absolutely love it!! I already own the OG which is one of my all time favourites but this is just as beautiful. It's definitely a softer fragrance compared to the OG but you can still notice a similar DNA. It doesn't have the same powerful sillage and longevity as the OG but in saying that it's not a weak fragrance by any means. It's suitable for all ages and for any season. It's a delicious fruity floral scent with a sweet note that is not overpowering. On the dry down I also pick up a lovely soft almond note. It smells like an expensive high quality perfume and I will definitely be ordering a full bottle.

Lowkey be feeling like a Pierro Piccioni score when I wear this. Ruby Orchid is the kind of inviting fragrance that needs no layering unless you wish to enhance a particular note. I always seem to pack this one when I travel. The sweet gourmand vanilla and peach notes with an undertone of fresh orchids is too perfect honestly. This one is best as a spring and summer scent, so I can see my bottle lasting for many years to come. With a little oil, my collarbones, wrists, ankles, and neck carried it for at least 12 hours post dry down. It layered incredibly well with the rose perfume I bought at the New Orleans Boutique Du Vampyre.

Sweet, soft, addictive, youthful, relaxing, delicious. I have, or had, several versions of Flowerbomb - the original, FB extreme, midnight, dew, nectar. This is the one I wear the most. I love all of them, but this to me is the most wearable, pleasant and suitable almost everywhere. I work in an environment with "scent awareness" , and nobody every complained about it, even though I spray plenty. Oh, and the bottle is just awesome. Highly recommended, not an innovative scent, but totally worth it to me, since I wear it so much, much more than other fancy, unique, stunning, unusual niche scents.

I’m loving this perfume! It is a nice, all-purpose light and yummy scent. The notes seem to work very well with my body chemistry, it sits a little more comfortably than the OG flowerbomb. You can give it a few sprays without it being overwhelming. I think the green note is a nice touch that adds a more complexity. I wear it to bed and it still smells very warm and sweet and fresh in the morning on myself and the bedding, in fact I smelled more of the orchid at this point. My husband really likes it on me as well!

This scent is warm and vanilla heavy, darker than I expected. Powdery and sweet. It has the same dna with the og flowerbomb, but this is easier to wear, softer. Dry down is more pleasant because there is no screetchy patchouli, its more warm vanilla. Suitable all year around. Edit. The more i have worn this fragrance, the more i love it! This is the best flowerbomb, imo! Its soft scent, so i slightly overspray it so it does last many hours and i can smell it on me. And it develops nicely on my skin.

Its sweet but not excessively heavy. Sweet peach scent which is lightened with the herbal vine note. Vanilla bean on the dry down is delicious. A perfect balanced fragrance with not too many notes. When I wear this perfume I always get compliments, people can smell me from miles away and I leave a trail everywhere I go. You might be devoured by everyone, if this is what you want, for an informed only. I used to buy the 10ml bottles but I recently treated myself with a 150ml bottle!!

I love this! When I’m wearing this I can get small whiffs of it through the day and ill be like, “whats that smell? smells so good“ but then i figure out its this perfume on myself xD I also love the bottle and the color of it. I am a big fan of Viktor&Rolf, I have this, BonBon and Flowerbomb Dew. You can definitely tell its the same dna as Flowerbomb, and even though i love how BonBon smells, it has no lasting power compared to this. This stays on a long time :)

I love this one. Syrupy sweet with a beautiful warm vanilla base. It smells edible, and opens up bright and melts down to a gooey sugary boiled sweet melted base,I also detect a subtle nutmeg spice that you might get in a pudding, like egg custard or panda cotta. It’s not lasting massively long but I’m hoping with time it will intensify and vanilla scents usually do. I own the new Tiger Lily and my bottle has got stronger since I bought i. I really love that one.

Best Flowerbomb then midnight. This is juicy and scrumptious in cold weather 26 degrees F and midnight is at her best in warm end of summer weather. Don’t fancy any other Flowerbomb not the Og or the other flankers. Only these two. And when worn in the right weather this does smell like a luscious ruby fragrance, it’s so sexy and the powder part isn’t as extreme in this weather it’s just a supporting role making the other notes stand out
