Flowerbomb

I’m sorry but this is iconic. I think it’s a masterpiece. This was my first real perfume and this unique composition in the luxurious little grenade bottle is probably still my favourite. I’ve been enjoying Pretty Peony these last few days and reliving my love of this scent that was my signature at age 19. If you refer to the reviews below, you might notice that no one can really agree on what kind of scent this is. If you asked me to pin down exactly what I’m smelling I couldn’t really tell you either. It’s not what I would describe as floral in the traditional sense at all. It pulls aspects from tea, bergamot, osmanthus, pink and white florals and patchouli vanilla and musk without obviously being any one of those notes but having aspects of each which provide a sweet, fresh, deep, powdery, warm and musky sensual concoction with a unique accord that is quite frankly orgasmic to my olfactory senses. I personally kind of see the comparison to LVEB but not really (I’m not a fan). It kind of reminds me of the original JPG Le Classique EDP (the discontinued lace bottle version). Flowerbomb has not been reformulated, it can also be potent and will give anyone near you a headache if you spray this more than 3 times. It’s longevity is excellent and it has a beautiful and addictive drydown over many hours. I can see this would be love or hate, I personally love.

Unpopular opinion: this smells just as beautiful in the spring/summer as it does in the fall/winter - unlike LVEB this works during all seasons of the year without smelling off and both as a day and a night-time perfume (at least, on my skin when applied with a very LIGHT hand). I don't know if this has been reformulated or not, but the Flowerbomb I know is a very feminine, pretty fragrance that makes me think of love and joy and all the good simple things in the world. If that makes it "generic" or "boring" or "vanilla" to some, then I'm sorry/not sorry to say that's all I want in my life - it may be a very "safe" fragrance but not all of us are thrill-seekers or sex kittens. I find it innocent and youthful, I don't think it's sexy - at least not Tom Ford or Mugler sexy. This is sweet and cuddly - it's like vanilla ice cream, it may not be everyone's favorite but virtually anyone can have some of it - it's universally appreciated. Vanilla is my favorite ice cream flavor, so maybe this is the perfect fragrance for girls like me. I LOVE it.

I wrote this review a while ago, and it seems I forgot to post it. I've had more time with Flowerbomb now because I bought a giant bottle. I still love it! I think Sugarbomb would be a more fitting name than Flowerbomb, and I absolutely love it! This has a wonderful balance of warmth and sweetness. I get a lot more candy-like vanilla than I do the patchouli people mention. It's also much more gourmand than floral in my opinion. Initially I wasn't even interested in trying this one for a few reasons. One being the name. I assumed it was going to be 100% floral. It's not at all! Also, because it has been SO popular for over 20 years now. I didn't want to come across as basic... Now I know Flowerbomb was popular for very good reason, wow! I was afraid of the patchouli note. Turns out I barely notice it. All it does is add a natural balance. This perfume is well blended, smooth, and delicious! 🍬🍦💐

I used to be the biggest hater of this perfume, it smelled so boring yet sharp on paper and then one day I got some on my hand when opening a shitty 1 ml sample and oh my lordddd. Somehow, on my skin, it smells like the most divine pure tea scent, it gets the lightness of the florals but the musk and tea are what make up 90% of the actual substance of the fragrance, so surprisingly I feel like it would be a safe buy even for someone who claims they "don't like florals" despite the name. The strongest floral I can identify would probably be the osmanthus and orange blossom, but even then they contribute more to the aura of lightly fruity tea than they do to a classical white floral. If you think you don't like this perfume because you've smelled it on paper and hated it, maaaaybe give it a chance on skin. It completely changed everything for me.

This is my first review so stick with me here! I’ve only dabbed this perfume on since it’s a mini and has no sprayer but I hope to try spraying it one day. Flower bomb does start out very citrusy which I only get right as I apply it and then turns very sweet and floral. I can definitely see this causing headaches in some people if they are already sensitive to scents, but I really think this is a very safe scent to blind buy/gift. It’s a very basic feminine smell not that that’s bad because I really do love it I just think it’s a safe choice perhaps for someone you don’t knows scent preference. I like wearing this to my four hour job and I’ll get random whiffs of it which is very nice, I’ve never gotten a comment about it in the two years I’ve been wearing it so even intense as it can be it sits rather close to your skin

This has been among my favorite fragrances for daily use. Feminine yet never overpowering, it gives you a boost of confidence and lets you fully embrace your energy. Flowerbomb is an explosion of florals on ambery base. While some may identify the base note as purely patchouli, on my skin it leans toward a tulle of tobacco-like richness, giving the fragrance a slightly dark, rich edge. The composition is beautifully layered: a sparkling top note that delights, a rich floral heart and a deep base. The base notes deepens the scent, and prevents it from feeling overly linear. While it’s not the longest-lasting fragrance on my skin, Flowerbomb is a fragrance that signals your presence subtly without screaming for attention. It's perfect for daily wear from office meetings to lunch outings.

Testing this as a decant splash. Since I’m using a splash rather than a spray, I don’t get much of the bright top-note florals. Instead, it opens with gentle, powdery blooms and a hint of soft musk. Beneath it all, an earthy patchouli grounds the sweetness and gives the fragrance quiet depth. As it settles, it melts into a delicate vanilla that feels like the glow of golden hour — feminine, romantic, and softly sensual. It’s graceful without being too sweet, balanced and tender in a way that feels timeless. I don’t typically enjoy florals, so I was pleasantly surprised by how wearable and comforting this one feels. The bottle is absolutely stunning, and I can’t wait to add it to my collection, it’ll look beautiful on display with the rest of my perfumes.

I bought the 0.68oz yeaaaaars ago, put it away, and forgot about it. It just didn't seem that interesting to me. About a month ago, as I was going through my collection, I pulled it out, sprayed it and something clicked! That evening, after my shower, I oversprayed this beauty. I used it up every night and poof, it was gone in a few days. I ordered the 3.4oz immediately! It is a perfect balance of fruity, somewhat candied florals and patchouli. I dont detect much of the musk until deep in the drydown. The patchoili is not dirty or super earthy-it just adds depth. This fragrance starts out pretty loud and dries down to a calming tea and soft powdery skin scent. Longevity is not the best considering the loud start. Definitely back-up worthy for me.

Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb: A Floral Vanilla Dream (with a Chanel Twist!) Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb is a beautiful fragrance that absolutely, unequivocally has a prominent vanilla dry down. Beyond that, I pick up a lot of lovely florals, making for a very nice scent overall. Its sillage is quite good, and I find it transitions effortlessly from a daytime to a nighttime fragrance because it carries a bit of weight. Despite its richness, I believe it's still suitable for the office, provided you use a light hand—moderation is key! Interestingly, I've found it pairs exceptionally well with Coco Mademoiselle by Chanel; I layered it and received so many compliments. This one's a winner!

oh, flowerbomb, my beloved... my mom had a bottle on her vanity table for ages when i was a kid. it was one of her favorite "going out" fragrances, so whenever i smell it i'm immediately blasted directly back to being a little girl sitting on her laundry basket watching her put her face on before a dinner party or date night. the best way i can describe how flowerbomb smells is this: there's a very famous french rococo painting by jean-honore fragonard that depicts a woman in a pink dress on a swing in a garden. search up "rococo painting" on google images and it's the first result you'll see. whenever i look at that painting i imagine the lady smelling like flowerbomb.

I had been searching for this perfume for a very long time. Years ago, I smelled it on a lady, and from that day on it became one of my favorite fragrances. For a long time, I couldn’t decide whether to buy it or not, because even though I really liked the scent, comments saying it smelled like a grandmother discouraged me. But eventually, I bought it. I’m now on my 7th bottle, and the perfumes that have received the most compliments so far have been Flowerbomb OG and Nectar. It’s very feminine and elegant. The fragrance becomes even more beautiful as it settles, and its projection and longevity are also quite impressive. 💕

To my nose this is a powdery vanilla, however my nose hasn’t been right since I had Covid. I struggle to understand the name Flowerbomb because to me it’s sweet. I totally expected something different. I truly enjoy it and it’s an easy reach. It’s a toned down version of Mon guerlain intense. I think this will shine in the cold weather. Something about patchouli and musk together give perfumes a sparkling powdery vibe to me that I do enjoy. Overall I will likely always have a bottle of this in my collection, especially when you can find it very affordably on discounters now. I would NOT pay full price though.

I usually dislike floral perfumes but this is simply perfection. It is pure elegance, sophistication and it smells so subtlety expensive. This perfume truly makes me feel chic and beautiful whenever I wear it, but there is also power in this scent, because whenever I smell this on myself or others, I smell confidence. I think almost anyone could wear this scent. Will it be my coffin scent? No, because it’s just too popular and I don’t want my family smelling this fragrance at my open casket and then being triggered when their friends are wearing it too.

I've always had this perfume. In small sample sizes, roll ons, and testers since 7th grade. It has a young, girly, fresh floral scent but also a slightly deep, flirty, sensual smell. I do not gravitate to any purely floral scents, but this one is a game changer. Flowerbomb would not attract me if I had not smelled it in person. I wear this often and I've recieved compliments from both men and women, It's definitely a crowd pleaser. I remember hearing Taylor Swift wore this as her signature scent in the 2010s, and that makes perfect sense.

Not a very floral fragrance, but it is something I adore. This is something the mean girl from the 2000's would wear, but in an ironic way. The scent jumps at you in a way that is just so interesting. The longevity is incredible, and value is not terrible compared to other designer fragrances, while also being so complex. This fragrance is very feminine and versatile, I can imagine wearing this in the summer, just with some extra Vaseline so it isn't too strong and cloying. Possibly one of my favorite fragrances I tried so far!

If you drizzled a bit too much caramel on top of a bouquet and took a sniff that’s what ur gonna get Yeah it does smell so sweet but elegantly and in a floral way I like it so mucchh but the similarities it shares with the sticky teens LVEB LANCOME gives me mixed emotions This is A hundred times better tho Way Less sticky sugar more caramel like much much more floral and balanced ugh i hate LVEB There is a green tea opening to it that is just on spot like a cherry on top i wish if the tea was a bit stronger

I immediately caught the osmanthus on the first spray. Even though I'm typically not a fan of vanilla perfumes, I absolutely love this one despite its vanilla notes. I honestly couldn't smell the vanilla at all. It's a sweet floral with real warmth to it, plus there's this lovely hint of calming tea that rounds everything out. The patchouli in the dry down is present but not overpowering, which I appreciate. I'm completely in love with it. It could be my signature perfume if it weren't for the price.

Am I being grandiose if I say this is symphonic? Each note is cooperating with the rest, and nothing feels out of place here. Patchouli is far from my favorite smell. In fact, I used to avoid buying any fragrance if I saw patchouli in the notes. This perfume single-handedly changed my mind. Overall, it's a general people-pleaser while still being complex and interesting and alluring. Sweet, but not too sweet. Feminine, but not juvenile. There's a reason Flowerbomb has been popular for so long.

I love this one. It reminds me SO much of Mon Guerlain (EDP 2017) and La Nuit Tresor by Lancome, except Flowerbomb is more subtle and sweeter (but not sickly gourmand sweet) Musky/peppery/powdery were my first impressions, but it still manages to be fresh and light. It's not cloying. The flower notes lift up the base notes and creates a good amount of space and balance I really can't fault it. It's not your typical generic floral fragrance, this one has edge. YSL/rock chick vibes

I'm OBSESSED. It's so rare for me to have a love at first sniff reaction but I literally gasped when I first smelt this. In LOVE. I smelt it into the store and instantly brought the 100ml version, worth every penny. It's not just a plain floral it has such an apparent depth to it the first time I sprayed the bottle I brought when I got home my mum goes who smells so nice. It's literally addictive I'm having a Jeremy fragrance reaction literally bottle up my nose type smell.

I don't like it as much as when I first sprayed it, unfortunately. I still really like it, just don't think it works too well for me. The stuff that is left on my skin after the day is a sweet berry sort of scent that I get in a lot of fruity perfumes, especially celebrity fruity perfumes (like a lot of these fruity fragrances have that same specific note and that note just tends to stick to me a lot for some reason I also get that a lot with vanilla strangely).

I adore this. It’s an easy everyday reach for me. The Drydown is divine. I do not get a lot of patchouli at all but I do get the same vibe from this as I do LvEb but I like this way more. I expected this to be similar to Ralph Lauren romance which I hate so I never even thought to give this a chance until recently. This is a creamy gourmand floral and it’s a winner for me. Longevity is impressive too.

To me it smells very floral but in a smoky almost incense way if that makes sense. It's sweet, spicy, has a freshness to it but it's warm and cozy at the same time. Absolutely stunning I think. I've got a new bottle again recently and I wonder if it's now slightly less strong than older bottles since it seems to fade away quicker which is a shame. Still, lives up to it's name, flowerbomb. Lovely.

To me flowerbomb feels like a stronger miss dior (2021) with the addition of patchouli. It's a floral that is strong enough for the colder months and nights out and still inoffensive enough somewhat for the hotter months. I was surprised to discover it has patchouli (i hated patchouli at the time I first tried this) but floeerbomb showed me just how good patchouli is when done right.

I bought this to see what the hype was about fully expecting to hate it as i don't naturally like heavy flower scents in perfumes but I was really pleasantly surprised at how much I love this. Its not powedery like I expected but really light and fresh and floats around you in a way that's not at all overpowering. I felt really feminine and pretty wearing this. 8.5/10

Um i think im not even getting patchouli... neither the opening nor the dry down Only sugary sweeeeet rose and flowers not even musky And i’m in love ! Again i experience mixed emotions sometimes when i wear this cus it reminds me a bit of the mf gross LA VIE EST BELLE LANCÔME But this one hahahah WAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY better MUUUUUUUUUUCCCHHHHHHHH better

less patchy than lveb. reminds me of love don't be shy. I really like it. Update: I love it! Sugary vanilla and orchid. I really don't smell patchouli except for a brief moment in the top notes, but it fades so quickly. Maybe I'm anosmic to patch. 🤷 overall, Flowerbomb is a fun & girly option for days you require a reminder of all that is carefree and sweet.

My skin LOVES this perfume! This sits on me like Estée Lauder Modern Muse Nuit, but for daytime wear. My skin clings to the jasmine, and little of the rose, the vanilla, and the musk, but it made airy and light with the tea. It smells sweet, spicy and floral all at the same time and is everything I've been searching for in a daytime perfume.

This scent is amazing and an absolute classic. It combines all the elements of fragrance that I love: spicy, musky, floral, and sweet. The creamy jasmine and vanilla combined with the musky patchouli and rounded off with a fresh bergamot tea...it is literal heaven. Demure and dark. The ONLY complaint I have is that I wish it lasted longer.

I used think I disliked it, but when I actually put it on my skin, I ended up really liking it. It is an intoxicating smell that I love to wear in fall (coldest part) and winter. The patchouli makes it a bit dense for warmer times of the year. I will say I prefer the dossier dupe to the original because it has less patchouli.

This was a gift (left to my own devices, I only buy $16 middle eastern perfume) and a very lovely one. It's richly floral, gently sweet, probably universally perceived as nice. On me, the actual scent fades within an hour or so, but it does leave a faint aura of nondescript-but-enjoyable Expensive Perfume

Guys don't worry, this hasn't been reformulated as far as l can tell. No vanilla added. I think they initially forgot to show the sweet ethyl maltol note and felt the need to explain it's mostly sweet. So now they just show a vanilla note on the pyramid but it's not vanilla and it's the exact same smell

This has become a classic. It was a hot new release in the early 2000s and blew up in popularity and now some associate it with a less than relatable past to their current day identity. But I still think it’s beautiful! The patchouli is done so nicely here. It’s a sweet, feminine and sexy! I love it!

I love this! Don’t let the name fool you! I am not a floral lover but this perfume is blended so well. A very sexy scent for any occasion but I like it for spring and summer because it’s powerful. It has the floral notes but also you get the other notes in there as well. It’s a wonderful fragrance.

A lovely warm scent that’s not overly floral. I tend to lean more towards masculine/spicy scents but this is the perfect feminine fragrance for me and it’s not overpowering. I love this one and its vanilla sister, Flowerbomb extreme. Great longevity and I always get complemented when wearing.

Warm and spicy, but also somehow smells perfectly like frozen yogurt/the inside of a Menchies? I used to hate this line because of the licorice smell, but as I let my bottle sit it faded away and is just a lovely fruity floral scent.

A big lush bouquet with a heart of roses, freesias and orchids framed by decadent tea leaves. An explosion of flowers leave their mark on anyone who crosses your path. This fragrance definitely lives up to the name, flowerbomb. 8/10

Sugared flower petals, vanilla and a hint of patchouli. A classic. Something simple to wear everyday if you want to smell pretty and sweet. I always receive compliments when I wear flower bomb. The Ruby Orchid one is nice also!

I tried this for the first time a few days ago and perhaps it's just me but it reminded me of LVEB. I will try it again and test is out but so far I am very impressed. Initial reaction is a beautiful and feminine fragrance.

an all time favourite, lovely explosion of florals. my favourite of western perfumes. elegant and feminine. very pink. sophisticated and has a twist to it. worth the money. longevity is good. a unique pink floral.

And by the way, this perfume didn't smell "basic" until everyone else emulated or downright copied it. And it also doesn't and never has smelled like lveb. Hopefully it never will. Not that l don't like lveb.

One of the best! I’ve always returned to it over the years. Luxurious and elegant, Sophisticated and classy. It’s so much richer after it stands for a few years. Please don’t ever change its original formula!

Floral sweet patchouli perfection. Classic for a reason. Starts off strong but becomes softer throughout the wear time (which is pretty good on me - I’m surprised by the poor longevity comments).

This doesn't smell fruity. The only fruit is bergamot, which combined w tea makes early grey. It smells sweet and spicy because of the orchid type and the aldehyde that adds a sugary smell.

Only slightly sweet on my skin, mostly just beautiful patchouli and an underlying spice that makes the scent feel unique and bold Likely in my top 3 smelled florals as a nonfloral fan

Weird patchouli ? not so earthy not so noticeable I don’t get the blast of the patchouli in the opening as i do with any other patchouli scent but its really there Hmmm interesting

A beautiful soft powerful fragrance. I love how it smells on my lady! Can't go wrong but if u are thinking this is a literal flower bomb..... no it is not that floral!

my dad got me a set with a few of these as well as the lotions! love them so much. very floral (hence the name). this perfume lasts, big-time. you don't need much.
