Invisible Oud

Rich balsamic oud, incredibly rich and delectable with a strong vanilla. Yes there is a sharp edge upon spraying, likely the white musk and pink pepper keeping this composition sparkly, before a vanilla amber resides after. For these reasons I'm fairly certain those who dislike strong oud scents might find this to be a crowd-pleasing and safe introduction. Still sexy and ravishing oud, but no campfire. I love! Tested this from a sample set of the Magic line I purchased at Nordstrom Rack.

Smoky, warm, oudy, sweet [bitter-sweet, as a balm can be]. Like smth very pleasant (incense?) is slowly burning. Being a woman I don't dare to wear it outside in order not to overwhelm [sensitive] people: oud is oud, but I do love to wear it at home, sounds amazing at night. Kind of spiritual/seductive fragrance.

❤️ WOW ❤️ An interesting fragrance. It is the perfume of the Arabian Nights tale. It reminds me a bit of "Bois d'Argent" by Dior and has a Lutens tune. A smell of magic carpet and stardust... Sensational. 9/10

Decent starter oud. Not at all animalic or "barnyard." Warm, ambery vanilla makes this one cozier, and incense-like. This is unisex, maybe even slightly masculine. Pleasant. Will try layering with other scents, or maybe I'll just wear this one while lounging at home.

First Impression - VERY Powdery. No oud to speak of so I suppose there is truth in advertising. Reminds me of a women's face powder. Must love powdery fragrances to get along with this one. Was hoping for something a little darker/moodier to help round out the collection as I feel that the other releases in this line are actually pretty fantastic due to both quality of ingredients and the blending of unexpected notes. Definitely try before you buy.

I just tested this on myself at Sephora - terrible mistake! It smelled decent enough on the tester strip by on my skin it's screechy, scratchy and literally painful to smell. It is one of the worst perfumes I've ever tried. It is a combination of obscure, harsh notes that just smell like a cheap men's cologne...but worse. I typically love Oud based fragrances but this one is spot on with its name - the Oud is indeed invisible.

I kid you not, this smells exactly like one of those pink urinal cakes. I’m an oud-lover, and this is just not it.

Invisble Oud is an unfortunate men's cologne in a very feminine bottle. The way I see it: false advertising. This is an awful oud scent that smells like men's aftershave. Horrible.

At the opening I smell the benzoin and an almost Play-Doh vibe. Oud and a touch of sweet myrrh show up shortly. A bit of powder, muskiness and vanilla in the mix. The oud has some of that Comet bath room cleaner, baking soda, almost fresh smell to it; similar to Tom Ford's Oud Wood. Performance was average on this unisex scent. Lasted around five hours before becoming soft. The oud here isn't offensive; in fact I think this would be a nice beginner oud. Not too sexy but pleasant, fine for work and any age. I like Invisible Oud quite a bit; much more than I though I would. It's a little safe but smells nice. I've smelled other fragrances that are very similar. A little expensive for what you're getting in my opinion. A better deal once it hits the discount sites. The bottle looks cool but I haven't seen it in person. Worth a test!

This is an amazing fragrance. I have no idea what jwhdz1 is talking about when he says it reminds him of a woman's face powder. This fragrance has plenty of agar wood (oud); it's just not the type of oud fragrance that is mixed with other "Dark notes" to create that arab oud scent. This is more of a soft-sweet oud that is honestly one of the best fragrances I have smelled in a long time. I have plenty of fragrances, all from creed, perfumes de marly and Roja dove but I am honestly extremely impressed with this blend. Very very good fragrance. Would definitely recommend this fragrance. Try before you buy obviously as everyone has different likings and dislikings.

Although fragrantica and I belive V&R market this as a unisex fragrance... the bottle, display and general presentation swings very feminine. Especially when most of this "Magic" collection has floral fruity notes. With that being said, this is a decent fragrance for a man to wear. Its sharp and had a oudy note. It kinda reminds me of Cartiers OudOud fragrance.

Invisible is right! This is verrrry light on my skin. On paper it's quite a nice smell, a pleasant amber-vanilla mix deepened by just a hint of oud. On skin, though, there's just the barest suggestion of something woody, and not much else.
