Sparkling Secret

I love this! I received a sample of it with an order I placed. Its been 4 hours since I sprayed my wrists and neck and I still smell it. It is very strong at first, full of that warm vanilla bourbon and slight citrus scent. Once it dries down it becomes this wonderful orange blossom and woodsy smell. Absolutely beautiful. I am itching for a full bottle now. ***Edit 5/9/18- My SO bought me a bottle for our anniversary and it arrived yesterday, I love this scent so much that I made sure to not refresh my perfume I had on for work so I could spray it. I immediately opened the box and sprayed my neck. My boyfriend said that this scent to him it starts off as vanilla-bourbon as well and rolls into a sweet citrus-fruit scent that reminds him of fruit loops cereal (but not in a bad way), at dry down he can really smell the orange blossom and he doesn't quite smell the woodsy notes but really enjoys all of the levels of this fragrance on me. It will be a long time favorite and I have a feeling I will be wearing it more often than anticipated. ***Edit 5/24/18 - This morning when I sprayed my perfume, I realized it reminds me of sitting on the beach and sipping a margarita!!! Yummy!

I procrastinated a lot about buying Sparkling Secret because very often fresh citrusy scents, as much as I love them, lean masculine to my nose. Also, I already love three from the magic line of Viktor & Rolf, so it seemed unlikely that I would like another BUT, this surpassed my rather bleak expectations for it. It starts of as an invigorating, zesty freshy with a spicy kick from the ginger. Orange blossom mellows the zing but the 'magic' of this scent was in the dry down. Amber in combination with the vanilla brings a surprising but welcome warmth and sweetness, turning this into a cozy sweet citrus, woody scent. It's definitely unisex and quite lovely in my opinion. However, performance is absolute pants, so there's that. Overall, this one did surprise me, in a good way and I've decided to keep it.

Beautiful orange blossom with a nice hit of ginger and citrus in the beginning. The ginger note makes the top really special and more unique. Very feminine, and sparkling is a great word for it. The other scents I’ve tried so far from this line (Sage Spell & Salty Flower) were disappointingly light and fleeting, but this one is much more tenacious. I continue smelling the very pretty orange blossom as I go about my day.

Very juicy opening with a huge burst of grapefruit and lime! As that quickly fades, you get that heady, nose-tickling orange blossom coming forth and dominating. Slightly unisex quality because of the orangey-ness. This fragrance gets more interesting with time. After a bit, some creaminess sets in from the vanilla, which calms the orange blossom, and you have a very sophisticated creamsicle thing going on. I say "sophisticated" because by creamsicle I do NOT mean in a gourmand way. This is definitely not a gourmand fragrance. But if you wanted to give this more of a gourmand kick and even more of a creamsicle vibe, you could layer it with straight vanilla. This one is hard to classify...the description says "this is a citrus fragrance", but I disagree. To me, orange blossom is floral, not citrus. I think I'd call it a _clean_ oriental floral? If you love orange blossom, you will LOVE this fragrance!

Transforms more than any other fragrance I own. It starts off as a unisex, somewhat sharp citrus. It dries down to something very similar to Light Blue Forever, the orange blossoms comes through where it wasn’t noticed on initial spray, though Forever is softer, gentler, and lacks the spice, also similar to Neroli Portofino but in this case it is gentler & feminine leaning (but still perfectly acceptable for a man), a bit spicy and like a high end soap. It’s clean and fresh and just divine all around. First spray is lovely. Middle and dry down - divine.
