I got my Roots since last month and could not stop feeling them all around me, even if I was wearing another frag from time to time. I love the mix of iris (or violets?) with something herbal, woody and spicy (ginger? clove?). To me, it is an unusual and intriguing scent perfect for outdoors.

This is shockingly similar to Federic Malle Synthetic Jungle. I am surprised no one mentioned it. What can I say. This is a great super green fragrance with an iris touch.

I was given a travel atomizer 10ml to test drive as my local retail store has not received any stock of this one. Apperently it's pretty rare to see this on the shelves here in the states. Second testing impression: Very green orris. I love the gabanum angelica mixed with the roots and makeup bag vibe of the orris. However, after a while, I've noticed something off about this fragrance. The choice of driftwood throws a wrench into this formula. It just seems to clash and make the whole mid and base disharmonious. There is a sourness to it, and not in a good way. Smells better from the atomizer than on my skin. Deeper into the drydown it get a bit better. Maybe it's my chemistry, YMMV. -------------------------------------------------- Scent 40/100 Performance 70/100

This is 100% not what I was expecting for an orris scent. Not creamy at all, it's a fresh, green aromatic one. Personally I love Room Service and also have Basilico & Fellini and this reminds me a little of both, though it's my least favourite of the three. Leans a little masculine though def unisex
