Do Not Disturb

Okay so the first thing is none of the notes here are correct. Like WAY off. According to Vilhelm, they are: TOP : SHINUS MOLLE (PINK PEPPER), CARROT MIDDLE : IRIS, JASMINE PETALS BASE : AMBROXAN, PATCHOULI, WHITE MUSKS For scent itself, it doesn't read as a "fruitchuli" on me at all. I've fallen in love with Vilhelm after FoF and this one may actually beat that out in terms of my faves. There's only one so far that I tried that was a letdown and it was Poets of Berlin. Do Not Disturb stars off as a leather woody scent for the first minute or so. I don't know what notes there are that create this, but that's what I get! After that the leather dies off and the woody scent remains and the florals start to shine through. Around 15 min it develops into an absolutely beautiful musky, woody sweet scent. It's almost into gourmand territory, the jasmine and iris don't pull as "traditional" florals. This is one that you have to just try for yourself but if you like Faces of Francis and Dear Polly, I think you'll love this one! When I think light and airy I think Moon Carnival. This is a smokey, sweet, slightly dark & boozy cool weather fragrance.

I am obsessed with this brand and with this perfume. This scent is so different, so beautiful made and so elegant. I just cannot stop smelling my wrist... Like all the scents from this house this one is very well layered! the opening is all black currant, very fruity yet spicy, is like waiting in a salon with a purple satin dress for the waitress to bring you another glass of wine while listening to the smooth jazz band, you get the woody floors smell, the musk from the bartender who is running late with some cocktails and the champagne that is being served on the table next to you. then it settles between a sweet and woody scent, I keep picking an amber note but I do not know if is part of the fragrance notes. The dry down is to die for, the vetiver comes medium to strong, and u can feel also the Ylang-Ylang in the back Just sexy and gorgeous. I am more than pleased and I need this perfume ASAP, u can definitely blind buy this if you are on the sweet/woody/spicy/bitter type of side, if you are looking for a unique and not so common fall scent, then sample this one and thank me later!

A masterpiece! The name of this perfume says it all actually if you let your imagination run wild. Very sexy bitter boozy woody scent. A hint of cigarette/tobacco. Licorice? Maybe even a tiny hint of fresh sweat. This is EXACTLY like the name implies - two people who stayed in their fancy hotel room for two days with some booze, cigarettes and non-stop lovemaking :-) Does not project at all by I guess it is by design. It would be disturbing if I could smell this on other people without being in their arms... On my skin (female) I don't smell sweetness AT ALL. After sampling this I will definitely look at Vilhelm Parfumerie a little closer.

This brand is so intriguing! Behind each perfume is a story that suits the scent. This is such a beautiful fragrance! I sampled all the ones in the store and this was definitely the winner, however, all of their perfumes smelt really really good. Idk where Fragantica got these notes from, however, the official notes of this perfume (according to Vilhelm Parfumerie's website) are: NOTES: Top: Shinus Molle, Carrot Middle: Iris, Jasmine Petals Base: Ambroxan, Patchouli, White Musk Absolutely stunning! and in my opinion, is coming up to the level of Baccarat Rouge 540 in terms of greatness. Highly recommend checking this one out <3

This one is HANDS DOWN the most impressive fragrance from this brand. What makes it extraordinary, is that it's a 100% original - I've never smelled anything like it, or even close, and the individual ingredients/notes are so well-blended they are difficult to detect. I'm not familiar with Schinus Molle, so that could be something I don't recognize, as well. But, mostly, it's extremely elegant, powdery - yet inky - if those two can, indeed, exist together, bold and sexy, yet somehow still light and airy. I'm a writer, and it's actually a v. difficult scent to describe. So, try it for yourself! Recommended.
