Hotel Cotton

Smells like very clean linens in an upscale hotel, so yes, the name is the perfect description for this scent. Definitely smells like something I've smelled before, but can't pinpoint right now. Maybe a little bit of MFK 724, but only the clean laundry aspect. There is something soapy in here, reminding me a bit of Blance from Byredo as well.

If you're into vacationing in nice hotels and want to recreate that experience of a refreshing escape, this is for you. It smells exactly like flopping down in lofty hotel sheets. I would consider this a safe blind buy if the idea appeals.

truly the perfect cozy laundry scent. i see the comparisons to baby powder but i get way more of ultraluxe laundry sheets. it has a slight touch of sweetness that makes it super comforting.

Clean laundry, with a creamy sandalwood, floral notes, and powdery. Pretty nice scent. Performance around 5-6 hours longevity, moderate projection. Overall pretty pleased with this.

I'm fragrance-sensitive and find this scent to be soft, lovely, and a perfect interpretation of a clean cotton/linen scent of a high-end boutique hotel. It's inoffensive and puts me in a relaxed mood when I wear it after a shower at night. It's a pretty mix of perfume and light soap. I can see myself wearing this in the daytime when I have a leisurely day of doing relaxing things.

Love this but I also love B&BW Sea Island Cotton which smells very very similar to me. IMO not worth purchasing this for that reason. But if you want a fancy version of Sea Island Cotton then this is it.

Very clean, soapy, and powdery. If you don't like those things that you would hate this. But, if you're like me this is stunning.

Yep. Smells pretty much as the name implies. Very fancy hotel soap vibes. It's clean, soft, vaguely floral, and calming- if a little vintage? Wearable anytime, anywhere, classy, clean, and pleasing. The kind of hotel that's historic, small, and made of brick that sits on a narrow street full of artisan shops.

This smells like bounce dryer sheets. Not bad, actually a very pretty and crisp linen scent. But nothing about it reads as “high end hotel” to me as others have pointed out. Perhaps it’s simply toooooo clean for my taste.

I really wanted to love this...but it will be to first my linens only. On my skin, it’s smells just like a 2012-2014 pampers baby wipe. Very powdery, but not baby powder...distinct baby wipe though. I remember this exact smell so well from the years of diapers with my children. Again, this is on my skin how it translates.

i guess buy this if you have the desire to smell like a newborn baby for some reason

awful chemical stench. like cheap grocery store laundry detergent. exactly the laundry chemical that I avoid by buying unscented laundry soap or something too expensive from the special store.

There are clean girl 🫧 scents and then there is Hotel Cotton. It makes me feel like I am floating among the clouds inside a soap bubble. First spray and I was completely smitten. Imagine the best bubble bath of your life, skin still warm, slipping into something that makes you feel quietly sensual and completely at ease, then sinking into a soft, warm bed in a luxurious hotel. Everything feels dreamy, slightly hazy, like the world has softened just for you, and you drift into the kind of sleep that feels almost indulgent. But there is something deeper here. A softness that lingers close to the skin, a subtle warmth that feels intimate, like kind of sensuality that comes from feeling good in your own skin, from enjoying your own presence without needing anything else. Love this so much!

I really like this one. It's giving clean for sure but not in the typical Byredo Blanche way. It's warmer and softer. I'm guessing that's the amber coming out. It's clean laundry vibes but for fall/winter in my opinion. I don't get Fleur de Peau personally but if you like that one, you'd like this one. I like Hotel Cotton a little more than Fleur de Peau. It's more wearable imo.

I can't wait to test this...but someone mentioned that it smells like "Moroccan oil hair care" which I use and I dislike its fragrance, because to me it's like a bug spray :'( I really wish it smells like clean soap white crisp laundry in a luxurious hotel. Ok I like smelling of laundry as much as the next person does, but this ends up smelling far too much like those scented sachets they’d have hanging up by the pillow section of every Bed Bath & Beyond. It’s too literal and in your face about what freshly-laundered cottons should smell like, in a way that’s unnatural and ultimately unpleasant.

Definitely high end boutique hotel vibes. Clean, fresh, light and airy. Holds close to the skin and lasted only a wee bit on my skin. I imagined wondering through rows and rows of all the white sheets in the hotel hanging out on the clothes lines to dry. i was expecting a clean aldehydic scent but this is a sweet fluffy musk & vanilla bomb with a bit of bubblegum like nice smelling baby wipes & baby powder good for what it is & worth a try but a bit misleading 6 sprays medium to strong projection

As a clean scent LOVER, this juice is great! I wasnt sure if this would be too similar to love-o-matic but they are different enough to own both if you really enjoy the laundry scent profiles. Super happy with this purchase!

I love powdery smells. But this is just baby powder. Everyone made this out to smell like luxury hotel sheets and soap. I would love to smell like that, but this is straight up baby powder. Disappointed.

It’s okay but I thought it was a little too perfume-y which bothered me. For a similar vibe I would choose Guerlain’s eau de cotton instead as it’s much smoother.

At first it's intensely baby-wipe vibe but quickly meddles into that pleasent hotel linen smell, I would definitely wear this after bathing!
