I had the same reference from the staff at Scentbar who told me it smelled like the inside of a flower shop and I agree with them 100%. My best friend growing up, her mom owned a flower shop and we would go there after school for her to take us home so I vividly remember what that scent smells like and it’s lovely. I told myself I was only going to buy one bottle at Scentbar today because I can easily binge and buy 5 bottles at a time. As a lover of flowers and all things floral this really is a must have if you are a true floral lover. it opens up leading with a musty note, however, the florals are present and you get the aroma behind the green mossy note, and as the Moss fades the floral become round and full however, the green note never fully leave this fragrance. It is very lifelike, photo realistic, floral fragrance with leaves, stems, moss, and all. Priced at $120 for 50 mil it’s not a bad deal for a quality niche perfume, using real perfume oils in this ornately styled bottle.

For the first hour, I’m in a refrigerated, wholesale flower shop. The kind of place that’s not open to the public. The opening reminds me of Ostara by Penhaligon, not in the composition but in how the scent makes me feel. Like others below, it is shocking that the perfumer achieved this feat because looking at the note breakdown, it seems impossible. The dry down gives me a tobacco, wood and incense vibe. Quite the contrast from where she started. Out of all the perfumes I sampled last week at the Scent Bar in Los Angeles, this is the only full bottle I walked away with in my possession. I do think the bottle design and packaging feels slightly out of place—a little too gothic, a little too European—for the juice inside. But Mossy Glen does confidently state, “I’m unique”.

The most realistic flower, stems and all, scent I’ve ever smelled. Lasts about 4-5 hours on me and projects well while it lasts. The price point is very reasonable, and the bottle and packaging Is beautiful. Definitely smell the oak moss in the opening, but it’s very gentle, and this quickly morphs into a dewy green floral. This is the perfect springtime scent, and great for visiting any type of garden or relaxed outdoor event.

Mmmm yummy. Jammy fig leaf, fresh grown and picked tobacco, bamboo and patchouli for freshness, cyclamen is creamy and delicate. This smells like a walk through the pond area of a botanical garden, fresh, real, authentic floral garden sent. Not watery, but welcoming and delightful. Tough to say it’s blind buy worthy but picture a beautiful botanical garden pond scene. If you’re into it, sample and/or buy it! It’s good!

Currently sampling a few fragrances from Villa Erbatium, and Mossy Glen was a love at first sniff. It's floral, green and aquatic. The greenness of freshly cut stems, a hint of sappy bitterness. Like being in a room full of freshly cut flowers The room is cold but there are wafts of sunlight filtering through the trees outside. It feels nostalgic but I dont know why. Gosh - I need a full bottle

This smells so lovely and unusual--like a fresh spring meadow, with cyclamen and fig and daffodil. Unfortunately it does not sustain itself very long and is gone after just an hour or so. But while it lingers, it's just heavenly. There aren't many fragrances that do such a good job evoking the springtime.

There is such artistry in this perfume. It’s quiet and polite, tossing occasional whiffs of freshly cut flowers and the green facets of snapped stems. This is not a perfume for those seeking attention. Rather for ones own self. It creates a calming vibe. I am in love.

This is such a nostalgic scent for me, it takes me back to being a little girl and visiting my favorite flower shop. Villa Erbatium really captured the smell of freshly cut flowers in a humid flower shop, it's really special🍃🌷🍃

This is Irish Spring soap as a cologne. I loved it on paper, very soapy, green, and fresh. I tried it on and it went very masculine. The tobacco thread became more pronounced. It still smelled nice to me but better for men.

Very stemmy, very green, smells like a flower shop, but not the flowers, just stems. It's very pretty, very polite, very wearable. I can see the Irish Spring soap comparisons, but without the soapiness, though that wasn't my first association. But I don't get any soap here. To me, this smells 90% like De Profundis, especially in the dry down. But scent is so fascinating because I can't wear de profundis, it's so macabre (the chrysanthemum/mums), smells like a funeral. It's so pretty, but smells like death. So even though these to fragrances smell close (to me), I would wear mossy glen, but not de profundis. Two fragrances can smell so close to each other, and yet so far at the same time.

This is beautiful, green, herbal, woody, flowery. I agree with those likening this to a florist shop, lots of moist breathing plant life. There is even a hint of over-ripe or almost rotting vegetal matter underneath it all, but this is not gross or overwhelming, just adds to the effect of transporting you to a humid plant cooler. Unfortunately, like vhskkt below, after a honeymoon period of a couple of hours during which I was seriously contemplating buying a full bottle of this glory, it turned into bug spray on my skin. I tried re-applying, and tried layering with a jasmine solifore to temper the bug spray note, but sadly it persists and I don't think this one can be mine.

My first impression when I put this on my skin was that I was smelling grass and moss. At one point, I even smelled peppery grass corms. Within about 30 minutes, it reveals an overall fresh, green, and sporty scent profile. It has a weak dry-down after about 4 hours and then mainly smells like peppery cedar. I'm smelling it now on a damp fall day, but I feel like it might be slightly different in spring or summer. We'll see!

I liked it at first but as it sat on my skin it got more of a “bug spray” smell. I loved it in the opening. It smelled like a fresh summer meadow with flowers around you. Not a cloying or powdery floral, but a fresh, green, and watery floral. I’m really sad that it doesn’t work with my skin, but it’s a very pretty scent.

seemed medicinal at first but settles into a very fresh floral. i definitely understand the flower shop vibes that reviews talk about - it smells like you’re preparing a bouquet for a vase. perfect for spring! faded down to a skin scent after 2ish hours so not the best longevity. i think by rosie jane’s leila lou serves a similar green+floral purpose in my collection, even though the notes are quite different, so i don’t think i’d go for a full bottle of this.

This is a nice fragrance, but i think I'd enjoy it as a candle or room spray. It's fresh, green, a bit perfumey, which I enjoy, but there's a soft spicy aspect to this fragrance that I find cloying. I lightly sprayed it on my forearms before bed, but had to remove it with alcohol because it annoyed my sense of smell. This fragrance is better than more popular scents and well blended, but it's also unbearable to wear on [my] skin. A bit of a dichotomy.

Pretty, inoffensive, but contains neither moss nor glen. Was really expecting something colder and earthier. For a photorealistic flower shop experience I prefer Grandiflora Saskia.

REALITY : The moment you smell this you're gonna get hit with a faint memory of Irish Spring Bar Soap being freshly rinsed off your skin. If you keep sniffing you'll also pick up on some cool realistic flowers in a vase - with their Leafy greens, water and all. REVIEW 🦪: I adore this scent. Crisp, green, fresh, and so alive—a floral that breathes. People say it smells like a florist shop, and I absolutely see it. Korea really knows how to achieve this concept better than Western houses. I’m immediately hit with a green forward floral fragrance that’s ever so slightly musky. There’s a hint of sweetness that grounds the verdant edge. In my mind, I picture less of a mossy glen and more of a dark pond, with water lilies floating on the surface. This is my personal idea of what a Naiad would smell like—hiding while a knight sheds his armor for a cool dunk on an early spring afternoon, dappled in sunlight. If you want even more of that PERFECT flower shop effect, look into Deun Hyang: Plant House (it’s a home freshener, but about 90% similar) If you want a cheaper dupe, I highly recommend The Gods Wait to Delight in You by Maison Millais. It’s slightly sharper and lacks that hint of sweetness, but on my clothes it gives almost the exact same effect. The notes may look different, but a lot of niche houses rely on similar aroma chemicals for green accords (cis-3-hexenol types), woody bases (Iso E Super, sandalwood molecules), and moss accords. So even if the note breakdowns differ on paper, the actual molecules overlap heavily between Mossy Glen and The Gods Wait to Delight in You.

Reminds me of Tabac Vert from Rogue but much less tobacco forward. It's a really lovely green scent. I get notions of moss, flower petals, dewy leaves, and dried tobacco leaves. With a bit of time it gets a little dusty feeling and the tea note brings out that dryness as the wood and tobacco comes forward more. Surprised moss isn't listed as a note? Maybe the name is enough of an implication. Anyways very enjoyable if you are ok with this fresh-green tobacco aroma, but it's not super loud so don't let that deter you from trying it. A bit afraid it fades too quickly.

Staff at scent bar describe this as smelling like the inside of a refrigerated flower shop. Cut stems, cool air, cellophane wrapping and all. Spot on. The tobacco and tea give it an earthy base, and the wet green florals dance on your skin. I can’t get enough of this as a fresh, soft, beautiful, grounding spring fragrance. Makes me think of a stroll through the shady trails in the Japanese garden at Descanso Gardens where rogue cyclamens grow at the edges of the path.

Perfect representation of the inside of a flower shop fridge. The opening is cool and crisp, floral (but not lightweight) and there is a note of a stem or branch that has been sitting in water for a little too long and has just passed its prime. I don’t detect the tobacco listed as a note - maybe it’s more like a fresh tobacco leaf there to add a bit of bitterness.

Echoing everyone who likens this to the refrigerator inside a flower shop. It’s green and fresh and wet and layers perfectly with some of the florals I have in my collection. It gives them a perfect natural greenness, and I think elevates them another notch beyond a stereotypical rose or Jasmin or tuberose.

First on smells like a Christmas tree in a nice sharp green way. Drying to tea and bamboo, with wetness and a hint of floral tone. The fig imparts a heavier twilight note that reads as glue on me. It’s faint, but it interferes. Overall nice, but I’d like it a lot better with the fig missing.

Smelled very green and peppery, but quickly settled into a beautiful watery green scent. A touch of something herbal. I assume that’s the tea. Absolutely beautiful. Never tried a fragrance that was cyclamen forward. Nice and refreshing.

Smelled it in Scentbar. Pleasant but boring. Smells like room spray. Nice Italian-apotecary looking bottle, but figured this is a Korean brand. Gimmicky brand?

It smells like roses to me, like photorealistic cold roses, a bit creepy but it smells good!
